Aero was angry, she was always angry. She hated the man that had kept her in chains and contained in enclosed spaces. She hated the bars that surrounded her, they were always shrinking, always, always shrinking. She feared these bars, she wanted to destroy the bars that wished to crush her. Aero stretched her wings out preparing to prance on one bar. As they stretched the wind ruffled her snow white feathers, but soon her wings were stopped by the wall above her. Aero screamed in fear... the walls were crushing her. Jumping at the wall she scratched and scratched untill her nails tore and blood came out from under them. Her scream soon became one of fury, she couldn't stand it she wanted to fly she wanted to escape the clutches of these walls. She lunged at a bar but as she came closer the chain around her neck yanked her back. Her screams were abruptly halted and Aero lay on the floor of her cage unmoving except for the slight rise and fall of her chest.

Suzuki looked around the cell she was kept in, it wan't really anything she had a chain around her neck that bruised the delcate skin whenever she tried turning her neck fast, She learned quickly though that this was her new life What I wouldn't give to see the moon again She thought to herself before lying back down on the dusty ground, with her tail curled up around her shaking body. Her ears twitched slightly when she heard someone in the next cell running around their cell sounding very angry at that.

Emily sighed, seeing as yet another was being purchased. Never herself. She scrambled to the back of her cellar, feeling as if she was in a world of dystopia. She bellowed a low growl, scratching at the chains on her neck. "Damn," she thought. "The day I get out of here will really be a sight to see." She curled up into a ball, staring aimlessly at the ground.

Aero heard voices and cocked her head in an attempt to hear, every word fueled her anger further. She then felt a light on the back of her head, she jumped and cowered away from it. Baring her teeth she let out a long menacing hiss directed at the flame, she didn't jump at it as she normaly would have. The flame's light was blinding her and so she couldn't see exactly where it was, even so she continued her warning hiss. After a moment she could see the figure of cages around her and inside those cages were others in chains. She looked at them, their eyes watching her. Aero's breath began to accelerate before she let out a blood curdeling, ear-piercing scream.

She stopped abruptly when she felt her cage move, confusion and panic soon struck her. Aero began to leap around the cage, looking for the movement's source. The whole time rage and fury burned in her eyes, she soon caught sight of a man standing in the back ground. She stared, it wasn't the dyrke, it was someone else. Panic struck her again and she charged in the direction, just like always though the chain stopped her in her tracks, and she was once again pulled to the ground.

Panic was replaced with an unyielding fury and fear, once again her eyes became blurred and her neck throbbed. Something was going to die, and it would be by her hand.

Spectre let out another huff. These bar, this cage, this prison. It was just a stupid prison. There was nothing to do here, that was the biggest problem... The demon girl flopped back and rubbed the spot on her head where her horns used to be. Why had she cut those off again? Suddenly, she heard a noise... A commotion? For what? What about? That winged girl from across the room... She was being bought? She let out a growl, lucky winged girl. No one wanted to buy a demon... She let out a growl and watched as the whole thing took place, she pulled on her chains just a hair to get a closer look, but saw nothing... She let out a sigh. She sometimes wished she could be bought, it was better than rotting down here and being bored to death. She let out a loud huff and faced the back wall. Her wings had to bend quite a lot this way, since they were the thing that was primarily chained up. They were aching at this point too, but she understood why they would chain her as they did. She could escape because she would rip her wings and even if she attempted, break her neck. She let out a sigh and swished her barbed tail from side to side.

"Anyone got any food?! I'll feed it to the rats and make em' race! It's more entertaining than this is!" She sighed, knowing that no one cared and glanced at a pebble on the ground. She lifted it and began to throw it at the wall, allowing it to bounce back before throwing it again.

Aero was wheeled into a strange place, a place she only vaguely remembered being in, was it a month ago? The anger of not knowing welled inside her, the anger of being confused boiled over. She saw the Dyrke come around and appear to climb to the top of the cage, she attacked the roof mercilessly screaming the whole time she did so. She heard a faint click, and looked forward. The front of her cage was being opened and only moments later the chain that bound her disappeared. An almost evil smile twitched on her face as she looked at the other one in the dojo, a new target to kill.

