He has naturally black hair that reaches just past his chin, and he keeps it dyed blonde, though his roots often show because he can't be bothered to fix the problem. His cat-like eyes are a bright golden color and are almost always half-lidded. Hajime also has very pale skin that is free of blemishes due to how sheltered - and inexplicably lazy - he is.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]As far as apparel goes, the easiest word to describe Hajime's style is 'simple'. He most often simply wears his school uniform when he goes out in public; on other occasions he'll wear skinny jeans, converse, and sweaters that are too big on his lanky frame. Hajime claims he feels more 'safe and secure' when wearing warm, lofty clothing. There are few times when he will be seen without earbuds in his ears or a pair of headphones around his neck, and these are his 'trademark' accessory.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Hajime has his left ear pierced, and has ever since he was an infant. He always wears the same earring - a tiny, silver stud shaped to look like the character for 'cat'. This earring was a gift from his parents and he treasures it. Along with the earring, Hajime can always be seen wearing a metal bracelet strung with red and white beads around his left wrist. The bracelet helps him to control Hajime's Kitsune form.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Hajime's stamina and strength are average, and his overall health is very good. However, Hajime does has a rather severe case of asthma, though he only has asthma attacks during certain circumstances due to the God living inside him. Most people see this as him being 'arrogant' or 'thinking he's above everyone else' but in reality he's just too anxious and awkward to be able to talk to other people properly.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Hajime is not a confrontational person. If someone were being bullied, he wouldn't get himself involved, instead alerting a teacher or adult to the scene and going on his merry way. This makes him seem like an asshole, but everyone already hates him anyway, so he couldn't really care less. Hajime doesn't like to get involved in other people's business and will even go out of his comfort zone just to avoid their drama.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Because of the way his body works with a God inside it, Hajime is very bad at dealing with extreme emotions, especially negative ones. Because of this, he will go to great lengths to avoid such emotions being stimulated. He makes sure to sit far away from other people when at school and will avoid contact with other people when in public. There was no real danger to her life, but it was too dangerous for her to give birth, as it was unknown how her weakened body would react to the pain and blood loss. Hajime's father, Takahiro, prayed to the Izumo Shrine's Cat God, offering to pay any price in order for his son to be born in good health. The Cat God accepted the offer.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]And so, Hajime was born - but the Cat God was too, living in Hajime as a voice inside his head and godly powers in his blood. When the townspeople found out, they were enraged by the idea, claiming that it was a crime for a human to have taken control of the village's deity, even though that wasn't what had happened. The family was ostracized for the most part, and Hajime was shunned by all his peers.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Hajime was a rather normal child, as long as one didn't consider the God resting inside him. He smiled, laughed, drew on things that weren't paper and traipsed into the house covered in mud. He would flock to any animal he saw, and would try his very best to make friends, doing everything he could think of to try and impress them, even though the other children would simply tease or bully Hajime in return.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]As he got older, the Cat God's - whom he eventually named Hiniku, for his unending sarcasm - magical power began to grow more apparent. Hajime found that he was able to communicate with animals as easily as with another human. Cats flocked to him as if he were one of their own, and the plants around him bloomed in different flowers depending on his emotions. His injuries would also heal instantaneously.[/color] [color=transparent]XXX[/color]
[color=black]Everything went to hell in Hajime's life when he was 6 years old, just a week before he was going into the 1st grade. Kimiko and Takahiro had been called to the school after Hiniku's power severely burned a child who had been bullying Hajime. The child's parent began harassing the couple both verbally and physically, until Kimiko was pushed to the ground, spraining her wrist and causing her to cry out in pain.[/color] [color=transparent]XXXX[/color]
[color=black]Watching his mother cry, Hajime grew furious, his anger focused solely on the woman who had pushed Kimiko. Hiniku took this rage as an invitation to use his power. In seconds, the area had exploded into flames. The woman and Hajime's parents all perished in the explosion, and in the course of a single short hour, Hajime had become a murderer in the eyes of the townspeople, never to be trusted.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Hajime refused to leave his bedroom for months after the incident. Grief and self-loathing were his only emotions, every plant within a kilometer's distance blooming into a mess of purple Hyacinths. When he finally came out of hiding, he no longer smiled, no longer laughed, no longer tried to befriend or impress others. He understood why he was despised, and made no moves to change their opinions.[/color] [color=transparent]XXX[/color]
