Ever/Ares
Ever blushed red when the guys talked about kissing her and getting her turned on, guys didn’t look at her like that, let alone pretend talk about her like that. Guys saw her as a complicated person. She bit her lip letting out a small nervous noise as Ares threw them against the wall she debated calling it off but other then being in pain the guys seemed alright and despite the pained look on their face they seemed to be enjoying Ares’ anger.

She jumped a bit when she heard Poseidon’s voice this was going to end badly. Ares ignored the shout of his uncle, not even bothering to look at him. “You think you boys are so cute, fucking around with her, seems like you always have someone coming to your rescue.” He whispered only loud enough for the two boys to hear and his voice was dark and stained with hatred. “I can’t wait to get you boy al…” he trailed off realizing the resemblance between the two boys. He let go of them almost as if in a trance as he took a few steps back. “It can’t be.” He said quietly to himself before glancing to his uncle anger immediately filling his body once again. “Your all fucking dead to me.” He said storming off.

Ever place her fingers on her temples messaging them softly. “Well is everyone ready for dinner?” she smiled as she finished setting the table. Hertable was fairly big mostly because she always had guest in and out of her house. She set the bread, pasta, and salad out on the table. “Come on, Poseidon your welcome to join.” She gave the god a small smile before sitting at one of the heads of the table.

Eliha "Brad" Johnson

To say that Areses threat didn't scare Brad slightly would be lieing. In fact it scared him quite a bit. Brad felt a sudden prang of guilt and regret for messing around with the god as much as he did.

“It can’t be.”

"Ooof!" Brad exclaimed as he fell to the floor, not expecting the sudden drop. Brad then looked around and spotted Mag next to him, also on the floor. He pointed to his face as if to ask if there was something on it that was scaring poor Ares. With Ares storming out Brad herd Ever call out;

“Well is everyone ready for dinner?”

Never in the history of Brad's life had he got up so quickly and made his way to the kitchen, after he helped Mag from the floor. He passed the second god hearing Ever call him Poseidon. Brad turned and faced the God, a smile on his face as he nodded towards the god, as a sign of thank you. Behind the God was another Tamer, she had seemed to evade Brad in the past and this was the first time he met her, he waved at her with a smile on his face, before pointing at a seat. Indicating he wanted her to sit there in hopes of getting to know her better. He then turned to Ever who was laying the table, He gently took a bowl from her hands and helped her to set the table. It was after all not the first time he had had dinner with Ever and he knew how she liked to set the table, or at least that was what he thought. While he helped set the table, Brad suddenly stood up straight and held his hand high in the air, awaiting a high-five from Ever. She had played her role perfectly and deserved some sort of appreciation. After waiting for a bit longer than usual, Brad eyed Ever with a look that said 'Don't leave me hanging'.

Leaig back against the wall Magnus let out a sigh of relief, it wasn't every day you got attacked by the god of war. But when you did and lived it made for a great story. " I'm starving." he says walking to the table. He wouldn't show it but his entire body was killing him, Ares really did pack a punch. Sitting down he glanced at the door the god had stormed out of, Wonder what's go his panties in a bunch? He thought before brushing it off as sothngn he'd learn about later.

" out of curiosity, what flavor is your lip gloss?" he asked Ever with a small smile, he'd find out himself if he thought he could get away with it.

Ever
Well today wasn’t a complete disaster, Ever thought to herself as she gave Brad a small thank you smile as he started to help her. She let out a small giggle as he gave her the don’t-leave-me hanging-look. Her palm met with his in a friendly high five.

"That's confidential" Ever teased Magnus

It was weird she hadn’t had so many people in her home in a long time. The season was very slow though, she thought as she sat down. She yawned lightly she had only been here a few hours but so much had happened, something was off, and Ever could sense that though she wasn’t exactly she what. Looking back on it now her Myths had been acting strange all day, maybe it’s just because of the mating season. She finally decided that was what was wrong with everyone and everything.

“I hope the other tamers are okay, normally I’ve seen almost everyone by now.” She sighed at the thought. In fact she hadn’t seen Geoffrey, which was worrying her quite a bit. She was used to seeing him all the time. He had been one of the first Tamers she met here, he was like a brother to her.

Ever glanced to Midna “I don’t think we have all fully introduced ourselves to you.” She smiled “I’m Ever Hadley, you can call me Eve or Pony or Ever.” She said taking a sip of her water. “I’m the Unicorn, Pegasus Tamer, and kind of the doctor for Reendria.” She said with a smile. Glancing to Brad and Magnus with a your turn kind of look.