She took steps away from the front of the cage and then lept forward, she was merely a blur in the eyes of anyone watching. The man standing there with a rod in his hand was her target, she was going to kill him. She pulled her hand back and prepared to dig it into his chest, when she was within range she thrust her hand forward. The force alone would have killed any normal human, and should she hit him it would be over.

Suffering. Angst. Solitude.

Emily sighed, fed up with gnawing at the damn chains. She let out a low growl, too exhausted to do anything but. Being here in this jail confiscated the last bit of her energy. She laid down, attempting to sink into a position in which her chains weren't hurting her as much. She lowered her head, resting it on her paws. Her tail curled around her body, hind legs tucked in tight. She wrinkled her nose, shut her eyes, and slowly drifted to sleep.

Aero hissed at the bright flames that blinded her, and screamed when she felt something wrap around her arms. At first she was confused, she couldn't see anything, she was so used to the dark, her eyes just couldn't adjust. The confusion was replaced with sheer fury when she felt a painful sensation on the back of her neck. The mixture of angst and ferocity supplied strength and she quickly stretched her arms out, whatever as holding her gave way. As she retreated against the wall she hissed, her eyes were desperately searching for the target of her hiss, but still so much white.

She allowed herself a chance to feel her neck while she hissed. There was something there, a blister of some kind, and it had a strange shape. She had never had this done before, a new kind of torture perhaps. Bearing her teeth she growled, still unable to find the target the enemy she turned towards the source of the light and lashed out. Aero quickly and involuntarily withdrew her hand when she felt a similar burning sensation, why was everything trying to trap her, she didn't understand. Was binding no longer enough that now they must trap her with pain?

Slowly she began to hyperventilate, untill finally she screamed. Her own hair stood up on her now charred neck, that also would be another scar to add to her large collection of scars on her neck.

Aero was still blinded, she screamed desperately and in the midst faintly heard something or rather someone saying the same word over and over. The voice felt familiar, like someone from a long close past. It gave her the feeling of wanting to protect that things, not wanting to hurt it; she had the feeling there was a bond forming, a powerful bond that could never be broken. This scared her, never before had she had a bond aside from an angry one, quickly she shook her head and anger replaced all forms of caring feelings.

Turning towards the direction the voice had come from she prepared to lash out, she couldn't see anything but she could hear just fine. Suddenly though an even brighter and closer light formed and she shrinked away from it. The moment she did Aero felt something hold her arms together; the touch confused her, it was binding, but it also was caring. For the second it took whomever it was to also pull her towards him via the waste, she didn't want to hurt him. She didn't know why, she just knew she felt connected to him and closer and closer she was pulled, it was as though the desire to keep him unharmed had over come the desire to kill him leaving her helpless.

She still couldn't see, she didn't know what was happening. She willed her anger to come back, her strength, everything she was used to but couldn't the only thing that remained was the question: "What is happening?"

Aero heard his voice again, it was calm, trusting, and comforting. She listened to it, not fully understanding what he was saying but at the same time knowing what it was he told her. She knew the word Coltego, that was what she was always refered to, not Aero. Somehow though the name seemed familiar.

What was most surprising to her was that she was no longer angry, no longer confused, or scared. Slowly the lights dimmed, she could begin to see again. She looked around the room with a new emotion, it didn't bring her anger or confusion, but rather painful memories. Memories of a man she had killed when he also tried to make her his Coltego, this memory hurt. She looked around untill her eyes stopped at the arms that held her and then moved her way up to the man whom those arms belonged.

Aero was captivated by his violet eyes, so calming so trusting, so kind. She knew she could drown in them, these beautiful eyes belonged to the man who had saved her from this tortured. He had saved her from her own anger and fear, she felt safe and had no desire to hurt him.

