Michael opened his eyes slowly, taking in the smell of leather, letting out a tired yawn. He winced as he sat up, pain shooting down his back. "Dammit, again.." Spending every night sleeping in Dean's Impala made for a very sore neck, especially with all the bumps and turns. He quickly wiped off a puddle of drool he had made on the upholstery, dreading what Dean would have done to him if he saw it. He looked over at his sleeping girlfriend, Chelsea Lambert, brushing a hair out of her face slowly.

"How much longer do we have to wait? The picture's in that art show, right? Why don't we just go in and get it?" Michael asked, turning his attention to the two hunters in the front seats. Sam put down the newspaper he was reading, shifting in his seat to look back at him.

"We're coming up with a plan to get in there and get the picture. Patience is a virtue, Mike." Sam told him, making a tsk tsk noise and flicking his fingers at him like a scolding parent.

"Yeah, but it's also boring and leaves you with a very numb ass. I will go in there myself and steal the painting."

Michael felt some tingles run through him from Chelsea's touch, leaning down and resting his head on top of hers. He always wondered how he had managed to get someone like Chelsea. Their past wasn't exactly normal. It wasn't normal in the slightest, actually. He had even been her slave at one point..

He frowned when he realized that everyone was ganging up on him, pouting and turning so he was looking out the window. He really hated to lose an arguement, but with Chelsea, it was inevitable.

"Fine. Let's find some place to crash. If we go to a bar, Dean, I swear if I wake up to you having sex on my bed again.."

"I thought the bed was empty! I already apologized!" Dean protested, Michael's only response being his middle finger. Being sat in this car for so long had made him very irritable.. And that was not a good thing for a werewolf.

"There's a bar less than two miles from here. Let's go crash there," Sam said, tugging Dean so he was facing out the front window again, having to use quite a bit of effort. None of them needed another Michael versus Dean fight. One of the two usually ended up with a few broken ribs.

Dean shifted the car into drive, pulling onto the road and driving off. Michael closed his eyes, listening to the hum of the engine. His fingers laced with hers slowly, squeezing her hand.

"In the past hundred years or so, whenever someone bought this painting, they ended up dying the exact same night. All in the exact same way too. Their throats were slit in their bed." Sam answered, completely blocking out Dean's whining. He was used to doing it.

"So, we figured that the painting is haunted by something. We need to get rid of it." Dean finished off for him, shoving a tape into the player. Then For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica started playing. Dean was many things, had many strange interests.. But he had a damn good taste in music.

Michael started singing under his breath, watching the sun in the sky. He didn't like arguing with Sam and Dean, but they weren't the same species.. It was easy for them to piss each other off. Especially when Dean tried to pull the superiority card, then Mike just wanted to punch him in the throat.

"Same drill as usual then? We find some bones to burn and torch them?"

Michael sat in silence the whole drive, thankfully it was only about five minutes. He had a tendency to go quiet whenever he was hunger or nervous.. Which almost always happened at the same time. Being hungry made him nervous.

He flew out the car as soon as it stopped, heading straight to the bar. Dean and Sam both watched him, eyes wide before shrugging it off. They were getting used to Michael's mood swings.

"If they were cremated, then all we gotta do is find something that belonged to them. Don't worry about it, we always pull through." Dean reassured her, giving her a pat on the back before following Mike inside.

Bars were always.. Loud and noisy, filled with sweaty drunks. This one was no exception. Mike had already found a table to sit at, relatively close to the back exit. He had picked up a lot of Sam and Dean's hunter habits.. One being always ready to run or fight, if he had to.

"Get him to calm down and try to have a little fun.. He's got a bigger stick up his ass than Sam does, and that's saying something," Dean whispered to her, giving a little wink and trotted off to the bar. He had set his sights on two girls that were already more than a little tipsy.. Hopefully getting one for Sam as well.
