Setting
"Yelin! Could you go get some supplies please?" A familiar voice called out to him. He turned to face them after leaning against a tree outside for the past half an hour, admiring his home. It was who he saw as a mother figure to him, he gave her a firm nod and was off. "Be safe! Don't get back too late!" Even though he was old enough to take care of himself, she still worried about his safety, which felt nice to be cared about.
The male Elf wandered through the forest area of the outer sides of the city then decided it was time to actually do what he was asked to do and not waste anymore time. The docks for the ferry wasn't too crowded, not as crowded as it would get for the other higher class city elven area. He casually hopped on the ferry and noticed a few kids staring at him in awe, he glanced at them; startled they quickly looked away and his eyes returned to the view in front of him. He was used to being stared at, he looked much different from the other Wood Elves, and most of them knew his name because of this, he could see the curiosity in their eyes each time they stared at him, they wanted to ask many questions but someone like him, armed with weapons, known for using a little magic, and always lightly armored and never smiling, he didn't look very approachable.
Why was he going by ferry? Yelin wanted to visit the Grove of Spirits, it was a place he found himself deeply connected to and it felt strangely familiar. So that was where he was headed, it wasn't too far and he would make it back in time before dark, just a quick visit then he'll get the supplies, which was no biggie for him.