Poseidon/Midna

After Ares left, Poseidon said with a sigh, "Sorry about my nephew. He can get very crazy like that. He isn't called the god of war for nothing."
“Well is everyone ready for dinner?” Ever said, cheerfully.
“Come on, Poseidon your welcome to join.” she said to the tall god. He chuckled, and then looked down at Midna, who was still beside him.
"Should I?" he asked her. Midna cheerfully nodded. She never really got to hang out with poseidon besides talking to him at the river by her cottage.
"OH why not? I'll gladly join you kids!" Poseidon said happily. "Just....please don't tell Zeus. He doesn't like it very much when us Gods are around mortals."

Poseidon took a seat at the head of the table, putting his trident on the ground next to him.

Midna saw that the one guy that was being strangled before was waving at her. She smiled and waved back. It was nice that at least somebody was noticing her. He then pointed to a seat, and Midna understood the message. She nodded, and took a seat in the chair. she smiled and listened as Ever started to introduce herself.

Zues turned swiftly as he heard his brother posiden speaking. He noticed him in Mortal form. Zues allowed himself to shrink down as he walked towards his brother. "Don't tell me what?" Zues asked. He smiled and began to laugh. "Brother." He said he hugged posiden. OI haven't seen you since last solstice meeting." Zues said ending his embrace with his brother. He looked at the Tamers around. he knew all of them. Considering he pretty much made all of them. "Children." Zeus said with a smiled to them.

Alice Bright

Feeling uplifted and joyful, she continued dancing a little, and tapping on the tambourine. She laughed along with Ben, having a good time. Maggie's heads began to slip back into the lava, and Ignis nudged at Alice's legs, pushing her over to Ben a little. She hadn't really noticed being caught up in the music. Then Ignis decided he'd had enough too, and flapped his wings elegantly, then doing somewhat of a swan dive into the lava. She smiled at his gracefulness.

Suddenly she heard a cry from Ben, quickly turning, her eyes widened, shocked by what she saw. He was on the floor of the cave opening, blood gushed from his shoulder, from five deep wounds. She screamed, scared herself, she didn't know what had happened. She dropped the tambourine, and rushed to his side, she crouched down, with her legs folded under her she placed his head in her lap, and pressed both of her hands against the gashes. She knew she had to keep pressure on it, so she tried her best.

She could feel the blood still rushing, and she took one of his own hands and placed it against a cut, she was afraid he'd go into shock because of the blood loss. She wasn't trained in this sort of event of course, so she was panicking. Quickly, she ripped a piece off the skirt of her dress, and pressed that over the wounds. She couldn't tell if she was making things better or worse, she could only hope she was helping.

Pouting slightly Magnus says, " well then, I'll just have to find out on my own.." he smirked and went back to eating. A few minutes later he glanced up at Brad, he just looked so much like Magnus it was unbearable. " hey, you wouldn't have any relatives in Sweden do you?" maybe they were distant cousins or somthing.

Loki

The flaring of Magnus's pain caught Loki's attention, he wasn't often injured enough to feel anything from him. Instantly he sent an astral projection of himself to his tamers side. Once he was there, he watched as Magnus spoke to the other tamers and seemed safe enough. Glancing around the room, Loki saw traces of Areses essence. That would explain why Magnus wanted to curl up and die. The god had thrown a tantrum.

Pip/Artemis

Pip watched as the girl went inside and shrugged, she saw Artemis walk out and followed Ares outside, she saw the look from the goddess and knew Artemis wasn't too happy. She sighed and put her hand to her head as she felt a slight headache coming on. Sina whispered into her ear and she shook her head "na Im alright sina" she said in the fairy language. She could sorta hear Ares and Artemis outside...

"Ares! Dont call me princess! you damn fool" Artemis yelled at him and before she knew it Ares was already inside. She huffed and walked inside noticing Pippa still at the doorway, though a worried look came upon her face as she saw Pippa put her hand to her head. "You okay darling? not one of those headaches again is it" she asked Pippa.

Pip looked up to see Artemis there "i be fine yah just a small one I think" she said in a whisper as she turned around to see Magnus and Brad and Ares at it once more. She shook her head and leaned against the doorway waiting for it them to get over it. She hate fighting with a passion. She saw a few more gods come in and looked to Artemis, she always wondered if she was the only one to get a goddess. She loved Artemis and couldn't see herself with anyone else. Hearing Ever say dinner was ready she went over and grabbed a seat next to Midna she didnt say much because of her headache. Something wasn't right and she wasnt sure what it was. She looked around the table and was wondering what the other tamers where up to and wondered what Pauwau was doing. She hasnt seen her in a bit and needed to take a visit to go see her. She heard Ever start introductions and noticed no one else went so she decided she would "Im Pippa but most just call me Pip, im the tamer for the pixies and fairies so if their ever giving ye any issues just let me know, they are some pesky little creatures sometimes" she said in her irish accent in a very soft voice. When she was done she closed her eyes for just a few minutes.

