When he finally got some words in his mouth he spoke with a calm tone but his eyes showed worry. "I hate to hear that, I would never in my life ever strike you, or any woman for that matter." he thought for a moment trying to find the words to continue. "I'm not going to tell a soul about you powers even if you do get mad and want to break up with me. " he had gotten past that part so all he needed now was something to finish on.
"So if anyone finds out ever, you'll be turned into a human. Is it forever or just like for so long?" he wasn't sure what to say, the girl was genuinely scared and he was partially. It hurt him but he knew they had to talk about it a bit.

"Well if he fucks with you, him and I are going to have a problem. I don't care if he's freaking Dracula he's not going to mess with you." On the outside he projected a certain confidence that usually swelled when he was around Sonya, but on the inside he regretted his brash words. He had watched enough horror movies to know that messing with a vampire would likely end up getting you killed. Except in Twilight where they sparkled, but he seriously doubted Nathan did.
As he pulled into the lot where the bonfire was set to take place, Nathan yanked the keys out of his truck and sighed. Now that they were finally here his insides started grumbling nervously.
"Before we go and mingle with everyone, let me at least have another smoke. Not sure I can keep the pep in my step without one." He turned to Sonya, waiting for either a frown or a look that would allow him to step out and get in a final smoke before the loud music and fire began.
As they pulled up to the lot not far from her her house. Where she could see the the light of her brother's room turn off. She looked around as the smell of home returned to her. It was comforting to her. "Before we go and mingle with everyone, let me at least have another smoke. Not sure I can keep the pep in my step without one." She sighed. She hated that her boyfriend smoked a lot. She didn't agree with it. She looked at him and moved closer to him. Lightly pecking his lips with her. She looked at him. In his eyes before slowly smiling and whispering in his ear. "You would be getting more than that peck, if you weren't about to smoke." She had a sly grin on her face. Go head, baby. But, I need get the fire started. Before the others get here." She undid the seatbelt wrapped around her body and opened the door letting the cool air wrap around her. She closed the door behind her and walked backwards for a minute. "Baby, don't take to long."
She said before turning around and walking towards the pit where her pack had their meetings. In close walking distance to her home where she could quickly change. She walked closer and could smell something. Something that wasn't too pleasing to her nose. Dominic. She knew because it wasn't as bad as Nathan's. Who's she may have gagged on once or twice since meeting him. She could tell him and his girlfriend were close and she wanted to get the fire started before anyone sat down. She saw blankets and the food she bought on one of the log benches. Her brother must have layed them down before going out with the pack. Doing only God knows what. Even if she did take the pack over from her father, she still didn't have a clue.
She walked into the back door which lead to her room. She walked to her closet before slipping off her dress, knowing that it was too cold to lay around. But, that would give her a reason to pull herself closer to Everett. And, in her eyes that was a win-win. Yet, she wasn't one to want to have her knight in shinning amour. She slipped her dress off before tossing it into her hamper. She grabbed the outfit she layed on her bed before leaving. Slipping the warm gray sweatshirt on around her body before a pair of black jeans and a pair of Uggs. She sighed, she was ready to get the arguement she knew was going to happen..... over with.

Continuing the conversation they were having before the turn, he said, "Oh yes, charming. You forget that you're the only person I talk to. Everyone else just gets a varied assortment of nods and glares. It's not that I'm antisocial. I just have no desire to talk to or interact with society as a whole." A few seconds ticked by where nothing but the engine and the wind were heard before he spoke up again. "Okay, so I might be a -bit- antisocial but that's my choice, now isn't it? Besides, I have you. That's a fair trade for shunning the entirety of humanity." His banter went on for another minute or so before he finally slowed and came to a stop in front of Sonya's house. "Here we are. The Chang estate." He smoothly dismounted the old bike and patted his hair down to fix any wind damage before he turned and offered his beloved a hand off.
Everett turned and watched as his girlfriend took off in the direction of her house. Since he didn't want to be accused of laziness he set took a few hidden keggers of beer from the back his truck (with some superior effort on his part) and placed them under a blanket at least ten feet away from where the fire would be. Drinking as well as smoking was not something his girlfriend was fond of, but almost every teenager in these parts had a hankering for a cold beer once in awhile.
