Henry Nakai

Pride and strength are all he has left...and even that's not much.

a character in “Taking Control”, as played by digikun

Description

Image

Name: Henry Nakai

Age: 14

Alter

Batch Number: 11

Length at Institute:13

Standing: Good

Appearance: Diminutive, even for his age, Henry stands at 4'5", however with the odd duality of weighing 180 lbs. Henry's body is incredibly and unrealistically muscular for his age. He's actually very self conscious of this, knowing that it isn't normal at all and hates being the center of attention, so he prefers to wear baggy, over sized clothing. His hair is jet black, but also grows at an exceptional rate, causing the scientists to cut his hair almost daily prior to his escape. His eyes are a pale orange, and his nails are slightly longer and much tougher than normal human nails.

Personality: Henry has a temper, but he does his best to hold this back. He often gets angry over having others try to control and/or restrain him, but especially when confronted with the scientists and hunters. Otherwise, he is caring and protective of his friends, and will do everything within his power to keep them safe from harm. He is a curious kid, willing to try new things and actually accepts when he isn't capable of doing things that are just beyond his natural ability. Henry doesn't take jokes very well, looking at most things in a very serious manner. He sees those who joke too much as incompetent, and not taking anything seriously.

Abilities/Gifts: His body had been mixed with lion and horse DNA. The intent was to create a soldier that would have an incredible amount of power with the lion DNA, but also create a body that required little to no sleep while maintaining boundless energy like a horse. Henry gained an incredible amount of strength as a result, giving him more power than that of grown adults, equating him to amateur power lifters. He also has stamina to allow him a mere two hours of sleep a day, but still keep going for extended periods of activity at a time.

Weakness: While Henry can accomplish almost superhuman feats of strength and endurance, there is a side effect to using his incredible power. Generating enough force to perform such acts requires a great deal of energy on his part. While Henry can theoretically keep awake for days on end without tire, his body requires the calories found in foods otherwise he will quickly tire from hunger and exhaustion in a matter of hours, should he excessively use his strength.

History: Henry was born to immigrant parents who had moved from Japan to live with family. He was the newest addition to a family of five, having been born with two older brothers. It was no more than a month after his first birthday that he had been taken from his crib, never to be seen again. To this day, Henry has dreams of faceless people long forgotten, speaking a language he barely understands.

(Future) Hobbies: Despite his gruff and rough exterior, he actually is a creative soul, finding much fascination in the world around him, particularly also of fantasy stories found in books and movies. He likes to take up a pencil and sketch out these fantastical worlds, or at least what he imagines them to be.

So begins...

(Sorry guys, edited post -_-;;)

The air. It was so fresh and cool. It smelled completely different from the filtered, medicated odors of the inside. Henry looked around, alarms were already going off through the facility, so he had to hurry. The last thing he wanted was to be hauled back to the institute. Henry bounded across the field and ripped apart the metal fence in front of him in a matter of seconds. Still taking too long. Had to hurry, otherwise they're going to get him again. The broken fence scraped against his skin as he squeezed through the opening in the fence.

Bare feet scraped against rocks and branches as he hurried into the forest, his sight greatly hindered by the darkness. "Goddammit, where am I..." He slowed down when he was sure no one was around, looking around frantically. He was sure he had seen some others escape at the same time, but he had lost track of them when he had been busy with the fence.

He suddenly heard a lot of noise coming from around him. One came from a bush and another came from what sounded like it was above him. He kept moving forward, looking around as he did so. By chance, he looked up and saw a girl in a hospital gown, similar to his. She was looking around, almost spooked. "What are you doing ??" He called out as softly as he could. "We need to keep running! We're dead if we stay here!"

Jade

She watched the area below her tree barely breathing. A small girl crawled out of the bushes looking somewhat ruffled and cut up, and only moments later a muscular looking teenage boy appeared in the clearing on the other side of the bush. While she was trying to figure out the best course of action in getting out of the situation and far away, the boy stopped. The only thought in her mind was Please don't notice the girl.

Truth be told, she probably should be more worried about herself than the girl, but the girl was so little and fragile looking that it went against her very nature to just leave the girl to whatever would happen to her on her own. So, when the boy asked her what she was doing, she responded. "I was hiding from you. I thought you were one of them."