Artemis watched as Ares was getting headstrong and stormed off "you idiot" she whispered under her voice as Ares stormed passed her. She then noticed Poseidon, Zeus, and Loki there and she walked over to Zeus and Poseidon "well hello haven't see y'all in awhile how ya been? Hope things are going better for you then Ares, sometimes I think he needs a good smack across the head. One of these days I will be giving it to him when he leasts expects it. Stupid boy."

Geoffrey

What's the point? Even if I make it out of here, Ever's going to kill me this time for sure. Jeff wasn't exactly in a laughing mood right now, but he'd yet to find something he couldn't joke about. He was determined that if he was going to die here, it would be with a smile on his face, and a laugh on his lips.

But that was only if he did die here, and he was pretty determined not too. Unfortunately, it was seeming more and more likely with every moment.

Jeff pushed his leaden legs on, urging them to carry him as fast as possible. But God did it hurt. Don't think about it. Just keep running. His right arm was wrapped tight around his stomach, covered in blood. It soaked through his clothes and ran down his arm, wet, hot, and sticky. C'mon, keep going. Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot. His breath was ragged and shallow, each rasping snatch of air painful and hot. At least I'm still breathing. His vision was dim and hazy, too dark to make out the ground properly. That's not my vision, it's this place. Just gotta keep running and I can leave. He could hear footsteps behind him, and a strange skittering. They were growing more and more distant, but were still much too close for comfort. Nope, not going to think about it. La la la la la.

Suddenly his right leg gave way, buckling under him. He hit the ground heavily, pain lancing through his body. He forced himself onto his knees, hot, angry tears blurring his vision. Try as he might, he couldn't stand up. He had pushed too hard, and now his body was giving out on him. There was a moment of panic. He could still hear the footsteps and skittering, growing louder, but when he glanced back there was no sign of his pursuers. He breathed a sigh of relief. Good. He'd put enough distance between them.

Focusing what little energy he had left, he reached out. He reached and reached and reached, across boundaries that separated entire worlds. But he found what he was looking for. He'd warped there so often it was like a second home. His pursuers could feel what he was doing. He heard a little shriek of rage, and the speed of the footfalls approaching him grew. But before they could reach him, he was gone, slipping through space.

Warping is a strange sensation. It's like taking a step in a whole new direction, somehow sliding sideways and forwards and up and back and down all at once. The world around Jeff seemed to melt away, sliding out from around him. Suddenly, he was in an entirely different place.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lazy afternoon light wafted through the window, nearly gone as day drew to a close. The room was warm and friendly, looking every bit like part of a cozy little inn. Not a spot of dust anywhere, it was a fresh, clean room. It even smelled fresh, with the smells of the forest and horses leaking through. He, on the other hand, did not.

Jeff actually didn't want to think about what he smelled like. Suffice to say, words would never do the stench justice. Blood was already seeping into the clean sheets of the bed that he had warped onto, and his clothes hung off him in ripped, tattered ruins. His body was laced with cuts and bruises of various sizes, and dirt and sweat mingled over his skin. Breath came to him painfully, and everything hurt. His right ankle was swollen, and his left shoulder had been dislocated. But all of this could wait. More pressing was the blood seeping out of his stomach. A stab wound, it wasn't particularly wide, but it was deep. If someone didn't see to it soon, Jeff knew, he was going to die.

On the other hand, if Ever saw the state that he had gotten himself into, she might just go ahead and kill him anyway. The first couple of times that he had shown up at her door injured, she had helped him out. She asked what happened, but he couldn't tell her. Still, she kept helping him. It eventually got to the point that she had set aside this room for him, so that whenever he needed help he'd warp in here and no one else but Ever would need to know. He'd even worked out a way for Ares to sense whenever he entered this room, so that he could tell Ever.

Speaking of Ares, where the hell is he. Normally he's much quicker about fetching Ever. Another spasm of pain lanced through Jeff, and it was all he could do not to cry out. Hurry up Ares...

Last time he warped in here, Ares was much quicker. Ever almost immediately, but said that unless he told her just what he was doing to keep getting hurt, she would stop healing him. Jeff had called that bluff when he tried to get up and walk off on a broken leg, and Ever sat him back down and tended to the leg. But she hadn't been happy about it. She wanted him to swear not to get himself hurt again, but he just told her that that was a promise he couldn't make.

And now here he was, not just hurt, but dying. He hated doing this to Ever, he really did. Whenever he popped in this room she would drop whatever she was doing, and come heal him. I hope I'm not interrupting anything this time...

Ares/Ever
“Well someone looks like shit.” Ares smirked as he lend against the wall behind Geoffrey, he didn’t exactly like the kid for two reason he was a boy and Ever was a girl and secondly he felt that Jeff was simply using Ever. He took a breath “You smell of death, what the hell did you get yourself into this time?” he rolled his eyes pushing off the wall. “Guess I better go get Pony.” He sighed as he walked up the stairs that led into the barn and out into the back yard. He was taking his time, mostly cause the more the kid suffered the more pleasure he got out of it.

