Description

Image
Name: Tim Drake
Alias: Red Robin, Boy Wonder
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species/Ethnicity: Caucasian
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 170 lbs (77 kg)
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Current Location: New York City
Occupation: Vigilante, Adventurer, Student...
Abilities and Skills: Master martial artist, escapologist, gifted intellect, master detective, and master tactician.

Personality: After being a genius and excelling in martial arts, Tim has learned to be a very focused and observant individual. This doesn't stop him from being cocky or showing off his bravado. Tim isn't a modest guy and will show off whatever he has, whether it's skill or wealth. When he is serious about something, he won't settle for jokes or interference in his work. Sometimes he feels that the ends can actually justify the means.

History/Background: Drake is the son of Jack and Janet Drake. When he was a child, he visited the circus with his parents and managed to get a photo with the Graysons before the show. That night, Tim met Dick Grayson before the young acrobat's parents were assassinated.

Tim Drake had followed Batman and Robin's career ever since the murder of the Flying Graysons. One day, he saw the original Robin on television performing a move he had seen Dick Grayson perform at the circus; he quickly made the connection that Dick Grayson was Robin, and after learning that Dick Grayson was the ward of Bruce Wayne, he realized that Bruce Wayne was Batman.

After the death of Jason Todd, Batman grew more violent and reckless. Tim noticed that this wasn't in Batman’s true character, and he sought Dick's help. At this time, Dick was going by the code-name Nightwing. Tim tried to convince Dick to retake the mantle of Robin, saying it was the only way to keep Batman sane. Dick agreed to this, but said that he would only help Batman as Nightwing. Tim did not like Dick’s decision, maintaining that Batman needed Robin. Eventually, he was able to get Alfred to assist in altering the Robin costume so that he could help Batman himself. Alfred and Dick gave Tim their approval as the new Robin, but only so he could keep Batman sane. However, Batman protested that he did not want a new partner, while noting Tim's potential. Eventually, Batman accepted Tim as Robin under one condition: Tim had to endure physical and mental training before he could become Robin so that he would not suffer the same fate as Jason Todd.

While Tim was training, his parents were kidnapped. Tim continued to focus on his work and foiled the plans of a hacker thief. Meanwhile, Batman went to rescue Tim’s parents. However, Batman arrived too late. They had been poisoned -- his mother killed, and his father in a coma. Batman worried the tragedy might cloud Tim's mind with thoughts of revenge, but he was reassured when Tim saved Batman and Vicki Vale from the Scarecrow. Afterwards, Batman allowed Tim to take on the mantle of the Boy Wonder, and gave him a modernized version of the costume.

After becoming the new Robin, Tim fought alongside Batman and tested his training on the streets of Gotham. After Batman's death however, the bright young man slipped from his positive outlook. He became darker in a sense. He abused alcohol, and didn't show as much mercy as before. Collateral damage isn't a worry for him anymore.

Name: Sasha Martinez
Alias: Splinter
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species/Ethnicity: Meta human
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 130 lbs
Sexuality: Bisexual
Ethnicity: Puerto Rican
Current Location: New York City
Occupation: Villain. Involved in underground trafficking.
Abilities and Skills: Replication

Personality: Sasha is a very feisty girl, that usually believes that she can get whatever she wants by simply wanting it. She may not be the biggest girl on the streets, but she proves that size doesn't matter when you have numbers. She's cocky, but doesn't let that get in the way of any tasks at hand. Even though she's young, Sasha has shown to outsmart her brother, and even know of his plans without him giving her full detail. She's calculating and is somewhat a natural tactician. Don't confuse her for a super genius however. Sasha isn't one to hack computers or create weaponry. She actually hates things having to do with too much science. Being stubborn is one of her traits that acts as a double edged blade. She gutsy and won't give in easily, but sometimes she doesn't know when to quit. She hates losing more than anything, and may throw a tantrum over it. Sasha dreams of living a life she could never receive by being "good". She's loyal to her brother Michael, but sometimes worries about his goals as it always seems to change.

History/Background: Sasha and Michael were born in two different parts of New York City. Michael was born in the Bronx, his mother being Stephanie Rosario, and his father was a man named Tyrone Wilson. During Stephanie's pregnancy, she and Tyrone had issues with the way he had been bringing money into the house. He was involved in various crimes, from selling drugs to being a hitman. Stephanie and Tyrone separated before Michael was born, which gave Stephanie the opportunity to name her son with her own last name to spite Tyrone. Though Stephanie wanted nothing to do with Tyrone, he still found ways to see his son. With time, Stephanie had grown fond of another man. His name was Luis Martinez. She loved him more than she ever loved Tyrone, and soon gave birth to Sasha.

