PERSONALITY

Theodor is a fun loving teen with an impulsive attitude. He is very emotionally driven, letting impulse and emotions make him do things he wouldn’t if he had a clear head. He can be easily angered if he doesn’t like you.
When Theo is with friends, he is the outgoing idiot everyone loves watch being a ditz. He is very scatterbrained, has ADHD and even a little OCD.
Many can call Theo immature, but more childish than any other kind of immaturity. He isn’t afraid of being himself, which is why so many people know him for his little antics.
Theo is the kind of guy who will walk up to a stranger and randomly start a conversation, although most of the time the other person is a little less than willing to talk.
If Theodor has a crush, its hard not to tell. He makes his emotions very obvious, and well, being impulsive an emotionally driven doesn’t help him either. He is also very mischievous

Hobbies: Singing [He’s quite talented], being a ditz, hanging with friends, causing mischief, talking risks.
Wanted Occupation: Hopes of being a singer, if that doesn’t work then he wants to be photographer or someone who travels.

HISTORY
Relationship Status: He hopes of changing this
Family: His mother and two deaf sisters
Known Languages: German, English, and Sign Language

Theodor was born as the only boy in a family of four. He has two sisters, both born deaf like his grandparents, and his mother. He loves them dearly and couldn’t be without them.
When he was fifteen he told his family he was Bisexual, and was relieved when they said that didn’t change him. They rarely cared about different sexualities, after all his aunt was married to a woman. Most of his friends had suspected it before and really just didn’t care. The most laughable response was, “Okay, now can we get pizza?”
When Theo was seventeen they moved to Degrassi, a change of scenery, as his mother had told him. He has made a few friends, but hasn’t made an effort to connect, his mind still in New York with his friends. Every summer, he goes to visit his aunts and gets to see his friends.

So begins...

Juliet
Juliet sighed as she sat there at the back of the class. Pretty much everyone was talking, but the teacher didn't seem to care so much. Walk in late and he'd glare daggers, but once the lesson started...well, unless he had something out for you, he didn't care how much everyone talked.

She didn't say a word, mostly observed. Everyone was in class at this point—at lest she thought so. She recognized Spencer of course, sliding in just before he was late. And Theodore, who she didn't know personally but she'd seen around a bit the year before.

There was another boy she recognized too, a thin guy with long hair she'd be jealous of if she didn't love her own hair so much. He was usually asleep when she came rolling in, but this time he wasn't. She liked his hat. If she was more social, she probably would have told him so.

There was another girl who had been there for about a year, with gorgeous eyes and some awesome blue hair. Juliet was quite taken by her looks, she had to admit, and again...perhaps she would say something...in another life.

The only other two girls in the room that caught her attention were both brunette. One white and the other some kind of Spanish mix if she was willing to bet on it.

She smiled to herself as she tapped her pencil against her paper. Well, at least the scenery was good.

Spencer
Spencer looked up slowly as he heard a voice, and found himself eye-to-eye with a very beautiful brunette, who was pointing at his board. What had she said?

He chuckled softly and rubbed the back of his neck as he looked down at his board then back at her. “Ah, they're not really. But I've gotten in trouble so many times they've just...kind of gotten over it.”

Honestly, the bottom of his backpack was filled with warnings, but they'd only ever taken it away from him once. All he'd had to do was stay after school, plead his case, and add in a little tears about how that was the only way he could afford getting to school and...bingo. They gave it back.

Sad thing was, it was a completely true story.

He leaned out of his seat slightly to offer his hand. “Spencer.” Given that he'd been there his whole life, generally everyone knew him in one form or another, or at least his name. Degrassi was small, but it wasn't so small that everyone always had the same class with each other. It wasn't unusual to bump into someone new.

Actually, this year he barely knew a lot of the people. He knew Juliet from previous years, and a couple of guys he'd seen around from time to time, but as far as friends went...he had few left.

Aaliyah

Out of all the classes that she had math was by far the worst subject she had. It wasn't that she hated it because she didn't understand it she hated it because she understood it and the fact that it wasn't a challenged made it boring. It was a waste of time for her to sit there nearly an hour and have nothing to challenge her.

She was off in her own word when she noticed the teacher glaring at her, what did I do now she thought to herself. "Well Ms.Villegas, what's the answer?" She was lost for her eyes shifted from the teacher to the board, doing the math in her head she looked back at the teacher "Uh ... A = -3." The teacher just gave her a annoyed look before nodding "Correct Ms.Villegas, but it wouldn't kill you to pay attention to my lesson" Aaliyah nodded "Yes sir."

The class was boring and she was tired but as much as she wanted to go to sleep she stayed awake not waiting to give the teacher any reason to talk to her for the rest of the day. Resting her head in her left hand she wrote down the work with her right. "So class I've to decided to give you all a project as a way to get everyone associated with one another," the teacher started as he leaned against the front of the desk looking at all his students. With in the class there was 20+ students but only fourteen of them had show up which made this an easy split. Writing down the names of who was in what group the teacher placed the piece of paper on his desk "Come up to see which your in" he said moving aside.

She gave a low sigh before getting up form her table she walked up to the desk and read the paper. As she skimmed the white piece of paper she read the names of her group members in her head.

She had no idea who any of these people were personally but she was always up for meeting new people. "I will be giving you your assignments tomorrow and you and your groups will have until next week to finish and then present them. You guys have until the end of class to chat and such."