Ares entered the kitchen in a calmer manor then he left though he only looked at Ever as he spoke in a language that not many knew unless of course you were a God or you studied the language. But, he was pretty sure none of the tamers here knew Greek “Είναι εδώ και είμαι σίγουρος ότι είναι στα πρόθυρα του θανάτου, ίσως να θέλετε να βιαστούμε Εύα.” He spoke in a leisurely tone as if nothing was wrong.

Ever nearly choked on her food, she coughed violently before managing to get a drink of water, she blushed slightly embarrassed at her almost chocking. She gave the group a small smile. “Please, excuse me…I umm…have some business to attend to “ she said in a sweet voice before making her way out the back door. “Λούσι, είναι εδώ και είναι κακό, εγώ θα πρέπει να έχετε, ελάτε” Greek was a native tongue for Ever, she was as fluent in it as she was in English and often she spoken in it when it was only her and Ares, most of the time she spoke to the horses in the language, they preferred it to English. She picked up her dress and quickly ran to the barn hopping no one would follow. Lucy followed behind her closely as did Ares. She opened the barn door not bothering to close it behind her as she turned to her right opening another room that led downstairs (she had trained Lucy to follow her down every time she came) to a room that was specifically for her oldest friend, Geoffrey.

The second she saw him her hands flew to her nose and her mouth in an attempt to block the smell of death and to keep from screaming in horror at his mangled, injured body. She didn’t bother to say anything to him she simply started to mix up a few medicines.

“Λούσι, τον θεραπεύσει τώρα!” she yelled at the horse though not meaning to be so harsh. The unicorn simply nodded as she rested her horn on his shoulder, but she would only be able to do so much and injury this bad would nearly kill the Unicorn herself. Ever made her way over to Geoffrey setting a few different bowls on the table near the bed. “Lay back” she said gently pushing him back onto the bed, before looking to Lucy, who had been able to close up the stab wound and stop the bleeding, which was the most important part.

“Το έργο σας γίνεται φίλος μου.” She said softly. The White Unicorn’s breathing was heavy as she made her way back up the stairs and into the barn still recovering from her own injury. Ever turned her gaze back to Jeff the look on her face was clearly an angry one. “Listen Babe, You and I are going to have a serious talk, but right now I have a job to do.” She stated in a harsh tone that even he had never heard from Ever, but the use of her nickname for him meant she was glad he was okay. Ever sighed as she mixed another medicine this one for pain, she doesn’t exactly remember why she started calling him Babe, that was a term boyfriends and girlfriends used, and they had never even talked about something like that, they were friends, but for some reason, she had always called him that, it just fit, was the excuse she gave everyone, she hardly ever called him by his name when she was talking to him.

(OCC: Sorry for all the Greek language there is a reason Ever is so fluent in it, you'll find out at the Ball, Anyways thought I would make it easy for everyone...Google Translate)

"Eliah "Brad" Johnson"

"Brad, manticore Tamer." Brad said as he followed suit, sitting down next to Midna a smile on his face.

"hey, you wouldn't have any relatives in Sweden do you?" Brad heard Mag ask. It was in truth a good question to ask. The pair looked so much alike that one would think they were related in some way. But Brad shook his head. All the relatives he had ever known were with him on near by farms in South Africa.

"All my relatives are South African." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.

Brad smiled as mulitple gods now started to converse with the Tamers. Mostly Greek gods were around, but the image of Loki, a Norse god was refreshing. It made Brad think why it is that he never had a god. He knew of a Tamer rejecting a god, but he himself had never even had the chance to. It was strange, but Brad tried not to let it get the best of him. It was at that moment that Ares strolled in. The first thing Brad thought of doing was apologizing to the god for his pranks, but when Ever nearly choked on her food, he knew something else was up. Brad had never seen Ever like this before and could not figure out what the problem might be. Ever merely excused her self from the table and then left. Brad furrowed his brow in confusion. Eventually he decided not to bother her about it.

"I'm sure if Ever will be fine, if she needed our help she'd ask for it." Brad said to those around the table, hoping to calm them down. Quickly Brad turned to the Tamer he sat next to. A very quiet girl that in a way reminded Brad of him self when he wasn't in the mood to talk. He nodded towards her, a smile on his face. As if to say 'and you?'

"I don't know brother. Have you been conversing with the mortals? You know the rules. A week a year is all you get. use it wisely." Zeus said. He looked around. He thought of how he had created the humans. He loved them. Not just the good ones either. he also was forced to love the evil ones, or bad ones. He was father to them. He couldn't help it. "I hope you children are staying out of trouble." Zeus said. he knew exactly what they were doing, all the time. But he liked making conversation. He looked at His brother. Posiden was a very fond mentor. He was like a very spoiling father., always there, usually with a present or gift for his pupil. Zeus smiled. That was his little brother.