[color=black]Since then, Hajime has become more involved in the workings of Izumo, his grandfather eagerly training him to be a proper heir. Hajime doesn't want anything to do with becoming Mayor, and really only wants to take over the Shrine, though he goes along with his grandfather's wishes if it'll make him happier. Lately, the elderly man is growing weak, so Hajime has been taking over more and more of his duties.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Hajime's cats have recently decided to try and do something to help cure Hajime's loneliness. Hajime was born only two years after they had graduated, making them the youngest couple in Izumo to have had a child. After they died, Hajime was left in the care of his grandfather, Hideto. Hideto was already very old by then, his wife having passed away before Hajime was born, and therefore the man began to shift many of his town duties over to his grandson. Hajime cares very dearly for him. Hajime also has an aunt, Hanako, Kimiko's sister, who is staying in Tokyo in order to study Shinto Religion at Tokyo Uni. More often than not she will wear it in a simple ponytail, though she will sometimes braid it or wear it down free.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Kaori is pale-skinned, and burns easily, so she tends to avoid sun when it is too bright outside. She keeps very clean and rarely gets blemishes of any kind, and her skin is free of any scars or other damage. Kaori is 176 centimeters in height and is considered tall for being a female, and her weight is at about 52 kilograms, though she never weighs herself so that number may be inaccurate. Kaori is thin, but by no means weak or frail.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]In terms of bodily health, Kaori is of decent status. She makes sure to eat a healthy diet and spends a majority of her life walking around the city, so she gets a good amount of exercise. Kaori has mild asthma, but hasn't had an actual asthma attack since Junior High, so she doesn't worry about it much. She rarely gets ill, but when she does, Kaori has to take a few days to recuperate because her immune system is very weak.[/color]

[color=black]Kaori is rather plain when it comes to wardrobe choices, and prefers minimalist style to anything flashy or gaudy. Most of her wardrobe consists of plain colored shirts or sweaters - many of which are black - and shorts, which she wears with leggings or tights underneath. Kaori tends to feel vulnerable wearing skirts and dresses because and because of that she only wears them on really special occasions, like a wedding.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Her usual outfit consists of a pair of jean shorts, black or white leggings underneath, a colored sweater or t-shirt (often black or purple) and a pair of black or brown combat boots. If it is especially cold out, she will wear a hooded sweatshirt as well. Kaori is the type of person who will counter a rude comment with a subtle insult or blackmail, and she doesn't take kindly to anyone who invades her personal space without permission. She is a very private person. It takes time for her to warm up to people, and even longer for her to creating a lasting bond with them.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]When faced with a problem, Kaori will face it head-on, and is not afraid to confront anyone involved. She hates when people try to be sneaky and i always willing to expose them should they be up to no good. It isn't her style to keep secrets that can cause harm, and she will always confront someone who is in a sticky situation - for example, someone whose lover is cheating on them. Kaori hates to see people upset and will do her best to make them happier, even if she isn't the best at being optimistic or charismatic.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Kaori is a realist, but she will always trust her gut instinct over logic or instruction. She is someone who believes that everything happens for a reason, however she doesn't believe that fate guides her choices, as she prefers to think that she is in control of her own life. Her face is almost always in a peaceful, stoic state, however it is extremely easy to make her flush, and it is extra obvious due to her pale skin. She does not get angry easily, and it takes a lot to get on her nerves, which can be both a blessing and a curse to someone who is trying to get to know her. She would sit alone under a tree in the park and read from morning till evening, and would watch the other children play without a care in the world. [color=black]For the most part, Kaori's life has been rather ordinary. She was at the top of her class throughout grade school, and while her teachers often complained of how quiet she was, her parents never put any effort into making her more social. Kaori graduated Elementary school without having made a single friend, and without caring whatsoever about that fact. Other children were loud, annoying, and she was content to be just by herself. Kaori spent her summers writing or reading high up in a tree, and spent her winters curled up in her room doing the same activity. [color=black]Throughout Junior and Senior high, Kaori became known as the 'Ice Queen' of her schools due to her lack of social habits and seemingly unchanging stoic expression. She remained at the top of her class every year and was often asked to join the Student Council, though she always refused. Kaori joined the Literature club in her first year of Junior high and remained a part of the club until she graduated from Senior high, making the decision to attend photography classes in university and become a journalist.[/color] [color=transparent]XXX[/color]
