Introduction
Every person in the room was in cloaks which covered their form, not exposing anything but their faces, neck, and hair. They came in a small variety of colors. It varied from black to gray. People sat in certain groups based off of age. The children and teenagers were in a color of pure black, as black as the devil's soul. The adults wore a black as well, although it was a lighter shade and just a bit off from a dark smoky color. The elders all wore a light shade of gray, almost blending into their aged skin. And why were they dressed this way? Well, it was to represent their depravity. Children were the most sinful with no sense of direction, being 'unclean' and unpurified. The adults wore a lighter shade of black because in time they had become a bit cleaner, however they still carried some of their sinful nature. The elders were in gray to say they were the most clean, but they still carried a small portion of their wickedness.
As soon as light footsteps were heard, the crowd instantly became hushed, eyes shifting to the altar. A woman decked out in off-white stood, her arms spreading out as the fabric at the end of her sleeves swooped down, making it appear like wings. "My children," she said with ease, her gray eyes sparkling with passion. "I welcome you today for 'The Cleansing'. Let loose the sinners." Two people completely clothed in silky ebony robes. "Disrobe," the woman said kindly, handing each of them an atramentous towel.
Each slid off their robes and wrapped their nude skin in the towels. She grabbed some ink and dipped her fingers in, drawing what could only be transmutation circles on their backs."By the power of Ocopite, I claim these souls shall be cleansed!" Gray-colored sparks flew around from the alchemic reaction, the woman named Corliss twisting and mending their souls as they shrieked in agony. Soon after, they fell to the ground, no pulse in their hearts.
Corliss bent down to each, checking the pulse and breathing that had just stopped. "Ocopite has claimed these vile souls unworthy…"

Once his automail was broken, Edward again had to return to his mechanic, dragging Alphonse along with him.
This being said, they were unable to get any infommation from Colonel Mustang. In a small town in the desert region of Amestris named Angkor, many deaths have been occuring. Roy Mustang is trying to find a way to stop the deaths without having to contact the Elric brothers (who are in Resembool), but he already has so many cases on his plate, and will probably end up giving them the case anyway. Does that clear it up, or do you need more information? If so, what do you need to know?
