Yui Kuroshio

Alias: The Silent Shadow
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Current Class: A Class, but aspires to be the strongest S Class Mage in Storm Shield
Guild Crest Location: On the left side of her stomach

Magic Type:
Shadow Magic, this magic allows the user to bend their own shadow for various purposes, such as offense and defence, a skilled user can merge with their shadow and the shadows of others, giving them the element of surprise

Magic Abilities:
Shadow Control - Yui can manipulate her own, or the people around her's, shadows to do a regular attack
Shadow Fist - Yui uses her shadow to strike her opponent with a powerful blow that is stronger than her regular attacks
Shadow Shield - Yui lifts her shadow up to protect her from any incoming attacks, this shield can be extended to protect more, but the more it is extended the more weak the shield becomes
Dark Abyss - Yui covers the surrounding area in shadow causing enemies and allies alike to be unable to see
Shadow Stiches - Yui causes her opponent to be immobilized, while she is using this technique, she cannot move either. Yui can use this ability on herself so she cannot be moved
Shadow Grapple - Yui can throw a shadow to grab onto terrain or an object, pulling the object to her, or pulling her to the terrain

The Piercing Shadows - Yui's strongest attack, she makes her shadow split up into a bunch of sharp appendages, then extends them to hopefully pierce through her opponent

Magic Weaknesses:
Merging with a shadow does not make the user invulnerable, the shadow that the user has merged with can be cut or struck if the attacker knows which shadow the user has merged with

Character Strengths:
Yui is very skilled with her magic and the art of stealth, she can walk or run without making a sound, and can quiet her breathing to a point where it seems nonexistent

Character Weaknesses:
Yui is helpless when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, the only thing Yui can do when someone gets close is to attempt to push them back with her magic

Appearance:
Yui's magic is shadow magic, and her looks show that, she has long black hair and all of her clothes are black or white, the only colour in her looks are her blue eyes and blue tie. She stands at 5'6".

Image

Personality:
Yui doesn't speak much to strangers, and it takes a while to get her to warm up to anyone she doesn't know. Even if she is talking with her friends, when she is front of strangers, she mumbles and tries to make sure that no one can hear her but the person she is talking to. Because of this, Yui can't go on solo quests and has to be with someone she trusts or else she can't communicate properly with the client. But if she is alone with her friends, she is very talkative, loud and rowdy, and this usually surprises people that she has just become friends with. The only other time she would speak is if she was extremely angry.

History:
Yui grew up in a small city on the coast with her parents as an only child. She was very sheltered and never left the city she grew up in. Until one day when she was twelve, a few older boys were bullying her when out of nowhere a man showed up, scared them off with a little display of shadow magic, and then left with a small smile towards Yui. After that day, Yui wanted to learn magic with a burning passion. A year and a half passed, and Yui was in the city marketplace when she saw the same man who had scared the bullies away. She walked up to him and quietly asked him if he could teach her magic, to which he told her yes, much to Yui's delight. Two years passed and the man left, leaving Yui with his teachings. Ever since then Yui has practiced her magic so she could be as strong as possible.

Why Yui joined Storm Shield:
After leaving her home when she was 17, Yui set out to join a guild and make a name for herself. It took nearly a whole year of traveling, and Yui was on the verge of giving up and going home. Then Yui stumbled into Storm Shield after two days of straight walking and no sleep, she basically fell into the guild, mistaking it for an inn. When she woke up, she realized she had made a mistake, and that she was in a guild, a mages' guild. She immediately tried to join, which ended in success, and she has been a loyal member of Storm shield ever since she was eighteen.

So begins...

Yui Kuroshio

Yui was sitting at a dark table near a corner of the guild hall, watching all the goings on around the guild. In her hands was a small shadow she was playing with absentmindedly. Yui watched the new girl as she spoke to the guild master, chewing on what Yui thought was some sort of candy. Then suddenly Tatsuo barged in the guild hall, that stubborn ass, and proceeded to beat up a bunch of people just because he's insecure. 'I swear, Tatsuo is gonna kill someone eventually' Yui thought to herself.