A few other cars and trucks pulled in, including Everett's friend Chris ; typical skater kid with a habit of smoking weed or being high the majority of the time. "Hey man, where's your girlfriend at?" Everett bumped fists with him before replaying. " At her house. Should be getting this thing started any minute though."
Chris rubbed his hands together and give a loud "whoop". "Alright! Time to hit on drunk girls who make the wrong choices." Ev rolled his eyes and punched the kid in the shoulder with enough force to push him back, but not enough to form a bruise. "Yeah, because they have to be drunk to even look at you. "

Gemma continued to cling to him tightly as he kept pumping the engine, her nose nuzzling into him as he spoke more about their previous topic. "Anti social or not, I love you and I promise we don't have to stay the entire time." Gemma said, responding to him as the wind and engine roared through her ears. She yawned softly as he made another turn and then Sonya's house could be seen back by the woods, her yawning muffled by the noise of his vehicle and her mouth digging into his shoulder with affection as he stopped it and then dismounted, his hand suddenly coming up to her. She smiled and took it, getting off the bike as she leaned over and kissed his cheek.
Her hand tightened around his with her pale fingers, pulling him softly towards the house as she leaned into him and nuzzled his shoulder softly. It was obvious Gemma was a very affectionate person, and she adored showing Nathan that affection. She just hoped he would never get annoyed by it. "Is the smell really bad, Nathan? You always crinkle your nose when you come over to Sonya's."
"What I am merely implying is that every creature has a particular scent, I for one, do not appreciate others," Dominic let out his selfish opinion. He was a demon, what would you expect? He gripped onto his girlfriend's hand tighter as each step led them closer and closer to the home of one, Sonya Chang. There was no sight of fire, despite the invitation being some sort of bonfire. His thoughts, however, weren't kept inside. The demon cleared his throat and muttered, "I thought there fire involved in such gatherings, my love?"
Once arriving at the door, Dominic released his hold on Cordelia's hand. He clenched his right hand and tapped it against the wooden door frame three times, he then stared at his hand and flinched as he could smell his scent being overpowered by the scent of the werewolves. The man was hygienic, especially for a demon, and having things out of place and blending in when it's not supposed to had really wrecked a havoc with the inner Imhoptek. He then rubbed his right hand against the side of his pants, rubbing against it in hopes for the germs to disappear. Dominic sighed and stole a glance towards his beloved Cordelia, a small smile curved at the corner of his lips before another smell caught his nose. His head turned over his shoulder and another sign escaped his lips.
"That blood sucker and his human are here," He slightly hissed.
(apologies for the lack of detail and length ;A;)
After getting changed and putting her wavy hair up into a high ponytail. Sonya could sense people at the door. Two of the smells which were not pleasent to her nose. The mixture of the two made her have to breath through her nose a bit before hearing someone, loudly knock on her door. She walked out of her room and could hear someone, barely say "That blood sucker and his human are here," Dominic again. Same harsh as always. "Yes, because you are sooo much better to be around." She said in her head. She honestly wasn't a fan of either of them. Dominic always seemed.... like her. Hard headed and strong willed. That wasn't going to ever fly as long as they were on her people's territory and she wasn't shy to let him know that. And, Nathan..... was Nathan. He always seemed to think that he was better than her.
She thought he was just a plain pain in her ass. She knew she had too much of an opinon for him. Or that's how she saw it. Opening her door, she saw a tall man and his much shorter mate who had long black hair. Dominic Moyer and his, what she thought was his girlfriend, Cordelia Eastham. But, it wasn't so cut and dry as her relatonship. she had no idea what to call their relationship. And, in one moment the smell that overwhelmed her returned. Nathan and his foolish lover, Gemma. She backed up and let them in. "Hello Cordelia, Dominic, and Gemma. It's nice to see you all again. And, Nathan as always, a pleasure to see you." She tried to hide the sarcasm in her voice and did pretty well for how sacastic she was.
