Weapon of Choice
Daggers and a little magic. Although he was a rare case and born into the world with the skill of magic, he has neglected this skill and knows only the basics. It does tire him a lot so he avoids the use of magic. The one and only magic he would ever hope to master is life magic, that would be the only magic that he bothers with. His two daggers are marked with special markings to help with magic control. They are also lined in a venom found in spiders used to paralyse their prey, however it is not always effective, some enemies skin is tough and the an open wound needs to be there for the venom to get into the enemies system. It also paralyses some more than others, for instance it may make some collapse long after battle or it may just make their legs go numb, which they could easily brush off as nothing. Each time Yelin may use his daggers, the venom is gone and he must apply a new coat in order for it to work again.
Personality
Yelin is very quiet and although he may seem mysterious of sorts, he actually has nothing to hide. Much of his past is amiss and he would seem to resemble a lost soul. He has given up on searching for what feels like a missing part of himself, and now just goes along with how things are.
The Elf is very shy, as he is not used to conversing with others, he likes to keep to himself but is always willing to lend a hand. People may be fooled by his cold exterior but on the inside Yelin is a softy. He has decided to hide his sort side though, he see's it as a weakness and would hate for anyone to use it against him. He does not talk much because he doesn't know what to talk about or how to go about it, to avoid making a fool of himself he chooses to stay silent.
You would rarely catch him smiling, not much to smile about in his opinion, plus he doesn't want to embarrass himself, it would be quite a shock to others and they would probably make a big deal about it.
When it comes to stressful situations, he keeps his cool and likes there to be silence so he can concentrate, however if he was unable to concentrate, he may snap at what ever was causing his loss of concentration. Don't get him wrong, he is quite patient, so be shocked if Yelin ever snapped, it would mean he is quite ticked off. In battle he is very serious, losing isn't an option but he will take a loss with pride and respectfully. If he were to underestimate an opponent and then lose, it would be a different story. He would feel idiotic for not trying harder or being more cautious and probably would never let it go until there was a rematch.
When it comes to love, Yelin has never felt such a thing (romantically that is) he feel love for his people and for his hobbies but he has never felt a strong feeling towards someone before. He doesn't think about it at all really, it's something he thinks will just happen, although he doubts he will ever develop strong feelings for anyone, it would be nice. Although he is very patient, he does not like it when people waste his time, he likes to get everything done in one day and if someone decides to stop him in the middle of his routine, it had better be good or else he might come off as rude for a first impression.
Bio
As he grew up, the Wood Elves had told him of how he was found and that he originated from the City Elves. It was clear he did have quite different features from the Wood Elves but they were his family and he saw them more family than the City Elves who he concluded, had abandoned him. Yelin was curious for many years of who his true parents were, why they abandoned him in the forest; he knew that the City Elves were quite, pompous and they annoyed him to be honest, he had a hard time believing that they might have had trouble keeping him. Which sounded to him like they saw him as an old toy, no longer needed or wanted. It was quite upsetting but after a few years, he decided to no longer dwell on the past, the unknown past. The Wood Elves are his family now and he was content living with them. One of the families had taken him in and accepted him they taught him how to hunt and fend for himself; magic isn't a strong point for the Wood Elves though, so he did not learn much, but many of the people were aware of the magic he possessed since they found him and decided to teach him as much as they could. And so Yelin mostly stays within his home area, and leaves when necessary for supplies or trade. He feels like he hasn't much of a purpose and does not know what to do with his life, he is waiting for the right opportunity to come to him, destiny.
As for the Humans, (the unknown) his family as kept it hidden from him and most of the others too, they are afraid that it might cause panic for not only him but the children too, or maybe they're afraid he'll go sus it out, Yelin was always the curious one. This could be his downfall.