Yui's attention shifted back to the girl talking to the guild master, something about her seemed strange and Yui's curiosity got the better of her. No one noticed as Yui melded into the shadow on the wall behind her, and slowly moved across the room towards the guild master and the new girl. Of course Yui could have just walked up to them both to see what was going on, but that would involve speaking to someone Yui didn't know, and that wouldn't go as well. Finally she had made it close enough to hear, but hopefully far enough to not be noticed, considering she was just a shadow on the floor at that point.

Fadil sighed as he looked at his guildmaster, and then to the other mages around them. Why must he always be the adult? 'Wood Dragon-Slayer? Another Dragon-Slayer?' He thought as he watched the new girl, this Kamiki Naruno demonstrate her abilities. "Valerie is our guildmaster." Fadil said in his deep, monotone voice as he pointed out Valerie before them. He glanced over at Tatsuo who was listening in on them. While he was thinking about informing her about Tatsuo, he figured that telling her about him isn't his place. He looked behind him to see Rin waiting to give her cut to Val.

Fadil took the bag of jewel from her, and grabbed his bag. He turned towards the stairs, and started to take the bags upstairs for Val to deal with later. But he was stopped by Oliver who was shoving a bunch of papers in his face. Fadil groaned, and rolled his eyes. He looked over her request of a job. He then looked at her and back at the request. "Alone?" He asked. "Very well. But I suggest taking someone else along. There's Rin, Isis, Syfer, and.....Tatsuo here." Fadil stated.

"And Yui who's hiding in the shadows." He knew his guildmates well enough to know their mannerisms, that and he saw her when he came in, and now she isn't there anymore. He walked on by her, and went upstairs to drop off the bags of jewel. Once he tossed them in Val's room. He returned downstairs, and took his place behind Valerie.

He leaned down beside her, and softly whispered into ear as not to bother her hangover. "It'd probably be a good idea to allow her to join. Given how rare Dragon Slayers are, and since we already have one. Hopefully this one is more.....tamed."

Tatsuo glared over at Fadil, he could faintly hear them him talking to Valerie about him. He stared over at the wood dragon slayer, trying to figure her out. He was wondering if she was a dragon slayer in the same vain as him, or did she actually learn it. He was tempted to go over and confront her about it, but it'd probably be a bad idea. Maybe just avoid her? Doubtful, but it never hurts try.

Well, he can't sit there, and do nothing all day. He could, but that would be boring. Tatsuo took his feet off the table, and got up. He went over to the job board to find something to do. He scratched his chin as he looked over the jobs. He was looking for the toughest, and most dangerous job on the board. His eyes kept glancing over at Kamiki, he tried his best not to, but he was just too curious about her.

Yui Kuroshio

Yui, upon being noticed by Fadil, emerged from her shadow and walked away, no more information useful to her could be gained from sticking around. Another dragon slayer... Huh. Yui thought to herself. As she walked back to her previous seat she couldn't help but overhear Syfer and Oliver talking about the dragon problem job. Yui hadn't taken a job for a while, so she was a bit low on funds. A job would be the most necessary course of action, Yui was hesitant to take one on alone due to her speach problem.

Walking up behind Oliver, Yui tapped her on the shoulder "Uhhh... Hello, I um, couldn't help but hear about... That dragon job... And I um.. Was wondering if, um, I could... Maybe, um.... Come with you?" Yui said, attempting to muster up all the nerve she had to speak. Of course, if Oliver didn't let Yui come with along, than Yui would have to go on a job solo, and that might not be the best option for her. So this dragon job might be the best (and only) option for Yui's future.

Oliver Laece
{Storm Shield Guild Hall}

No, it's quite alright. You don't have to play along, 'S-class asshole'. Though Oliver was streetwise enough to not voice that particular quip, it wasn't like he knew anyone was going to ask for a boon. Favour for a favour, I suppose. Oh, right... She should probably discuss the share ratios when out of Valerie's blast-radius, an act which Syfer coincidentally had in common with Oliver. A rare treat.

