"Quote": "Is that what you think? Interesting..."

Name: Elvis

Nickname(s):"Prince Charming" (a name given both ironically and dotingly by the common people), "The Idiot" "Lazy Ass" "The Idiot Prince" (all names given by those who think less of him, which include common people, everyone in the palace, and his mother)

Age: Very nearly 18

Gender: Male

Position: Holder of the Mind Stone, and heir to the Ciaran throne

Kingdom: Ciara

Powers:

Ability to control wind. The most impressive attacks he has:

Windhammer An ability where he channels the wind specifically into the giant, ridiculous hammer he wields. When used correctly, Elvis can make his otherwise lightweight hammer slam down at intense forces, causing great damage to whoever his foe is. The hammer itself is hollow and collapsible, almost comically so, and without the assistance of his ability, hardly inflicts any pain. With enough wind, the hammer can also float and carry Elvis along with it, almost like a balloon.

Windtunnel Pretty self-explanatory. He can form giant tornadoes, and can also lift himself up using the funnels. If there is enough rain and the temperature is correct, he can also make a hurricane. The windtunnels vary in size, however smaller ones are easier and quicker to make. Larger ones take more time, and can typically be only made once, maximum twice, in one sitting, depending on how big it is.

Windsense Should he ever find himself in a predicament where he doesn't know where his opponent is (due to fog or low lighting or invisibility), he can use the wind to find out where people are by interpreting how the wind falls on him. Gaps, or dead spaces, are dead giveaways.

He can do other, pettier things with wind as well.

He also has the ability, through the stone, to 'read' minds.

Mind Sight Through this, he can see/read prominent thoughts, secrets, desires, and memories. They appear in his own mind, and can be difficult to distinguish from his own thoughts. He closes his good eye to read/see them better.

Mind Warp Also through the stone, with this ability he can nudge someone's thoughts, secrets, whathaveyou to his own liking. Sometimes it's a slight touch. Sometimes it's a huge push. The consequences of a huge push can be life-changing for the victim. This ability takes much more energy than all the others to use accurately, and Elvis has to concentrate greatly. The stone must be exposed for him to use this ability properly.

Family: He is the first and only son of the Queen. He has no siblings.

Stone name: Sofia

Where is your stone located?: His right eye socket. He had always had problems seeing out of it, but as he grew older, it completely destroyed his right eye.

Do you like the stones?: No. He could really do away with the nightmares, and is wistful of full peripheral vision and his depth perception.

Who is your Servant?: Apparently it is the Dragon of the Mind

Side: "Well, since I am a Holder, that should answer itself, right?"

Scars/Birthmarks: Slight scarring left by the stone around where his right eye should be. Typically covered up by his eyepatch.

Tattoos/Piercings: Two ear piercings.

Personality: Elvis is a laid-back, stares-at-paint-drying-because-he-finds-it-intriguing sort of guy. He is never, ever bored, even when he is doing or observing something others might find boring. He doesn't talk all too much, and also doesn't like arguing. He isn't a flamboyant show-off, and he pisses off a lot of people because he does things slowly and leisurely, as if he has all the time in the world. He enjoys asking people what they think of situations, and will often ask several leading questions without ever hitting a punchline. He never writes anything down, either. When he is fighting, however, he takes on a more serious attitude, and spots of his genius shine through momentarily. He does have fast reflexes, despite his sluggish, care-free movements, and enjoys his sleep. There are few things he doesn't like, and even fewer things he doesn't at least appreciate. He can be surprisingly stubborn at times, especially when it comes to avoiding arguments.

Bio: Being the son of the most beautiful and intelligent woman in Ciara, Elvis had some enormous high heels to fill. Although he was very bright as a young child, it became painfully clear that he lacked nearly all the determination and motivation of his strong-willed mother. The Queen tried everything: lessons, lavishings, deprivation, moderation, every single successful child-rearing method she could think of to get her boy in shape, but nothing. It didn't help that she couldn't carry another child again. She was stuck with this lazy, useless son, and the kingdom was to be his when he turned 18! Elvis was aware of his mother's (in fact, the whole palace's) animosity towards him. Everyone thought he was stupid, and that the kingdom would collapse with him as ruler (which, for some, wasn't exactly a bad thing, what with his tyrannical mother). No one could understand how the two could be related; they seemed completely opposite in every way. While the Queen was passionate, Elvis was apathetic. The Queen was evil, Elvis acted kindly. The Queen was a picture of health, Elvis was painfully thin. The only factor which they didn't differ in, however, was intelligence. Despite appearances, Elvis is extremely smart, something that no one else knows. Only his mother is slightly suspicious, but not enough to do him harm. Yet. The reason Elvis keeps his intelligence secret, or at least low-key, is because he despises his mother, and feels that embracing his intelligence and flaunting it will lead him down the same path as her. Sadistic traits lie within him, and he is afraid to feed them with ego and narcissism. Thus, he almost embraces the bad rap he has, encouraging the insults and doing nothing to change.

