Inside the Jedi ship and aura of calm meditation had fallen amongst its passengers, the return to Coruscant, home of their darkest moment was one of mixed feelings amongst most of the Jedi. The Jedi Knight known as Deel Teroalass was not one of the meditating Jedi, not being able to sit still long enough to let his mixture of excitement and anxiety come under control, instead he took to pacing back and forth in his quarters, every now and then looking out of the window as the planet came closer and closer.

When the ship itself made port he and the other Jedi of the Order were stood ready at the bay doors, the younger Jedi had an air of nervousness around them and he took a few deep breaths in an attempt to slow his heart, it seemed to work for a time. When the judder of the ship landing ran through the ship the Jedi steeled themselves and as the doors opened wide and the walkway slid gently out from the belly of their ship they strode as one out onto the planets surface.

Deel could not help but look around at the marvel of the world around him, he had never in person seen a true city, living in tribes or on Dantooine gave him a more rural upbringing than most others of the Order and the sheer size of the building around him gave him no small moment of pause, as he watched other people moving around the space port his hands moved into his robes and sat on his twin sabres, a subconscious response.

I was trying to part the crowd but they put up firm resistance. "Move aside please senate transport." I said trying to be nice but instead the crowd pushed closer. I did a small force repulse knocking the crowd back. "I said move.!" The crowd parted quickly and I kept looking for weapons. "All clear down here senator." I yelled over the crowd before backing up to the ramp of the ship.

The small transport ship was now silent as the robed being inside it sat motionless in the chair. He wore a pair of robes that his mother had given him a year ago on her death bed, with a mask he made himself covering his face. Strapped to his back was a freshly assembled vibroblade.

Sulin was deep in meditation. It was nearly a year ago that he had reach 'known' space. Since then he had formed a small, near invisible, group of force wielders called the Observers. They all had gone through great lengths to stay invisible while keeping track of the galaxy around them. Sulin couldn't truly tell whether the organization was doing well or not. At its size, the slightest change could kill it off.

Then, about a month ago, all those of sufficient skill in the force felt it. A pull that they couldn't understand. So, after several days of meditation, the members decided that Sulin, being the founder, only seer, and most skilled, would be sent to investigate. So now, here he was, preparing to take his small vessel into orbit around the city planet of Coruscant. By now, he knew that the origin of the pull was here on planet, which made him even more curious.

Activating a full systems cloak, Sulin woke from his meditation and began to guide the nearly undetectable ship to the surface of the planet. When he was finally confident on his landing zone not far off the port, Sulin made as quiet a landing as he could. Upon exiting the ship, he quickly commanded the force to make him invisible, which force users on the planet likely felt, with no follow up. Like it was only a pulse.

The ship descended upon the platform, kicking up a wind that fluttered at Ndawe's robes. It was timed too perfectly, and felt as though the wave he felt rippling through the force had caused it. Pushing it from his mind, he clutched the robes closer to himself, and stepped forth to meet his Master. She would have better sensed it anyway. He towered over her, even when bowing his head. Nevertheless, there was an air around Cato Vrynn of unmistakable authority. Ndawe merely nodded towards Threx.

"Good morning Ms. Vrynn. This way, if you will?" he gestured, falling in step as they walked away from the landing pad. "You will be pleased to hear that your accommodations have been set up per your specifications. Your personal air-speeder is available whenever you wish to depart to the Senate. A modified Gaba-18 speeder, you will find it most comfortable. I trust your flight was not too stressful?"

Although they were on a personal landing bay, as was expected of the more sumptuous suites, Nthando knew it would not do to discuss matters more... personal. After all, one never knew who was listening. That had been part of the reason he'd been sent ahead, with a variety of droids. They cleaned, arranged, and more importantly, carefully inspected the suite which his master had requested for any security compromises. They found none, and had quickly accessed the security mainframes. Clever pieces of machinery, these droids. Valice would have more control of her suite than the Hutt real-estate tycoon they had gotten it from.

Only once the security doors closed behind them did he speak more freely, getting straight to business. "The council is highly divided. How to react to the Jedi is only one such issue. Choosing a Grand Chancellor may prove a long, tedious business. The Jedi themselves have arrived already, and I suspect they will be on their way to the Senate. The temple will remain a ruin until they can secure sponsorship. The Imperials will, of course, heavily oppose this, as will all those with resentment towards force users. But the Jedi may have enough support to succeed."

Moving carefully about the buildings, Sulin remained as undetectable as he could be. He knew that should he get too close to a jedi, maybe around 10 to 20 feet, they would know he was there. He knew well that he had to avoid that, so as such, he stuck to taking the roof tops, doing his best to avoid using the force. His position might be a little more than dangerous, as he did not know how the jedi might react to knowledge of him.

His first stop was the old jedi temple. They had a library there that, assuming minimal damage, could give vast quantities of unknown knowledge. Sulin could not pass up this opportunity at such easy knowledge.