'Scared of the she-Hulk, ha.' She snickered, face and body language morphing from the hesitant maybe scram it while the opportunity is there into less like the suggestion was a terrible idea. Still not comfortable enough to feel like she could let her guard down, that would prove unwise given the chance.

An eyebrow involuntarily arched up. 'What's with S-class and teamwork anyway?' Some kind of prerequisite to ask one on a date? She hoped not... Oliver was astonished that she asked someone at all, let alone take the soapbox and invite the whole Burger King kids club over for dinner at mommy's house.

Then it dawned on a pesky little mouse to interrupt the awkward chatter, in which case Oliver pretended the younger girl had accidentally brushed against the older woman's shoulder – easier to avoid entertaining the small-fries – which conveys the typical 'fuck off' pretty well. Then the mouse began to peep, prompting apathy incarnate to shift its focus; Head turned to catch the child in peripheral vision and a hand nonchalantly brushing strands of platinum from a listening ear (real clever shy-girl).

In the end, well. Oliver wasn't exactly looking forward to bro-ing it up with two people, 'twos company, threes crowd' A third wheel on the wagon would only complicate matters. The deliberating, thought? Well down to dirt she didn't really care, but began to itch to bark shit for no justifiable reason. Being offered company always made her a bit antsy to be around that person, not that anything was out of the ordinary. Heck, little mouse looked even less at ease. She just liked the extra insurance of appearances (less people willing to mess, or even look at, a girl with a tendency to bite).

Ah, if she already gunned for a less threatening impression she may as well keep that up for the span of one conversation, right? Oliver settled on an eerie silence instead, in which she hastily recalled the mouse's name to be Yui. Clearly breaking the boundaries of complexity.

Right, she should probably answer the question from the shy girl (and probably start taking her seriously, yes)-- “Looking for a ticket out, eh? I've got no reason to stop you, figure someone like you might come in handy for this little magic trio.” She paused, thought for a second. “And, you know. People.” Probably won't hurt the group, much. Oliver wasn't planning to play babysitter however, so this one had to save their own hide unless the punk-rock reject was willing to be mother bear.

With matters handled to an awkward extend, Oliver settled for fidgeting with some non-existent dust in her pockets. A silent groan as she navigated to the nearest exit and hoped they'd follow suit. Or not. A tempting wish still.

Tatsuo's eyes widened as Isis talked to him about this new dragon slayer. 'Is she saying I'm weak or something?!' was the only thought in his head. He repeated her words over, and over. And to his insecure mind she was basically saying that she's the better dragon slayer then him. The more he thought about it, the more looked too much into her words. 'She's a damn Celestial Mage! What does she know about fighting! I can eat rocks like they're biscuits!' He thought to reassure himself. He then turned to her to respond, but she was gone.

Tatsuo marched over to the woman, pissed beyond reason. "Hey Keychain! You trying to say she's better then me?! I'm the goddamn Komodo, the best damn wizard in this joint!" Tatsuo asserted, not caring who heard. "You don't know a thing about fighting! You're just a Celestial Mage! You send your ghost thingamajigs to fight your battles." Tatsuo stated to get a rise out of her. "You want me to say something?! I'll say something so hard that it'll rip the goddamn walls off!" Tatsuo growled, as if he was challenged.

He turned around to face the other dragon slayer, with unreasonable anger swelling up. He marched over to the table, and slammed his hand loudly on the table. "What the hell you old harpy?! You trying to replace me or somethin'?" Tatsuo asked Valerie. "One incredibly badass Dragon Slayer ain't enough for you? You've got to have a useless one for what, kicks? She uses wood for god's sake! How useful can that be?!"

Fadil stepped forward, towering over the Earth Dragon Slayer. He gave him a combo of a glare, and snarl, one that said 'Back off'. Tatsuo returned the favor with a snarl of his own. "Whatever! I'm need something to punch!" Tatsuo growled before he turned away. Then the soft voice saying 'Dragon' reached across his ears. He turned to see several mages gathered at a table.

