Personality:
Suspicious and easy to anger Maddie isn't the easiest person to be around. She's hot headed, cold and acts like a wild child, listening to no one and acting by her own accord. But it's clear that the reason behind her aggressive and oddly quiet behavior stems from a loss of contact to the point where Madeline seems to have trouble even talking to people without her seeming angry or suspicious. Should you spend a little time with her you might manage to ease out more then a harsh: "What is it?" from her. But like all people Madeline is not one dimensional to the point of anger being her only quality the more time you spend around her the more you will begin to see her seemingly boundless curiosity, energy, and loyalty.

History:
Madeline's early life for the most part is unclear, her parents, her name all of it is so vague it has no meaning. In Madeline's memory her life began at the age of about 5 living with a doctor of sorts out in the woods close to the city. The man came from wealth and despite the years of glitch infestation he had somehow managed to keep the large house he claims to have inherited from his parents and so on. To Madeline he was both a demon and an angel offering her great compassion and kindness but also giving her harsh punishment and fear. He did not treat her like a child she was more of a pet and no matter how Madeline tried to ask about her past the answer was always the same: "shut up you don't need to know." But despite his often harsh way of speaking he seemed to have a sense of compassion and a fascination for helping those who'd been bitten by a glitch and were worried of becoming sick themselves. But despite the safety and wisdom of the old man, living with him ended when she was around 9.

It was rare for the doctor to take Madeline out, but when he did they often headed into the city for medicine. The doctor knew his way around the tunnels underground and the less glitch infested areas. But this time it seems he caught an unlucky break and when the glitches swarmed Madeline was the only one to get out. She would spend the next 4 years living within the city, adapting to the streets and tunnels hiding in old houses and eating whatever she could find or hunt. Her years of living with the doctor served well as she could identify plant life, and knew basic reading. During this time she also owned her survival and hunting skills, becoming a fierce hunter and an expert at living through the harshest of winters. She enjoyed being by herself as the doctor had rarely spoken to her unless it was harsh or because he needed her to do something, so this knew pace of life with no worries was refreshing. But like all things it had to end of for Madeline it ended when she found a group of city scavengers being attacked by glitches, she was in no way inclined to help... And yet seeing them there despite all she'd learned despite feeling as though they were the same using scum the doctor was. She could not let them die. So she did what she could and she helped them get out. There were casualties, there always are when someone like Madeline who is use to the city and the glitches helps out those who have no idea what there doing. Of course they INSISTED on taking Madeline with them, sure she looked like she'd never seen a bath and her clothes were rags covered in blood, and heck she did not even talk. But she was a young 'lady' and they could not just leave her there in one of the most dangerous places. So even though Madeline squirmed and fought they dragged her kicking and screaming back to there camp...

She loathed them... Ok so she still doesn't loath them but at the time she feared they would turn out just like the doctor. Kind one minute and then stabbing a needle into your arm the next. Her evident distrust and her lack of saying anything led everyone to give up on Madeline... All except for an elderly old lady who called herself Granny Marble Jule. She was kind and took Madeline in and after prying Madeline's name from her lips adopted her. Of course Madeline had never had a last name so along with the adoption came that weight... But it was oddly pleasing to have a complete name. It took a year before Madeline began to talk to everyone... Of course talking was not and still is not something she engages in often but she at least doesn't pretend to be mute anymore. And after spending several en-ragingly long year living in the camp and going out often for city raids... She supposes the people here aren't too bad. Though she could do without there constant buzz of chattiness she doesn't have ALL day to talk about roses... I mean sure... She will listen to you talk about roses. But don't expect her to say much in return.

Relationships:
Ren Young Ming - "His flattery is bound to get him in trouble..."
Sollas Dawn - "He's full of energy... I guess thats not a bad thing?"