Though the two siblings lived under the same roof, Michael and Sasha had their distinct differences and influences. There were some times where Michael felt he didn't fit into the family, especially after his mother married Luis and took his name. The boy liked being with his father whenever he got the chance, while Sasha grew up being mostly sheltered. Stephanie didn't want her daughter exposed to the things Michael had been exposed to already. Ironically their sheltering led to her interest in the life Michael seemed to tell her about while they tried to slip into their sleep. He explained how much bigger his room was at his father's place and how much more fun he had with his father. With time, Sasha grew into a very intellectual girl with her mother and father wanting her to be a lawyer or a doctor, while Michael drove down the same road his father had at the tender age of fourteen. One day, while Sasha was leaving from school, she got picked up by Michael and the new SUV he had received as a late birthday present after he had gotten his license. The fourteen year old Sasha couldn't believe her brother was getting nearly anything he wanted, and couldn't help but ask how she could get in on whatever he was doing. Michael wasn't even against his sister joining in as he immediately told her about this new product he had to transport. He told her that if she had the guts to tag along, he'd give her half of what he got paid. Unfortunately, this new product that Michael was transporting got him driven off the road. The SUV rolled off the road before the containers holding this product leaked in a gaseous form that the brother and sister inhaled while the vehicle was on its side. The pursuers were ready to seize whatever this product was before they heard police sirens closing in.

After that day, Michael kicked out of his mother's home and lived with his father who took full custody of him. Sasha wasn't allowed to leave the house except if she had school or an extracurricular. Though the two siblings were separated from one another, they began to find something happening to both of them. Within that week, Michael noticed that strange things happened when he tried to grab or pick things up, while Sasha kept feeling like she could see another person with her at the corner of her eye every time she let her mind wander. Sasha eventually called her brother up when she learned what was going on as she had no one else she felt safe talking to. She was surprised though as Michael had told her something similar had been happening. Michael urged her to skip school so they could see what they could do and possibly learn to master their skills. It took time, but Sasha finally caved in and skipped school regularly, until eventually Michael pulled her under his wing. The two each gave one another aliases as they got involved in crime with Michael's father, Tyrone. Tyrone thought the powers they gained were incredible, and knew that could only gain more money and power in New York City, especially with the corrupt police authorities and the stuck up superheroes. For three years, the three became like a small crime family. Michael was recently locked up on Riker's Island, but for what reason?

Gender: Male
Species/Ethnicity: Meta human
Height: 6'1

Current Location: Riker's Island, New York City (Prison)
Occupation: Involved in gang activity and trafficking
Abilities and Skills: Amalgamation; can merge himself to another item or one item into another by combining the molecules or morphing the molecules next to each other.

Personality: Like his sister, Michael has a bit of an ego, but he seems to go weak with his greed envy. The young man is never satisfied and always wants something that someone has if it's better than what he possesses. He's not the most trustworthy man as he would cross anyone standing in his way or whom he has grown envious of. Though he may wear a smile most of the time, Michael isn't one to play nice. Some call him a lunatic for some of his behavior, but he just believes they don't just don't understand the dark sens of humor he has. The only person he truly shows any care or respect for, maybe his half sister, but blood may not run thick enough for the both of them. Unlike most older brothers that would chose to be very protective, Michael tend to let Sasha do what she wants. He treats her like she walks on water, but he knows that he can't protect her from everything. Sasha is his best and only true ally, and he likes it that way

Red Robin

Robin narrows his eyes beneath his mask as he heard a voice over the intercom. For a second he wished he would have went with Cyborg’s previous plan to make the tower underground, but he had to deal with what was going on. From the sound of the visitor’s voice, Robin could tell that the man wasn’t hostile. This didn’t take away any suspicion on him however. Keeping a cool head, he watched as Starfire and Raven volunteered to greet the visitor who seemed to be accompanied by Dovahkiin as well.

“Hey Beastboy, how about you go down there with the girls. No one enters the tower without my say so. The powers out, so we can’t take chances.” Robin ordered before looking at who he had left. “Wondergirl, you go on patrol. Don’t get hurt out there.” Robin ordered the female before heading toward the stairs. “Connor, you just stay in the tower, I don’t need you starting trouble again. Static, follow me, we need to get the power back on.” Robin requested as he held the door open to the stairway. He wished Cyborg was here. Things would be a lot easier with him around. He needed the tower’s power on, especially since the sun had gone down just moments ago.