He strolled over there, and glanced over to see a job request that said 'Dragon'. A sly grin crept across his face. 'Perfect.' Tatsuo yanked the flier away from them without warning. "Huh....probably just a Wyvern or some crap. Might as well go beat the tar out of it." Tatsuo proclaimed. "Thanks, I got this! It's better to leave this to the GOOD wizards. Well, that'd just be me huh?" Tatsuo boasted. This'll show them who's the best Dragon Slayer!'

Syfer rolled his eyes as Tatsuo grabbed the paper away, preferring not to engage the dragon slayer. After all, he had just gotten over one headache, so why get another? He turned his eyes to the girl called Yui, his blacked out eyes with red iris' looking the girl over. "Don't worry, quiet one. This should be no problem. Now, I suggest we leave before the needlessly serious one grows impatient." Syfer walked toward the exit, using various objects he found along the way to hide out of Valerie's view. He made it to the exit and took a heavy sigh of relief. He looked at Oliver with a smirk on his face. "You know, the tough girl, 'I don't care what you think' mentality will only get you so far. A little empathy here and there can do wonders." Syfer shrugged as he walked past her and out of the guild. "Or maybe you prefer the distance. Of course, all that gets you in the long run is a lonely fight."

He looked back, his red iris visible out of his peripheral, his normally indifferent expression bearing something far more cold and callous. "We've never worked together so I might just be making assumptions. But, if this is above your heads and you abandon anyone out there, don't bother coming back here. There's enough guilds out there with those just looking out for themselves." Syfer smiled and his expression changed. "Well, let's be off. Since you out this merry band together I believe that dictates you will be the leader. Yui?! Let's go, we might need your slaying." Syfer chose to ignore Tatsuo, slightly hoping the loud one would divert his attention to another job.

Yui Kuroshio

Yui glared angrily at Tatsuo for a moment, appaled at his extreme overreaction to the whole 'new dragon slayer' buisiness. As much as she didn't want to admit it, it would prove difficult to replace that loudmouth, as much as Yui sometimes wish they would. Still, most of his claims were just him spewing out nonsense like verbal diahrea, and worse, most of what he said was egotistical and just plain ignorant. 'Sure you're the best wizard, it's not like anyone here could beat the crap out of the great Tatsuo' Yui thought sarcastically. She didn't know what it was, but he just pissed her off.

Yui's attention shifted to Syfer as he called her name. Her anger left as Tatsuo shifted to the back of her mind, and it fully dawned on her that she was actually going on a job, with other people! She rushed over to Syfer and smiled, sure, maybe Oliver was a bit on the apathetic side, but Syfer seemed nice enough. Yui just hoped that Tatsuo wasn't serious about coming along 'I don't think I could take it if that idiot came along' Yui thought as she caught up with Oliver and Syfer.

In the incompetence to not let anger get the better of rational judgement, maybe it wasn't the best decision to trample over several people who'd break your arm with one hand if given reason. Now, this kid had a trying day already; Gaining near centre of attention only second to the blockhead proclaiming 'King of the Hill'-status.

Adding theft of her group's property to the growing list of negatives hadn't exactly done favours for the afternoon, but on a one to ten scale this was perhaps paling by comparison to everything else. Or Oliver's disinterest combined with all the little annoyances had made this day come full circle – Like, maybe this got blown out of proportions it's difficult not to laugh at the hardships that followed when she was ultimately the butt-end of someone else's insecurities (and not even kindly thanked for the help, the upstart cunt)'Fuck it. Might as well make the most of this.', apparently. Somehow the realisation had amused her, when she offhandedly decided to stick around for hilarity's sake. It certainly beats flicking cashew nuts at people, because Oliver was rather desperate if nothing else at present and mindless acts seemed to become increasingly enticing.