Elvis was born with the stone already in his eye. As mentioned before, his right eye had always had problems seeing, and would often shift around like a lazy eye. Finally, his mother let him wear an eye-patch, finding it the better option than staring at his rolling eye. This proved to be a good thing, as when the stone eventually destroyed his eye, he had a cover.

Talent/Skills:

Even without the stone, Elvis was good at reading people's character. He noticed things others didn't, and in an almost Holmesian fashion could decipher traits such as occupation, recent whereabouts, and whether they are lying, to name a few. Of course, he was never as blunt as Sherlock, or as degrading, and hardly ever flaunts the knowledge out loud.

Although terrible at drawing, Elvis is good at forging handwritings.

Excellent memory. He never writes anything down because he remembers it in his head.

He is a very talented napper.

Weapons: A gigantic hammer. Mentioned above in the powers section.

Loves/Likes: Sleeping. Watching. Doing things on his own time.

Hates/Dislikes: The stone and the abilities with it. His mother. Being rushed. Arguments.

Wish/Desire: To do what he wants, when he wants, however he wants, for as long as he wants.

Fears: Becoming his mother. Not being able to control himself. Having absolutely no wiggle room in a situation he doesn't want to be in. The stone and what it can do.

Weakness: Physically not the strongest. Personal Freedom. The chance to sleep in.

Crush: None so far.

Relationship status: Not particularly interested in anything at the moment.

Theme song: (I'll find one eventually ^^)

Other:

So begins...

Cordelia

The cool water swam around her, filling her eardrums and teasing her long, indigo hair out to tangle with the seaweed. Lips pursed together in a tiny pout, cheeks puffed with air, she looked up at the surface, a few feet above her, and blinked at the sun dancing through the surface. She waved at some passing fish, bubbles forming with each motion. They swam by in their nervous fashion, sticking closely together in their tightly knit school.

Cordelia moved her toes beneath her, clinging to the sea-rock she was standing on. Re-establishing her grip, she squatted back on her haunches, examining the aquatic life around her. Just the usual hunky-dory. A little drama between a hermit crab and a snail, but it had resolved itself after a few minutes. With a contained sigh, the girl was about to assist an upset crab when an unsettling piece of news floated to her through a bubble. It popped by her ear, breathing to her in a voice as thin as a breeze. Suddenly, the clear water took a darker shade, as if the ocean itself was reacting to the news. Fish swam away, anemones withdrew, creatures skittered away. The sun itself forsook the reef, and it was as if a dark cloud had settled on the previously normal day.

Quaint. For it was the news of a Shadow that had caused the ocean to react thus.

Not one to waste time--especially time that was already measured--Cordelia pushed off the rock, swimming easily--but with urgency--to the surface. Breathing in the salty air, she ducked back under. Spying a shark, she shifted to her more menacing draconian form, hoping it would ward off potential menaces, before swimming quickly to the palace of the Emperor.

Elvis

The young prince's steps were heavier and more forceful than normal, as he went out on his daily walk. It was the only form of exercise he would commit to, and his mother knew it.

His mother....ugh

They had gotten into another argument. A rather one-sided argument. He hated arguments. Probably the only thing he hated. It was the same old thing, nothing new. But she was getting pushier, applying more restrictions. Getting crueler. Trying to get into his head, like always. As if he didn't know she had that ability? That was the first thing he got after his eye got totaled.

He decided to go deeper into the forest than normal. It was still light out, and besides, his mother would be so proud. Wanting to get his mind off of her, he took note of the leaves, slowing his gait to examine the slight change of color they were beginning to go through. It was still summer, but late. Fall would be upon them soon. Not that he minded. He liked all the seasons.