After the kiss had been over, Michael looked at Alice blankly as she giggled. He wanted to question why he had actually done what he did, but a feeling stopped him from doing so. Michael felt less tense in bed with her, and even felt like she had awaken him from his exhaustion. A playful smirk appeared on his face as his hand rested at her waist.

“You know I owed you.” Michael said as he gave her another kiss before rolling out of bed and landing on his face. He grunted at the pain he felt from the fall, but got up with ease and seemed to keep his smile on his face. “I’d love to sleep with you, but I just remembered all the shit I have to get done on streets. No one knows I’m back, so think I might start with that.” Michael said this as he walked toward his shoes that had been carelessly kicked toward one of the walls in the room. He slipped them on with ease before sighing and walking back to pass the bed on his way out. “You know… I’m a little mad I didn’t try that before. Too bad I’m just another guy.” Michael said as he walked by with a shrug. He'd have to get his mind off of all of this, but going out and having should make that easy enough. After grabbing and absorbing his mask on the floor, he phased through the wall of the safehouse. Michael then walked through the woodsy area until he reached a sidewalk. Bronx was much different from Manhattan, and it would be a pretty far walk before he found a place to change clothes, especially from Orchid Beach. Why would he walk though? Stepping off the sidewalk, he sank into the street as if it were water. Moments later, he appeared within a crowd of people on the fairly busy street known as Fordham Road. There were a few stores he could see around him, along with a many stares. People wondering where he had come from and why he was dressed the way he was. Some guessed he was from the jailbreak, while others decided to mind their own businesses. Walking into place called V.I.M., Michael found himself stopped by a man who seemed to be security for the store.

“Hey man, you can’t come up in this store like that. Get out or we’re calling cops!” The man said as he pointed out the door. Michael didn’t seem fazed though as he continued walking as if he didn’t hear a word. That’s when Michael found himself face to face with the now angered security figure. Michael could only smirk. Even when the man grabbed him by his shirt, Michael didn’t feel a tinge of intimidation.

“You really gotta chill out.” Michael said before stepping on one of the man’s feet while phasing it into the floor. “Oh my bad…” Michael said before doing the same to the other while the man looked down in shock. His grip loosened on Michael shirt, allowing the criminal to walk right around him as he broke free.

“Hey! Help! My feet! My feet!” The man screamed as masses of people walked past him giving him strange looks. Within a few minutes Michael was seen walking right by the man with a new set of clothes. Michael was now wearing a simple outfit consisting of jeans, a black t-shirt and a fresh pair of Nikes. His smile soon faded though as he heard the sirens coming his way. He could of ran, but what was the fun in that? In an instant, his mask phased around his face before his body and new clothes became one with his now organic metal form. The show was about to begin.

Red Robin

Robin made it down the stairwell as fast as he could, still wishing the power was back on. When he finally made it into the room with the generator, he turned to Static with a nod

“I’m glad you’re here to help us out. It’s hard to trust people these days… You know, sometimes I’m wondering if I’m becoming the old man.” He said referring to Batman. He made his way to a computer hooked up to the wall, and smirked as he noticed it working. “Must be solar powered, which gives me an idea on a counter measure to this energy crisis.” Robin almost seemed to say to himself before a secret door opened up, revealing some sort of android that resembled Cyborg in a way. “Perfect. Static, he’s going to fix the generator, and then you can just jumpstart it.” Robin said, feeling a little better despite the situation only being a bit better. “So, how’s working solo treating you?” Robin asked to pass the time as the android went to work on the generator.

Compound & Wonder Girl
Death of a True Villain... Birth of a False Hero

Michael should have figured that as soon as he exited the store, he’d be face to face with few police officers. He didn’t like playing tango with the NYPD, but if it could get word out that he was back on the streets, he’d just have to have fun. With a smirk, he got started by first slamming his fist into a man holding a can of Redbull. Snagging the can, Michael seemed to absorb it rather than drink it.

“Here we go.” Michael said before phasing into the sidewalk and phasing out of the street in front of an officer before hitting and knocking the man out cold. “Easy!” Michael yelled out before grabbing the officer’s partner who had shot at him and slammed him against the glass window of the car. Michael then made it so the man’s body became glass like the window before shattering the officer’s face. “Come on!” Michael yelled out once again as bullets seemed to be ineffective. He just stood out in the street as proud as he could be.