[[ OOC: Hey guys, so currently we have 4 characters and while I am hoping others will join later on it seems for the moment were going to have maybe have double characters each so that its not as empty and awkward. Keep in mind we must all be active in the OOC so as to ensure the progression of the plot! This post is a little bit more of an introductory to our setting and such but viewed through the eyes of my character. And this post is also here to kinda wake you all up because hey were doing this! ]]

Madeline was a morning person. There was no denying the call of the birds and the sun, more so on such a beautiful day. The atmosphere outside still clung with the faint breath of night as the sky was the lightest shade of blue peppered with the odd star. Madeline was a morning person. And on such a gorgeous and quiet spring morning where else would you find the rogue-like young lady then leaving the small house she shared with Granny Marble, the settlements oldest living member and Madeline's own adopted caretaker. There home like most houses in the settlement was not exceptionally large but was modeled after the houses you could find the city albeit the ones here were less technologically advanced, using the most basic solar and wind power to keep things running. Her's and Granny Marble's was located on the far-edge of the settlement right by the river and the woods, but despite being on the edge where the lesser clump of houses were located you could still clearly see the rest of the town. Each house was styled differently to accommodate the needs and skills of the individuals living there. Madeline's own house was by the river because it was the flour mill and the river provided the perfect energy to keep the house lighted and the mill running. And thinking about it now, Madeline guessed that living in the mill with an old woman who spent her days baking could probably be the cause of the pudgy-ness she was sure she was developing.

Taking a moment to scan the settlement Madeline was pleased to note she seemed the only one awake at this time and that meant she had a good few hours to take a stroll through the woods and maybe pick some apples, if there were any suitable ones in the little grove she'd discovered about a year back. Shoving on a pair of boots the small girl checked one last time to ensure the house was secure before departing into the woods. Today was, quiet. Even for morning the whole forest seemed still and despite the fact that this put Madeline on edge she knew that Glitches rarely to never came out this far and the reason for the stillness was probably the early atmosphere and the fact animals seemed to be becoming aware that humans were common around this area. After locating the grove of apple trees Madeline quickly got to work scaling each one to pick only the best and ripest apples, even if it was early in the season Granny Marble was bound to be able to do something with them!

It was late morning when Madeline returned to the settlement shirt full of bright green apples that she deposited carefully in a basket on the bench outside her house. She then took one apple as her own prize, the biggest one of course and began to wander around the town seeing who else was awake. There were a few of the older residence out and about though they paid Madeline little mind having given up a year or so ago after she'd proven stubborn and unresponsive to most people. Still those that took time to wave earned one back. And as Madeline took a large bite of her apple she settled sprawled across one of the many town benches and opted to see who would wake next and who out of those would be worth her time.

Sollas awoke to the sound of birds singing. He took a look at the open window next to his bed. ‘I don’t remember opening the window yesterday… Must be Lucy.’ The well-known feeling of faint headache snap him out of his train of thought. He sat up in the bed, front towards the window. Gathering his thoughts while putting on clothes ‘Okay, today I need to go take a look at Pearson’s solar cells.’ Pearson had had some problems with the solar cells on his roof the last couple of days, and now that spring was around it would be a waste not to have all solar cells up and running. Looking outside it seemed like Sollas had an hour or two before the sunrays would start giving off power around Pearson’s area. He rose and went into his workroom to get his tools. Normally people went to his house to get their items repaired, but solar panels attached to a roof where easier to repair on the spot. It looked like LuCiaN had clean up the place through the night, everything were in their logical right place. Tools on shelves placed alphabetically. Wires put in order of color and size. Even his dirty magazines had been hidden out of sight (not logically, but there is a story behind). Sollas put on his work belt and found the commonly used tools for solar cells. He wrote a note to LuCiaN explaining that he would go look at Pearson’s solar cells. There were a high chance of her being somewhere in the house but he wouldn’t disturb her. As much as he love her company, it was a rather small task and she would most likely join him even if she were doing something more needed.