She swung down from the tree, between the boy and the bush, landing with a heavy thud due to her excessive muscle weight. Just keep him away from the girl. Don't let her get hurt. She smiled at the boy trying to distract him from the small girl. "Let's go."

Surprised at the girl that came down with a literally earth shaking thud, Henry simply stared at her as she tried to hurry the both of them along. Henry was going to go with her, but he started to look around. "Alright, but let's try to find anyone else that may need our help...I'm sure we're not the only ones who escaped...by the way?" He asked, leading the way away from the institute. "You wouldn't have happened to see anyone else have you?"

Esme was startled as she heard the voice of a boy, a small squeak escaped her lips. The boy was on the other side of the bush, she peeked around it to see if she could get a good look of him. He was also dressed in a hospital gown like herself and he was very muscular and bigger then her. Just as she was going to run the other a way a girl jumped out of the tree, landing in front of the bush and she was unable to see the guy anymore. Listening to them speak she started taking a few steps back. She didn't know them, she couldn't trust them...what if they were them just trying to trick her.

Before the other two could say anything to her she was running on all four again, she wasn't sure how much longer she was going to last. She was getting tired, her throat was dry and she was feeling very parched. As she got farther into the forest it seemed to get darker. She was afraid to stop though, the hunters are out there and looking for her and the other alters that must of escaped.

As she was running she lost her footing again but this time she ran into someone. As she gathered herself up she was now looking up at a women that resembled a tree. Backing up against a big rock she felt she was trapped "P-pl…" she tried to speak but the words she wanted to speak were hard for her to get out "ea-ease n-noo h... urts" she stuttered out as she looked up at the older women.

She kept in her crouched position, trying to stay low believing that might help her. Her eyes never met the women's afraid that something may happen if she did. One question that kept popping in her head was why this women looked familiar to the other trees around, but she wasn't wearing a hospital gown. This had to be a hunter, maybe they were using alters and training them to be hunters. They had to be. "N...no m..e b..b...back" she tried to tell the women to not bring her back but she just couldn't make out the words.

The women would know she was different just by looking at her skin, the black and white tiger stripes have marked her. Making her a freak forever, even if she did make it out to the world she would have to stay hidden forever. The thought made her wonder if this running away was even worth it. The unwanted tears dripped down her cheek from her hazel eyes, making her look even more vunerable looking then she already was.

Jade

Jade looked behind her as she heard faint sounds of scuffling fading away, then grimaced in response to the boy's question. "Am I that obvious?" She was certain that the girl had run away anyway. "No offense, but it was a little girl, and I don't really trust you. Regardless, she's gone now and we should really get as far away from here as possible. You can come with me if you want. I'll help you look for others."

Jade felt she could take care of herself if the boy tried anything, and at least the terrified looking child was not someone she really needed to worry about. Hopefully she ran into someone willing to take care of her and keep her safe.

Coming to a screeching halt, Henry looked back at the girl. "You saw what?! Why didn't you say anything?? We can't just leave a little girl here!" He stood there, conflicted however, knowing that should he go back, there was a strong chance that he and the girl he was with would be captured, helping nobody in the process. "Dammit, let's just keep moving forward...!" Henry muttered to himself as he and the girl worked their way through the forest. He could hear some loud noises, not sure if they were friendly or not.

Looking over, he saw a big soldier, looking like he was literally deforesting the surroundings to look for them. The guy was big. Probably thought he was a bad ass, knocking down trees with his bare fists. But as much as Henry would have loved to knock the soldier down flat, he probably had friends close by. He pulled the girl by her wrists, telling her to hide. He pulled them both behind a tree, though Henry found that he had to put in a lot of effort, much more than he expected to pull her. Just how strong was this girl? Henry had to admit, the others probably developed greater strength than he, but now was not the time for that. He peered out to make sure the behemoth in the guard suit didn't notice them.

As the women crouched down Esme eyes went wide, the women then reached out her hand to Esme. Esme just stared at the women unsure of what to do, there was no way she could run from the women. She was so much smaller and she was already tired. As the women spoke Esme body slightly relaxed but was still tensed. Could she trust this women? Was she telling the truth? The thoughts kept running wild in her mind as she tried to figure out what to do.

Tentively Esme reached our her bloody and shaky hand, leaves, grass, and dirt sticking to the sticky pads on them. Her hand slowly landed into the older womens'. She could feel the different texture in the others hand and was a little curious of what kind of secies this women was made with. But this wasn't the time for those kind of questions. The women said she was here to help her, she really wanted to believe the older women, she hasn't had anyonein her life act like this toward her. The scientists were always rough, not caring how she was treated, she was just another experiment to them.