Cassie straightened up as her anger started to boil up seeing the officer getting smashed and beaten up by just this one guy. Time to be a hero. she jumped off the building and landed gracefully in front of the villain, eyes glaring at him. “Stop in the name justice!” Her hand reached to her side as she pulled out her whip swinging it around her head before she cracked it on the ground. A few sparkles of lightening rebounded off her whip.

Michael stopped as he heard the teenage heroine call out to him. He looked her up and down, as if sizing her up and then chuckled.

“Stop, in the name of justice!” He said, as he mocked her tone. He eyed her whip before chuckling again. “Who are you suppose to be?” Michael asked before a grin spread across his face as he felt that he knew exactly who she was. “Don’t tell me that you’re one of those dominatrix chicks. I’m not really into S&M.” Michael joked before an officer shot a taser gun at him. Unfortunately for the officer, Michael caught the dart-like electrodes and pulled the officer toward him. With his increased strength and durability, the officer slammed straight into Michael’s hard body without the criminal even being fazed by the impact. He snickered a bit before looking down at the officer before stepping on his chest. “Well, maybe I’m into the doing harm to others part. It’s fun sometimes.

Cassie disregarded his smartass comments and mockery. She wasn’t here to play games with him and after the day she had she was ready to kick some serious ass. She watched him take down another officer like it was no hassle. Who is this guy? “For your information I am Wonder Girl and I’m here to teach you some manners.” She flung her golden whip around her head before swinging it towards him. It wrapped around his ankles as she pulled it back towards herself trying to knock him off his feet.

Michael had thought the rope was going for his torso at first, and readied to counter, until the rope quickly wrapped tightly around his ankles. He felt the shock travel throughout his body before being pulled off his feet.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!” Michael screamed as he jerked around on his back as electricity flowed through his body. “Psyche!” Michael yelled as his body became composed of the electricity from the rope. He liked the feeling of it, and it kind of reminded him of the electricity that came from Dov’s body, except it had its own flavor to it. Sitting himself up after his transformation, Michael shot a bolt of electricity straight toward Wonder Girl, however, it seemed to miss and hit several bystanders behind her. “Oops…” He said with a smirk before phasing out from the rope and admiring his new body as if he had the time to. “I got a nice body, don’t I?” Michael joked.

Cassie couldn’t help but smirk at her successfully attack but her face immediately dropped again see his body changing. “Shit,” she cursed underneath her breath as she dodged the upcoming attack. Hearing cries coming from behind her she spun around to see a number of citizens collapsed on the ground and twitching from the electric shock. “I am so sorry,” she was fuming now and tugged on her whip as she turned back to face him but he had already gotten himself free from its grip. “What’s your deal?” Cassie snarled at him but she didn’t wait for a response as she flung her whip back to herself and strapped back to her costume. She then ran with super speed to the nearest unoccupied police car and picked it up. She held the vehicle over her head like it was nothing before she threw it at him. Cassie knew that he would properly very easily dodge it so she sprinted towards the next car and threw it at him as well. In total she flung three vehicles at him.

“My deal?” Michael asked before he ran to his left to dodge the first car she threw. “Ha!” He shouted before another car flew toward not just him, but a small girl staring at Wonder Girl as she fought heroically.

“Wonder Girl!” The girl shouted in excitement before shrieking as she noticed the car coming her way. Michael glanced at the girl before moving in front of the girl and shooting two bolts of electricity at the vehicle, causing it to explode while in mid air. The remained of the police car skid to a halt about two meters from both Michael and the girl.

“No need to fear! Compound is here!” Michael said as he took a heroic pose with his chest proudly out. “I’d make a pretty good hero, right Wonder Girl?” He said, now knowing her name.

Cassie’s eyes widened seeing the young girl in the firing line. “NO!” She shouted about to leapt forward trying to save her but it looked like the villain already had it covered. She felt a little grateful that he didn’t let the girl get crushed but that didn’t mean she was going let him go off easily. He did still hurt all those police officers. Cassie frowned at him when he asked her if he was a good hero. “No,” she spoke coldly before she moved right behind him and picked up the girl. She sprinted to a safe distance and dropped the girl to the ground. “You will be saver watching from this distance,” Cassie gave the young girl a soft smile before making her way back to Compound. “Time to finish this,” she flung her whip back out. She let her whip fly towards his ankles, this time however it wrapped itself around both his legs and pulled them together. Cassie heaved him towards her so that he was lying right in front of her. She then slammed her red boot down on the top have of his chest with all her might. “You will never be a hero,” she spoke in disgust.

