Malile Uite

Describe myself with three words? "I don't know"

0 · 225 views · located in Mid-Night Delight

a character in “Taste of the Mid-Night's Lust”, as played by Froggiepril

Description

Image
Her hair changes constantly in every color of the rainbow, but primarily black, red, blue, purple and white. She's got a tattoo on her left wrist that reads "risk it" as well as some other tattoos; one on her ankle depicting an anarchy symbol with a heart around it, neck a tiny butterfly with overdimentioned, feathered wings, and inner left thigh some gregorian symbols, you can ask her what it says. She's 22 years old, standing at 5 feet 6.

Personality

Malile is outgoing, at times overly social. She loves adventure, and is often restless if any two days look the same. She studies psychology, and works part time as a bartender. She's friendly, but will keep people at a certain distance. She's got some heart cases that she's very passionate about. She works out a couple of times a week, but doesn't really focus on the effect of it, just getting the energy release. She's beyond caring about what anybody might think about her.

So begins...

Malile had the early shift this Saturday, as luck would have it. She was just finished, people where just about starting to finish their shifts and get their drinking on, and the bartenders and bouncer that met her in the backroom as she was changing into black jeans and black and grey striped top that read "Toxic waste of space" with a biohazard symbol interlocked with the anarchy symbol in in red the right corner. She was ruffling up her hair a little and adjusting her makeup when one of the bouncers got up behind her "Busy day?" he asked, his strict voice had scared the life out of her on her first shift, but by now, she was used to him being around "Not busy enough, yet" she smiled triumphantly, knowing that he and all the others left on the late night shift would get the most customers, all she had to deal with was the usual drunks. She waved him goodbye, he shook his head at her "you're wearing that?" he complained "It's summer" she insisted, it was, and she was refusing to put on a jacket. "You'll freeze" he warned, and waved back as she walked out the back door and onto the street.

She was a few yards away from the corner to get out on the main street when a guy with an impressive mowhawk rounded the corner. She glanced at him with a smile, not really caring if he noticed. She figured, looking like that he was used to, and probably liked the attention, and if he wasn't, and got angry at her for looking, or insulted because she liked what she saw, that was his problem. She only intended to go out and have a blast. None of her friends could make it, so she had decided to pick up her old punk clothes from when she only had one style, and see what the night brought.

As American Psycho came to an end in his earbuds and Jonny rounded a corner, still debating in his head on where he should go, he almost ran into someone who was just coming around the corner. A rather beautiful someone. Her shirt was the first thing he had noticed about her, the Anarchy symbol stood loud and proud on the front, begging to be noticed. Smirking, he looked down at his belt buckle, which also held the Anarchy symbol, a gift he had recieved from one of his friends. "Ahh, what's your problem with the federal government?" he questioned her nonchalantly, giving her one of his friendly smiles.

He then thought about whether she was wearing the shirt just to wear it, or if she was a legit Anarchist. These days, you could never be sure what category people fell into. Hell, he didn't even know what category he fell into. Looking at her, he bit his lip. She was quite beautiful, indeed.

Maliles face lit up in a smile as he stopped and talked to her, a much better reaction than she had dared hope for "I'll admit I'm glad the government is there at times" she said, pausing, weighing her words, she did want to impress, she'd often experienced 'punks' like him being very thought trough, smart even. "I'm, like everyone else, convinced that my opinions are the right ones, and if a majority of people hadn't been idiots or monsters, anarchy would work perfectly. Humanity should have evolved beyond needing babysitters, but certain people help me understand what the government really does, but then, maybe if they were raised to see the world and think for them selves, they would be better, smarter" she smiled, a bit shy, as if looking for approval for her answer. She was no full time anything, but punk laid close to her heart.

Jonny listened carefully to her answer, then smiled when she said something about her opinions. He was always trying to prove his point across himself, and didn't dare listen to anyone else's, even if it was remotely similar to his own. This was part of the reason that he was thought as an ass hat by a lot of poeple, espeically the Type-A girls. "I totally agree with that statement," he replied to her, then looked her up and down. There was no question, the girl had serious style, and that was a big thing for Jonny to admit. "I'm Jonny, for the record," he then said, holding his hand out for her to shake.