Edgar sat down after he realized that Agatha was nowhere near finished. It had been about 30 minutes and she hadn't even looked at. He wondered what it was she was working on now and tried to look but there were too many hands in the way. He was starving now and thought about going over to Agatha's kitchen but dismissed it as too far and just plain rude. He knew it was dangerous but he was tempted to just yell and get her attention.
Thankfully he wasn't the person who had to fill this role because just as the thought occurred to him another giant rushed into the room. It was Edgar's bodyguard, Gideonn probably come looking for him. Gideonn was probably one of the most highly respected warrior giants in Reendria but for some reason chose to defend Edgar and Agatha, the most peaceful 100 armed giant in Reendria. Gideonn was very well muscled and Edgar could compare him to most human body builders only Gideonn didn't sacrifice any agility in the process. A curly beard framed his scarred face and serious brown eyes. "Mistress Agatha," He began before a hard stare from Agatha silenced him momentarily. All 100 of Agatha's hands had stopped as she turned to face Gideonn anger evident in her face. "What?" she said normal sweet tones lost to this angry discontented one.
"It has been reported that Edgar is back in Reendria," He said barely phased by Agatha's anger. "I was wondering if you had seen him."
Agatha's anger disappeared as fast as it came and was replaced by concern. All 100 hands placed her work gently on the table before she lifted herself up and started to look for him. He let them search for awhile until he finally decided that he should make his presence known. "Hello." He said almost laughing as both giant heads turned to him. "How long have you been here?" asked Agatha sending a half dozen hands to reach for her pocket watch. "I've been here for about thirty minutes now." he said trying not to sound too smug. "Well thank you for at least trying to wait until i was finished." she said flashing a glare that was lost on Gideonn. "You really should come to me when you enter Reendria. I can name a number of giants that would have no problem disposing of you." He said carefully trying to make sure he didn't sound jealous of Agatha. "I can take care of myself." He said receiving a disbelieving grunt from Gideonn. "So what were you working on?" he asked turning towards Agatha who was absently trying to calm all of her arms. "Nothing special." She said holding up a flattened piece of metal with some words engraved into it. "But I did make you this." she said reaching for a small red box sitting on the workbench. She deftly handed the box to Edgar and Edgar just stared at it in his hands. He was yet again amazed at Agatha's attention to detail seeing the lines of gold paint coursing over the boxes surface. He pulled one side of the box off and gasped at what he saw inside.

Midna
Midna smiled and nodded as each of the tamers introduced themselves. It was nice to know who was the tamer of each myth. Midna didn't even know that pixies existed in Reendria.

Just then, Ares walked in again, and spoke something in greek. Ever practically choked on her food, and excused herself. Midna only wondered what the pressing matter was.
"I'm sure if Ever will be fine, if she needed our help she'd ask for it." Brad the manticore tamer said. He turned to Midna, nodded at her, and gave her a smile which seemed to say, 'and you?'

"ummm....I'm Midna. I'm the tamer of the Perytons" she said softly and with a small smile.

Poseidon
"well hello haven't see y'all in awhile how ya been? Hope things are going better for you then Ares, sometimes I think he needs a good smack across the head. One of these days I will be giving it to him when he leasts expects it. Stupid boy." Artemis, who was suddenly in the room, said.

"Why hello Artemis. We've been fine. I know right, sometimes my nephew can be a.."
Suddenly, Ares walked in the room. He said something rather calmly, but the tamer girl almost choked on her food. Poseidon knew what Ares had said, but he knew that the girl would take care of it. She was a healer.

"I don't know brother. Have you been conversing with the mortals? You know the rules. A week a year is all you get. use it wisely." Poseidon nodded to Zeus as he said this.
"yes brother." he replied. After he said this, he continued eating the food that had been served. He couldn't help but think about what the tamer girl was doing.

"Hm sounds good but unless you fancy raw deer and cow I think we should go to your place." Evie laughed at Alex's comment, though ironically she would even have that amount of food at her house if the not Elves who lived in the woods behind her place. They were Arcane elves who had set up camp in the forest shortly after she moved moved into her place. They also insisted on having basket of fresh food and fruit waiting for her every time she came home. Honestly she has to have the best myth, they were so lovely to her. "Well if you don't have anything left to do here, I'll lead the way," Evie said while a smile before leading Alex away from the Werewolf village.