Sollas went out into the fresh air and took a deep breath. Realizing his heart was running wild he took a second to gather his thoughts before walking towards Pearson’s house. The early spring weather was refreshing and calming. It seemed like Pearson was fast asleep as Sollas arrived. ‘No need to wake him up, just need to get the job done as fast as possible.’ With that thought in mind, Sollas went atop the roof. Luckily it seemed like Pearson had been on the roof himself to look at the problem and left his ladder there. It took some time to find the problem, but it was just a loose connection to the ground wire. Probably the work of a small animal.
As Sollas started switching the wiring Pearson appeared “Oh you’re up early ain’t ya?” He asked as he saw Sollas on his roof “Found the problem?
Without changing his focus from his work, Sollas answered, “Yea, it’s a minor problem, should be ready in a minute or two.”
Brilliant I hate when I can’t get my morning tea… Say, why don’t you come down and join me in a cup when you’re done? Got my hands on some great herbs.
Realizing the dryness of his throat, he looked at Pearson and smiled “Sounds like an offer I can’t refuse.”

As Sollas were done drinking tea together with mr. and mrs. Pearson he decided to go home to see what LuCiaN were up to. As always, people were talkative as he went into town. While talking with one of the younger scavengers he saw that Madeline, one of the newest members of their small community, was sitting on a bench not far from them. As they finished their small talk, he decided to go and talk with her for a little. She were one of the few he didn’t know much about. Of course, he had heard the story of how a scavenging team had found her, and he had been to Marble’s place a couple of times after her appearance, but never really been able to talk with her.
“Hey Maddie.” He sat down, leaning towards the backrest on the bench. “How are you doing?” He smiled with a calm face. She was eating a juicy apple “Looks tasty.” He added.

All Systems Active.

Shortly after the movement in the house had subsided, LuCiaN had booted up. Rising from the chair she shut herself down in, it wasn't a bed for her, but she used it anyway, it seemed more logical to sleep in the chair where she could rise easier and be able to combat any threat that decided to come in. Moving on, she walked out into the workshop area she had cleaned late last night. Though, as something to her creator, she took out his dirty magazines (Story behind this... XD), walking out back she used the flamethrower Sollas installed in her left arm. Needless to say, the magazines didn't last more than thirty seconds to the nice flame that came out. After that she turned and walked into the house again, taking up her battle ax, and placing it on her back, which it altered to look more like wings on her back. Most knew that the wings were just the weapon she had built herself, but it kept them out of the way of anything else. Moving was another thing with her, where as most androids had wheels or moved rather stiffly, she moved rather swiftly, and more like a human than anything else. Within a few minutes, someone already asked for her help with a few chores, washing the camp's clothes. LuCiaN, being a part of the Scavenge Team, wasn't keen to washing clothes, but knew she'll be asked anyway. She was sent to get the dirty clothes from the civilians and first went to Sollas' place, taking some of his dirty clothes, but then went to Sollas, and spoke, sounding rather human-ish,

"Laundry day. You come with me." she said with a harsh tone, seeing that he's been wearing the same clothes for several days, she was going to wash them. Though she did look at the second, the woman her and the scavenge team had found relatively recently, "Good morning, Madeline, are you enjoying the nice morning?"

Madeline was not sure how she felt about most people in the settlement. And she was sure there opinion on her was somewhat the same. So it was mildly surprising to have Sollas come talk to her. Taking a bite from her apple she formulated a reply in her head, each one seemed rather rude... And each time she thought she'd settled on a way to say hello that did not make her sound like she'd been raised by wolves Granny Marble's harsh scolding returned to her head... - MADELINE! You've been here a whole year and you've barely made a friend try sounding decent would you, little scavenger! - Re-thinking her hello a final time Madeline finally settled on one... And then LuCiaN showed up. Letting out a long exhale of breath Madeline wondered why she'd even revealed she could talk? She could have probably kept up the lie she was mute for allot longer then she had. But no after several months of pure silence she'd gone and blown it by saying one sarcastic comment and revealing she could talk all along. It would have been best to leave her in the city.

Tilting her head slightly to look at LuCian Madeline blinked. "G'morning Lucy... I'm enjoying it I guess." Madeline took another bite from her apple and eyed the core of what was left. "I'm done breakfast. So il be leaving now!" Dammit! Did she have to sound so harsh??? Her good-morning had been decent but noooo she just had to go and sound like she could bite off LuCiaN's head! A-class way to make friends Madeline. Sitting up Madeline threw her apple core into a compost bin in one of the nearby houses, her precision and throwing arm was impressive and the apple landed where it was suppose too. With a small victorious smirk Madeline stood and stretched cracking her wrist and neck as she thought about what to do next. If Lucy and Sollas did not need her help Granny Marble might want to do some cleaning... But being cooped up on a day like this would really drive her insane.

