Akira Yuuto's Story

Kirito observed the strange player who had just dropped in front of him. That was quite the entrance he thought but pain not mind to him. He enter the shop and placed a bunch off small books on the table writing a sign that said guide book for free. He then walk up to the bar and order a small Tea, he waited as he saw the through his menu if anyone had send him a reply. He saw Miyer would be grinding soon and when the battle took place they would go together. He then took a look through his inventory he had two blades the anneal blade with + 6 enhancements and the blade of infinite MP. He had a hard time deciding which one to take to the boss battle but finally decided upon taking the anneal blade. He then receive his tea and drank it he left 20 Col on the bar and walked away. The fields were being picked cleans as he took a break but he knew the best spots to grind due to his beta tester back ground. He headed toward that direction hoping to see the field with the level 15 monsters and while he was going solo he could handle them as long as they didn't swarm. He pulled out his blade and began grinding his level slowly increasing. He decided to take a break from all the grinding and then walked back to the town thing were a lot calmer now people understood the vitality of being able to survive. He saw the strange boy again, then another girl with a similar blade to his, there was a couple that just had starting grinding, then there was a tank obvious player, he saw last a another blue haired boy all of them determine as he was to win.

( anyone wants to join me in the following quest for now kirito will be sociable and approachable so please I would like to get to know each and every single one of your character before Friday.)

Here is your 15 daily quest

1. The 3 Bear rampage. ( there was a case of breaking and entering the victims three bears who are now rampaging through the forest chasing the responsible assailant, capture the assailant or kill the bears is up to you ) Level: 5 Xp Yield: 100 Reward: The house in the forest ( if bears kills ) The pick of locks a pick that allows to pick low level door without with ease. ( if the assailant is kill)

2. The bird wonder ( there is a justice bird trying to save his mentor an old bat from a hyena's attack ) Level :4 Xp: 75 Reward : the boomerang spear ( a spear that returns to the user if thrown.)

3. The living blade ( there is a cursed blade in the forest if anyone tries to pick it up it will sap their energy however if the swords deems you worthy it will become the sapping blade of the king which allows a energy sapping skill when contact with the skin of the enemy is made.) Level :6 Xp yield: 150 Reward: Sapping blade.

4 . The first rule of rpg ( there is a swarm of monsters appearing through the meadows they are rumored to give a lot of XP the draw back is they swarm the opponent effortless killing them) Level :6 Xp yield: 175 Reward : Double xp

5. The Creed is sacred ( a group of mysterious assassin' s just open up a spot for a single new comer who can bring them the head of the monster called the Temple a monster twice as high as any player with a huge cross in its chest ) Level: 7 Xp yield: 175 Reward: Cloak of the assassins + sneaking and Dagger damage

6. The golden ape ( there is a monkey giving information about a sword skill called the turtle slash his name is sung wukong but he will only reveal his secret to a strong opponent who can best him and his magical pole) Level: 4 Xp yield: over 90 Reward: Sword skill the turtle slash

7. The chief and the arbiter ( there is duo giving a quest to destroy a poisounous plant that is turning their friends into zombies slay the plant and do not become a zombie ) Level: 18 reward: Light Blade a blade composed of a bright metal makes it look like if it wasn't a tangible thing

8 The Psy ( There is a dancing npc that is willing to teach a moved called the side step counter if you can show him you can get down) Level:5 Xp yield: 50 Reward: The side step counter

9. The Mischievous fox( there is a fox deep in the forest that is nimble and agile trying to keep himself alive he will bestow a fast dodging skill to his next apprentice will it be you ) Level:4 Xp yield: 80 Reward: The nine tails, allows to the user access to a running skill that allows quickly movement at the cost of being down on all fours and not being able to use weapons.

10. The trishotgun ( there is a charismatic outlaw hoping to turn his life around all he need is for you to pay his debts if you do then he will give you the triblade a blade that give a +3 attack if used on bandits.) Level:5 Xp yield: 100 Reward: The tribalde

11. The stacking miner ( there is a miner that has re imagine a way to mine his pickaxe can now pick blocks of 1 meter by 1 meter up he is willing to pay you a lot of Col if you keep the explosive nepents away from him. ) Level: 5 Xp yield: 125 Reward: 3,000 Col.

