"Meh. Relax, Fluffy. There are more muffins where this one came from," Meira said offhandedly, fishing her free hand out of her pocket where it dwelt habitually and snapping her fingers in a presentatory manner as she finished devouring her own breakfast. Spontaneously, yet another chocolate chip-laden pastry fell from the ceiling, plopping down on the head of the Ace who was trying to threaten the generally fearless and battle hungry 10 in the terrifying form of a housecat. Meira wasn't exactly scared.

"Crimes in the Cove? Huh. The way I see it, it might just be easier if we waited just a little longer. Whatever it is petty thieves have done to piss you big names off, it must have been pretty brazen. If we delay a bit, then they'll think we just don't care. They'll try something even more stupid, and once they're out in the open, we can surround them and beat 'em down. Once their comrades get word that the forces of the Spire trashed their pals, they'll think twice before they do anything else contrary to your interests. That way, you get your criminals dead, Ogar and I get to crack some heads, and everyone is satisfied," The brash 10 proposed, grinning as she once more placed her hands in her pockets, kicking back against the wall in an entirely too carefree manner.

"Besides," Meira added. "A head-to-head battle is much more fun than sneaking and skulking about anyway. Wouldn't you say?"

Lawrence gave a brief nod at Ellen after she told him that she had slept well. He walked around to the side of the couch and, tired of standing, plopped himself onto the floor and crossed his legs. Everyone seemed to be inputting there own ideas and opinions about the situation, but Lawrence himself hadn't really felt like getting too deep into the problem. It wasn't in his best interest as to what did and did not happen at the cove, but he was and Ace all the same, so he didn't have much of a choice but to participate. His smile faded a little as Meira spoke up once again, this time speaking a little out of line. He figured one of the other suits would speak up about her behavior eventually. Technically all this girl was was a mere number and hardly had any right to input her opinion on what the final decision would be about the conflict at hand. Though he didn't really like the comment about thieves pissing of the 'big names', as what she had referred the suits to, but he didn't care all that much about they way she was acting. One of them would get angry at her eventually. Rose had already told Meira to speak properly around them, of course that didn't seem to help much. If anyone was going to scold the 10 of spades it would be either Pandora or Jace, most likely Jace would be the first to become the most irritated, but he wasn't placing bets. Although the girl did have a point about leaving the problem be for now, they couldn't just brush it off and assume those living at the cove would act so stupidly. He wasn't doubting their capability of keeping the rebelliousness under control, but he knew it wasn't safe to assume everyone at the cove was some idiot that doesn't know any better. He leaned his back against the side of the sofa and crossed his arms over his chest as he watched this little conflict unfold.

Mother of God, thought the Ace of Spades. Children. I swear, they're all children. She sniffed disdainfully at the annoying chatter and bickering. There was work to be done. The 10, Meira, had her own brazen scheme. She frowned. It wasn't safe to assume that everyone in the Cove was as stupid as Meira's plan implied. There could be a diamond in the rough, so to speak. She was tempted to outright disagree with the 10's idea, but she'd let the small matter take care of itself and form her own idea. After a few moments of analyzation and deliberation and when the 10 was done speaking, Pandora voiced her opinion.

"If the crimes committed by those from the Cove are simply disturbing the Hierarchal citizens, I believe that we need to enforce order within the cove. This could be accomplished in many ways, but my personal suggestion is to send in at least a few units to... enforce the law in the Cove, which we've been much too lenient with. It's time to put then back in their place. They of all people are above nothing, certainly not the law," she finished. Pandora took a seat in a nearby vacant armchair, crossing her legs in a professional manner, showing that she meant business. When it came to matters of state, there was no room for tolerance.