Right, right. Job to do, and it probably didn't come over too well that Oliver was dawdling in her walk, which led to creeper boy (freak more like) beating her to the punch and tossing out some half-hearted threat. 'Harr bloody harr...' There was a dragged out sarcasm ringing in the back of her head, like Monster Inc. was in the position to be pre-judging. Although Oliver had to stifle a laugh when she was asked to be the pack leader almost immediately after fairly grounded accusations.

“Says the one with an S on his forehead.” Well, metaphorical 'S' for stupid. “Besides, the angry midget's got our flyer now.” Her eyes callously went to the half-pint having a warm reunion with his magic-twin, and for a moment Oliver's thoughts drifted off into several unpleasant scenarios.

Deciding that she could as well add to the pile of extraneous side-kicks (you can never have enough meatshields, amirite?), Oliver placed a foot between the two dragon slayers and deftly yanked the flyer out of minuscule hands. A cold stare glanced at the much shorter boy before promptly offering; “Hey, shorty,” Adding fuel, are we? “Is your girlfriend joining us, or do you need a moment to say goodbye?”

Tatsuo was caught off guard by the new dragon slayer as she grabbed his arm, and started jumping up, and down. 'What the hell? Is she a dragon slayer, or a rabbit slayer?' Tatsuo thought to himself, noting her hyperactive nature. "Get off me you weirdo!" Tatsuo ordered. When she finally stopped she began talking about her dragon, which she seemed sad about. 'Well, she is the real deal.' He started to become nervous, he wasn't sure if she was going to start crying or what. He's not quite sure that he could deal with that.

'Crap, what was the dragon's name? It started with a R didn't it?' Tatsuo pondered within his mind about the name he gave his fake dragon daddy. "Um...I'm a Earth Dragon Slayer.....uh.....my dragon's name was Rocirus." Tatsuo stated as he ran his fingers through his hair. What was he going to do if she got into the guild? He can't keep up this lie forever, and with her being a true dragon slayer he doubts that she'll let him be. "He....uh....disappeared a couple years ago." Tatsuo said, obviously uncomfortable with this subject. "Look, just drop it ok? I don't know a thing about this Botanurus." Tatsuo growled, trying to be as un-Tatsuo as he could. He had no clue why he's trying to be nice to her, maybe because she's a dragon slayer as well? Who knows.

They were then interrupted by Oliver. Tatsuo's face turned red when she called Kamiki his girlfriend, but soon it boiled over with rage when he realized she called him Shorty. "Watch your goddamn mouth! I've slapped a bitch for less!" He snarled with a special amount of anger. He was already unhappy about this new dragon slayer, and with her calling him short was just icing on the insecure cake.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Tatsuo made sure to point out as he retook the flyer. He had to make sure they wouldn't leave him behind. "I gotta make sure you guys aren't dumb enough to leave behind the best wizard here, rookie. And she's NOT coming! She's not a member of the guild!" He added as he gave Oliver an angry shoulder bump as he walked past her, and making sure she remembered that he was a class ahead of her. "Let's go Butch." He ordered, obviously referencing the fact she goes by a boy's name.

He walked past the other two, and towards the exit. "Let's go lackeys!" Tatsuo demanded. To add a bit more flare he punched a hole in the wall next to the door. "NOW!"

{Valerie Krone}
Location: Storm Shield

Valerie practically had flames coming out her nostrils when Tatsuo slammed a fist down on her table. Calling her an Old Harpy was the tip of the iceberg.

"I'd replace you in a heartbeat you gobby little brat!" she growled. The young dragon slayer wasn't listening apparently though as he turned his back on her and stalked off. Valerie lent heavily over the table and opened her mouth to spew an array of obscenities after him for turning his back on her but Isis had already hoped into his grave. Valerie slowly sat back in her seat, took a deep breath and smoothed back her hair.

She turned her eyes on Isis after another guild member brought her a coffee as a peace offering. Valerie wasn't ignorant to how sticky and poisonous Isis could be. "Perhaps if you stopped spinning your malevolent webs around him he wouldn't be half as bad love" she replied in her softest passive-aggressive tone. She even put a sticky sweet smile at the end. "Now run along and make some money."