12. The preparations for winter because it's coming ( there is a small feathery dragon who has landed in the mountain the NPCs want him death because once winter come he will attack their cattle do not attempt alone. ) Level:8 Xp yield: 400 Reward: The scale chest plate + 10 attack and hp

13. The wrong turn on Tolbana ( by mistake a rare mob has appeared outside tolbana it's name the grey rabbit if you can catch it and kill it I will grant you rabbit meat a meat capable of healing any status ) Level:5 Xp yield: 110 Reward: The docs meat

Tolbana outskirts November 7, 2022

Kirito was relieved that the other players were safe and now focused on killing the remaining zeboars in order to get the xp to take on other quest. He continued to dispatch them a lot easier now that he had support from shiro and magnus. He finished the remaining ones and smile wiping his forehead even thought there was not sweat he was exhausted. He walked over to Shiro and MAgnus and smile " Thank you guys this quest would have been a lot more difficult if I did it alone anyway I hope you guys got enough experience to take on other challenges without this happening." He said thinking of how close to death they were. He wave them good bye and began to walk back to town in order to take another quest so he could level up faster out of the 10 zeboars he must have killed at least 4 of them at 175X2 experience he had gain 1400 XP enough xp to level up to level 7 he was now in route to becoming stronger and being able to survive the game of death. He excused himself and walked back to the place he was renting in order rest a bit. He was walking when he realized he had used his sword so much it probably now needed to find someone who would repair the equipment. He walked to town looking for a smith that would be able to help him without cleaning out his col supply. He however was distracted when he saw Argo the info dealer making her money by selling information he decided to check out what information she could have that could help him. He smiled as he saw her cat markings and then decided to inquire about the info she didn't have much he didn't already no so he decided to leave her to her business.

tolbana 9 pm November 7,2022

Kirito look up at shiro again " Do you need any more help friend ?" He asked a little worry that he might have run into troubled. He sat in a bench and waited for him to talk as he looked through his menu and accepted the quest to kill the dragon winter is coming" Hey how do you feel about fighting a fire breathing lizard " He said as he smiled but realized even if they were in good levels fighting a dragon would require more than two players he decided to use the system quest to post one on his own. Anyone seeking to gain good xp and favorable reward please meet me in the outskirts of tobalna I will share the details of this quest once you arrive. He send the quest to the nearby players, and then turn to Shiro " Let's go we need to meet people in the outskirt of this town." He said as he started walking and then realized this guy had been calling him by his name the whole time. " Hey have we meet before, or how do you know my name I don't believe I ever told you it" He said a little worry this guy had been buying players names from argo because only two type of players did that the PKers and the traps for the PKers. He tap hi sword and sight hoping this guy wasn't one of them even thought he would do anything to survive killing someone would not weight lightly in his conscious. He arrived to the place he was supposed meeting them and waited for the players to arrive there this quest would be the most difficult one yet. He equipped his Anneal blade and packet all his healing potions and crystal as well as the corridor crystal in case things when wrong.

November 7th

It had been a day since Kayaba announced transported all of the players to the 'Town of Beginnings' and announced that Sword Art Online was classified as a life or death game.

Within a day Akira had witnessed 28 player killings.
Within a day Akira had been attacked 8 times.
Within a day Akira had killed 3 people.

November 6th
2-Hours after Kayaba's Message

Akira immediately ran into the first npc shop he laid eyes on and bought the "essentials": wood, a tent, flint etc before heading to the forests. Knowing how most MMO's were played in a situation like this the Beta-Testers would rush the secret quests and good grinding areas. The newbies would head for the boars, the easiest place to grind up until around level 3. Dire Wolfs gave more exp than boars but took a bit longer to kill. Akira also knew that many players would be heading for a town and according to his map that he traded for there were only two close towns, Tolbana and Horunka.

Tolbana is definitely closer but Horunka had better training grounds around it. He readied himself for battle and left Town of Beginnings and headed north-west to Horunka.
he couldn't die now.
On his way to Horunka he was intercepted by a two other players while making his way down a forest. They seemed like friendly people, apparently real life friends that had known each other for years. They accompanied Akira to the entrance of Horunka before abruptly stopped with their weapons pointed at Akira.

"Sorry, but this is the end of the line; for you at least." Proclaimed one of the players.
Akira didn't hesitate, with his brother already lost elsewhere in the game death really wasn't an option just yet.

He allowed one of the players, a blonde haired boy to attack him. Akira side-stepped the attack and stuck his hand out allowing the blow to strike. "Now...the rest is self defense!" He drew his sword and slashed vertically at the blonde haired boy. The boy's cloth armor was easily pierced as his health dropped to virtually nothing. Akira hadn't realized it now but the boys health had already been low, most likely due to training without proper healing.

Within a blink of an eye the blonde boy's friend who was quite smaller in-fact rushed at Akira. The boy's face was as red as his hair, tears ran down his face as he rapidly swung at Akira. The movements were random and easily avoidable. Akira forcefully shoved his sword through the red haired boys chest, the crackling of bones could be heard as his whole chest collapsed. Miraculously he still had life in him but lacked the power to stand. In his last dying breaths Akira tried his best to comfort him in his final moments. Eventually the boy turned into code and disappeared before Akira's eyes.

Within a day Akira had killed 2 people.

November 7th
A Day of Questing

Due to the previous day Akira had managed to snag up 500 Col and two levels, putting him at <<Lvl 3>>. He went to the quest board and accepted a daily quest.