Closing her eyes for a moment she tried to figure out the words that she wanted to say, her face appeared to be deep in concentration. After a few moments her eyes slowly opened "Es...esme tr..tr...trust y...yew?" she asked questionally as she pointed to herself with her free hand then pointed at the women.

Thinking about the girl and the boy she saw early, she looked in the direction she came from. The direction the institute was "m..more y..yes" she nodded her head "m..more us" she said as she gripped the womens hand a little. She was afraid of getting caught, afraid of being locked up in the cages. "T...their co..comin f..for u..us" she whimpered softly slowly moving herself closer to the women.

Jade

As they were walking through the trees, they were moving too slow to make Jade comfortable. This only increased when the boy stopped to fuss over the little girl. She felt bad for not doing more for the girl, but being in a large group would make them more noticeable. A little girl would be easy to capture or use as a hostage if they were confronted. It seemed to her, that even though the complexities of keeping the girl away from this boy were not things that ran through her mind, once they did, she did not regret her decision. It seemed truly better for everyone if they were going to find more of the people like them.

Jade realized that she was paying more attention to the boy's muttering and her own conscious when the boy abruptly pulled her behind a tree. If she had been any lighter, it probably would have yanked her off her feet. She freaked a little bit at the sudden and rather rough human contact, but forced herself to calm down when she realized that he wouldn't have done it without purpose.

She realized there was what equated to a giant crashing though the forest a ways away from the tree they were hiding behind. If I'm going to hide, I'm going to hide well. She thought as she tree they were hiding behind almost with out the boy noticing. She reached her hand below her once she was up in the tree."Quick. Grab on."

Silver

They had been gone for ages it seemed. Ever since the computers had registered a break in security at The Institute, Pomona and Emery had been out looking for others like them. Those that the scientists had altered. She was stressed waiting, but she was prone to curling up into a little ball and weeping from stress as well as panic attacks. The last thing that the terrified and probably violent alters needed was to have one of their rescuers become as helpless as a baby in a matter of seconds. So she was on base duty, and the only thing she could do for now was worry.

"Stay the fuck away from me!" Brick shouted angrily as yet another branch whipped his face, for once he cursed his size. He grabbed the thin branch and snapped it of before he used it to crush another one. hmm he thought and looked down on the branch, which had turned out to be thicker than he had thought when he snapped it. This will work a little, evil grin crossed his face as he started to use it as a machete, but then Brick froze... he wasn't sure, but it had been some sound behind him. "who's there?" he said with a low and dangerous tone, if anyone was planning on ambushing him; they would have to think twice. With deep breaths through his nose he started to sniff after whoever was around. Turning around in circles as he did so, the branch lifted like a baseball-bat, ready to strike at a moments notice.

He could pick up a weak sent of something that definitely didn't belong in the forest... Humans. Half a minute later he where able to locate the sent, coming from a tree. Brick stopped his turning and faced it. "You got exactly two seconds before I come over there and beat the living hell out of you" he said in an angry voice, making it clear he wasn't joking. "one" he said slowly, starting his countdown.

Dammit...

Henry heard the monster soldier. He definitely knew they were there. How he found them was a whole other issue. He looked up at the girl, trying to get him to climb the tree. But that was clearly a bad idea now. Not only would they be trapped, but with the way he was tearing through the forest, he'd have them caught in no time.

The boy had a plan. Oh it was a simple plan. Though it would probably work. At least as a distraction. He looked up at the girl and shook his head. "No, instead I want you to get down. I'll distract him, and we'll both make a run for it." Once he heard the guy counting however, he knew there was no time to think. Henry had to act now. "Get down!" Henry shouted at her as he took a step back and charged at the tree with everything he had. The tree slowly creaked and cracked but soon came tumbling down towards the soldier. His heart was racing. Henry panted. That...took way too much... But it would have to do for now.

Pomona

The small hand slid into Pomona's and the woman's heart melted just at little at the realization that this poor little girl had been stuck in the institution all her life. The rough finger's closed around the child's just enough to provide comfort. She gave the child her full attention as she listened, taking in every word the little girl said.