The Queen

The regal woman paced her woman, completely frustrated. There was no getting to that boy! How in the world did they expect her to just give him the throne? The months were turning into weeks! He would be 18, and her time would be out!

Unless...

There was a guest she was waiting on. Someone who would take care of a certain individual she didn't know, but had something she wanted. Perhaps she could enlist them to take care of Elvis too?

Oh, but the kingdom liked him. Maybe not the palace, but certainly the common folk. At least, they liked him enough. No thanks to her, what with the massive propaganda she had been sending around, back when she thought he had a chance at ruling.

She swore, he was probably doing this on purpose! If it turned out he actually had a brain on him, she'd tear out her hair!

The door to her chamber opened, and a guard stood at attention. "She's here."

Cordelia

The pipes were too small, even for her more lithe dragon form, forcing her to go human. Even then it was a bit of a struggle. But finally, the pipes gave way to the main plumbing, and she followed the rushing water, listening to its words, and following its directions. He'd be this way....

She was stopped by grating, the water flowing into what looked like a pool. The bars were just barely wide enough, and it required her to shift back and forth between dragon and girl. Finally she got through, and she searched the water.

And she spotted him.

He didn't spy her, the boy resurfacing. She took the opportunity to swim closer. Within seconds, she was mere feet away from him, and after checking her own appearance--first impressions were everything--she herself bobbed out of the water, the slight waves lapping around her chin.

"Hi!" she greeted cheerfully.

Ayumi Human Form

Ayumi awoke with a jump. She had fallen asleep again. After all the the things she did to stay awake she fell asleep. Her night terrors consisted of her father this time. He was there before her and she watched him die all over again, this time she died too. It was terrible. She couldn't wake up. She couldn't get away. And she couldn't save him. She wanted to scream, but when your dead no sound comes out. Running her hand through her hair she checked the time. Prince Elvis was on his walk. She knew his morning schedule like the back of her hand. Once she is finished getting ready she would go and join him.

She threw her feet over the bed and walked to her bathroom where she a steaming hot shower. She felt the water compliment the scar on her back. It just reminded her of her mission to avenge her father. She didn't know shadows could be so evil to leave her with this ugly mark. She didn't deserve it. She was just a kid. Letting out a sigh she finished in the shower and turned it off. She wrapped both her hair and body with a towel and stepped back into her room.

Traditionally she dried off, chose and outfit, and pout her hair up. She was deciding whether or not to bring her weapon, but with her abilities she was sure to be okay. She left her room and decided to join him. Unfortunately she didn't know where he took his walks, but she was bound to find him. Easily she could have flown over the trees in her dragon form, but that isn't as fun. She walked through the forest calling out his name. "Elvis? Elvis where are you?" She called out watching her step.

Elvis

His name travelled through the winds. A voice. Who was calling him? He didn't recognize it...He stiffened slightly as he heard footsteps. The voice sounded feminine...but that didn't put him off guard. A woman was the most dangerous person he knew.

"Who's there?" he asked finally, in his usual slow drawl. He didn't want to get paranoid. Maybe it was a servant or maid. He relaxed a bit at the thought and straightened, his reddish hair standing out against the still (mostly) green leaves.

Ayumi Human Form

Ayumi froze dead in her tracks. She forgot that Elvis didn't know her. She let out a deep sigh and continued to look for him. Now she had to introduce herself and then convince him that she was not a psycho stalker. She spotted his colorful hair through the green leaves and she walked in that direction. She stepped out into the open space right in front of him. She placed a hand on her hip and smiled wide. "Hiya Elvis. I'm Ayumi. Dragon of the Mind Stone." She said debating whether or not she should extend a hand to friendship or keep guard just in case he would attack. At this current moment she was grateful not to have her giant axes. It would have scared him and then she would have to guard him in secret. At least this way she would seem a bit nicer and non violent.

Elvis

So it was just a girl. Didn't look like a maid from the clothes. In fact, he had seen her around before....around the plaza, walking by the castle, casual things only he could remember.

And of course, the girl would be a dragon. That ruled out the crazy stalker fangirl. Not that he had many. A pity.

"Dragon of the Mind Stone?" he repeated, "You don't mean, this stone?" he pointed at his eye patch, "The one under here, I mean. And even if you do, why in the world would there be a dragon of it? Does it actually belong to you? Because I would love to get rid of it. Only thing it's caused it's trouble, I'll tell you that."