Deciding to wander around Madeline headed toward the town exit where the odd passerby could be found. It was rare people came by lately but she could always hope something more interesting then cleaning laundry or picking apples dropped by in the form of a visitor. Of course if it was some dangerous idiot she might be able to get her frustration out by leaving them a few bruises. As she neared the town's small exit that was partially hidden by trees when, she heard the sound of... Was that a truck? Those things did not run anymore? Or at least not many of them. Madeline watched with a suspicious angry glare as some motor revving moron blazed by and jumped out of his vehicle. He pointed a gun at her and Madeline froze her eyes narrowing into a sharp glare as she swatted the barrel out of her face her eyes telling him that she was NOT having any of this. He wasn't the first of his kind to come by waving a gun and causing a fuss, and generally you got those types of idiots to leave by answering there questions, letting them know they had no business and letting them go there way.

Glen woke up in the ATS he so politely stole from an old military base inside the city, looked out the window and thought to himself, "Would be a nice day if I wasn't in the fucking city still." He started up the ats, and headed for the border. Ran into a few stragglers on the way, but he let the tires take care of them. He enjoyed driving, it was the only thing that really cleared his head. He was headed for another abandoned outpost, about 17 miles east of the city. Before his squad died, they heard word of a settlement a few miles from the outpost, and he was secretly planning to stash some goods and bring them to it, but since he was alone, there was no need to be secretive. He was 6 miles from the outpost when he saw it. What looked like a calm, quiet little town. "Well look what we fuckin got here boys". He figured the town would be running amok with them, glitches. "Little pit stop for fun wont kill me, or maybe it will, who the fuck knows.". He had developed a habit of talking to himself, which made sense, he had been riding solo for about 6 weeks now.

Glen pulled into the town, stopped the ATS sideways in the middle of the road, grabbed his Marxsys, and hopped out the drivers side. He noticed a girl walking towards him, about 16. He figured she was a survivor considering she didnt look infected, but put his gun to her head all the same. She immediately rolled her eyes and swatted the barrel out of her face. He didn't know how to react, so he holstered it. "Who the fuck are you and why are you still alive?"

"I'm Madeline, and I'm alive because Im not infected you moron, we're all alive because we're not infected."

"What?"

This response had stunned Glen somewhat, since the Task force he was a part of, was told the only surviving members of society were infected, and the only safe house was the masons underground temple in the heart of the forest.

"I said, I'm not infected, and nobody in this town is. Why are you here?"

" I came here to kill glitches, figured I'd have a field day before hitting the old military outpost about 6 miles east of here. But hell, you got people, I could use people"

"I'm not the one to ask, and can you please put that gun away, your going to scare people."

"Oh, right." Glen tossed the marxsys in the ATS, on the passenger side seat.

"Talk to Soll, Blue hair, he might be able to help you".

Glen thought for a minute, still somewhat baffled that 1. A teenage girl just called him a moron,
and 2. That people were, well, that people were alive.
He was a 33rd degree, a title that, even on masonic papers, didn't exist. And they had the audacity to keep something like that from him. "My squad were the only fucking reason master Jorgés was still alive. That fuckin moron and his "No guns in the safe room" policy. Glitches found us, and we had swords. FUCKING SWORDS. Oh well, couple heads rolling around like that, bastard can burn in glitch-hood for all i give a fuck." Was exactly what went through Glen's mind.

He hopped back in the ATS, and started looking for some character named Soll and his hopefully outstanding blue hair.

Madeline watched with particular disdain as Glen drove into town. She did not like this guy... She did not like him ONE BIT. Narrowing her eyes into a sharp cat like glare she balled her hands into fists and headed back into town. She could beat Glen if she took the round-bout shortcut through the trees and thorn bushes. It was not particularly painful as Madeline was use to pain but the annoying sting only drove her to move faster and get back to the center of town sooner.

