Personality: Since she became a mother, Liz had matured greatly from who she used to be before. She's more responsible, able to actually care for herself and her son. Liz has a kind heart, and doesn't take anything from anyone when it comes to the way she's raised her son and the choices she made to get where she's at. She cherishes the friends she still has at her side since her life changed, and would try to help them to the best of her abilities. It's hard for her to trust someone because of all the people who have let her down in the past though. Because of the trust issues and her past conflicts, she's found it hard to forgive and forget things. Overall, she's independent, around others she is more laid back and funny, but when she is with Chase, the more overprotective side comes out.
Story Of How You Came To TPA: Liz could never understand the reasoning behind why teens in her high school were getting pregnant like it was a trend, she always thought it was better to wait till you were settled down and had the money and time to raise a child. She could also never see how hard it was to just use a condom, really. At 17, Liz learned that mistakes happen, and that condoms could break very easily. After 5 months with her boyfriend Alex, a senior in high school, for the first time.. she missed her period. After work one day, she picked up a test and immediately used it. Positive. Unsure who to tell first, she called Alex, believing he would take it easier than her parents would. Upon telling him she was pregnant, he lost it on her, saying he couldn't do it, he had a life ahead of him with the full ride to a university and other unnecessary things, and hung up on her. By the time she made it home and telling her parents, she was in tears and at a loss of words. So were they. And three days later, they kicked her out.