It wasn't too long a walk to her house and so she set a leisurely pace and turned toward Alex looking to strike up some friendly conversation. "So where about are you from outside of here?" She asked in a friendly tone listening patiently for his answer as she ducked under a stray branch that got in her way. "What's it's like there?" She continued as she saw her house coming up in the distance. She caught a glimpse of an Elf taking off into the woods behind her place. Evie had a strict open door policy's to Elves and so there were often some hanging around. Though most Elves were not particularly of interaction with Humans and so when they saw another Human approaching they left quickly and silently.

Geoffrey & Ever

"You're just bitter that last time we sparred, I knocked you flat on your ass" Jeff coughed out as Ares smirked at him. He may have said more, but at least the God was going to go get Ever. Besides, he and Ares more or less got along. Sort of.

The look he saw on Ever's face when she walked in only made his guilt all the worse. Her blue eyes were wide with worry, but she didn't say anything.

Oh shit. Jeff thought to himself. She didn't yell at me. She always tells me off when I do this. She must be really worried if she's waiting. Or really angry.

He let Lucy rest her horn against his shoulder, allowing her magic to flow through him. He could feel his insides repairing themselves, his flesh knotting together. It was a warm, itchy feeling, and left no trace of the wound that had been gouged into his stomach.

As Lucy walked off, he ran a hand along her flank, murmuring "Thanks Luce..."

It was only when Lucy had gone that Ever showed just how angry she was. Jeff was tempted for a second to call Lucy back, but didn't. Lucy deserved to rest, and besides, Ever was going to yell at him sooner or later.

She was angrier than he'd ever seen her before, but he was expecting as much. But she called him babe instead of Geoffrey, which was a good sign. Although she'd been using it so long that he didn't think anything of it, it let him know that she was glad he was alright. If he remembered correctly, it was something she had picked up from a movie she'd been obsessed with when she was a little girl, and she'd kept calling him it ever since.

Jeff was grateful for the medicine Ever had mixed for him. It was a vile, bitter thing, more so than usual, but it slackened off the pain. Jeff relaxed a bit as the medicine did it's job, his muscles no longer so tensed up. He was still bloody, dirty and sore, and his clothes stung as they stuck to his cuts, but he could deal with that. More important right now was trying to soothe Ever.

He propped himself up on his elbow, looking her in the eyes. He spoke as gently and soothingly as he could. "Look, Ev..."

Ever looked at him as he started to speak, though she quickly cut him off. "Don't Ev me!" she said, raising her voice. "I'm sick of hearing all your excuses, it's bull shit!" she said as she rubbed some of the medicine over his smaller wounds. It probably burnt a lot, but at this point she figured he deserved it.

Ares went slightly wide eyed when Ever had yelled let alone cussed. "Oh kid your in trouble" he smirked.

Ever turned to Ares, giving the god a small look "Shut up, like you have any room to talk, throwing fits all over the place today, we don't need your two-cents Ares!" she rolled her eyes before looking back to Jeff.

"Damn Ever, relax. I'm out, good luck...Babe." He mocked Evers nickname as he headed up the stairs.

Ever was borderline ready to kill Ares. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself, yelling wasn't something she liked to do. "I have enough on my plate and you of all people should know that better then anyone else." she sighed

"How am I suppose to focus on any of that when I'm always worried whether or not this will be the last time I see you?" she frowned.

"I stopped asking questions a long time ago, I just don't understand why you don't trust me enough to tell me what's going on" she said looking to him.

Jeff lay back without complaint as she rubbed a salve into the cuts and scrapes along his arms. It burnt like hell, but he didn't complain, and when she'd finished his arms he took off the tattered remains of his jacket and shirt. There were a couple of larger scratches on his chest, but for the most part the cuts were the same as the ones along his arms. His back had escaped unscathed. He'd been facing his opponents when it all happened.

Jeff was ready for a lecture, but then Ever changed her tone. She stopped yelling, and sounded more... hurt. Dammit. Angry I could deal with, but this...

"Ev... look Ev, I want to tell you. I hate doing this to you, making you drop everything so that you can fix me up. I hate making you worry and wonder like this. But I know you. If I do tell you what's going on, you'll just worry even more. Either you'll try to stop me, or you'll try to get involved somehow. I won't let either of those happen."

But Jeff couldn't leave it at that. Not with the way Ever was looking at him. He needed something to reassure her, at least a little bit.

"Ev," he said hesitantly, not wanting to make the promise in case he couldn't keep it, "I can't promise you that I'll stop all together. But I promise that I won't do it again until the solstice meeting. And then I'll try to work something out with the Gods, to get some help. Is that alright? For now?"

"That's such a stupid reason Babe, honestly, if you didn't want me to get involved I wouldn't." She paused. "Okay, I would, but it's only cause I care. I would do it for anyone, you of all people should know that" she sighed.

She listened to him talk as she went to the small dresser in the room, grabbing on of his spare outfits and setting it on the bed next to him.