Quest #15 The Forever Battle: Finish the battle between the Salmon and the Butterflies
Level: 5
XP yield: 60
Reward: The powders of status effects ( if salmon kill ) or The mountain leap an extra jump skill that allows a much higher jump ( if cocoon killed )

The quest sounded relatively easy and the reward was great, especially for Akira who already had <<Acrobatics>> as a skill. There was a river that ran by Horunka that also ran through a forest. This HAD to be the quest area. He left Horunka and made it to the outskirts where the forest and river intersected. He pushed his hand deep into the fertile soil that lay feet away from the river. He closed his eyes and focused on the area around him. The river went downstream for at least 15 feet in each direction before he could stop detecting. Plenty of fish were swimming in the river but a large amount of them were focused around one area, even more-so most of them seemed to be focused on a single tree.

Just then Akira noticed it, a large pink cocoon that was at least 8 feet long and 4 feet thick. It was attached to a large tree that was primarily hollow on the inside. Exhausted; Akira opened his eyes and caught his breath. "I overly rely on that ability too much." He mumbled to himself. He leaped across the river effortlessly and climbed up to the cocoon. He struck at it multiple times with his sword. The silk absorbed the blows as if it was nothing. The hot sun beamed down on Akira's forehead, luckily there was a large amount of shade thanks to the forest canopy. That was when an epiphany struck Akira. He opened his inventory and equipped himself with flint. He struck his sword and flint up against the cocoon and not before long sparks emanated all across the silky cocoon, setting it ablaze.

Smoke filled the air and blanketed the forest and from within the cocoon a loud could be heard. The batting of wings was easily distinguishable among the crackling of flames. Through the smoke Akira could slightly see a large moth that levitated in the air, using its wings to clear the smoke from around the area. Akira, using this chance his advantage to get the jump on the moth used his <<Acrobatics>> skill to leap from the tree onto the moth. He landed on the moth's sensitive back hairs. The moth, reasonably confused began twirling and shaking trying to send Akira flying off its back. In an effort to NOT get flung off Akira drove his sword into the spine of the moth, only making it go more rampant. The moth's health began falling into the yellow zone quickly and with it unable to shake Akira off it decided to slam directly into the water as a last ditch effort.

Akira and the moth descended into a spiral and crashed into the water sending fish into a frenzy. Still the moth trashed about, this time trying to get air, Akira sat atop the moth's head and kept pressure onto its head denying it access to air. Within minutes its health diminished into nothing as it drowned. Soon Akira's quest journal updated, showing that he had completed the quest and that his reward was to be accepted back at a quest bulletin board.

Akira headed back to Horunka and turned his quest in before heading back to the inn to rest.

( To does who are not happy about the RP i been trying really hard to make it pleasing to everyone but Does it really cost that much effort to just look where you are posting ? I made this two places because floor 1-100 is where the non cannon happens, and here sword art online is where the cannon happens.)

Diavel will hold the meeting for the boss fight tomorrow

Tolbana December 2, 2022.

A month has passed since Kayaba Akihiko told the players about the death game and the consequences. Over 2,000 players had already died and the 1st Floor was yet to be cleared, i used to be a beta tester but even i don't know where the boss lair is located. Today we are finally holding a meeting to discuss how to find and defeat the floor one boss.

On December 2, 2022, a self-proclaimed knight Something everyone laughed at, Diavel, called for a meeting at the town center of Tolbana. He announced that the Boss room in the labyrinth had been located.



When all the attending players are asked to form groups, Kirito panicked as he saw parties beginning to form. As the groups formed, Kirito noticed a hooded girl alone and asked her to form a party with him.( Waiting for Asuna answer )

The meeting was interrupted by Kibaou, one of the players in the meeting. Believing that there were Beta Testers in the meeting, he stated how they had "left the beginners" to die, and refused to help the starters. He then stated if there were any beta testers in the meeting, they should give up all of their items and money, otherwise they would not be trusted by the others, Kirito feeling guilty was about to raise his hand a declare himself a beta tester. However, Agil intervened and defended the Beta Testers, stating that they should not be fully blamed for the tragedies of the fallen players as they had already helped by distributing their knowledge of the game through a manual and that everyone had equal access to the information, and Diavel and the rest of the attending players were revealed to have a copy of the book. After the commotion ended, Diavel read the information book to the players in the crowd, telling them that the boss on the floor was Illfang the Kobold Lord, and that he had minions, called Ruin Kobold Sentinels. He also told them on his last bar of HP, the boss would discard his weapons and equip a Talwar and use a different combat style. Thinking that the book was completely correct, the attending members decided not to scout the boss to check if there was any mistake on the book and planned to battle Illfang the next day. The Meeting was dismissed and the players went their different ways preparing themselves for the fight.