"Let's go help the other's shall we?" asked Pomona once the child had finished speaking. Without the little girl's permission the woman leaned forward and scooped the child into her arms and began walking forward. The child looked tired, and Pomona didn't have time for her to wait for her.

"We're going to look after you now, little tiger," Pomona assured her, giving the child's nose a light and playful tap. With the little girl in her arms Pomona jogged back through the forest in the direction the little girl had come; her eyes were alert for any signs of other alters. Her pace slowed when she heard trees being ripped from the ground. On instinct she set the little girl down behind a bush.

"Stay here," she instructed then turned to investigate what was going on. When she stepped around the trunk of a large tree the scene before her caused her to leap into action without thinking. She recognized the faces of three terrified alters. Two of them were standing together off to the side while a tree fell on top of another who was dressed in a guard's uniform, but she knew he wasn't a guard because of his unnatural stature. She bounded forward, barreling into the alter who was about to be hit by a tree and managed to knock him to the ground just out of reach of the tree.

Together they fell to the ground where she lay with the wind knocked out of her and the forest spinning above her.

"What....wh....what were y...you...think....th...thinking?" she gasped from where she lay, directing her speech at the two alters still standing.

Emery

Emery's heart flew when a blur of white climbed from the bush in front of Rosie. A smile coaxed it's way onto the man's lips and he did his best to look friendly and non-threatening. Emery needed this alter to trust him if he was going to save him. Rosie sat nuzzling the arm of the alter, happy she had succeeded in her job.

"I was. I escaped with two other alters, and we've been watching the institute ever since in hopes more of you would escape. We want to help you and get you away from here. Do you know if any other alters managed to escape?...I'm Emery by the way, and this is Rosie." Emery patted the head of Rosie before holding out his hand to the blur of white in greeting.

"Oh, and it might be important for you to know that I'm mostly blind. I can't really see you."

Violet

Violet listened to the two men near her speaking. The one in the bush was an alter like her. She could tell by the white shift he wore which was identical to hers, but she didn't reveal herself even when Emery asked if other alters had escaped. She had no idea if she could trust this man. For all she knew he could be one of the scientists disguised to come and collect them. She didn't want to take that chance.

Her mind changed when she heard the man with the dog say he was blind. Something about that weakness made her muscles relax and gave her the urge to creep out from where she was hiding. He had told the other alter he had been one of them once and wanted to help them. He was looking for all the escaped alters which meant he was looking for her too.

As she crouched in her hiding place Violet contemplated the dangers of trusting this man she had never met. She could either trust him and potentially get taken back to the institute or rely on her instincts in a world she didn't understand. After a few moments of contemplation Violet stepped out from her hiding place. She figured she would be safer going with the blind man than relying on her very minimal amount of knowledge about the world around her. If she did get into trouble Violet felt she was capable enough to escape from a blind man.

"I'm one of the escaped alters too," she announced in a clear voice void of fear. She might be willing to trust him, but she wasn't ready to let him know how frightened she really was.

Brick placed his feet broad and made sure that he had a good grip before he prepared himself for grabbing the tree as it came down. He didn't understand that the log would smash him flat like a pancake. The tree closed in, Brick lifted his hands to grab it, and just before the log hit his hands, he was tackled by another tree... Ohh, wait, i wasn't a tree. Brick hit the ground at the same moment as the tree, creating a loud "bang" that echoed through the forest. "Is it really in your concern ?" Brick asked the tree-girl annoyed, Then he quickly got on his feet again. "Ran out of trees coward?" He asked and turned towards the boy who had tried to crush him. "Or do you still wish to give me a bat?" He asked and gave him a evil grin, showing all of his 32 predator teeth. He didn't give a living horse-crap about The girl on The ground. She could suffocate for all he cared.

Riley ‘Scythe’ Cross

Riley silently trekked through the forest, continuously coming on broken branches and tracks of those escaped. It was apparent they were trying to get as far away as possible, not cover their tracks. Riley snickered as he walked through the woods, careful not to step onto any branches or many any loud noises. To do that would cause the escapees to flee, and that would mean more work or his head. But to Riley, this was just a game.

“Well, let’s hope-” Riley’s words were cut off as he heard a loud crashing ahead of him. A grin slid onto his face as he made his way towards them, scythe in his hands. As he trudged on towards the noise, he noticed a group? Yes, a group of experiments, freaks. He watched from a distance, far enough to where they could not see him instantly.