Lawrece let out a small chuckle and closed his eyes for a moment as he sat there beside the couch. All of this planning and thinking is giving me a headache. He thought to himself, then opened his eyes and looked at the floor in front of him. This is starting to get boring. I haven't even eaten breakfast yet, not to mention I've been up for hours. Though, I guess that would be my fault. I wonder how serious this business with the cove really is that it got Jace to call a meeting. Still, all of the suits aren't even here and we have a little 10 in the room with us. Lawrence let out a sigh and picked himself up off the floor. Sticking his right hand in his pajama pants pocket, he gave a small wave to Jace. "This i interesting and all..but I personally don't find it all that important for me to be here if I don't really care." He said with a smile, then turned and made his way back into the kitchen.

In the kitchen, he opened up the cupboard and pulled out a coffee cup, thankful someone had already gotten the coffee machine running. He poured himself a glass then, taking out a bag of sugar from the refrigerator, began to scoop some of the sweet powder into his cup. After scooping out the sugar multiple times and adding about nine scoops into his cup, he put the bag back in the refrigerator and twirled the black liquid around in his cup using his telekinesis. Honestly, to go this far because of a little rebelliousness in the cove, I don't get it. He thought to himself, taking a sip of the overly-sweet coffee, then coming back out into the living room and leaning his back against the wall closest to the kitchen. If Jace has some better reason to do something about the cove, he might as well spit it out already. Otherwise there is absolutely no point in me being here. I wouldn't mind going out for a bit. The library here is nice and all but I prefer antique stores. He took another drink of his coffee, listening as Rose finally main her input.

"I agree with Rose myself." he said, looking up from his cup. "We might as well not go about making a big deal out of it unless it's actually necessary. That will only anger the people in the cove more. Wouldn't you think taking a more resolved approach would be better? Going around using force all the time will just make us look reckless." His usual faint smile turned into a considerate, half smile and he slightly raised his eyebrow. "Also, as much fun as it is to toy with a few annoying minds now and then, today I just don't feel like breaking any bones, ya' know?" He said, taking another drink of his coffee, then frowning as he looked down into the cup to see that it was almost empty and the sugar that hadn't dissolved was piled at the bottom of the cup. Crap...I really don't want to walk all the way back into the kitchen and poor another one. This sucks..

Kintry's eyes flashed eagerly, a smile on her face in cat form. She dipped her head forward, the muffin falling off, and she bit into it as it descended. It was finished off in seconds, and then she grinned up at the 10 once more. "Smart choice, little ten." She shifted back into her human form, leaning back on her arms on Ogar. Her head tilted to the side, and she snorted derisively. "And you really think that letting them continue like this, and gain more people to what's happening is going to help? I don't think you see the whole picture, little ten. Letting it go on like this is only going to make the people more angry, and if we don't do anything about it, as we haven't really been keeping an eye on it in the first place, things are going to get really hairy. This is why you're only a ten, and the rest of us are at the top of the Hierarchy." The fem's lips turned up in a smirk, her eyes daring her to challenge it.

She then merely giggled, that smile back on her face as she glanced around the room. She watched as Lawrence went off to the kitchen, and her stomach growled very loudly. "Well if he gets to go, I'm going!" She pushed herself off of Ogar, and then made her way to the iced-over door. She put her finger on her lips, wondering how the previous had gone in and out unless there was a door she wasn't seeing. She shrugged, smiling merrily to herself and shifted into a bird-like creature. The temperature around her rose viciously, and the Ace of Clubs, now a phoenix, stepped lightly through the ice, having it melt immediately around her. After she was through the tiny obstacle, she turned, bowed, smiled cheekily, and then turned after saying a quick "I'll be back".

The girl then ran quickly through the hallways, immediately going to the fridge and taking out a bunch of cold food ranging from pancakes to bacon, to cake and juice, as well as strawberries and other sugary high-calorie sweets and the like. She shifted onto her tiptoes and took out a container of maple syrup, going all out on those pancakes. The syrup oozed out, amassing on top until the breakfast food was more than completely drenched. The gooey substance was even beginning to overflow the plate. Happily, she rocked on her heels before plopping down, beginning to tuck into everything cold. She really didn't have any time to heat it up, nor did she care much anyway.

