The adopted daughter of Lazarus and a relucatant follower of the Masquerade.
Arcane has a truely pure heart deep inside of her, and while she resents her father's ways, she has to love him. Okay, so Lazarus isn't really her "father", but he took her in when she was left to die. He was the only fatherly figure that she ever knew, and while she knows he loves her like a daughter, she also knows that her father would probably kill her if she ever disobeyed an order or showed her distaste for the Masquerade.
She possesses an the elemental ability of magic, one of the reasosn Lazarus desided to take her in in the first place. It has proved quiet useful to her father, and was even used to make the monster wolf's wings capable of flight.
The wolf is a pretty free spirit, who is kind-hearted deep down inside, even though she acts dark for her father. She doesn't age, but like her father, can still be killed. She can't say she hasn't thought about doing so at one point in her life. Arcane loves nature, stars, and other animals.
Arcane never knew her father. Her real mother never spoke of him. But it didn't matter. When they were old enough to no longer need their mother's milk, but still too young to be able to fend for themselves, their mother was off on a hunting trip one day, and they waited and waited, but the she-wolf never returned. Arcane, trying to seem brave in front of her brothers, set off to look for her in the woods, but soon found the task more challenging then she had expected, and she found herself lost. She walked anyway, until she was too weak to walk anymore, and collapsed on the ground, expecting to die.
But just as she was drifting into a dark oblivion, she felt something nudge her side. Using all of her strength to open her eyes, she saw the blurry form of a white and gray wolf wearing a mask in front of her. While she didn't know it, this was Lazarus, and as she blacked out, he rescued her, for he saw use in her. She possessed a magical ability that she knew nothing of at the time.
Lazarus became the father Arcane never had. He raised her, taught her how to hunt and fight, and showed a side to her that no other wolf could ever even have imagined existed inside of him. She loved him dearly, even enough to relucatantly agree to becoming resistant to age, dispite that fact that she knew of his dark intentions. They formed the Masquerade, gathering wolves and building a powerful "pack". But the worst thing that ever happened to Arcane could've been what she once thought was the best : Lazarus. She realized this the day the Masquerade made their first attack, one a village that was appearently Lazarus's former home. She witnessed him murder his own father and rip his wings from his shoulders. Arcane even used her powers to allow them to work.
News of the Renegade actually eased her though. She was glad someone was finally fighting back. Unlike the other wolves in the Masquerade, she respected them for this. And as long as they were successful in their goal, she would give her life for their cause.