Maybe he found someone right in the head to hang out with for the night, seeing as his band mates were beyond wasted and in no condition to wonder the streets of Seattle. Looking at her now, Jonny even went as far as thinking that they could really get along.

As Malile shook his hand, Jonny smiled even wider. "That's one cool name, Mali. Sounds unique, unlike mine," he laughed, then shoved both his hands back in his jacket pockets. His eyes followed the direction in which she nodded, a club which seemed to be generally full of life. Jonny could hear the music blasting all the way from where they were standing. He went to say something when he heard the distant rumble of thunder in the sky. It was useless to look up at the sky, really, since it was impossible to determine how cloudy it really was.

Looking back at Mali, he nodded at her. "Sure, I'd love to join you on this adventure," he replied, then began walking in the direction of the club, looking back and waiting for her to catch up with him so that they were side by side. "Ahh, if I were to explain to you what I hate about the government, we'd be here all night," he laughed softly. There was no doubt in his mind that Mali wasn't a punk at heart. There have been countless times when he had run into various girls who'd claimed they were Rebellious, Cynical, Anarchist, but it was so clear that they had no idea what Jonny was talking about.

Mali laughed "it's actually more common in Europe" she replied at his name, laughing lightly at the comment that his name also was unique. She chuckled at the comment about it being an adventure "I don't know how adventurous that club is, but it's one of the few places I've found that doesn't just play techno and pop" She kept up to his pace, regretting her stubborn 'it's summer' attitude when she heard the thunder. Oh well, when she got a little drunk, she wouldn't really notice how cold it was. "Well, I've got all night" she reassured, curious to see if he was real, or just liked the punk style. She didn't know much about american politics though, she would admit that much.

"Well, that club seems legit to me," Jonny said sarcastically, noticing the lack of good bouncers in the front, and how they barely even glanced at people's IDs. He did have to agree with her about the musical choices in there, though. "Pop is nothing but a load of words with cheery, dancy beats which aim to bring us all into the same general herd of brainless twats," he sighed, then got in line behind a petite, blonde girl wearing a pink dress. He smirked to himself, thinking of all the comments that he could have made, but instead chose to stand there with a straight face as they all waited.

The music only got louder as the line started moving forward, and Jonny turned back to Mali as more thunder rumbled in the distance. "Not ONE day goes by here when it doesn't rain. Makes it extremely difficult to keep up with this," he said, gesturing to his red mohawk, which he assmed still looked presentable.

"I use all three of the above," Jonny replied to Mali when she named his favorite hair products. "And the umbrella." Little-miss-pink-dress made some wild hand gesture, and almost smacked Jonny right in the face, which he didn't particularly enjoy. He wasn't even in the club yet and people were already attacking him. Of course that wasn't a fair statement, she obviously had no idea that she even did anything.

Mali's whistle made him jump, then as she began speaking in a language that sounded to him like Slovak, he grinned. "Ahh, FINALLY I meet someone who doesn't just speak the common English language of this country," he sighed, then let Mali lead him around the line, and into the club. "I speak Russian."

Taking in the sight, Jonny nodded his approval. Sure enough, it was crowded, but the bar seemed fairly empty, which was good. Looking over at Mali, he exclaimed "Wanna do shots?! I haven't drank since last night!"

Jonny wasn't sure what song was currently playing, all he knew was that it had to be Dubstep, based on the series of bass drops and other electronic noises. "My band mades are SHIT WASTED, and I didn't feel like joining in their alcoholic-related activities," he exclaimed, following her to the bar and watching as the bartender slid two shot glasses over to them. Smirking, he picked up one of the glasses and returned her cheer, then downed the shot.

"Ahh, good shit," he said, setting the glass down and looking at her, a small smile planted on his lips. "So tell me, are you a happy drunk, angry drunk, paranoid drunk? I've come across all sorts in my lifetime!"

Jonny laughed as Mali asked him what kind of band he's into. "Ohh, we do that jazz, you know what I'm sayin," he said sarcastically, then waved himself off. "Nahh, we do Punk-Rock, and a little metal! It's totally a blast, when everyone's sober," he admitted, shaking his head. When she told him what kind of drunk she was, he smirked.