After watching their uninteresting little confrontation, he cleared his throat and tossed them a smile filled with white, sparkling teeth, “Well, this was a little easier than I thought,” He laughed, revealing the large weapon, the sunlight glinting off the metal blade.
“Actually, I like challenges.” He said, walking a little closer, his eyes on the massive man standing there, “Not too fun when you just stand there like idiots.” He said, a cruel smile sliding on his face, his amber eyes filled with a sadistic mischief.

The Institute was in chaos. Quite a few people had escaped recently. Now it was Raizel's turn. He took advantage of the chaos to escape himself. The Institute was like a maze, but he just used the talent he had been give to get out. All those pitch black mazes were finally good for something. He closed his eyes and listened for a sound he had heard since he was seven, but had never gotten close enough to feel. The wind. He ran through the maze following the sound of the wind. Hiding whenever somebody got close. Then he was free. He opened his eyes, looking in awe at his surroundings while he ran. Then it hit him all at once, the sounds. He stopped dead in his tracks and covered his ears, trying in vain to block out even a fraction of the noise. Animals going about their daily business, the wind rustling the trees and the bushes and leaves that lay on the ground, the voices of people nearby, it all hurt. People? Raizel tried to focus on their voices, but the other noises were too much. He couldn't hear what they were saying. Some good his enhanced hearing was. Should I try and get closer? See who they are? But what if they're normal. Unlike me. Raizel's fur-like hair, slit pupils, and nails that are more like claws on his left hand are proof the horrible experiments that were done to him. Raizel decided to take the risk. With one hand still pressed against an ear he moved forward.

All the sounds meant he couldn't quite tell how far away he was to one specific sound. So before he knew it, Raizel could see people. He slipped behind a tree. He had just escaped 18 years of torture, he wasn't going to risk going back.

Virgil

"Hahaha!! Outrunning those four-eyed fools is so much easier than i thought it'd be!" Hmm.. So this is what 'Outside' is. How dull.." Virgilsaid to himself. "Barely 10 minutes away from that droll institute and i'm already bored." Virgil ran through the trees listening for anything of interest. When all the sudden, a loud THUD almost made him trip and wipe out. "What in the... I should go check that out. Beats sitting here talking to myself." And with that, he changed his course towards the noise.

Running at a full sprint, he came upon the scene very quickly. Virgil ran in, jumped atop a fallen tree, and scanned what he could see. "Uh... A monster, a tree lady, a buff dwarf, an adolescent and Mr.Scythe... So apparently this is happening. Hello people with similar clothing to my own. Fellow ex-inmates i'm assuming." He then pointed at the large hairy man. "Hmm... You, are a rather large fellow.." Then he looked over at the armed hunter and grimaced. "Greeeeaaat. Fresh out of the cage and the cat has already pounced."

Just as she finished talking the women picked her up, it was comforting to know she wouldn't have to run and try to keep up with the older women. Esme sighed, a very tiny, rare smile was on her lips as the women told her she was going to take care of her. Shes never had anyone that said that to her, she couldn't help but hold onto the women tighter. The tap to the nose made her scrunch her nose a little, leaning her head against the women's shoulder.

The windflowed against her face as the women jogged back towards where she came from, it made her shake knowing the were going towards the Institute and not away. The women slowed down and Esme could hear the sound of something cracking, her eyes looked around but she couldn't see anything. She was then set down, the women telling her to stay before going off.

Esme crouched, stepping slowly to peak around the bush just in time to see a tree falling and the women pushing someone out of the way. Her eyes went wide, terrified that something happened to the women. The big guy stood up and now she could see two other alters, the ones that she saw earlier were there too. As words were spoken she could see that there was something going on and it didn't sound good at all.

Another voice was heard, a little bit a ways was another guy but not any guy, a hunter. Esme whimpered lightly, moving herself more behind the bosh. They found them, now they would be taken back to the institute. Her body started shaking in fear, her instincts told her to run but she didn't want to leave the women.

A sound near her made her look around, not moving, just using her eyes. She could see the body of someone else hiding behind a tree, she couldn't make them out. She maneuvered herself more behind the bush, no longer able to see the group of others. Her eyes looked towards the open forest, her mind telling her to just flee but instead she just stayed crouched in a ball, waiting for the women to get her, and listening for any sounds of immediate danger.