Michael’s eyes widened at the sudden speed of Wonder Girl’s movements. He hadn’t even been ready for the next move. Being as cocky as he was, he let her attend to her hero business with the small girl.

Unfortunately, doing so left him open to be assaulted. Yet again he felt the heroine’s rope wrap around his legs. This time when she pulled him though, she managed to follow it up with a stomp onto his chest. In most circumstances, the stomp would have phased through, or Wonder Girl may have been shocked, but Michael’s body seemed to go solid for a moment.

“Fuck!” He cursed as he felt his body numb. “Too… much… power…” Michael let out as his body began to sporadically release electricity in random directions. Then his body seemed to brighten with a powerful light that engulfed the entire scene. His screams filled the street before the light vanished, leaving nothing but a black outline of where his body once was... He could no longer play his part as the villain.

Splinter

Sasha had only slept an hour before suddenly feeling the urge to wake up. It was as if she knew that something was up. Upon waking up, she noticed blanket over her, but who could have covered her. She couldn’t see Alice or her brother doing something like tucking someone in, so she just assumed that she just covered herself in her sleep. She was sure that she looked like shit right now, but that didn’t stop her from getting up and creating a clone that replaced her in bed. What she was doing wasn’t as effective as sleeping herself, but it was better than nothing. Looking around, she noticed that Replica was asleep and that Michael was gone.

“Shit.” Sasha said before made her way over to Alice and grabbed her right breast. “Wake up… or I’m going to leave you here. We need to get to a stronghold or back to the headquarters so we can let everyone know what’s up. Oh, aaaaaand so I can change, take a nice shower, and a bunch of other stuff.” Sasha before smirking down at Alice as her hand slowly left the other girl’s chest.

Red Robin

“I wish I knew what it was like for a change. If only I had the manpower on my own to just go out and do that.” Robin said before looking to observe the android’s work. “Just a little more experience and I can probably be just like the old man.” Robin added. The two waited patiently until the android stepped away from the newly restored generator and returned from the panel where it came from. “Alright, you’re up Static.”

Sasha had been glad to be back at HQ, and thought she’d see her older brother until she heard the horrifying news. Her eyes widened with shock as the news reporters words seemed to echo in her head. The scene played through her head as she tried to find some sort of sign that her brother may be alive, that maybe he’s just pulling a rouse like he had with his arrest. The girl’s face remained blank, even when Alice had asked her a question.

“No…” Sasha said in a whisper as she shook her head in disbelief. She tried to speak again, but her words didn’t seem to come out. That’s when the tears came running down her cheeks as if to truly answer Alice’s question. A few members of Virus began moving toward Sasha, but several clones were generated to block them from getting to her. “I’m going to take a shower… I want Wilson here when I get out.” Sasha ordered coldly before slowly walking off toward the bathroom. The clones showed faces of complete sadness and depression before vanishing unwillingly.

Brother Blood

In a dimly lit chamber, five individuals were seen watching the news of Compounds downfall. The groups stood in silence until the television was shut off. The older man standing in the center of the other four smirked wickedly as if happy to see the young gang banger gone.

“What a shame. With Virus losing its ‘best man’, they no can no longer serve as threat or an ally to our cause… It may have actually proved to be interesting to add Compound as the final piece of this puzzle of a team. Get ready, Elementals.” The evil Brother Blood said, his smirk still intact.

Compound

"So this is it? This is what it's like... To think there would be more to do than just sit back and watch the world. The view isn't even all that great... It is better than being in jail or in hell though, if hell exists. I bet people are calling me a bitch for dying to that Wonder Chick. I can hear on the streets right now. 'Compound got beat by some blonde dominatrix superhero bitch.' Fuck that! I wanna another shot at her! When I'm not running on a fucking Redbull and a kiss. Haha, at least I got a kiss before it was time to say goodbye. Anyway, why am I talking to myself? Probably because I'm alone, which sucks... Wait a sec... GARCIA!"

Red Robin

Robin nodded his head, feeling relieved that power was jump started. Connor's arrival had been proof that the power was up and running smoothly.