Wow, talk about record for most words said in one sitting! Elvis mentally pat his back.

Cordelia etc etc

"Cordelia," the dragon girl chastised, "Cordelia, with a d! Don't forget the d! And you watch it! I could totally murder your father if I wanted to. Clearly I don't want to. Besides, killing is messy. Ugh." She shook her head, making a face, before covering it. Oh no! Had she given too much away?? Why did she just say that?!

"Uh...uh huh," she stuttered at his comment on her being a good swimmer, "Yeah, the best!" She tried to recover from her previous words, rubbing her neck sheepishly. Her eyes popped open when he asked what she wanted with him. Finally! Cut to the good part!

She hopped out of the pool, twirling until she was dry--which didn't take long--before performing an odd mesh of curtsey and bow. "I am your protector and guardian, fine prince!" she proclaimed, "Your life is in danger, but I, the Dragon of the Life stone, have been sworn to protect you with my own life!"

Ayumi didn't have all the answers to why she was protecting the stone all se knew is that she had to protect it. At the moment se was regretting revealing herself to him. It ddn't seem as if he was going to trust her. "No the stone does not belong to me. I don not know why there is a dragon for it. And I already know the burden it has on you." She said replying to what he said. Running a hand through her hair she let out a sigh. "All I know is I am suppose to protect the stone. You are holding the stone therefore I protect you." Ayumi didn't want anymore questions, but she was willing to answer. She figured this was a bit strange for him.

Protect him? As if he didn't have enough bodyguards already...though she was specifically supposed to protect the stone. He was a by-default add-on.

He nodded at her answers. It was a bit difficult to believe a dragon was held inside that girl, but hey. What exactly was he going to lose if she was lying?

He knew she wasn't. The stone answered that for him. Even though it was covered, it was still passively acting at all times. It got downright annoying back at the palace, but he had gotten used to passively listening as well.

"All right then. I'll buy it," he said with a slow smile, "One more question. How exactly do you intend on protecting me? I live in the castle, which is filled with people. My mother, no less. Is this more of a distance body-guarding, or close-quarters that will require me to sneak you in?"

Ayumi Human Form

Ayumi was glad that he believed her. She didn't have anymore answers or explanations for him. She was born to protect and she will. Even if it means giving her life. Then he asked a question that made her laugh. She tried to keep calm. "Well. I have been protecting you for a very long time. I have been in and out of the castle about a thousand times." She said like it was nothing. To be honest she was queen of stealth. "Your mother doesn't even know that I even know that I have revealed myself to you."

She sounded a bit creepy, but she had to let him know that she has been around the whole time. "How do you think I knew how to find you?" She threw out so that he could think about it. She leaned against the tree waiting for his response.

Elvis

"Fair point," he agreed. A very good point. Impressive too. Though something wasn't adding up. If she had been doing her protective gig without anyone knowing, and was as stealthy as she came off to be, then why this? Why encounter him in the middle of a walk and reveal herself entirely? Supposing he was interrogated by his mother later. Supposing someone was spying on them (unlikely, but still possible). Supposing someone found out through him, whether he wanted it or not. That jeopardized both of them. So why this?

Something bad must have happened. He didn't know what, but was positive that had to be it.

Although he was fairly sure he had figured it out, he still wanted to ask the question. To see what she would say, if she would say anything. "If you've been protecting me for a while, in your stealthy manner, which seemed fairly successful, then why did you decide to show yourself now? Has something happened?"

Ayumi Human Form

Ayumi was thrown off by his question. She didn't know why she was introducing herself now, she just felt the need to. Maybe it was because she was sneaking around the person she was trying to protect's back. She shrugged. "I needed someone to know that I was hiding in the shadows." She threw out as her answer. She didn't believe that there was anything wrong, but she already knew that the shadows were after her because she was in charge of the stones safety. She needed someone to have her back as well.

She pushed herself off the tree and tightened her ponytail. "So after you finish your walk are you going back inside to face your mother?" She has seen his mother in action and she did not want to be around when she bites his head off. She would probably be waiting in his room.

Cordelia

Naked? She looked down at herself.

Oh, right. So she was.