Henry tried his best to run away after he pushed down that tree, but he had been going for too long today. It didn't help that he hadn't eaten that much today. The scientists kept his food intake down to a minimum to make sure he wouldn't do anything outrageous in the facility. But now he could already feel cripplingly weak. His stomach growled and fell to his knees. And if that wasn't bad enough, he saw someone come out of the shadows and actually saved the monster soldier. Henry gawked at her for a moment, not completely sure what exactly she was. But it was for sure that she was definitely an alter.

"Wh...what am I thinking...?!" Henry breathed out, his body felt a little weak. "You're the one...who's saving a damned hunter!"

The monster then started taunting him, asking if he wanted to throw any other trees his way. Henry spat at the ground in anger. "Cocky bastard..."

As if that wasn't enough, more and more people started gathering towards the sound of the crashed tree. First was the hunter, then two others, one of which looked like a little girl. Just like the one that the woman he met had mentioned. "Dammit all..." Henry could feel his body recuperating enough for him to stand back up. He felt so hungry, but it wasn't the time for that. Everyone here was in danger and things were spinning out of control way too quickly. Henry needed a plan, something. But in his current state, there wasn't much that he could pull off immediately.

KANIMA

Kanima looked at the trees around her. Free, she was free. For once she allowed her self a little giggle. Oh it felt good. She broke of into a sprint. She could go about half an hour like this without breaking sweat. She loved it, the wing running through her hair, the way twigs crunched beneath her feet, the way the air smelt. Fresh she thought. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath.
"Right" she muttered her eyes still closed, "now what?"
Ok I'm out, running through the forest with my eyes closed and there could be a...
She ran head first into tree. Groaning she stood. Rubbing her head.
I really had to do that...
She could a distant high pitched noise. Radio frequency. What would that mean. She was sometimes tortured by it but...
She listened closer trying to pin point where it was coming from. But instead heard voices. People? Out here?
She followed the voices but the high pitched noise grew fainter and fainter. That's when she saw them. A few people, one dressed as... Something strange. Did people dress like that now? Then she saw someone hiding also making a lot of noise. He was dressed the same as her. Maybe he didn't know he was making that much noise or maybe he was doing it deliberately. Looking about her, Kanima silently walked over to a tree near the one where the other person was standing.
"Uhh, person,"she whispered so quiet that if he was standing about another meter away he wouldn't have heard it." Could you try to be a bit quieter, I can hear you from there."
She looked back at the other people to see if they heard. They didn't seem to. Maybe she should go see. Or she could wait to see if they were going to try and get her back. She went for the safer option. And waited.

MASON

Mason checked the time. Then wished he hadn't he still had ages to work. No activity all day. He then began swinging in his chair. Bored bored bored. He ran through all the cameras in the woods. Then he saw alters. No, no, no no! He looked around. They weren't destroying, they were normal. Maybe he could... No he had to report... But then again. He quickly checked no one was watching. Made that certain security camera malfunction and disposed of the tape. No one would hopefully find them now. They weren't doing anything wrong. Ok you must act casual when anyone comes in. He took a deep breath. And sipped his coffee. Relaxing in his chair.

Jade

Jade panicked at the brute's threat and froze in the tree. She had barely snapped out of it and jumped out of the tree before the boy ran into the tree. She must have hit a branch when she fell out of the tree because she blacked out for a few moments.
When she came to there were so many people in the clearing that a wave of panic came over her. One was a hunter! They needed out of there now. By chance, she happened to see the little girl from earlier. No. Why is she here? Of all the places she could have run why here?

She touched the boy's arm to get his attention as well as to smooth the panic that looked as bad as she felt from his face. "We need to get out of here. Now."

Raizel jumped when he heard a voice talking to him. He franticly looked around for the owner of the voice. He spotted a girl wearing the same clothes that he was. It seems that she isn't working for the Institute, she's a victim of it. He kept his voice quiet, calm, and friendly as he spoke. "I was unaware that I was making noise, thank you stranger." Keeping half an eye on the girl, Raizel turned his attention back to the group of people. That's when he noticed that one of the people wasn't wearing the same white gown as the rest. It was a hunter. Raizel's desire to help people started getting the better of him. He looked back at the girl. "We must help them. I'll tackle the hunter, you get his scythe away from him." Without waiting for an answer Raizel ran at the hunter and tackled him into the ground. He really hoped the girl was willing to help, or he was as good as dead.
