Declan is, without a doubt, a trickster. Though not malicious, he is a bit of a troll, sometimes letting his mischief take him a bit too far. Despite this, Declan’s energy and inviting personality make him overall likeable, even if his impulsivity can sometimes be extremely obnoxious. Regardless of his sometimes annoying habits, Declan is truly a good friend, always ready with a smile and a high five to cheer you up on a bad day.

"Aw, c'mon, chin up! Things could be way worse, eh?"

Declan was the sixth of nine brothers, with two sisters above him and one below making a grand total of twelve children. As such, he learned fairly quickly how to stir up mischief with his brothers (usually at his youngest brother Bastion’s expense) and how to roughhouse with other boys. One of his favorite games to play with his brothers was soccer, where Declan soon demonstrated an aptitude for the sport. He was enrolled in elementary leagues, then moved up with his age until reaching a professional league in his junior year of high school.
This exciting dream was short-lived, however: it seemed someone out there had other plans for Declan.