"I hardly noticed," she answered truthfully. "I guess it must have happened when I changed between forms. You know how it is. Clothes disappear, the like, only--" she was interrupted by a wild overcoat (wet too!) that was thrown at her. She looked at it, unimpressed.

"Do you want me to die of hypothermia? Not that I would, but honestly! Wet clothes is hardly called for." She flapped the coat once, twice, drying it off as the water rolled off it like oil. "But if it concerns you so much, then I will put it on. Hmph."

She wrapped the fabric around herself, unsure what all the fuss was about. She swam in the streams with hardly anything on all the time. Then again, she should have had the sense to bring an extra pair of clothes to change into. Just in case.

"My apologies, then," she said, hoping he wouldn't die of a heart attack. His nose had already bled a lot. A sight that, really, didn't settle well with her stomach. She trained her eyes away from the splotches on the ground. "Oh! Happy Birthday!" she clapped her hands. "18...do you take over the throne, then?"

Elvis

"Yeah. Probably," he said. "Where else am I supposed to go?"

He had no intentions of going back anytime soon, though. Besides the walk, this girl/dragon seemed interesting. "So, Ayumi. Is there anything else I should know about you or what you do?"

The Queen

The girl's show was amusing, and the Queen smiled.

"Not just yet," she said in response to her question, "It's about something else. I'm sure you are familiar with the story of Raphael? If not, the mythology isn't entirely important. I've been hearing rumors that the Mind Stone is somewhere in my kingdom. I would like it retrieved as soon as possible."

Ayumi thought for a moment. "Do not tell anyone about me. Especially if someone ask." She knew people would be coming after the stone, but only one species knows they exsist. The shadows. That last thin she needed was a shadow to figure out that she has revealed herself to the holder. She started walking back with him to his castle. "When I disappear, just know that I am close by." When he gets inside the castle she will be keeping guard in the shadows. She didn't want the queen to know she was around.

Elvis

So they were walking back now. Elvis sighed. Maybe he could find some way to avoid his mother.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," he told Ayumi with a smile. His eye began to ache as they returned to civilization. Whispers and images flashed behind his eye patch, and he did his best to ignore it. Typically, one would enter through the front gate, but Elvis had always preferred a more direct approach with the least amount of conflict.

"I would advise you to suspend belief momentarily, but you're a dragon so I assume that's hardly necessary." Elvis quipped. He bowed, uttering: "Adieu. Until we meet again," and summoned up a small whirlwind to spiral him upwards to his room balcony.

Inside, the voices got louder, as if amplified. Had he paid more attention, or perhaps cared a little more, Elvis might have picked up a strain of conniving thoughts that would encourage him to leave immediately. However, seeing as his mother was always thinking evilly, Elvis paid no mind to it, and decided instead on a relaxing nap to go over all he had learned from Ayumi.

The Queen

The Queen laughed lightly. "Granted, then, Kumori. When you deliver the stone, there will be a room with your name on it, holding more riches than you can imagine for your picking. Gold, gems, historical artifacts, precious items, what have you. As for the holder...so long as I have the stone, it does not matter. Just retrieve it, no matter what the consequences."

At Kumori's last words, the Queen grew suspicious. She didn't like her son at all, but she wasn't liking how eager this woman was to do away with him. Was there a possible plot to overthrow her? Was this woman part of it?

Never mind. She'd deal with it later. After she had the stone.

"As much as I may wish him gone, the timing is not ideal. It is nearing his birthday, and many of the townspeople are actually fond of him," the Queen said, distaste on her tongue, "If he were suddenly assassinated, the kingdom would be in uproar! No, leave him alive, for now."

Kumori knelt down to the Queen and stood up.
"Thank you your majesty, it was a pleasure working with you." She smiled and started walking towards the exit of the throne room's door. The guards escorted Kumori all the way out to the entrance of the castle.
She turned her heads to the guards who were youthful and good looking.
She gave them a smirk "Thank you." She turned her head, and started walkin towards the woods.

Later that night Kumori hid in the woods all day, she had a stron feeling that the mind stone holder was in the castle. She snuck in through the back window and started wondering through the corridors following the scent of the stone. After a while the scent lead her to an empty bedroom. Was it the princes room? Kumori looked around the room, the scent was strong. Now all she had to do was come later when the prince was present to be sure it was him. She turned into shadow form and hid around the castle.