When she got back Madeline was pleased to find Sollas and LuCiaN still talking where she'd left them. She jogged to stand in front of the pair her legs stinging with the scratchy feeling of thorns. "There's a man with a gun coming into town... I don't know what he wants... But I told him to look for Sollas... After the moron shoved a gun barrel in my FACE!" She let out an annoyed growl and continued. "I don't like him. And I SUGGEST... We prepare." Madeline was never one to sound urgent but she tried to make it clear that the new comer was not one to be trusted in her opinion. And if the defensive way she stood did not give that away she was sure the sharp glare she cast to the road as she heard the rumble of an engine sure gave it away.

Sollas could see that Madeline was thinking about how to respond to him. Not that it was hard to analyze. She took herself a lot of time to respond to his greeting. Sollas couldn’t help himself and let out a slight chuckle. Just as it seemed like she had decided on something LuCiaN appeared.
Laundry day. You come with me.” She said with a harsh tone in her voice. ‘Why was it that I gave her a way to change her voice’ He thought as he changed his gaze towards the thing LuCiaN was looking at. Him… Or rather his clothes.
“Come on Lucy it’s not been that long.” He responded before thinking about how long he had been wearing his tank top beneath his jacket.

… So I’ll be leaving now!” Looking towards Madeline again, he decided to ignore her harsh farewell. “See you around Maddie.” Sollas stood up and went closer to LuCiaN.
“By the way Lucy, don’t you think that you should be doing something else than laundry?” He went with another smile “You know what happened last time… I had to waterproof every single part that wasn’t already waterproof. And as if that wasn’t enough…” He started trying to come with logical explanations of why she shouldn’t do laundry, on the fly. They were weak and the story he referred to was from a long time ago considering her age. To be honest Sollas was just trying to get around the hassle of getting a new set of clothes. Besides this was his favorite tank top, which she probably knew.

In the middle of their conversation, Madeline came back. “… And I SUGGEST… We prepare.” Sollas took a little time to look her over to see if she was serious. No doubt, she was serious. The rumbling noise of a motor only verified her statement.
“Lucy… I want you to stand back while I talk to him.” He looked at her with serious eyes “But prepare yourself. I might have to count on your strength once more.”
He changed his gaze back to Madeline again “Thank you for warning me Maddie.” He forced a smile. He could feel his heart rate going up. “Please stay by Lucy while I settle these matters.” ‘Hopefully…
Sollas turned towards the approaching ATS. He put his hand into the air to greet the traveler in the car. “Welcome to our little settlement. Anything I can do for you?”

Glen was rather suprised at the way Soll had greeted him, considering he put a gun in that girls face. He hopped out of the ATS, and was met by a swinging battleaxe and one simple sentence.

"Well, I didn't know if she was human, and I need your help. And a piece of advice, swing your axe on a 45% angle, that way I can't dodge."

Lucian seemed to have calmed down enough for him to move. Glen waived Soll over, so the two could have some privacy. Lucian followed, Glen didn't mind. Except he couldn't think of what to say.

He pondered for a moment, and decided to be straight with him.

"Look, I need your help. I'm planning on raiding the old military outpost about 6 miles east of here. I'll let you keep a quarter the take, I'll take what I need, the rest will be shared with the town. Then, I'll be on my way" Glen was hoping that he didn't take the latter part seriously, sleeping in the back of the ATS was getting quite uncomfortable. It had been weeks since he'd seen a warm bed and a good meal.

He had the blueprints of the outpost, and from what he'd seen in the old shipping reports, there would be about 2 months worth of food, various small arms and ammunition, and a small amount of medical equipment. He kept this from Soll, he didn't know enough about him to trust him with the real reason he was going there. It had been a testing facility. An evolutionary virus, from what he had gathered from other outposts and bases. Based on the paper, it looked like this could be the facility that started the glitch. And, he hoped, could be the place where an immunity could be found. This, in truth, was his mission. He was now his own master, and he was going to find a way to end it, or die trying. He was getting old, creaky, not quite as spry as he once was. He knew, that in the back of his mind, if Soll didn't agree to this, tomorrow would most likely be his last day.