The mention of money caused Valerie to remind herself of something that instantly sent her blood pressure through the roof. Her sharp eyes darted past Isis to the other members buzzing around the guild.

"Syfer!" she called out. "I know you're in here!"

She quickly sort out the individual she was looking for as he tried to hide pathetically. It made her blood boil even more. Was he sneaking out again? She stood from her seat and moved around her desk. "I've got a bone to pick with you!"

Guild members were quickly parting way for her as the raging Guild Master stomped towards the group Syfer was hiding among. He was saved by the crash however when Tatsuo decided to use the wall right next to the door as an exit. Her mouth gaped open as she laid eyes on the damage. The coffee cup in her hand shattered from an angry squeeze. "TATSUO!!!!"

Almost as if something otherworldly was pushing her to the very edge, the Wood Dragon Slayer popped up in front of her once again rambling on about the taste of tree bark. Valerie pushed a palm again her pulsing temple and closed her eyes. "Yes! You can join the guild. Just. Stop. Talking."

{Maris Monroe}
Location: Approaching Storm Shield.

Through the haze of late morning activities in the town market walked another member of Storm Shield. Slowly, members of the Guild had been filling up the town to the point where the locals actually began to notice. Some whispered of Storm Shields recent epic fails as the particular member walked by. A few others townsfolk pleasantly waved and the odd few swooned.

She was sporting her usual get up and most went a little gaga over a spot of bare flesh. Of course her entire midriff was on show along with miles of leg. Drool and disapproving looks were something she was accustom to thanks to her preferred style. Not many could do what she does in a floor length frock.

Maris waved and nodded at everyone all the same as she swaggered through town like she owned it. The attention grabbing hammer that had received its fair share of gossip rested heavily upon one of the blond's petite shoulders.
Another job complete through sheer clobbering, Maris hadn't intended to crush her opponents but sometimes she was heavy handed. At least she had taken the time to visit the gang of small time mages and ex-thieves in hospital with some flowers in hand. Part of her said not to bother, after all it was their fault they were in such a predicament, pretending to be a mystical monster of the village lore in order to rob and steal. Despicable.

She paused to buy an apple before continuing down the lane that led to the beat up old guild she belonged to. It was embarrassing returning to the shabby shack of a building, she would have hoped one of the ten wizard saints would have better taste in architecture and maybe a bit of money to spare but that was before she actually met Valerie. Stingy tight wad of a woman with a love of booze and gambling.

As she approached the guild Maris pulled her hood off just to double check there really were two doorways now. Yes and no, someone had bashed a hole in the wall and she didn't need three guesses to know who as Tatsuo and an odd match up of mages exited the guild hall.

"What have you done now you idiot? Maris mused as she swung her hammer round once. Her bright blue eyes took in the other faces lagging behind the dragon slayer and wondered what kind of job had brought them all together. Not one she wanted to be involved in that was for sure. What could be worse? A suspiciously reserved celestial mage, a loud mouth and a cynical laze who would sooner sell her own mother then think about another before herself. Oh and then there was Syfer.

Maris tucked a piece of her blond hair behind her ear and smirked. "Well this is a match-up from hell. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the lot of you came back in a match box" she teased whilst sauntering past into the guild using the contemporary door.

Standing in the rubble of the pre-existing wall Maris swung her hammer down onto the floor and held her hands up into the air dramatically. "Baby I'm home!" she called out.

A sly grin crossed Tatsuo's face when he heard Valerie angrily scream his name. He'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy making her angry. And then came another smart ass bitch to yell at him today. This time in the form of Maris. "Bite me Gobby." Tatsuo growled at her. "No ones going to die! So long as they don't get in my way." Tatsuo stated as he folded his arms behind his head. And then came a rookie of the guild, he didn't quite know who she was, nor did he particularly care. He looked at her when she started talking about it not being her day, and how he pissed off Valerie.