Ayumi curtsied back to him and watched as he took of to his room. She summoned her axes the two of them appeared in her back holsters. The shined a bright purple color and had blades on either sides. They were quite heavy, but they did the trick. She stayed close to the castle watching both the guards and the forest. She knew how not to be seen and the best places to hide. After all the things she has been through to earn her title she knew exactly how to handle almost any situation.

Ayumi's mind drifted to Elvis. The greeting went a lot smoother than she thought. All the scenarios she planed out didn't match what actually happened. Her biggest fear was he was going to ask about her past. It was the one things she hated talking about. Most people that knew her knew better than to get her talking about her past. Stay on guard Ayumi erased all thoughts of this morning and focused on protecting Elvis.

She was thinking of the safest and quickest way to get inside the castle without being seen, heard, or felt. She has been inside many times, but it was usually real early in the morning while the guards were half asleep. She scaled the walls in silent trying to find a way in.

The coast was clear for Kumori to enter the Prince's room again. She crept inside, the prince was asleep. Kumori swifted into human form and leaned against the wall. She tried to hold in a chuckle. "Well- Well.. what do we have here..the holder of the Mind stone." She said walking towards the resting Prince. She was standing right next to him, he was sleeping so peacefully he didn't even notice the presence of the shadow. Kumori stood there, staring at the boy wondering what should she do next. "Decisions.. decisions.. what shall we do now.. kill you? Or.. take you to the Queen." She whispered, as she chuckled.

A sudden sound came in. Kumori had no time to flee, nor to change form. It was a petite girl, she smelled..like..a reptile. Kumori stepped back not because she was scared, but due to the fact of the strong scent. "May I help you?" Kumori asked the girl who seemed to be confused, the shadow quickly came up with a plan to tell the girl if she started asking questions.

Ayumi found her way into the castle, but so did someone else. The prince was sound alseep and there was a shadow next to the bed as well. A slow growl left her lips. The shadow spoke. "Yes please tell me what you are doing in the prince's room, Shadow." She spat out. She reached for the weapons behind her back to attack when necessary. Not in the mood to fight she thought to herself as she waited for the thing to respond. She needed to wake up Elvis and get him put of the room before he gets hurt. She didn't want him any closer to danger than he already is.

Kumori let out a long cackle. "Why, I am just a servant of the Royal castle miss, I was sent by the Queen to check up on him." A large grin in her face appeared as she raised her eyebrow "What is this shadow you speak of..?" Kumori's eyes looked behind the girls back and saw that she possessed weapons. She knew she had to be sly at this moment in case he would get hurt. A long pause was in the atmosphere, the shadow admitted to hersel she was a bit scared. Quickly she turned her head to the Prince and came with an idea. She ran up to him an clutched his neck around her arm. One more move and I will snap his neck. Kumori used a manipulation trick, it wasn't really her it was just an illusion. Kumori was actually behind the reptile girl.

Ayumi Human Form

Ayumi caught onto the lies pretty quickly. In one swift motion the shadow appeared to be by the prince. Ayumi's ability was creatin illusions so she was pretty skilled at tell the difference between illusion and reality. She chucked one of her giant axes where the illusion was and watched it disappear. Quickly with the other ax she turned around holdig the ax by her the shadows neck. Ayumi smiled. "Very cute." She wouldn't be able to use her illusion ability back on the shadow due to the fact she was able to cause one but she could attempt to make her blind with one touch. "Anything else you would like to try?" She seeme to be taunting the shadow, but whatever works.

Kumori made a gesture for the reptile girl to stop. She placed her hand on her hip as she slide her fingers trough her hair. "Look little girl, I am sent by the Queen to get that stone. Today I'm not really in the mood for games, so I am giving you twenty four hours to leave this kingdom before it gets ugly, alright? Because if you don't leave now the boy will be dead, as in the other option I would love to chase you both out of this kingdom, so that if he dies in this kingdom everyone will be desperate, and you wouldn't want that would you?" Kumori said in a playful tone, but it was true what she said it would make more sense for them to run anyway. Kumori's real plan was to gather all of the holders in once place, and bring them to death. She stepped a side. "So what's it going to be?" She had a foxy look on her face.

