*Bang*
Subject 25 suddenly heard an explosion behind her and she immediately turned around getting herself ready for a fight as she did so but once she turned around she could only see Alice. It seemed like Alice was just playing around a bit with her dolls so subject 25 just turned around again and took a closer look at the map again. She was searching for the best but still the fastest way to go to one of the cities while suddenly a little doll appeared in subject 25's vision. IT looked exactly the same as Alice so it wasn't hard to guess who it was from. The power Alice had surely been interesting but subject 25 had to concentrate on the map. "So... Have you decided where we're gonna go?" Alice asked subject 25 while she just had found the perfect way to get to one of the cities. "Yea look here." Subject 25 said while she placed her finger on the route they were going to take. The ending of the route was the city which was closest to the forest. "If we take this route we should get there even before night" subject 25 said convinced. "What do you think? Are you ready to go?" Subject 25 asked Alice. Finally subject 25 would be able to kill a lot of people again.
(This actually happened in the past or else the posts wouldn't really fit anymore. Andrew and Mitch were brought back in the lab after subject 25 and Alice left for the city. They never even saw the team escorting Andrew and Mitch back to the lab or else it wouldn't really make any sense.)

"May I call you Alice?" Dorian asked subject 89 and she was quite shocked to hear that name from someone else again. It was painful but at the same time it also made subject 89 happy. "Deri, have you met Alice?" He asked to someone named Deri. "Alice this is Derivare but everyone calls him Deri. Dorian said to Alice helping her to get in a conversation. "No, I haven’t." The person called Deri answered Dorian but after he did so he smiled at her and held out his hand. "Hi, I’m Derivare but Deri for short." Deri was still smiling and this was very strange for subject 89. Never before it happened that someone else then her deceased partner was so nice to her. This made subject 89 really unsure. Carefully she brought her hand to Deri's before she carefully started shaking it. "He- Hello." Subject 89 wasn't able to say more. She was too scared to open up just yet.

Dr.Mayu woke up again in what seemed to be a medical tent. She had been treated and had woken up shortly after what had happened. It looked like there had arrived more reinforcement and that a small group had taken the mutant and traitor back to the lab. Too bad actually. Dr.Mayu would surely have loved it if she could torture those 2 a little more. But there were more important things to do now. First of all Dr.Mayu had to wake Emma up and after doing that she had to continue to look for the other escaped mutants. Dr.Mayu was sure that those weren't that far from where she was. Maybe it was best to go and take a look in the city. But then again Dr.Mayu was pretty sure that those foolish mutants would want to stick to this place where there weren't too many humans. Yes she was sure there would still be a lot of mutants in this forest. It was only a matter of time before she would find them and once she does she is going to make them regret ever thinking about the outside.
She touched the gems together, and her vision flashed. If she weren't used to the flash, she would've thought that she was blacking out. The light subsided, and her rings rested in her hands. Oddly enough, there was an added piece to the rings: each ring had a new, smaller gem set onto the opposite side of the ring. Both were a purple amethyst. She sat down on the bed. Curious, she touched the two new gems together. Her vision flashed.
When her vision came back, resting in her hands was a single sword. The blade reflected a brilliant purple glow, and a fairly large amethyst was set into the pommel, but both rings were gone, so she had no way of restoring her rings. She stood up, and a purple gem fell from her leg. She scooped it up. Unsure, she touched it to the pommel, and her vision flashed. When it came back, both rings had returned, and the new gem was still present. She dug into her pocket, pulling out a plain metal chain. It had an open socketed attachment on it that looked big enough to fit the gem. Emma fit the gem into the socket, which fit the gem perfectly. Emma put the necklace and rings on, and took a moment to better scan her surroundings.
She was inside of a tent. She walked over to the tent flap and stepped out. She was greeted by bright sunlight and a view of the forest. How long had she been out? Had Mayu captured the other mutants? Was she alive? Emma's last question was answered as Mayu stepped out of another tent. Emma walked over to her.
"Mayu! Are you ok?"
While they walked, Alice had been reading her Grimoire. Starting on chapter two, titled "Sky of the Stormlord", which was written as a series of diary entries rather than a biography. The person writing it was of coarse the current holder of the Grimoire, a 14 year old boy named Kyle who apparently inherited Mach's ability to control electricity from chapter one. Set only about 13 days after Mach's tragic death, who's death wasn't stated in the Grimoire, Kyle practiced his abilities to control the weather patterns into the favor of those in his village. Being the generous person he was, he used his power to bring rainfalls year after year to bring in high yield harvests. Kyle also wrote in the diary a very detailed explanation of how he was able to control the weather. Since doing this was long range control of every molecule in the air, he had to use this ability at a high elevation, such as the hill he lived on. The closer he was to the clouds, the easier it was for him to bring rains down. He used the electrical abilities of Mach to shift wind patterns to gather clouds at one specific spot, then spreading the clouds away after compacting them in one area in the air. Repeating this process, he could have a full sky overcast in a matter of an hour, and with practice, in minutes. After a couple hours of walking, Alice grew bored of reading and just walked near 25 for the rest of the way, closing the book before it began to explain how Kyle's powers worked.
They approached the city, and as predicted, just before sundown.

Suddenly, a large hand shot out of behind a tree she was walking by. It slapped over her mouth and another arm wrapped around her waste. After a few seconds of confusion, she realized that a rather large man was carrying her at a dead run into the forest, away from the group. She struggled and pushed against him, and tried to scream but his hand muffled most of it. Ariane was afraid, but not of the man. She was afraid of what the mutants will do to him. More precisely, what she will do if the situation doesn't change. In her mind, she was screaming for the others. Caylx! Kai! Elizabeth! DORIAN! Help me!

"Dorian!" she called out and suddenly there was a gunshot, followed by a sharp pinch between Ariane's shoulder blades. A wave of drowziness hit her almost instantly and she stumbled to the ground. The second man had already gotten up and was now lifting her up off the dirt. Everything was spinning in Ariane's head and she felt so tired. Dorian's blurry figure was the last thing she saw before slipping into unconsciousness. The first man shouted to Dorian, "I don't want to do this. I don't want to fight you. But I cannot disobey orders. The girl must come with us!" The other man was now carrying Ariane into the city, and they both disappeared into an alley.

Ariane woke up in a dark room that was illuminated by an orange flickering light, most likely from candles. Her head and back ached, and the world seemed to keep tilting back and forth. At first she thought she was on a ship. Then she realized she was laying on cold dirt, and that she was most likely underground. She propped herself up on her elbows and tried her best to focus on her surroundings. Dozens of lit candles came into view, and a disturbing red witch-like circle painted on the ground. She also realized that she was lying right in the middle of it. A shock of pain from her back caused her arms to give out and, with a cry of pain, she fell back onto the dirt.
"Sorry 'bout that, young miss." A man with what sounded like an Irish accent spoke in an annoyingly high pitched voice. "Our lad shot a pretty large tranq dart. We didn't know ye'd bleed so much."
"Where am I?" Ariane mumbled.
"Under the city of the damned, dat's where. I wonder what our lord wants with ye. Ye don't seem like much." Ariane heard the man breathe in smoke from a cigar, and that's when she noticed the smell.
"Your lord?"
The man laughed like a weasel and said, "Lucifer, miss." Ariane took a moment to take in what he had just said, and silently reached out to the only being that can reach Dorian: War. War, find Dorian. Get him here, quickly.
War heard Ariane's call, and almost instantly found Dorian in the alley. Dorian, can you hear me?