Tatsuo just rolled his eyes. "Earth Dragon Wall!" Tatsuo shouted, and then he stomped on the ground, and summoned a large wall of earth. He jumped up, and gave a powerful round house kick that sent it towards the gapping hole in the guild. The wall hit Maris lightly, just enough to knock her down, no more then a push. The wall covered up the makeshift door(though it did break some of the edges of the hole so it could fit). "There you old bat! It's fixed!" Tatsuo shouted into the guild. "Your welcome!" He added.

"There you go Rook! Don't thank me all at once." He smirked towards the green haired girl, and ruffled her hair. Tatsuo turned back to his patch job, and dug his fist into it, and took a chunk of rock out of it. "Alright lackeys let's go! Ass isn't going to kick itself!" He ordered as he took a huge bite out of the rock, and slowly began chewing it as he led the way forward.

Fadil just sighed at all the commotion that was happening, and mentally face palmed. 'Why am I the only adult here?' He wondered. He looked behind him to see Rin, and the latest recruit. He saw that Rin was holding a piece of paper, obviously a job request. He yanked the paper out of Rin's hands, and took a look at it. He then looked at the two girls, and back to the paper. "Very well. Show Kamiki around as well." He ordered. While he known that Rin preferred to be alone, she was the first guildmember in sight, and he had to make sure Valerie doesn't kill anyone. So he has to pawn the girl off on her.

Fadil went over to Valerie, and placed his hand on her shoulder to hopefully comfort her. "He is gone, no use to take your anger out on the others." He whispered in her ear. He took his hand off her shoulder, and gave her a light pat on the back as he walked over to the bar, and grabbed himself a plain glass of water to drink.

Yui Kuroshio

Yui could stand Tatsuo being an asshole to everyone, and she could stand some of his smart-ass comments. But what she couldn't stand was the fact that she was being called a lackey. I'm no one's lackey, I don't take orders from him! Just who does he think he is! Yui clenched her fists as her anger sparked up. If anything, he should be taking orders himself! Not giving them! He was the one who just barged in on this job! Yui kept on getting more and more angry towards Tatsuo, though she didn't outright punch him, even though she really wanted to. This should've been a regular job with people who weren't blatant asshats and actually kind of nice. But Tatsuo had ruined any chance of that happening.

Yui couldn't just stand there and think about it, if she wanted anything to change she had to do something. So, mustering up all of her willpower, she walked up behind Tatsuo, tapped him on the shoulder and said "Um.. Tatsuo... you're umm... an... asshole..." There! She had said something, even if it did come off as super pathetic because she could barely speak loud enough to hear. It was a step in the right direction at least. Yui could only hope that Tatsuo had actually heard her.

Katsumi "Kat" Koromura

"Just let it all out mate" Katsumi said as she cast a sound warp on Tatsuo, to prevent everyone from having to listen to his rant, and put her arm around him. As much as she liked it rough, Tatsuo ruffling her hair suddenly still f***in' pissed her of a little, but no use in burning bridges. "Jeez he must've had a lot of pent up anger and frustration to be this pissed about someone replacing the f***in' wall" Katsumi thought to herself. She noticed a girl a who looked a couple of years younger than her with black hair giving her this weird look and to that Kat started grinning. By this time Tatsuo had calmed down a bit so Katsumi stood up and walked toward the guildhall. She turned toward Tatsuo "If you need anything else just ask, but we'll have to go to your place." She winked, made a provocative gesture and slipped into the guild hall.

"Hey Miss Krone, I have a small problem." The guild master looked at her and simply said "what." "well long story short, there is no cut for the guild from that last job I went on." Valerie nearly exploded screaming "Why!" "I didn't get f***ing paid! 'Cause apparently finding the girl your looking for, dead in a f***in' dumpster doesn't count as completing the job! And not only that, I got evicted yesterday! So I'm kinda tight on cash at the moment." "well then go get a job request and make some money!" Valerie said. "Yes ma'am!" Katsumi said and walked to the bar with what little money she had left.