Ayumi Human Form

Ayumi kept the ax in position so that she could kill her, but not right up to her neck. Obviously the queen sent her she knew that much, but she wasn't going to let the shadow just get the stone. Her option is either abandoned the prince or stand her ground. Wr third option could hust kill her, but she seemed innocent enough. She is only doing what she is told, but Ayumi is doing what she is supposed to do. Then she was given a time limit. She didn't take very kindly to threats. "How about I give you 2 mins to get out before my ax finds its way through yor neck." Ayumi said put the ax right up tp her neck again. Ayumi was no longer in a position for debate.

Kumori sighed and shook her head, she sighed out the word "Fool." She passed by the petite girl and stood in front of the window gazing outside. She warned the girl one more time without turning her head to aware her. "Look, I wasn't kidding about my warning okay? If I were you, I'd leave this Kingdom. It's very selfish of you if you keep him here. You and him are not the only ones being hunted, out there there's more just like you. You need to realize that you both are in danger." She said warning the girl as she placed her hand on the cold window, "If you leave tonight, I'll come up with a story to tell the Queen so you will be able to escape death tonight." Kumori closed her eyes and disappeared into mist. "Don't say I didn't warn you-" The room turned quiet, it now only consisted of the the girl and the Prince.

Ayumi watched as the shadow left leaving her with the prince. She put her ax in her holster and she grabbed her other one from the wall. She looked down at Elvis and knew they hade to leave. She was hoping she wouldn't have to do this until tomorrow, but he was mistaken. She sat down on the other side of room that contained a chair ad waited for him to awaken. The shadow was going to tell the Queen about her presence. This was going to ruin everything. They had to leave now. But thinking about what the shadow it was weird. She didn't even try and kill her. Not something she was used to. "Elvis! Wake up." She whispered shouted.

Cordelia

Another secret passage? Though they way she came in wasn't really secret. Just unconventional.

"Okay!" she agreed, rolling the sleeves of the larger overcoat up. She followed after Mizu until they arrived at his room. It was large, princely, elaborate. And she loved it. "Wow! This is all to yourself?" she asked, spinning around, "Man, even if you don't get the throne, being prince has its perks!"

She flounced onto the bed and clasped her hands together sweetly, "So, did you want to talk to me?"

Elvis

He had actually woken up in the middle of the two fighting, but didn't move a muscle. He was pretty good at that, actually. Came in handy out in public, when he wanted to eavesdrop.

What had woken him was the stone itself, burning brightly as images flashed behind the eyepatch, giving him a headache. His nap wasn't exactly restful either. Bad dreams had been beginning to take flight just before he woke.

He listened to the stranger's words. The Queen sent her? His mother? For the stone...this stone that was plaguing him. The one he had ironically named after his mother. And when it seemed like she had trumped Ayumi, she....let her go? Both of them? Why?

Elvis knew. The Kingdom would be in uproar if he was killed tonight. If he was killed at all in a suspicious manner, especially so close to his birthday. It was probably the only reason why his mother hadn't poisoned him at all. His death would have to be tragic, while he still was king, so that mama could swoop in after, weeping about how 'proud' she was, and 'reluctantly' taking back the throne.

And then there was the stranger herself. She could have just let them stay, but she advised them to leave. Almost ordered it. She wanted the thrill of the chase. To draw it out. Make things more interesting. Have more freedom, away from the controlling queen. It was understandable. That was what he wanted to, ultimately. Freedom.

He rolled over slowly when Ayumi hissed at him to wake up, opening his eyes slowly to make it look as if he had just woken up. "What's going on?"

Ayumi Human Form

"We need to leave. Right now." Ayumi ordered. Elvis was awake now and ready to move. She knew that his birthday is soon, but they needed to leave before more people come after him and the stone. The Shadow was more than enough she could handle. She stood next to the window making sure no one wanted to check out the ruckus from the Prince's room. When Ayumi deemed it clear her focus went back to Elvis. "People are trying to kill you for the burden you carry. If we don't leave soon, we will be fighting an army." Ayumi wasn't exaggerating. If the Queen wanted her son dead, she could get just about anyone to do so. And it won't just be the Queen who wants the stones.

Ayumi took the rubber band out of her hair and let it fall to her shoulders. She didn't like it up. She had it up to meet Elvis and she kept it up to fight, but now she was letting it free. She placed the rubber band on her wrist for later and her purple hair tickled the back of her neck. "Oh and you might also want to bring weapons." She added knowing that she wasn't going to fight alone.