She walked into her kitchen which was the first room in her house and grabbed the food she had bought for them. Keeping sight of Nathan in the corner of her now narrow eyes. She wasn't going to let him out of her sight as long as this was her land.
They had been beaten to the front door by Cordelia and her boyfriend Dominic, the very bizarre demon who'd made his way into town years back. Their relationship was hard to describe and personally Nathan couldn't find anything he really liked about the man. He was vain, rude, stubborn and prone to violent outbursts. Oh and did he just love to try and mess with Nathan and try to get an expression out of him like a tourist messing with stony faced queen's guard in England. And then there was Everett and Sonya. The man was alright, a bit rough but at least seeming to try and be nice. Sonya, on the other hand, was quite the ice queen when it came to himself and Gemma. When she wasn't shooting poison loaded glares in their direction, she was putting on the poor guise of being their happy and polite 'friend'. As hard as Nathan tried to justify some pleasant point about her, the smell lingering in the air distracted him and simply gave him another reason to dislike her.
Nathan kept his cold, empty eyes locked on their hostess as they entered her home, his fingers tightening about Gemma's ever so slightly after they crossed the threshold. The stench that lingered in the air felt even heavier as they entered the wolf's den itself. Of course there was no avoiding it in her own home. She would have touched and sat on everything, leaving behind the clinging smell. Even though he knew she was without others of her kind at the moment, it still made him feel as if he was surrounded by the beasts. It wasn't a comforting feel. He didn't say anything as he simply watched Sonya go about with treating her guests. He didn't even blink as he waited for one crack in her little innocent and happy act. It didn't take long. She was keeping her eye on him just as he was doing for her. Good. That meant the grounding was even for the time being.
Cordelia's hand became sightly white at the tightening grip from her lover's digits, and she winced a bit before glancing up at him and giving him a light scowl. "Obviously, love, they haven't started the fire yet. It was rainy the entire week." She said, growing slightly irritated as the tension between him and the tension around the porch and door suddenly became much more intense and caused her blood to boil slightly. Of course, with Sonya's tight tone, she could already tell this was just going to be a delight and she rolled her eyes once more before Dominic's hiss made her jump slightly. She turned her head, looking over at Nathan and Gemma.
"Don't be rude, alright? Seriously. We are supposed to be friends." She snapped at him, offering light smiles to Nathan and Gemma with a polite wave before walking into the house and dragging Dominic in with her. "You can take a long shower later, love." She hoped she hadn't said that too loud, but it wasn't like she was complaining about the smell since she couldn't actually smell it herself. She tilted her head at Sonya. "I'm so surprised you invited everyone, Sonya. But gosh, it sure was nice of you." Cordelia said through her teeth as the tension in the room grew to a point where she was sure she'd end up cracking someone in the jaw. The supernatural auras piling in always made it difficult for her to handle.
(Getting back into the swing of things.)
As they entered inside the house, Gemma noticed it was dim, like how she and Nathan were forced to be in whenever daylight came around and it made her feel a bit better as she continued to hold onto Nathan's hand and felt his pressure increase. She understood he was uncomfortable, and her stomach seemed to churn at the fact that she had dragged him here, and she suddenly started to feel guilty as she noticed Sonya watching Nathan with strict, icy eyes and the judgmental stare over her own physique and expression. That made her feel a bit more defensive, and she continued to flick her head around with a growing tension in her muscles as her shoulder pressed into Nathan's side. She was starting to wonder why Sonya continued to remain in contact with her, but then... she remembered. She was more friends with Everett then anyone in this entire group. Everett had been her friend for a while, and never seemed to judge her the way everyone else had turned to face her. That's one of the strongest reasons she was here. And it made her feel... better.
"I don't mind leaving early." Gemma whispered into Nathan's ear softly, so softly no one could hear it but him as her gentle voice was able to go down so low to almost just lip movements and she smiled at him, clinging around his arm while her eyes flicked around carefully. "So, Sonya." She said in a more curt manner then anything, struggling to try and remain at a softer tone. "When's the fire supposed to start?"