"I don't really get drunk that easily, that's one of the things that piss me off...it would be nice to get away from reality for a couple hours, even it it means a hangover. I don't really know what kind of drunk I am. And you don't gotta worry about me running off anytime soon," he reassured her, then took an opportunity to supply the next round of alcohol, 358 Magnum shots. As the bartender slid the glasses over to them, he raised his eyebrows and picked one of them up, holding it in the air. "To meeting new people?" he smiled.

"I'm lead singer as well as the lead guitarist," Jonny replied to Mali's question, then laughed. "Our drummer's a total tool, but right now he's the best we can find," he then said, shaking his head as he ordered the second round of 358 Magnum shots.

He then smiled at her next statement, shaking his head as he downed a third shot, sadly not feeling any effects. The closest he has gotten to feeling tipsy was imagining the room spinning, but even that had lasted for a brief moment. "I guess you can attempt to get me drunk, Mali," he winked.

Mali tilted her head, getting a mildly dumb, dreaming face "Of course you had to be" she smiled at herself and her own internal joke. She always had a weakspot for musical men, and punks... That and the alcohol lead her to slide her chair a little closer, of course the damn thing made noise when moved on the floor, so she stopped, not getting as close as she'd might want, but close enough to have their knees touching. She was about to down the shot, but handed it over to him. "You better start drinking then" she said with a raised eyebrow. She waved the bartender over, waving her close she talked into her ear, explaining some things, gesticulating. It wasn't really secret what they were talking about, but she had to admit she enjoyed getting to surprise Jonny.

The bartender came over with four empty shot glasses and quarter of a small vodka bottle, filling them all up. Mali placed the glasses in front of him, saying with her eyebrow raised in challenge "let's start with a cow, and see how many more games I'll have to come up with" she reached her hand out, and got the bottle, fairing it a little before handing it back after almost dropping it. She got a shot of vodka instead, blowing the bartender a kiss.

Andrea walked through the club doors. It had been a long day and she was so hungry. She didn't want some blood bag either. She wanted fresh blood. Andrea walked over to the bar and asked for a Coke. She looked around at the people in the club. There were a few tasty looking people out tonight. There was a couple dancing, some chick at the bar near her. She spotted a dude with a very bold mohawk.

Smirking down at the counter, Jonny quickly realized the game that Mali had set up. He had played it several times in his past, with his drunk band mates who quickly fell under the influence of the alcohol being served. Shrugging, he started downing the shots, one by one, and by the fourth one, he made a face. He felt his throat burn, but he didn't mind the feeling, in fact it was much welcomed. Looking back at Mali, he smiled, throwing his hands in the air and shrugging, then tapped his hands against the counter in rhythm.

The song had changed just then, something with a lot of base and few vocals. Looking out towards the crowd, he noticed the people dancing and shook his head. "I need more booze," he simply called out, then looked back at Mali. "You enjoy dancing?"

Mali's face turned to one of friendly disdain as he downed all four without a problem. She smiled quickly though, as he called out that he needed more booze. As the bartender approached, Mali shot in "can't you just leave the bottle?" she looked from Jonny to the bottle and back again, waiting to see if he actually wanted whatever was left in the bottle. Her own world was getting a little hazy, lights brighter, so she figured she's slow down a little before she did something stupid. She liked Jonny's company, and she found him drop dead hot, she was not about to get wasted and make a fool of herself.

Did she enjoy dancing? She danced, at some degree... She weighed it back and forth a bit "I enjoy it more than people around me I guess" she laughed. She was interested in learning different styles of dance, but so far she was just beyond the no harm done to other on the same dancefloor level. "Was it an invitation?" she winked.

As the bartender walked up to them and actually left the entire bottle of booze, Jonny smiled and nodded, then poured himself two more shots, downing them effortlessly and once again feeling his throat burn. He thought his vision was becoming a little hazy, but maybe that was just him wishing that he could get a little buzzed. But then again, if he did get buzzed, who would look after Mali? Thinking of it now, he laughed to himself. He hadn't known Mali for more than six hours but he could already tell that this was a girl he could see himself spending a lot of time with. He wanted to see what other events the night held, and he wasn't about to let anyone else sweep her away.

Smiling at her answer he then held up his hands, responding, "Maybe it was an invitation! Show me what you got, even though this is not the music I usually dance to!"
