He asks for everything. He is a very kind, if enigmatic person. He doesn't draw his truer power from his emotions, however, he may use his emotions very effectively.
In the latter days of the Old Republic, a new variation of Form VII, dubbed Vaapad after a creature native to the planet Sarapin, was created by Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Sora Bulq. Vaapad was explained as being a state of mind rather than just a fighting style, allowing the wielder to channel his own inner darkness into the duel, and accept the fury of the opponent. Windu, Bulq, and Windu's Padawan Depa Billaba were three notable practitioners of the Vaapad variant. Records of both Juyo and Vaapad survived the Great Jedi Purge and were recovered by the New Jedi Order, who preserved the records of Form VII into the Sith–Imperial War.
His power doesn't come from his lightsaber skills, however adept he is. He is far more advanced in the use and manipulation of the Force. Highly attuned to the Unifying Force, Azure is a Shadow of the Jedi Order and is gifted with pre- and post- cognition, seeing glimpse granted by the Force of things to come, and things which have already transpired. His force abilities are greater than his lightsaber skills. Due to his intense meditations he is able to use the Force far more and for far longer time periods.
A Jedi Shadow was a Jedi Knight who had pursued a unique focus of training to be a Jedi Sentinel. Working directly under the Council of First Knowledge, Shadows were sent to destroy anything and everything connected with the Sith and their followers.
The term was later used for Jedi Consulars who fought for the Galactic Republic during the Great Galactic War and the Cold War that followed it circa 3,653 BBY. These Jedi shadows specialized in stealth and dealing high amounts of damage to enemies in Force combat and were adept at concealing themselves with the Force.

A Durindfire gem was key in adding a distinctive silver sheen to any lightsaber blade. This stone was traditionally used by the Jedi of the Halcyon/Horn family. Durindfire gems were also used in standard Imperial Knight lightsabers.Azure's arm was heavily damaged in the fight for his master's life. He had his entire right arm severed and most of his shoulder. His shoulder blade his synthetic and the entire arm itself is reforged. However, his metal arm has both advantages and disadvantages. One advantage would be the speed and flexibility he has gained from the reworked appendage making him be able to react faster than a normal human arm could. One disadvantage would be, he can no longer use the force in a directional manner such as force lightening. He can still defend against it however.
History
Azure was born on Taris just a decade or so before the exodus of the remnants of the Jedi would simply vanish without much of a trace. Though one Jedi master, Amanranth DePeirce, a decedent of the Jedi Master Mace Windu during the Jedi Purge thousands of years ago found Azure and took him under his tutelage. He taught Azure many things, although, somethings just came naturally to the youngling as he first began his training around the age of six.
Over the years, Azure and his master would voyage to many worlds not yet influenced by the Sith. Though, the growing disturbance greatly afflicted him. Both Amanranth and Azure were both greatly fused with the force--and with each other. Though emotions are often set aside, Azure could not help but find a father figure in Amanranth. A orphan to begin with, he would become so again. A renegade Iridonian Sith warrior by the name of Zabara.
In the attack, he lost both his master who also killed the Sith warrior preserving his pupil but leaving him horribly injured and in uncertain hands. After a long and strenuous rehabilitation, and a cybernetic replacement for the arm the Sith had claimed- Azure set out on his own. In the few short years, he had become older. But with out a master, this prodigy was left as a Padawan. Now with the enclaves empty, he returns to these sacred sites to dig up holocrons of vast wealth in knowledge gaining further instruction even after the death of his master.
The years of solitude have fortified his mind, and he has made it his own temple. Often returning to that place during intense meditations where he is able to actually bend the Force to such a degree that he can see visages of masters past much like Ben Kenobi and indeed, Jedi Master Yoda and Qui Gon Jin.