"Thanks, Static. I don't think I need anything else from you, so just make yourself at home... Ad thanks for the advice." Robin thanked before turning his attention to Connor. Looking at the address, he could have swore he saw it before. "I really need you here Connor..." Robin paused as a radical idea jumped through his brain. "But if this is bothering you, I want you to go investigate the your visions. I'm sure we can make up for the manpower." Robin seemed to be plotting in his head, but the only thing that surfaced from his thoughts was a subtle smirk. Robin then made his way into the elevator and then outside before feeling a buzz on his communicator. Taking it out, he could see several spots with blinking on the map of the city. These were all areas that had called for the police. The leader of the superpowered team, nearly gasped as he saw how horrible things currently were. "Shit!" He said out loud as he looked at the group gathered outside. He could see Raven and Beastboy, but no one else on his team. Feeling bad about dismissing Connor, Robin clenched his fists. He had to think, and think fast.

Wonder Girl seem to already be in close proximity with one of the incidents so he ruled that one out. He didn't whether or not Beastboy and this new arrival were sparring or not, this seemed serious and maybe even organized.

"Sorry to mess up introductions but I'm going to need your help with some kind of hostile gang activity... That's if you're all heroes. I uploaded the crime radar within the city on you're communicators. "Dov, team up with Raven and go to Staten Island. Beastboy, you're with her (pointing at Trisha), take care of Brooklyn. New guy, it looks like you and I have Manhattan Manhattan." Robin said this as he seemed to dial something into his communicator. "Starfire! I need you and Static to head over to Queens. Anyone one who finishes, feel free to help out a struggling team." Robin commanded as he paired up official members of the Titans with the strangers he had just met today. It wasn't the most rational of plans, but he needed to just trust these people right now. He then hit a button on his utility belt, making some sort of jet ski emerge from the depths of the water. "TITANS GO!" The brave heart leader said as he ran to his vehicle and jumped on.

Splinter

The teen female's heart ached as the rapid warm water made contact with her skin. She could barely even wash herself as she moped in the shower. She could only think about her brother's death. Why did he try so hard? Why did he do such stupid things? There were many times when Sasha believed Michael was a true mastermind, and just fooled her with his irrational thinking. Why would he break out of jail, just to get killed? Did he even think that far? Questions rattled through the girl's mind as the water from the shower disguised her tears. The new coverage seemed to flash through her mind. To see her brother just overload like that. It wasn't like it wasn't impossible, as he had told her about his supposed limits to his powers.

"You should have beaten her. You could have absorbed her... but your so stupid. Why... why couldn't you just rest?" Sasha asked in the shower as if her brother was there to hear her. She didn't know how long she had been in the shower, but she soon heard a knock on te door of the bathroom. Sasha didn't answer at first, just ignoring the outside world.

"Splinter! The boss is on his way! And just to let you know chica, I think Replica went out to get some payback on that puta that killed Compound. I heard the streets are on fire." The gang member on the other end of the door informed. "Splinter?" He called out for her again, before he seemed to go away. Right now, she wanted to join Replica, but she knew that she didn't have the strength for that. She needed to lay back on her ability for at least two days before she was alright to use them again. Besides, someone needed to chat up Wilson, Michael's father and the true leader of Virus. His guidance was necessary now, especially without Michael.

Robin nodded to Dawnsong after watching the small teams assemble and depart.

“It’s good to have a helping hand. By the way, I’m Red Robin. You can just call me Robin though. You got a name?” Robin asked. Once Dawnsong answered, Robin would be setting off toward the island of Manhattan, the mst populated of the five boroughs.

Splinter

Once Sasha was out the shower and dressed, she made her way into the common area of the gang’s HQ.

“Splinter…” A deep voice announced as she entered. Sasha couldn’t help but look straight at Tyrone Wilson; the man that uttered her codename.

“What happened?!” The two said at nearly the same time. The rest of the gangsters in the room just sat or stood in silence as their two superiors spoke to each other.
“Mike… Compound… I don’t know what happened. He’s…” Sasha struggled to say anything about her brother.

“He’s dead then… We have to get past it though. He was a good kid; my son. He was too cocky though. I knew it would get to him sooner or later… and that’s why I’m able to keep my composure. The fool died a fool’s death. I was already mad at the fact that you almost completely destroyed Rikers Island Prison. Now I have gang members causing terror on the streets? How are we supposed to take the city if everyone is afraid of us?! NYPD might not be eating out of our palm anymore. Especially with the loss Compound! Whatever happens out there, Replica and her crew gotta face their own problems. It’s their job to make it back here on their own. You hear?” Tyrone said, not even being interrupted by the buzz of a nat. Sasha didn’t agree with the man, but he was strings behind Virus, he was the top dog, the keystone. Without him, the gang would most likely fall apart. This was something Michael had told her many times when she wanted to speak against Tyrone’s plans.