As Sollas had complained about laundry, which was normal for him. She understood engineers didn't wanna drop things to do such rudimentary tasks such as cleaning. Thus LuCiaN was the one whom cleaned, and cooked, and took out the trash, and all that sort, needless to say, Sollas would probably end up in a mountain of trash if she wasn't around- yet something interrupted her, someone saying the few key words that activates her defense protocol,

'There's a man with a gun coming into town... I don't know what he wants... But I told him to look for Sollas... After the moron shoved a gun barrel in my FACE!'

LuCiaN, before Sollas could even speak, had her battle protocol ready, and by convenience she noticed the man, she charged, not listening to the suggestions Sollas had made, her battle ax was forming into her hand as she moved. Before much in a response could be made, she swung, stopping a few inches from the man's head, and spoke,

"Give me two reasons that I should not end you here." she asked, with a minute tone of aggression.

Sollas couldn’t do anything other than watch as his plan of solving the new problem calmly was ruined by a combination of angered electronics and too much testosterone. Moreover, as if that wasn’t enough, people had started gathering around them looking at the conflict that was happening in their normally peaceful village.

… Give me two reasons that I should not end you here."
Sollas walked up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder “One, people are around and watching.” He got eye contact with her “Two, I told you to stand down.” His eyes were glaring at her with determination. Sollas hate having to talk to her that way, but the fact that if she attack a human, even if he seems a little aggressive, people might start asking questions about her A.I. Everyone have heard stories of robots going mad and start killing people as if they were glitch.
“So as I said before. Stand down!.. I…” He was just about to say three words he wish for never to be in need of saying to her, but stopped at the first. He changed his glare towards the man in front of him now “And never point a gun at one from this settlement ever again, this is the first and last warning!” Sollas was losing his cool for a moment but regained it and walked up to the man to listen to his request. He kept an eye on the man’s hands just in case.

…Then, I'll be on my way." Sollas was silent for a minute while thinking this through. The settlement they were living in were built upon democracy. Yet, lately he had started feeling that most people followed him in his decisions, so he needed to be sure to make the right choice. “Okay listen here… Guy… You’re a smart guy so you can think what it is like to be in my position. I can’t command people to follow you into something that you say is worth risking life for…” ‘But it would indeed be nice to get some food for next winter.’ It was a hard decision. A military base far away was it actually abandoned or were the man in front of him asking for help to kill… Humans?

Sollas felt a weak shake starting in his left hand, fast hiding it behind his back. The stress of life-taking decisions. “I need more information about this base before I can make a final decision.” The worst thing about the man In front of him was that Sollas wasn’t able to read him. And the tension was getting thicker the longer they stood with half a town observing. “A thing that might help me decide would be if you could leave those weapons while we go get something to drink and talk about all the details…” Sollas took a fast look at LuCiaN and back at Glen again pointing at LuCiaN “She will join the table.”

Madeline hated people. But she hated even more being out of the loop. More so when the loop included a man with a gun blazing into town. So despite not being allowed per-say in the local bar Madeline found another way to listen in. By climping onto the roof of the bar she was able to wait and no one had the gall or authority to get her down so she was left alone up there to listen in on what she could, from the conversation happening seemingly without her.

Cease order received............LuCiaN

Scanning map......Map of Fortification Match...

"This fort should be different..."

As LuCiaN analyzed the map with ease, she looked up at the man with her cold red eyes before speaking, "The map you have is a basic map that they give each soldier. It shows the layout of the fortification, but does not tell where defensive positions are. I am immune to most of the traps and the glitches cannot harm me. I shall go." Her words were about as lifeless as her body was. Luci knew that she could withstand most anything in the way of bullets and cannon fire, though there was one problem, her protocol says that Sollas must be protected at all costs, that, and she had doubts that Sollas would even let the poor android do that type of mission. Though she knew that any gasses or lack of air had no sort of phasing to her either, she looked at the two men, before speaking to the woman on the roof,

"Madeline, I know you are up there. You can come down now. Sollas and Glen should know by now too." she said, now looking at the results of the scan, Luci was one of the few people whom could, or rather, would be ballsy enough to tell Madeline what to do. Though her Ax did make it hard for the waiters around her, they did stick out like wings.