Aurora smiled and waved goodbye to her friend before going into the school, her skateboard tucked safely under her arm. Making her way down the hallway towards her class she dropped off some of her extra crap into her locker. Caring a butt load of extra stuff didn't seem very nice at the moment since her shoulder was killing her. Walking again she finally made her way into her classroom and noticed some more students were in. Her blue eyes scanned around the room as she noticed some familiar faces in the class.

The Juliet girl who seemed like she'd be quite a blast to hang out with, in truth. Along with that Theodor kid who had pretty nice hair and not to mention eyes. This school did seem to be lacking a bit of color in the hair department though; which was a bit upsetting. Who else... oh yea that Spencer guy seemed pretty chill, his looks weren't bad either. Maneuvering around all the cluster of desks she sat down at a table that was right in front of the back row. Placing her things down and crossing her legs she rested her chin into the palm of her hand.

"Ugh, class hasn't even started and i'm tired..." She muttered to herself, blowing a stray Azul colored hair out of her face. Her multi-colored nails tapped nonchalantly on her desk; pulling out her sketchbook she started scribbling some lyrics into it. She wasn't any kind of song writer but it was fun throwing together little dabbles of songs and playing them on her guitar. The guitar was her best friend and her enemy at the same time. She loved it but it hated her, always breaking or un-tuning itself somehow.

"Ah, I see." She replied and nodded, still smiling. Maybe the Teachers just didn't want to tell him off anymore, since it was a lost cause. Maybe he had a knack for getting in trouble, or maybe he was just crazy about skateboarding. Whatever it was, the boy seemed to like it very much. He held out his hand and said his name and Sophie glanced up at their teacher to see if he was looking. Fortunately he wasn't. "Sophie Stark." She said and smirked. Since she moved here with her mother, the brunette had probably met him outside this classroom a couple of times, but she was absolutely horrible with names. Besides, Sophie couldn't remember that they had been introduced before. Leaning back into her seat, her eyes travelled from Spencer to the people in the classroom.

Their teacher had the brillant idea to make them work in groups for an assignment. Sophie didn't like group work, although she always made it work fine. She was just better alone with those things. Whatever, There's nothing you can do. Sophie told herself and sighed. People were getting up to see who their "groupmates" would be and so would Sophie. Just as she got out of her chair though, a noise stopped her dead in her tracks. Apparently some guys phone went off, with a ringtone that made it very hard for her not to laugh. As she passed his desk on her way to see what group she was in, she nudged his shoulder and looked at him briefly. "Nice ringtone." Sophie offered him a shy smile and then walked to the front of class.

"Spencer..." She said to herself as she skimmed the paper. The other names were familiar although she couldn't put a face to all of them. Juliet, she knew who that was. A lot of people did though. Sophie stood by herself for a moment and didn't really know what to do. So she stepped back as more and more people came up to the desk, leaning against the blackboard. Silently, Sophie stood and looked at her classmates, her hand clutching he father's dog tag as a sudden surge of nerves hit her. Sophie was a little shy, especially when having to work in a group of people where she didn't really know everyone. That was also why she was very happy with the fact that they had been given the rest of the class to chat. That made it easier to get to know everyone a little better.

Juliet
"So class I've to decided to give you all a project as a way to get everyone associated with one another."

Juliet sighed deeply. She hated group work. Not because of the work itself but because she mostly just didn't like people. She was anti-social in that way and she knew it. Besides, when there was group work at Degrassi it was usually in their spare time that they had to work on it.

She sighed and pushed herself rather roughly out of her seat as she went to look at the list of group names, but she was only halfway there when a phone suddenly went off, with a comical bit from a kids movie.

Even Juliet snickered at that. It was quite amusing.

"I will be giving you your assignments tomorrow and you and your groups will have until next week to finish and then present them. You guys have until the end of class to chat and such."

Spencer
Spencer smiled at Sophie. He'd seen her around a couple of times but hadn't actually gotten the chance to really talk to her. He liked her so far, but Spencer liked most people.

He got up when she did, and was right behind her when some kids phone went off. He had to laugh too, and realized he didn't know this kid either. Seen him around a couple of times, like Sophie, but never actually spoke to him.

He found his name on the list pretty soon. He didn't mind groupwork, mostly because he liked people and working in a team always seemed pretty good for him. Still, he kind of took the lead and walked back to his seat. The back to rows were pretty much where his group was already located anyway.

“Hey guys, come sit, we need to get acquainted and what not.”

He knew most of them. Spohie, whom he'd just met, Juliet who he'd known for awhile—though not well, Aaliyah he knew—she'd been a cheerleader back when. Pretty good too. Spencer himself had been popular before he came out, and that was when he lost track with what everyone else was doing. She had some nasty rumors about her, but nothing he'd hold against her.

Shura he knew pretty much by face only, he'd seen him around a couple of times too. Aurora was a lot like Juliet—pretty much everyone knew about her but not really knew her specificity. He figured it was probably the hair. And then there was Theodore, who he actually thought was pretty cute, though he'd never spoken to him.

If there was something that Shura was sure of, it was hearing in his sleep. A group assignment was something he had done before, usually opting out of them due to awkwardness, however...what was the harm in getting to know the people he was going to be working with?

He stood and started to "flutter" or rather wander around the back rows with his hands making a sort of bat wing motion. He could feel bat ears on top of his head rotating like satilites as he wandered to the back and eventually sat down about a seat away from Spencer. Having the feeling that your arms and hands were much bigger than they should was something that would stop and did stop from talking, making him watch him for a while.
