Master Ethec had a strong knowledge of everything around him. He was observant, yet loud. He was both introverted and extraverted. In his soul, he was quiet; in society, he was loud. Every step was calculated, and if the occasion was right, even uncalculated steps were calculated. His entire being was reflection. He could just as easily breathe as to contemplate the inner and outer workings around him. To Ethec, everything was beautiful and ugly, but it was his belief in the oneness of the two that made him different; what made a man beautiful also made him atrocious. When his apprentices come to him, he is swift and cold, but yet somehow his warmth leaks out at the most unexpected of times.
Bio:
Master Ethec was born on Endor, by humans wishing to learn the Ewok culture. For a few months, Ethec's parents cared and nurtured their new child, and loved him. But poachers, hunting Ewoks, attacked the village the family was staying. Fighting for their lives, his parents took a valiant stand to protect their friends, and sadly failed. Just as all the Ewoks were rounded up, the infant loosened the poachers' bonds and force-commanded they leave and never come back. Knowing Ethec would died without parents, the Ewoks took him in and raised him as their own. His force-sensitivity was evident as a boy, and the Ewoks appointed him to train as a tribal shaman. But his immense and growing powers were sensed worlds away by Master Kenuin bar Yon, a human Jedi Master and refugee. Seeking out Ethec, bar Yon traversed the entire sector to find the well of power he sensed. He found Ethec, and taught him the ways of the world beyond the tribe, took him in as an apprentice, and took him across the galaxy to continually fight for the Jedis' survival. Ethec was a natural talent, and soon was a Jedi Knight.
Master bar Yon found the poachers who slaughtered Ethec's parents and offered Ethec vengeance, which at first Ethec meant to take gladly. But in the end, Ethec knew no good would come of it and returned to his master seeking redemption. Master bar Yon, extremely pleased, ordained Ethec as a fellow Jedi Master. Unfortunately, Master bar Yon died some decades later.
Now Master Ethec, well-studied in the arcane arts of the force and in the history of the galaxy, has a dream for jedis. Hoping to rally together what surviving patches of jedis still alive, Master Ethec wishes to unleash a new era of goodness and learning.
Ultimate Goal in Life: Reestablish the Jedi Temple and create a Jedi-theocracy.
Weapons: A beautiful silvery blue, curved hilt lightsaber, with a pontite crystal.
Abilities: Generic force powers, in addition to reading minds and desires, cooling tempers and fears, and sensing life across a whole sector.
