They do absolutely nothing. They look nice though! (Just kidding. They enhance his strength 7 fold.)
Dual Tonfa's That instead have swords that well extend his arms. If those aren't working, his chain sword usually works just as well.

Cushioned to help him land from the parkour he does and to kick people without wrecking his boots.
Skills: Parkour, Agility and Extremely Flexible. Both go hand in hand.
Ability: Ant-like strength. Also, this is a new thing for him, but Disrupter: for short periods of time, he can disrupt the bond between a demon and its Tamer, causing confusion.
Personality: Normally, Hawke is blunt, straightforward, fun loving, intense, daring. Point him in a direction and he'll either kill or talk to whatever is in that area. Can be a bit of a failure at womanizing, as his multiple relationships fail due to his bluntness. When he is not fighting, he is fun loving, laid back but still blunt. He isn't the smartest tool in the shed, and will sometimes not put the pieces together in many situations, making him a crappy planner. His skills make up for that. His opinion will always be visible in a situation, and can be very obnoxious and ignorant about some things. All around lovable, he can't seem to land it with the women but can make friends easily. As long as his bluntness stays behind him.
History: Growing up a Demon Trader was a great way to make Hawke the way he is today. In the store he learned how to take directions without question and became extremely efficient at it. He didn't 'do' school, and instead ran the store and hung out with his friends. He got into yoga and free running when he was 12, and became a master at both, becoming flexible and a great freerunner. He moved out when he was 18and joined the army and did a 3 year term as a Fighter. Excelling at the art, he decided to not do a second term and go into league fighting at 21.
He trained the demon he got from home (he did grow up with multiple demons) for pennies for what they go for, and trained it for 3 years, competing. Since then He has made a name for himself in Star City as a world class fighter. He nearly won last time, placing second. With the money he had won for being second, he purchased another Demon, but it would never replace his original in his heart. This year, he has hopes to crush the competition and somehow win the lady of his dreams.

Appearance: Velox is a massive winged monster. With a snake for a head, scorpion body-complete with stinger - and wings of a Hawk, his isn't very pretty. But loves belly rubs! :D

Hawk's Wings: His wings cause a massive windstorm in the arena, and his power over the air causes certain gusts to slice at the opponent.
Scorpion's Poison: Extremely quick stabs by the stinger keeps the opposing demon on its toes. If it is hit the poison is a paralytic.
Snake's Spit: Mid ranged attack, Velox spits an acidic wind at the opponent, as if they were being hit by a massive gas. Various affects have been known to occur, it can be random: Sleep, bleeding of the eyes, sever hallucinations.
(Move learned through leveling) Snawk's Screech: Velox lets loose a terrible screeching noise aimed at the enemy, deafening and disorienting it. It is sent in sound waves, and can possibly knock over the opponent.
(Move also learned) Trio's Mirage: Duplicates himself many times, but they are all just tricks of the eyes caused by winds. They can do no harm whatsoever.