December 4th, 2022 – 10:07 A.M.
Floor 1 – Tolbana

A collective applause had filled the auditorium following Diavel's rousing pep-speech. From the stands, Ark joined in on the clapping and smiled—truly, Diavel did seem like a fair leader for the upcoming trial. Of course, Takao's enthusiastic response, involving a combination of waving, cheering, whistling and applause, all at once, was also quite amusing. However, the golden-eyed beta-tester was also keenly aware of the differences between the atmosphere here, in the present, and back then in the past. In the beta-test, there had been no such meeting—it hadn't been as serious. But, now, despite everyone's jovial attitude, there was the distinct awareness that Death, was lurking only just around the corner.

And so, Ark wasn't surprised when Diavel announced the necessity of a highly organized multi-party raiding group. It was efficient and, although it meant that spoils would be divided, it significantly reduced the casualty rate. He nodded in approval to the plan. In any case, he already knew who his raid partner would be, he thought, subconsciously smiling at the purple-haired girl beside him.

Of course, he was worried. During the beta-test, he had been viciously defeated by Bosses. No doubt, this time would prove just as difficult. Except, this time, a screw-up would be a ticket to the next life. He had tried to convince Takao not to go. But, being the hard-headed girl she was, she would have none of it.

He was brought back to the present when Takao squeezed his hand, having noticed his stare, and smiled brightly at him. He let out a breath of happiness. To tell the truth, he appreciated her presence. He turned to the other players around him, “Hey, if any of you would like to party, we'll be defending against the—”

A sharp kick in the shin shut him up. It was deserved, he supposed, it hadn't been part of his deal with her. Takao stood high, looking out to the players and announcing her proposal, “Everyone, it'd be easier for us to face the Boss if we can divide its attention; that means Flanking. So, if anyone would like to assist with the Flanking, join our party!”

“I'm sure someone here was in the beta! If they were, they should get on their knees and apologize and give up all of the items and money they've hoarded! Otherwise, we can't trust them to protect us as party members and they shouldn't trust us.”

At those words, the air changed around the auditorium and, suddenly, to Ark, it felt like a hundred spears of ice were piercing through his body. He cringed at the jerk's words and felt his fists clench in anger. Sure, the jerk was right, to some extent. Since the beginning of the Death Game until now, Ark had made no serious attempts to offer help to the other players—he had only helped those who had asked. But, he thought, angrily, that doesn't make it our fault. We didn't choose to live this game—we're all in the same boat. We have to live too.

A sound to his side caught his attention. Takao's hand was on her sword's hilt and her expression was far from what it had been, only a few moments ago. The creases of rage along her brows were heavy. She's angry, Ark realized, for my sake.

He took a moment to reflect. No. He couldn't let this bother him. There was no point. Anything that happened could only make things worse for the beta-testers. With a moment's hesitation, he calmly set his hand on Takao's arm and, when she turned to look at him, he looked her in the eyes. An understanding came, between them. Not now.

Fortunately, another man stepped up—tall and dark—to challenge the jerk. Agil, he called himself—Ark added the name to his memory. The man defended the beta-testers and forced the jerk to sit down. And the meeting continued.

Floor one Boss labyrinth December 2, 2022

The labyrinth was a hard to clear, monster kobolds spawning everywhere with traps along the way. The raid party lose one or two along the way making it seem hopeless but diavel was cheering them on. Diavel was a good guy or so he seemed he talk to kirito knowing he was a beta tester he made sure he would not be attacking the boss so Diavel could obtain the bonus item from the last attack. He continued to lead them through the Labyrinth his party ahead killing and scouting obtaining most of the XP while the others just followed. The boss room came soon into view after the long travel they were all exhausted so Diavel gave them a minute to regain their strength.

( Sorry had to skip the whole night and bread thing since there was not reply )Kirito sat there next to Asuna a little surprise that she didn't know what switch was " So be on the level with me have you been in a party before this ? " He asked a little worry since he didn't want to be protecting a newbie during a boss battle not exactly the best idea. He waited for her answer equipping his scale chest plate and his anneal blade ready for the boss.

Diavel after letting everyone rest he stood up in front of everyone and began giving a speech. " We have come this far thanks to all of us uniting together and working as one, we will prevail on this boss battle because we are strong and brave, we must prevail because we owe it to those back in the town of beginnings, we need to show them that this game can be beaten!!!! " He said as he walked to the door placing his sword down " I only have one last thing to say to you Let's win !!! " He said as he open the door to the boss room the entire raid party slowly made their way inside the room was dark, but after a couple steps the lights turn on revealing a huge dog like creature with bluish fur and huge axe and shield. The boss stood up and roared as soon as the sound finish the minions began to appear Kobold sentinels. Diavel Stood in front of the party and signal them to begin the attack "GO!!".
