Personality: Subject 45 is generally calm. She has a strong sense of right and wrong and doesn't like to see someone suffer unfairly. When scientists do experiments on her she tries to withstand and overcome the challenges. When that doesn't work she counts to six over and over to try to get her mind off things. She doesn't like being locked up and likes interacting with other subjects.
Background story: Subject 45 was born a mutant to normal parents. She was kept her power a secret since she was brought up to believe mutants were bad. As one could imagine, this led to her questioning herself. Was she an evil creature just because she could turn into a bat? She didn't think so but wasn't sure. Subject 45 read in a book that it wasn't what you were but who you were and the choices that you made that made you the kind of person you were. With this in mind she told her parents of her powers, incorrectly thinking they would embrace her differences and confidence in who and what she was. They did not. Subject 45's parents called in the Anti-Mutation Squad and she got put into the testing center. In the following years she lived knowing no other name than Subject 45 and the terrible fact of being sent away by her parents to a testing facility.