She wished she could say something but she couldn't bring her mouth to create legible words, they all came out in uninterpretable jumbles. Instead she smiled, it was warm and she somehow knew that this would probably be the first of many because this man had given her the ability to fly. Her eyes engulfed his own, her own trust and new found happiness flooding through. Slowly she felt her legs weakening and her own mind became tired, her neck she found still stung and slowly she collapsed, falling backwards.

Aero was surprised when he picked her up, it wasn't a way of capturing her more like a sanctuary meant for her and only her. She liked it, she felt important and safe and even in some aspects liked. She continued to listen to his voice comprehending what he was saying but not the actual words, it comforted her, his voice. His voice was soothing, especially after being only spoken to by the harsh and knarly voice of the dyrke.

Upon passing the dyrke she only moved enough to hiss, her final farewell and at the same time warning. Should she ever see him again she would kill him and she would have no regret in doing so. He traveled through a dark place for a while before exiting through a door. Aero yelped when the sun hit her face, in comparison to the flames it was ten times as bright, and hurt her eyes so much more.

Quickly lifting her arms she grabbed Senri's shirt and held on, her face soon followed. She tried desperately to bury her face into his chest so that she could escape the sun's blistering glare. "Sen." she whispered. At first glance one would see a child in his arms, but upon the second anyone could see it was a full grown woman. Her hair's small curls gently fell around her face and against Senri, they almost glowed with an amber tinge and shimmered in the sunlight, they were the only part of her body that trully appeared cared for.

In the sun's light her scars were more prominent, taking on the form of light pink bracelets around her wrist and anklets around her ankles. These were clear signs of the restrainment she had been placed under, and the undying opposement to these restraints. These told the story of her sad and short life.

Aero cocked her head when she was placed on the cusioned seat, it was so comfortable, like nothing she had ever felt before. She looked at Senri, he was talking funny and she didn't like it. She didn't want to hiss at him so instead she leaned over and covered his mouth, like this he couldn't sound wierd anymore.

She releases him and pulled herself back slowly, she slowly crawled backwards and was met with the wall of the carriage. She was trapped again, she screamed and flinched away; she shivered as she curled into a ball and whimpered. Not again. Aero looked at Senri, fear and pleading erupted from her eyes "Sen." she cried out for him.

Aero smiled when she saw his wings, they were black but even so she could see that he too had an innocence. She smiled at him, "Beautiful." as she said this she reached into her wings plucked a feather, she then proceeded to present it to him. Her own halo glowed brighter around her forehead as her joy grew also. Feeling as safe as she was she yawned, it had been a day that was long but also gave her life a new start.

She allowed herself to stretch out on the seat, ignoring the walls best she could. She then leaned into Senri again and snuggled under his jacket. She yawned one more time before deep sleep took over her concience.

Aero had never slept so well, it wasn't a very long sleep but even though she felt more refreshed in that time than she had in all of her years of living. She wasn't really sure whether it was because of the incredibly comfortable cusions or perhaps it was the fact she was sleeping against Senri. As she stretched and yawned she managed to ask a question, "Are we? Where are we?" A smile danced around her face, she had made her very first legible sentence. She looked out the window; at first she was simply blinded by the sun's blistering light but soon her eyes grew adjusted and she could make out the outlines of builidings. She looked around and saw the builiding she was headed into.

Though she could not see the details, she knew it would be a beautiful sight to behold when she finally would be able to see it. She turned to look at Senri again, "home?" she managed to ask. She couldn't help being excited, she had never had a real home before and she had always been curious as to what one would be like. She wondered whether it was just a building for a portion of her life but soon discovered that not to be the case, at least not for her.

As she looked at Senri she allowed her halo to fade from view completely, her wings soon followed. When it came to making her wings appear and disappear she could easily and quickly make them visible, but she had a hard time making them go away. Aero had never had much practice with it, perhaps maybe her knew Kobeki could teach her some knew tricks for her to learn.