Madeline wasn't really shocked when she heard LuCiaN's demanding voice. She knew the robot was designed for this sort of thing. With the skills of a self trained acrobat Madeline slid down the to the door and flipped herself inside to catch Glen showing off a log book. Walking over Madeline picked over LuCiaN's shoulder, she could not read perfectly due to her strange upbringing but she could recognize allot of the words. A doctor? Madeline sneered. "Yeah, that's what they always tell you isnt it?" She gave a sick smirk and imitated the 'doctor' who'd been her guardian for most of her childhood: "I'm a doctor don't worry now settle down or the needle will hurt." Madeline gritted her teeth together and touched her shoulder defensively, she'd been a lab rat in her lifetime already and knowing there were more 'doctors' out there only set her on a hell bent form of rage. But she would stay calm, for now no use snapping at LuCiaN or Sollas, after all if Lucy wanted she could just chuck Madeline out the door like a foot-ball. Not that Madeline would let her. Sitting down Madeline gave a harsh look to anyone who came near to try and get her to leave, age or nothing now she was intrigued, albeit slightly and she did mean it when she said slightly concerned for her... acquaintances?

Sollas looked over all the information Glen had given. Food, weapons and medicine, was something that would make the village prosper. However, the thing that was stuck in his head was the chance of this seemingly old military outpost being the outbreak point of the Glitch. Sollas analyzed the logbook, while taking a gulp of the town homebrew. ‘I can’t let this information get out before I’ve seen if it is true or not.

Sollas looked Madeline over as she took a seemingly hurt stance. Thinking that he should ask her if something was wrong for a second, but deciding that the matter at hand was much more pressing. He took his time to think, as the booth got silent. Finally opening his eyes, after what felt like an eternity, he got eye contact with Glen “Alright, if what you tell is true I want more than what you are offering. Hear me out before you make a counter offer. If we get out alive I want 75% of the supplies we scavenge, be it food, weapons or medicine. I also want a copy of any information we gather in there, I am not going to just get supplies if there is a chance of us getting information on what the Glitch truly is.”

He crossed his arms and continued. “… I suggest the four of us go. You have the information on the place and you surely have some that you haven’t told us yet, plus it seems like you know how to take down Glitch with those weapons of yours. Lucy is our strongest member in this village and as she said herself, she is indeed immune to most things that we might encounter. Maddie even though she doesn’t look like the toughest person around here, she has been able to survive in the big city by herself for god knows how long. And I as the last, I am the one with most knowledge of old technology you’ll be able to find these days. If it is true what you say you will need me to get the information on the top floor without damaging it in the process. Plus if the security system isn’t too strong, I might be able to immobilize or weaken it with a wire here and there.”

Sollas leaned back and took another gulp of his drink “Do we have a deal?”

LuCiaN looked at Glen, and spoke, hostility could be told from her voice, "You are not going in alone. I shall accompany you. Unless you wish to die." she snapped, Sollas had given her a personality, well not too much, but she slowly grew one from her experiences with people, that hostile tone, was from Madeline, but none the less was something she picked up. LuCi then spoke to Sollas, not as hostile, but still with the tone Madeline would give him,

"What do you mean by 'If we get out Alive'? You should rephrase that Sollas, I do believe you mean 'when we make it back alive.' Instead of being so hard." she replied, needless to say, what confidence LuCi had in her programming had shown, something from Sollas there. But needless to say, LuCiaN would ensure Sollas and Madeline would make it back, though Glen was a Different story.