“Yes.” Sasha said as her eyes watered. She couldn’t believe Tyrone was as cold as he was. Not even a trace of sadness seemed to seep through his face.

Red Robin

Upon arriving, Robin hopped off of his motorcycle and threw his bird shaped projectiles toward Red X before charging forth for some close quarters combat. He knew Red X could do most of what he could do from previous encounters, so he couldn’t give him any breaks. The one thing in the back of Robin’s mind though, was the other distress call about the gang members tearing up the streets several blocks away from his location. Things were getting worse, and he couldn’t believe he felt like he actually needed a larger team than he already had.

“What’s your deal Red X?!” Robin shouted in between fighting against his foe. I'm going to have to finish this quickly.

Red Robin

Robin kept up with Red X’s movements, as always. The one thing he never enjoyed about combating this nemesis was the fact that it was like fighting himself. When Red X tried to attack him using poisonous darts, Robin was quick to dodge them by hopping back, but that left him off the ground as Red X followed with a kick. He grunted before using his hands to thrust the Red X’s heel up in order to maneuver him into a sloppy back flip. This move however, caused Robin to land on his back. He didn’t let the landing stop him from continuing his assault as he sat up and reached for the dart that had missed him earlier. He then moved in for the kill, ready to thrust the dart into Red X. Robin was finished with talking and asking questions, he’d stop doing that a long time ago.

Splinter

Tyrone Wilson’s eyes focused on Alice as she entered the base. He didn’t look pleased to see her at all. A tinge of disgust could almost be seen on his cold shrewd face as he and Alice locked eyes.

“I see you make orders like you run shit. You runnin’ shit? Huh?! Why the fuck did I get a call from one of my connections saying that he can’t make deals with us anymore? You went out with some of my best men and fucked up MY streets! For what?! My son?! You think that kid deserves to be avenged? Mourned, I get it. Avenged though? He got himself killed because he was foolish… It probably would have happened sooner or later with him doing whatever you told him to while you opened up those legs of yours.” Tyrone said before spitting on the ground. “Consider yourself at the bottom of the totem pole now, because you’re not calling any shots.” Tyrone said before looking at Sasha and pointing to her. “She doesn’t call any god damned shots, you hear me?!”

“Yeah…” Sasha said with an intimidated look on her face. She really didn’t know if she’d be able to get over what happened today. Everyone else in the headquarters just watched in silence. One guy managed to snicker at Replica’s predicament.

“I’m out! I gotta fix the shit you did now.” Tyrone said before walking out the door with a handful of gang members following behind him.

Red Robin

Robin was wary of whether his strike would do his nemesis in, but he figured it was better to prepare for the worst. He stepped back for a moment, but that didn’t help him at all against the smoke bombs that were thrown to the ground. The black smog was near impossible to see through, making Robin rather cautious of a sneak attack. Taking the time to listen to his surrounding, all he managed to hear was the fight between Shyft and Dawnsong. The thought made him think of how his ally was doing, but only for a second as he knew his main focus would need to be on Red X’s next move… That’s if there was a next move. Robin coughed a bit from the smog, but then used his cloak to cover his mouth and nose so he could breathe clearer.

“Show yourself, Red X! Don’t be a cowa-” Robin cut himself off as he heard someone croak the words, ”Help me,” knowing that it couldn’t be anyone but his enemy. Stepping forward toward where he heard the voice, he drew his birdarang sword with his free hand. He needed to be cautious, as this could be a set up of some kind. The smog was beginning to lighten up, but before it did Robin had found Red X looking helpless on the ground. “Isn’t this a sight to see?” Robin’s voice was muffled by his cape as he said this. Robin stared down at his enemy before shaking his head and stabbing his sword down toward the criminal. The sword had stabbed into Red X’s cape though, pinning him to the ground. “It’s the poison isn’t it? So this is what I would have looked like if you got me with that dart? I should leave you like this for that much. You’d deserve it in a way.” Robin paused before pulling his sword from Red X’s cape and walking away from the villain and into the smog. “Sounds like a plan.” Robin said coldly as he vanished into the smog, heading for Dawnsong. Things were looking grim for Red X…

Robin didn’t like showing his sympathy on his enemies, but he wouldn’t stoop to their level. He wasn’t bothered with killing his enemy, but it wasn’t something that was necessary. Exiting the smog, he could see Dawnsong, Raven, and Dovahkin fighting Shyft. Robin looked down at his communicator, checking the status of the city streets, only to find that the gang violence had subsided in all the boroughs. The young hero was in relief, but only before he witnessed bullets rain down on the group from up above. “Hmm…” Robin let out before darting into a nearby alley unnoticed before using a grapple to get up to the top of the building. While scaling the wall, he envied the flyers of his team as it might have been faster. When Robin reached the rooftop, he jumped up and threw two birdarangs, hitting two armed men

