She stopped abruptly when she felt her cage move, confusion and panic soon struck her. Aero began to leap around the cage, looking for the movement's source. The whole time rage and fury burned in her eyes, she soon caught sight of a man standing in the back ground. She stared, it wasn't the dyrke, it was someone else. Panic struck her again and she charged in the direction, just like always though the chain stopped her in her tracks, and she was once again pulled to the ground.
Panic was replaced with an unyielding fury and fear, once again her eyes became blurred and her neck throbbed. Something was going to die, and it would be by her hand.

"Anyone got any food?! I'll feed it to the rats and make em' race! It's more entertaining than this is!" She sighed, knowing that no one cared and glanced at a pebble on the ground. She lifted it and began to throw it at the wall, allowing it to bounce back before throwing it again.

She took steps away from the front of the cage and then lept forward, she was merely a blur in the eyes of anyone watching. The man standing there with a rod in his hand was her target, she was going to kill him. She pulled her hand back and prepared to dig it into his chest, when she was within range she thrust her hand forward. The force alone would have killed any normal human, and should she hit him it would be over.

Emily sighed, fed up with gnawing at the damn chains. She let out a low growl, too exhausted to do anything but. Being here in this jail confiscated the last bit of her energy. She laid down, attempting to sink into a position in which her chains weren't hurting her as much. She lowered her head, resting it on her paws. Her tail curled around her body, hind legs tucked in tight. She wrinkled her nose, shut her eyes, and slowly drifted to sleep.

She allowed herself a chance to feel her neck while she hissed. There was something there, a blister of some kind, and it had a strange shape. She had never had this done before, a new kind of torture perhaps. Bearing her teeth she growled, still unable to find the target the enemy she turned towards the source of the light and lashed out. Aero quickly and involuntarily withdrew her hand when she felt a similar burning sensation, why was everything trying to trap her, she didn't understand. Was binding no longer enough that now they must trap her with pain?
Slowly she began to hyperventilate, untill finally she screamed. Her own hair stood up on her now charred neck, that also would be another scar to add to her large collection of scars on her neck.

Turning towards the direction the voice had come from she prepared to lash out, she couldn't see anything but she could hear just fine. Suddenly though an even brighter and closer light formed and she shrinked away from it. The moment she did Aero felt something hold her arms together; the touch confused her, it was binding, but it also was caring. For the second it took whomever it was to also pull her towards him via the waste, she didn't want to hurt him. She didn't know why, she just knew she felt connected to him and closer and closer she was pulled, it was as though the desire to keep him unharmed had over come the desire to kill him leaving her helpless.
She still couldn't see, she didn't know what was happening. She willed her anger to come back, her strength, everything she was used to but couldn't the only thing that remained was the question: "What is happening?"

What was most surprising to her was that she was no longer angry, no longer confused, or scared. Slowly the lights dimmed, she could begin to see again. She looked around the room with a new emotion, it didn't bring her anger or confusion, but rather painful memories. Memories of a man she had killed when he also tried to make her his Coltego, this memory hurt. She looked around untill her eyes stopped at the arms that held her and then moved her way up to the man whom those arms belonged.
Aero was captivated by his violet eyes, so calming so trusting, so kind. She knew she could drown in them, these beautiful eyes belonged to the man who had saved her from this tortured. He had saved her from her own anger and fear, she felt safe and had no desire to hurt him.
She wished she could say something but she couldn't bring her mouth to create legible words, they all came out in uninterpretable jumbles. Instead she smiled, it was warm and she somehow knew that this would probably be the first of many because this man had given her the ability to fly. Her eyes engulfed his own, her own trust and new found happiness flooding through. Slowly she felt her legs weakening and her own mind became tired, her neck she found still stung and slowly she collapsed, falling backwards.

Upon passing the dyrke she only moved enough to hiss, her final farewell and at the same time warning. Should she ever see him again she would kill him and she would have no regret in doing so. He traveled through a dark place for a while before exiting through a door. Aero yelped when the sun hit her face, in comparison to the flames it was ten times as bright, and hurt her eyes so much more.
Quickly lifting her arms she grabbed Senri's shirt and held on, her face soon followed. She tried desperately to bury her face into his chest so that she could escape the sun's blistering glare. "Sen." she whispered. At first glance one would see a child in his arms, but upon the second anyone could see it was a full grown woman. Her hair's small curls gently fell around her face and against Senri, they almost glowed with an amber tinge and shimmered in the sunlight, they were the only part of her body that trully appeared cared for.
In the sun's light her scars were more prominent, taking on the form of light pink bracelets around her wrist and anklets around her ankles. These were clear signs of the restrainment she had been placed under, and the undying opposement to these restraints. These told the story of her sad and short life.

She releases him and pulled herself back slowly, she slowly crawled backwards and was met with the wall of the carriage. She was trapped again, she screamed and flinched away; she shivered as she curled into a ball and whimpered. Not again. Aero looked at Senri, fear and pleading erupted from her eyes "Sen." she cried out for him.

She allowed herself to stretch out on the seat, ignoring the walls best she could. She then leaned into Senri again and snuggled under his jacket. She yawned one more time before deep sleep took over her concience.

Though she could not see the details, she knew it would be a beautiful sight to behold when she finally would be able to see it. She turned to look at Senri again, "home?" she managed to ask. She couldn't help being excited, she had never had a real home before and she had always been curious as to what one would be like. She wondered whether it was just a building for a portion of her life but soon discovered that not to be the case, at least not for her.
As she looked at Senri she allowed her halo to fade from view completely, her wings soon followed. When it came to making her wings appear and disappear she could easily and quickly make them visible, but she had a hard time making them go away. Aero had never had much practice with it, perhaps maybe her knew Kobeki could teach her some knew tricks for her to learn.