Now having satisfied her avid hunger and licking her platters and silverware clean, she got up, stretched, washed her hands, and took a few moments to digest the food a bit before taking out a bag of jumbo marshmallows. Satisfied with herself, Kintry returned back into the room, walking straight towards Lawrence before grabbing his mug and running two fingers along the bottom, gathering up most of the sugar before landing on the plush carpet that surrounded the sofa which Ogar was sitting on. The fem then viciously ripped open the bag on marshmallows before taking one and wiping her fingers, and then popping the rest of them into her mouth one by one, holding it protectively close to herself, having no intention of sharing.

Meira had to bite back laughter at her uptight superiors and their condescension. They strutted themselves about like little peacocks, an analogy which only further amused her. Calling her out on her lack of judgement, treating her like dirt... That didn't make her feel angry or sad. Actually, it was hilarious in a sick way. They mistook her carefree suggestion for some sort of heavily thought over plan, and then the insults began.

No, idiots. I'm a 10 because I don't care about you or your Hierarchy. Leave the paperwork and the boring stuff to these old geese, I say. I'd much rather enjoy myself than be an egotistical and uptight shut-in. The teleporter thought derisively, giving an amused, carefree, and overall rather insulting laugh.

"Oh? Alright then, little kitten," She chuckled mockingly. "Do as you like. If being a boring old grouch before my time is what it takes to attend in such esteemed company, then I think I'll pass. No motivation, you see. I'd rather play! Rely on you old codgers in a pinch." Plucking a marshmellow from her pocket - specifically one that had just been inches away from Kintry's mouth the previous second, and had suddenly and inexplicably vanished thanks to Meira's powers - she tossed it down her throat, gave a carefree wave, turned and, placing her hands in her pockets, walked apathetically into a wall, and vanished with a last taunting laugh.

Lawrence let out a sigh as Meira began to go on about the reason she was a 10. In a way he agreed with her, though he still wasn't very fond of her sarcastic tone. They hadn't always been so high up. Once they were all just simple little numbers as well. He didn't know about the other aces, but it had been more work than he bargained for to get into such a high rank. He would've stayed a jack if he hadn't been the first on the list to take over after the last Ace of Hearts died. It hadn't really been his intention but he took the offer anyway, seeing it as a free ticket to have the choice to do whatever he wanted. We were all numbers too at a time. He thought to himself, though didn't say anything out loud as he lifted his cup and let the soggy sugar and the last bit of coffee slip into his mouth, moving the sugar around on his tongue for a moment before swallowing it.

He let out a sigh and watched the girl vanish from the room after passing around what seemed like a few insults. "Geeze, she sure makes me feel like an old man. Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." He mumbled then smiled as he turned his attention back to the other suits in the room. "Then again, apart from The Hulk and Cat Woman, you all look pretty grumpy today." He joked. The empty coffee cup floated away from his hand and he gently let it glide across to the room and placed it on the coffee table in front of the couch in the center of the room. "So, how bout we get this meeting over with." He said, then let his eyes focus on Jace. "What is it exactly that's got you all worked up huh?" he asked, his smile still on his face but his light green eyes were clearly serious.

Pandora raised an eyebrow and nodded at Ogar's outburst. "I agree with Ogar. Direct action is most definitely the only way to ensure that the citizens of the Cove stay controlled. I agree that it is not difficult to do such a thing, and that wrecking their ways of life sends a decent message and relays our point quite nicely. In addition, whatever the final course of action comes to be, it needs to be administered in a timely fashion, before the mess gets worse." She nodded once more, confirming her advocacy of Ogar's suggestion. The problems in the Cove would escelate if nothing was done. It was foolish to sit around and take no action. And, if the Cove were to dissipate in the process, so be it. No matter what the cost, the order previously upheld within the Hierarchy must not crumble, lest the balance they had all known cease to exist. The problems in the Cove were only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. It would worsen exponentially, the Ace of Spades was certain, if immediate, effective action was not taken.