“Oh shit!” One of the unharmed men shouted as the several others’ attentions centered on Robin. The titan landed before sprinting toward them with smoke pellets and some kind of disk in his hands. Robin wasted no time throwing the freeze disc and pellets to the ground in front of him and using the ice he had made on the rooftop to slide beneath a hail of bullets coming his way. Not only had he avoided getting shot, but he had also gotten close enough to the criminals to use his bo staff to incapacitate them quickly. He hoped his effort would help his teammates with their battle against Shyft, as he had something or rather someone to address. Robin jumped from the rooftop and used his cape to glide and land in front of none other than Red X.

“If you thought I was like one of you scum, you were wrong.” Robin said as he pulled out a small syringe and inserted the needle into the same spot he had pricked Red X with the poison dart. “If it’s the poison I think your using, my version of the antidote should keep you from dying… I want answers though, and you’re going to give me all of them.”

Dawnsong

Dawnsong gratefully accepted Dovahkiin's help and regained his feet. The Thunderer had come out of nowhere, accompanied by the dark sorceress, and had probably saved Dawnsong's life by hurling Shyft away. Dawnsong's back was still throbbing with pain and blood was seeping from his wounds, but he didn't want to show his weakness in front of these two mighty warriors.

"It'll take more than a few scratches to finish me," he said to Dovahkiin, managing a weak smile. He didn't stay smiling for long, though. More bullets began raining down on them, but Raven deflected them with a shield of shadows before going after Shyft. Robin appeared out of nowhere and incapacitated most of the gunmen before disappearing again.

Shyft charged Raven, Dovahkiin and Dawnsong, expanding his body into a huge coiled shape in order to entrap them, but Dohavkiin swiftly stopped him with a barrage of thunderbolts, making him scream as he was rooted in place.

Now's my chance, thought Dawnsong. Thrusting his hands before him, he gathered all the energy he could muster. Golden fire exploded from his outstretched hands and arced towards Shyft, slamming into him, wrapping around him, wreathing him in a column of brilliant flames that rose high into the sky. Shyft's voice took on an even more agonising tone. The combination of lightning and flame was too much for his body. His skin blackened, burned and peeled away. His blood and bodily fluids boiled to a mist as his flesh was scorched to cinders. In a few moments there was nothing left of him but a lump of charred, misshapen flesh hissing on the street.

Breathing heavily, Dawnsong lowered his hands, his eyes glued to the remains of Shyft, his anger subsiding. The sight of the dead man sickened him. He had never willingly killed before.

I did that, he thought, his face darkening with emotion.

Red X

Slowly, he regained consciousness, his surroundings swimming back into focus. His body was still paralysed and wracked with pain, but it would wear off eventually.

Someone was standing close to him. Someone wearing a very familiar red, green and yellow uniform.

Shit, thought Red X. He saved me. And now I'm in his power.

"Answers?" Red X wheezed. Normally his mind would be racing, looking for an escape route, but his brain felt sluggish and stupid from the poison. "You can ask me all the questions you want. Doesn't mean I'll have the answers you're looking for, though."

Robin scowled at Red X before just shaking his head. He paced around a bit angered that he even let the guy live. He then stopped in his tracks and looked back at the criminal.

“Alright… What were you doing here? What was your plan?” Robin asked. "I'll start off with those. Take too long and I might not be in time to administer the second half of my antidote.... And yes, I just said 'second half.'"

Red Robin

Robin looked down at Red X as he avoided his questions. It was frustrating him, but what the criminal was saying was cutting deep into him. The fact that it did made him question himself. He was Red Robin, leader of the Teen Titans, heir to Bruce’s empire, and the city’s well known vigilante. More than anything though, he was Tim Drake, and that’s what it came down to. Robin’s fists became tighter and tighter before he yelled out.

“Shut up!” With that, Robin thought his words had silenced the villain before watching Red X’s body tremble. What was going on? Was it the poison? These questions rattled in his mind as he got the second injection out and knelt down. Unfortunately, it was too late… “Red X!” Robin shouted as he checked the pulse of his nemesis. “Shit!” Robin said before punching the ground beside the dead criminal. Guilt soon flooded his mind, blinding his common sense.