"No it won't do for now." She frowned "that doesn't give me any solace, but I guess I'll just have to trust you'll come back...even if it's only to say goodbye." She smiled. She knew that being any kind of tamer was dangerous, just cause you were a tamer didn't mean you were invincible.

"Now get dressed, I have guests that I have to get back to," she smirked "and you'll scar them looking like this." She laughed "and don't argue your coming to dinner." She smiled.

Ever smiled, and Jeff was off the hook. He was even getting dinner. His day had just gotten a whole lot better.

"All right, I'm coming." Groaning, he hauled himself up, and swung his legs off the side of the bed. Granted, he was still a mess, but Lucy and Ever had worked wonders on him. What the hell would I do without them? That wasn't really a thought he wanted to dwell on.

"Besides, how could I possibly refuse the chance to taste your fantastic cooking? Just try not to burn anything this time." She hit him with a friendly punch and he laughed. "Beat the cripple why don't you? I'm just going to have a quick shower, get some of this mud and blood off. Gotta be presentable for the guests."

He stood up, and his leg almost buckled under his weight. He limped off into a side room, where there was a small, functional bathroom. Normally he would just warp to his own large, lavish one, but he was way too tired to be warping anywhere now. Still, the water was hot, and though his shower was quick like he promised, it was some of the most amazing three minutes he'd ever experienced. Stepping out he felt like he'd been reborn, entire worlds away from the state he'd been in when he'd warped into the room. Clean, refreshed, his pain more of a dull throb. More importantly, he was alive.

He threw on the clothes, a pair of jeans and a shirt, and stepped out of the bathroom. He'd never been a fan of the traditional clothing so many of the trainers opted for. So inconvenient when warping back and forth between Earth and Reendria.

He smiled at Ever, and followed her out of the room, closing the door behind him. She started leading the way towards the main house. Jeff thought of the guests, and forced himself to walk normally, despite the pain in his leg. Ow. Shit. Aah. Fuck. He couldn't wait to sit down and tuck into some food. He was famished, sore, and tired. But if he couldn't tell Ever where he'd been, he certainly wasn't about to tell some randoms. What could he say instead? What could he and Ever have been doing that would have left him sore and tired?

He grinned to himself mischievously, and chuckled. Nah, I'll just tell them I was putting some of the regents I had fetched for her with the rest of her collection. That would explain why I was in the barn. And, in a moment of sheer stupidity, I tried one, thinking it was mint. Knowing the kind of things Ever works with sometimes, that could easily explain just about any ailment you could think of.

She gave Lucy a small pat as they passed her in the barn. “Thank the gods, I was starting to think he was taking advantage of you down there.” Ares voice boomed through the barn startling the Unicorn a bit catching her off guard, but Ever didn't make any movements, as if she hadn’t even heard his voice. “Ahh, come on pigeon don’t act like that.” Ares rolled his eyes as he followed the two teens out of the barn.

“You know I hate when you call me that.” Ever said calmly as she led the way back into the house. She smiled as they entered the house once again, everyone seeming to look at Ever. She hadn't realized she had gotten Jeff’s blood on her own clothing, she looked down to see where everyone’s eyes were focused. “Shit.” She whispered under her breath. “I mean…” she wasn’t exactly the type to cuss in front of anyone and before Geoffrey had a chance to explain what they were doing she blurted out something that actually made more sense then she thought it would.

“I’m sorry I had to run out like that, the demons and one of my Pegasus’s were not getting along very well needless to say Ba..I mean Jeff and I had to break it up. My Pegasus got a little scraped up in the brawl.” She let out a breath of relief. “I’m just going to go change.” She smiled before quickly making her way up stairs to her bedroom.

Emma Waldorf

"Gotcha!"

Emma was staying near a big box of iron.In there she put the ghost, one of the three souls that she summoned..She knew the box would be too big but, a ghost can escape from little ones. One thing Emma was worried about. How she was she, who was very thin and weak, going to carry this big thing back to the boys..??She bit her lips and closed her eyes hopping that in that in that way, she would find something. She needed a clever idea, but unfortunately, she couldn't think at anything..But, maybe the boys could help her.Hmm, but she knew that one of them was hurt and they probably wouldn't have time for thinkingStill, after analizing the options, she realized that was the only way.She had to announce them.Emma called her spirit friend and said a little bit hurried:
"Umm, you have to help me a little.Go where the boys are and tell Ben, because just he can see you, that weI have one of the souls but it is in a big, big box.Yeah? You understood?"
The ghost looked at Emma and nodded. But before she could go, she asked her:
"What if Ben is the one that is injured? Should I write on something for the other boy?"
Emma stood in there frozed for a minute. She never thought of that. But she took from her little bag, a notebook with Greek simbols, and gave it to the ghost. She smiled a little, because anyone that couldn't see her would see just a notebook flying. She knew it wasn't the perfect moment for a smile, but she couldn't hide it.
"Take this. And, you have to know,Ben is the one with swords and Guy is the other boy.My boyfriend.. And hurry up..!!
She didn't gave her a pen because she knew the ghost didn't needed one.Ghosts could write words with their mind. After she left, Emma sat on the cold ground, worrying for the boys. She hopped they were OK..
The ghost went in the place here the boys were fighting... She realized Ben was the one injured, so Sshe ran to the other one and wrote on one of the notebook's paper:" Emma caught 1 ghost, but in a big box.And she waited near them for a response.

