Imagine a world where war and evil don't exist.

This was once Rynmar. A world dominated by an advanced race of wolves. Here, they have ways with their paws, or possess amazing powers, and anything in between. They walk on four legs, but have built castles, villages, entire civilizations!

That is, until they came.

They, being a group of dark wolves, all wearing mysterious masks. They were lead by a beast with stitched on wings by the name of Lazarus. At his side were eight elite element-controling wolves. They struck with no warning, like lightning, and they struck hard, the thunder they left rattling the whole of Rynmar.

They attacked first at Aldernon, Rynmar's capital, located in the continent of Rennir. Not even the Imperial Guards of Castle Varg could stop them. They took reign of Rynmar, and left fear in the souls of the innocent. These wolves called themselves the Dogs of the Masquerade.

Until one wolf had had enough. She stepped forth and gathered together wolves who wished to fight back against the Masquerade, but knew not how. Together, they formed the Renegade, and they struck the Masquerade with no warning. However, they made not even a dent in the beasts, killing none, but luckily loosing none. The two have been at war ever since.

The Renegade's leader has since died, leaving rule in the paws of a new one. Each side recruits new wolves every so often, but the Masquerade outnumbers them greatly. The war goes on, but maybe, just maybe, there is a glimmer of hope for Rynmar...
