Personality

Mince is a survivor. In order to be the last of his family, he has developed a tenacity to stay alive. He is not so optimistic as his friend Trayla, but he is not melancholy.

Equipment

In his hand he carries something like a shepherd’s crook. He has other necessities for survival--a hunting knife, bit of rope, bow and arrow which is he passable at shooting. He has a few other odds and ends on his person. He also has a dog-like companion named Aussqer.

History

Mince’s family was of small means, but they did own some livestock. A few of his kin was decimated by a particularly bad shockwave, bordering on earthquake, that turned their family home to rubble. Mince and his father escaped alive, but his mother and young sister were casualties. Not long after, Mince found his father murdered, by a desperate thief taking their livestock. Any remaining family members were picked off by disease.

He has a way with animals. His talents were sought in the forest community for taming wild beasts. He is also an excellent tracker. His personal goal is to seek out the rare creatures of the Vanaheim Forest. He wants most to see the mythical Rhaesk, a creature of great elusiveness. Now that the unique fauna of Vanaheim Forest is disappearing due to the Darkwave, Mince is on a mission to save them.