[color=black]Kaori moved to downtown Tokyo shortly after graduating college, getting a job at an editing firm and slowly making her way through the ranks, eventually submitting her own works and being accepted as an author. Kaori was given a job as a journalist after her boss came across a file of her photographs and was 'more than impressed' by their quality. The house is in the traditional Japanese style, with sliding rice paper doors and windows and a small garden full of dutifully-kept bonsai trees. Hana and her brothers keep the house clean and orderly, with few things ever out of place, however the home still has a very lived-in feel to it, even though it was empty for more than ten years. The four have been living in the house for almost a month and get along well, as they always have. Hana has taken on the role of a parent and watches after her brothers as if they were her own children, making sure they're healthy and doing well in school. [color=black]Hana was overjoyed when she turned six, happy to be able to go to school with her friends instead of waiting every day for their classes to finish. She easily flourished in the environment, making friends out of all her classmates and her grades showing genuine promise. [color=black]When Hana was eleven years old, her grandfather died, leaving his wife on her own. Since there was no one else in the family to help, Hana's parents decided to move in with her grandmother in order to take care of her. The move to Kyoto was hard on her, as she had to leave behind the friends she'd known for so long. [color=black]It didn't take long to adjust to life in Kyoto, and she quickly gained new friends whom she hung out with constantly, though it was different from the friends from Kimura. Hana's grades flew to the top of her class' register. [color=black]Hana's grandmother died a few months into her first year of Junior High, and the family chose to remain in Kyoto, since Hana's parents didn't want to uproot her brothers Hiroshi and Satoshi the same way they had with Hana. A Kitsune is a shapeshifter, and as such, Yoruichi can take the form of almost anything he wishes, from animals to humans of either gender. He is most commonly seen (in human form) as a rather ambiguously-gendered person, with long black hair and silver eyes. Depending on how he dresses or does his hair, this form can appear as male or female, and as a shapeshifter, he can choose whichever gender he wants to take on physically, including the ability to truly choose no gender at all. A feature that is consistent with all of his human forms is his silver eyes, a trademark of the color of his fur and the one thing that serves to keep him apart from others. To this day he has no idea if they are still alive somewhere in the world, but he truly doubts it. Yoruichi, as a fox, should have passed on only ten or so years after his birth, however, he was special in the fact that he stayed alive much longer than he was meant to.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]After about fifty years of life, Yoruichi became a Kitsune, able to shapeshift into a human form. The wisdom of a Kitsune allowed him to learn about the world at an alarming pace, and soon enough, he could hide among the humans without being detected. He spent his time observing humans and helping supernaturals who were being prosecuted due to the laws against their kind, helping many escape death at the hands of frightened humans.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Time went by, and Yoruichi gained four more tails. His power and magic grew with each one and he became a looming figure in the minds of man, someone to be feared. He never killed, doing everything that was necessary to save his own kind without taking lives. Despite this, he became known as a harbringer of destruction, having destroyed villages and towns where supernatural races were being slaughtered. Eventually, he was captured.[/color] [color=transparent]XX[/color]
[color=black]Yoruichi barely managed to escape with his life, having shapeshifted into a young girl in order to trick the guards into letting him out. After fleeing to the other end of Japan, he came upon the House of Winds, where he's been staying for about six months' time. He doesn't plan to stay forever, at least now that he doesn't have to worry about being murdered without anyone saying anything against it. [color=black]He is a guardian of the House of Winds, and a protector of those who are willing to try and mend the broken bonds between man and supernatural. She skipped childhood in the traditional sense and went straight into learning the moment she could speak taught by expensive tutors who practically worshipped the ground her parents walked on. She learned about etiquette- sit up straight, control your expressions, use proper speech, always show respect to those above you. She was taught to read and write and work with numbers before she even started school, and went into primary school already several steps ahead of her peers. This gap, caused by her early schooling as well as the illusion of superiority she'd been taught, caused Eun-Ah to distance herself from other students even as a child, a habit that has lasted throughout her life. She went through school at the top of her class every year, while being tutored at home in business and financing in the hopes that she would one day take over her parents' company. Her parents' hopes- not hers. Eun-Ah graduated from school and was expected to pursue higher education. She chose not to. Her parents were thoroughly shocked- never before had their cookie-cutter daughter defied anything they said. But Eun-Ah was fed up with wealth, with status, with society. So she left her entire world behind and applied for idol training, easily finding purchase in the industry through her looks and wide range of skills. She flourished in the idol industry and soared above her peers, working extra hard to perfect every dance, every song, everything. However, her chances as an idol were destroyed after one of the producers in her company sexually assaulted her. Or, well, attempted to. Self-defense had been part of her tutoring growing up and Eun-Ah didn't hesitate to beat the man upside the head. The company tried to cover up the incident: fired the producer involved, stifled any news trying to get the story out. But Eun-Ah was not to be silenced, try as they might have to bribe her with money and the illusion of success within their company. Eun-Ah refused to go along with their cover up, and as such, Eun-Ah was ejected from idol training.[/color] [color=transparent]xx[/color]