Guy continued fighting. protecting Ben's weak spots. his blind areas and especially his wounded side. Guy oddly saw a floating notebook. Guy Smiled. "I Can't see you but If i could I would hug you. Thanks." Guy said in his rough and deep lion voice. Guy looked at Ragnok in the air combating with the Azool. "Ragnok! Help Ben!" Guy yelled. Ragnok let out a Eagle's screech but it was overwhelmed by about thirty more as a mass of eagles flew over head. They began to attack the Azool to. Guy smiled. "Thanks Gramps." Guy said referring to his nickname for Zeus.

Guy let out a break neck pace inhumanly possible, but then again he wasn't a human right now. He slid to a stop by Emma. "You Feline lover boy is here." Guy said with a smirk on his face, it was more of a toothy half grin, showing large fangs for tearing flesh and breaking bone. Guy looked around. "So you need help?" Guy asked. He assumed she did. That entitie that brought him the note seemed to be rushing. Even though Guy couldn't see her or him, he could still read emotions. He heard screeching and growls. he could tell with the eagles help Ragnok and Ben were beginning to drive the Azool back.

Emma Waldorf

Emma was still on the ground with her eyes closed, when she heard some footsteps. She opened her eyes and saw a big lion standing right in front of her..She jumped in surprise on the big boxand screamed. For a second, she really thought she was gonna be attacked by the lion, but after he spoke, she realized that the huge animal was just Guy and she sighed...Then, she jumped back on the ground and approached him showing him her fists .
"Feline lover, huh? I am gonna show you how to beat one if you will scare me again.."
But she smiled and put her hands down. So, he wasn't hurt..That meant, Ben was injured...Emma looked in the lion's eyes then hugged his big neck. She needed help indeed, but shw was happy that at least they were in live. They needed to go after Ben, but first, the box.She got back to it and pointed it with one finger to Guy.
"Yeah, the ghost needed to be put in a big box like this not to escape,so I didn't have another option then to lock the ghost in one of this. You can't carry this, even in your lion form, Guy.It is too heavy..What to do?And is Ben ok?Oh, this whole situation just because of me..I am so sorry.."

Emma was a bad Tamer, she never said sorry so much in her life, she could be a bitch some times, but when the lives of the others were in danger because of her, she had to change her personality quick. She had to become sweeter and to really care about her friends. And today, Emma knew she had to be like that.To become a good girl for a short time..

Guy smirked as she jumped. She then realized it was him and hugged him. Guy laughed at himself as he realized he was purring. "Okay can't carry it. Maybe ragnok can? Or we could pull it or push it somehow." Guy said shooting ideas. His mind was fast. well at times. Guy was truly smart maybe not be a doctor smart. but he was really good at memorizing things. He saw something he remembered it. That was his brain. He just needed to find out where he had seen a problem like this before.

Guy saw Emma a little sad. He could tell. animals always could. Guy found that in human form he was less perceptive to emotion. Guy rubbed he head on her shoulder. "Listen May. Cheer up. Is it something I did? We can have Chinese food and by that i mean kill me and eat me in this form." Guy joked. He wanted to Cheer her up. He hated for her to be sad. "I bet you've never been kissed by a lion before." Guy said. He laughed and licked her cheek. "Wow May. You should start selling Emma flavored candy. Cause you're sweet." Guy said one of his crappy lines trying to cheer her up with his stupidity. gUy smiled when he said "May" That was a nickname he called her. She seemed to like it.

Guy smiled at Emma. He stuck his head under her arm and rubbed her side with his. "A lion hug." Guy said laughing. "there's a first for everything right." Guy said smiling at her.

Midna

Suddenly, Ever and another boy entered the house. Ever had blood on her clothing, while the boy seemed to be...limping......well, maybe just a little bit. Midna wondered if he was okay. She gave a look of concern as they entered the room.

Ever explained that a Pegasus and the demons (apparently the myths that the boy was tamer of) were caught in a brawl, and they had to seperate it. Ever then excused herself to go change. Once Ever left, Midna examined the tamer in front of them. He had a mysterious look to him...Midna couldn't explain it.

Out of concern Midna asked, "is everything alright? Are any of the other myths hurt as well?"
Midna said this rather softly, but that was the way she talked.