Madeline would never admit she was slightly flattered by Sollas words but she could not help the small swell of pride she got from having it recognized that she was strong. Silently listening as the negotiations continued Madeline could not help but give a smirk when Luci snapped, if she kept practicing she might get as good as herself one day. When Madeline finally spoke it was in order to agree with LuCian. "Yeah Sollas, aren't you suppose to be Mr.Sunny your gonna have me there of course were gonna make it back... How do you think I survived in the big city? Because the answer isn't rolling over and playing dead." Although it had worked once to convince a Glitch she was dead but... She wasn't gonna bring that up. Crossing her legs Madeline observed everyone sitting around her, she was happy to get out of town but she wasn't very comfortable with the idea of going along with Glen, she did not trust him in anyway but she supposed she would have to set aside her trust issues and keep in mind that under the circumstance he did turn out to be crazy she'd just kill him or leave him to be Glitch food. A gruesome thought by all means but for the sake of survival a necessary one. Realizing that she was glaring in the older mans general direction she put on a face of plain boredom and diverted her attention to the bar entrance.

Sollas leaned back and took another gulp of his drink “Do we have a deal?”

"Deal. Just don't get yourselves hurt." He was speaking to Madeline more than anyone else, he didn't want to see her get hurt, she was too young in his opinion.

"Let's go, grab what you'll need, and meet my by the ATS in 30."

Glen, Madeline, Soll, and Lucian piled in the ATS, and made their way to the outpost. It was a nice drive, the forest was thick with vegetation. If it wasn't the end of the world, Glen would have drove in this forest all day. He was a relaxed driver for the most part, but he still kept an eye out for any stragglers. Then he saw it, the outpost.

"Get on the 40!" He barked towards the back.

Sollas pat Glen on the shoulder ”I’m on it.” He said as he ended his conclusion on who would be best to put on the gun. LuCiaN had her own weapons and fighting style, and he couldn’t say that he knew how good of an aim Madeline is. He went close to Madeline and whispered into her ear. “If shit goes wrong, don’t hesitate to take care of yourself… Don’t play a hero… Just… Run.” Sollas would not be able to live with himself if the ones he had gotten into this would get hurt any way. Especially not if they had a chance to get out alive. He looked at LuCiaN “Let’s do this.” He ended with a smile on his lips and manned the 40.cal

Sollas loaded the belt onto the HMG. A loud click-sound could be heard as he loaded the first bullet manually. “I’m ready up here.” He said in a loud voice. “I hope you are right about this Glen… It could really change things around here.” He said to no one in particular as he started to observe the scenery.

"Must I engage in combat?"

LuCiaN looked at Sollas, "Sollas. Are you sure you can handle that weapon...?" she asked remembering the time he was test firing one of her guns, and she ended up unintentionally backhanding him like one of those kung-fu movies. Needless to say, the weapon took him off guard, and Sollas had a real great contusion from it. Though pulling up to the base was something that LuCi had noticed, and then a 'Ping!' happened. Motion tracker picked up something, it wasn't a great motion tracker, but it functioned well with her combat. Yet there was another 'Ping!' and soon the noise became rapid. LuCiaN jumped through the hatch Stollas had opened and prepared her Ax, and began to combat the cluster of Glitches that came by hearing the ATS.

"Sollas! There is another pack of Glitches to the left flank of the ATS. Fire at your will." she said before cutting down three glitched, before noticing something, something was on her, a glitch, thinking she was human, had began to try and make a meal of her neck. As she watched, she smirked and spoke,

"Not much of a meal there. Is there?" she asked, hinting some sarcasm, someone was picking up on Madeline's lessons of sarcasm. She took the Glitched's head off, and continued her slaughter of Glitches.

Madeline rolled her eyes ignoring Sollas, she supposed she should be... Flattered really but she could and had handled herself thus far he need not worry on her. As for readiness well Madeline took no time zipping by her home to grab her favorite machete and handgun, she was also sure Glen had a few weapons hanging around the tank he called a home. Jumping in the back with Sollas Madeline admired the scenery until the outpost came into view and with the outpost came another view, Glitches. Of course they'd been eying the ATS for awhile now probably being the weaker kind they were probably hopping to catch a bite by swarming.

Madeline shot Glen and Sollas a glance as she felt the adrenaline begin to pump. "You heard the lady Sollas cover the left I've got the right side, Glen... Try not to loose your head." And with that Madeline took her side and began firing, for the Glitches that came over it was easy to knock them off and away but for the ones still at a running distance a well aimed bullet to the eye was all it took to make them disperse, hopefully giving LuCiaN some room to work her violent magic.