It had taken Sulin a grueling three hours to get to the old temple. It was in complete ruins. However, Sulin still had hope about it and began by walking in the one archway that was still intact. Upon entering the temple, Sulin fell to the ground pain rippling through him until he had lost enough focus to become visible, both by eyes and by force, once again. He stood up quickly now, without pain, noting that the force was a dangerous thing in the temple.

Following the broken down hallway, occasionally using the force to move objects out of the way, Sulin moved at a hastened pace. He could be seen and he could be felt, two things he found horridly dangerous.

Finally reaching the library, Sulin found what he was looking for. The lost knowledge of the jedi, their archives. It was plain to see that the archives had been damaged, but Sulin pulled all the recoverable data, putting it on a data spike to be brought back to the rest of the Observers. Sulin only hoped that no one had come to investigate the temple.

"Of course senator." I said paying the guards i'd hired I then left for the temple and walked in through the back feeling the pain of all the dead jedi who had once been here. I started towards my grandfather's room in the temple.

The loading of data to the spike was finally completed. However, Sulin's fears were not helped when he could feel another presence enter the temple. He didn't mind the jedi who stayed back, this presence was getting close. Something about this being didn't feel one sided to Sulin, he had to investigate.

Drawing his vibroblade, Sulin exited the library, the dataspike securely attached to his hip. He moved in ways he hoped would keep him from being detected as he neared the other. He had spotted her in one of the rooms, though he could not tell what she was doing from the angle he saw. Coming around to the door, he stood in a defensive stance asking "Friend or foe?"

With a snap-hiss the cryo pod doors jerked open. RC-29436, known to his brothers as A'den, pitched forward, falling out of the pod and on to his knees struggling to draw breath. After about a minute of struggling to breathe he managed to lift his head and look around. The image that greeted him was nightmarish at best, the ship was dark, the lights flickered and sparked and paneling hung at odd angles. Many of the cryo pods were dark, their occupants lifeless having died without enough power for an emergency revival. He ran over to one with its lights still dimly on. "Tor, I'm going to get you out of there, hold on, just hold on. A'den fumbled with the emergency revival controls rushing to get his brother out of there.

He then moved on to the next pod, Taler hung lifeless in suspension. "Fier'feck!" He slammed his fist against the door. He ran to the next pod. The light was flickering but he was able to make out Fives suspended in the tank. He slammed the emergency thaw button and the process started. Tor was out coughing his lungs out now but at least he was out and alive. A'den went back to check on Fives. The pod had run out of power and the cycle hadn't completed. "Tor! Tor, help me get Fives out!" They went over and between the two of them managed to pry the door of the cryo pod open.

A'den started checking his vitals. "Not breathing, start compressions." They worked desperately to revive him but ultimately it was no use. Fives was dead. A'den slammed his fist on Fives chest. "Shab! Shab, Shab Shab SHAB! What the hell happened here. Why is there no power everyone is dead!" Tor stood him up. "First things first, we need to get kitted up, it looks like we should be abandoning ship so we need to get to the armoury and stock up. Armour, weapons explosives and ammo, extra air cannisters."

They'd packed the LAAT full of enough ammunition and ordnance to fight a small war and put in air. This was the part Tor hated, the work was done and there was nothing left to do but sit and think. All he could think about was his brothers that hadn't made it. Fives and Taler, they'd been together since they were two years old. They'd made it through the Killing House and all the live fire exercises. To have them die like this, in cryo was just brutally unfair. "Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la." he mused. "Not gone, just marching far away." A'den echoed him with a quiet "Oya. What was that thing Sergeant Kal taught his clones?" "Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum(1) Fives, Taler" "You know you have to say that everyday for the rest of your life now." "Do you think you could forget to?" "Never"

Tor set a course to see how close to Coruscant this bucket could take them.

"Put that away before you cut yourself." I said with small items swirling around the room while I had to meditate. "Now I wait for jedi to talk to with a peaceful solution in mind."

They'd been in the LAAT for 2 days when they were finally pinged.

"This is Coruscant Port Authority. Unidentified vessel please identify yourself." It roused Tor from his tired stupor instantly. "Good to hear you Coruscant PA. This is RC-11258 in a Larty from RAS Majestic. Majestic is heavily damaged with an unknown number of casualties. Stand by for coordinates, request immediate rescue mission. Also if you could clear us to land back at Arca Company Special Operations Brigade HQ we'd appreciate that greatly. We need to get in touch with General Jusik."

It took a little while for Control to get back to them. "I'm sorry there is no such places as Arca Company and we have no record of any General Jusik." Tor muttered angrily to A'den "Mongrel officers, you see what we have to deal with?" He got back on Comms. "Just find one of the Jedi, we'll talk to them directly, Kilo Squad out." Well that was no di'kutla use at all.