[color=#B564E3][b]A[/b][/color][color=black]fter leaving the idol industry, Eun-Ah was recruited by another entertainment company. She accepted, but having learned her lesson in how idols were generally treated, Eun-Ah instead worked as a producer's assistant. She worked their for six years, watching, learning. She blended into the background and quietly observed how the industry worked, how the people operated, all the tips and tricks they used. She switched between producers as an assistant several times before, out of almost nowhere, a new company called Aeora Entertainment rose. Eun-Ah recognized the women in charge, had even worked with their producer for a time, and knew they were smart, clever, determined. She knew they would be successful, and successful they were. So when one of the owners invited Eun-Ah to join their company half a year after its creation, she agreed without a moment's hesitation- a pleasant (to witness) shock to her bosses, who would never has suspected their doe-eyed assistant to turn traitor and run to the newest rebellion. Eun-Ah liked to see people underestimate her, to watch their jaws drop when she did what they thought was utterly unthinkable. Photographs are high quality and Eun-Ah always, always, asks permission before posting them. She has no personal accounts to speak of and while it is likely known that she runs the advertising accounts, she makes an attempt to keep things anonymous rather than put herself into the media spotlight. Hyeon is of average height and slender, but his muscles are strong from his four years in idol training. He has incredible control over his body and can move from fluid, graceful movements to short, choppy movements without breaking a sweat. He also has a lot of stamina and does well singing and dancing at the same time. His hair is a pleasant reddish-brown, and Hyeon spent most of his life never having cut it, as it was something he had control over in his life. Unfortunately for all of his fans, he ended up forced to cut it during idol training after another trainee chopped off one side of it while he slept. Since then, he still hasn't grown it back out, and it's much too short to do much with, though he often pins it back while offstage. His eyes are black and he tends to avoid eye contact, even struggles with it during shows. He often has his eyes tilted downward, his posture tight and closed-off. Hyeon forces himself to appear happy and unaffected by the world. On a deeper level, however, he struggles in life as an idol because he finds it impossible to trust anyone, to let anyone know anything real about him, because surely if they did, they wouldn't like him anymore. They don't even like him now, surely, because why would they? Hyeon is uncomfortable with physical affection because he doesn't understand it, doesn't know what it means to hug and be comforted, has only known pain when others touch him. Yet he refuses to move away when people come at him, because what if he insults them? What if they get angry because he insults them? He goes along with what people initiate out of fear for what might happen if he doesn't. They had met, were enchanted by each other, and were married within months. Hyeon, however, never experienced a time when his parents were in love. They had met and shared a bed and his mother had gotten pregnant, they'd gotten married out of obligation, and then resented each other for years to come. Hyeon grew up not knowing what love was. His father was cold and distant, often gone on business trips or in business meetings or just away on business in general, rarely elaborating for any reason other than to vent when a deal didn't go the way he'd wanted. When he was home, he drank, and reacted violently to the smallest of stressors. Hyeon's mother wasn't much better. She was hotheaded and impatient, constantly scolding Hyeon for just... being a child, most of the time. But the worst was Hyeon's older brother, Henry- the meant-to-be-a-one-night-stand baby that had caused all the anger their parents unleashed upon the boys. Henry had been the only source of their parents' fury for seven years before Hyeon was born, and as such, he interpreted his new little brother as an outlet for his own anger, and abused Hyeon more than their parents ever did. He told Hyeon that fighting was futile, that it would only make the pain drag on further, that it was better to just let the beatings happen. And so Hyeon believed. He told Hyeon that he was worth nothing, that he wasn't loved, that he never would be. And so Hyeon believed. Henry was what Hyeon feared the most in his life- more than his father when he drank, more than his mother when she was frustrated. Even years later, Henry and everything he's said lingers in the back of Hyeon's mind like a cancer.[/color] [color=transparent]xxx[/color]

He did everything he was told, let the company do whatever they wanted, anything so long as he didn't have to go back home. He had no natural talent and had to work extra hard to stay in the industry, but it paid off in the end and his popularity rose.
