Personality: Karissa was born, it seems, with a caring personality. She can deny no one who is hurt or in need, and loves her family and friends fiercely. She is also very loyal, and would defend the things she loves with her life. For her, betrayal in never an option. She believes that honesty is very important, but would probably refrain from telling the truth if to protect the people she cares about.
History: Karissa was born in California, right on the beach. Her whole life she grew up with water around her and quickly took to using her powers. She also had a much time to develop her sporty side, taking interest in things like Volleyball and soccer. She joined a soccer team at age 7 and stayed with it until she joined the camp. Her mother was a Water elemental like her, but her dad and sister weren't. This drove a rift between the two sisters, and had a hard effect on Karissa, who always was caring, especially toward her sister. They never talked much, and when Karissa heard about the camp, she was more than happy to leave the strain of her regular life to live with more accepting people like her.

Other: Karissa has a small siamese kitten, Katsura, she brought with her. She also has a shark tooth necklace; this brings good luck to water elementals. She likes in-the-now fashions, and loves jeans.
