Disabilities are difficult to cope with depending on the severity of the disability. Some with milder disabilities have it easier to cope with them and integrate into society. However some may have disabilities that make it very hard or almost impossible to live a normal life. Luckily there are services that can ease their lives somewhat such as therapy, prosthesis (for amputees etc.), care homes and an assistant. Silverville Life Complex is a so called care home. It is an apartment complex with an in-home physician and psychiatrist, a couple helpers/assistants and individual apartments for its tenants. This is a story about the struggles of the tenants and the small community they form within the complex.

Silverville Life Complex: A care home for disabled persons who cannot live a normal life. It features 32 apartments, one for each tenant. A standard apartment consists of two rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a balcony. Some apartments have bathrooms adapted for the needs of the physically handicapped such as railings alongside the wall, a wheelchair accessable shower and a low sink. Other facilities within the complex are a fitness center, a small swimming pool, a doctors office, therapy rooms, recreation rooms, an outside soccer field, a lounge for assistants and a shared kitchen with a dining hall. All tenants call freely exit the apartment complex, however certain tenants can only leave with an assistant depending on their disabilities.

The area: The Silverville area features a small town with fields and woods. In town there is a supermarket, a handful of cafes and restaurants, a post office, a train station, two nightclubs and a rentable event hall. Some other stores exist too. Otherwise it is about an hour by train to the nearest city (about 70 miles or 120 km).
