........Age- 17
........Height- 5"4
........Weight- 114 lbs
........Hair color/style- Light Burgundy Brown- Short- Straight
........Clothing- Grey Jeans, White Tank-top, Big Black Sweater, Worn out combat boots
........Misc.- Slight body but can be swift, not that strong
She has the scar on her face and a few on her body. Along with that she has tattoos covering her skin that she hides with a black sweater and jeans. Her tattoos are either words or roses. There is a tattoo of bird wings on her back though, very large ones too. A simple rose is on her hip. She has short auburn hair and light blue eyes that almost seem white at times. ((Tattoos are forbidden by the sisterhood in her camp. She got them from a black market dealer, in secret, a year back.))

Personality

She is very optimistic and hopeful, but sometimes trusts too easily and ends up getting hurt. She lacks confidence and is more of an observer. She keeps her thoughts to herself and seems to be always deep in her own little mind. Always thinking, but about what? That is hard to tell. She can be a fighter when needed, but she isn't that strong. She's very shy. People see her as a drifter, and she seems to be extremely free spirited. She's a bit resigned around strangers, and thoughtful all the time. Reckless yet timid. She has a humor though and loves a good laugh. She is a listener. She is also very shy and closed off sometimes. People have found trouble trying to get passed her walls to see inside her. She is a bit of a mysterious one and hard to read. She's scared of the dark, but loves lightning and thunder. Her flaws are obvious. She isn't very sociable and sometimes her attitude can get the best of her.

Equipment

She has a locket around her neck and a small knife her father had given her before he died.

History

She lives in one of the gated camps in the middle of a large forest. Her camp is run by a group of priestesses called the Sisterhood. She has a home with her mother in a one roomed cabin, her dad passed away from a sickness when she was a baby. Her eighteenth birthday is coming up and if she doesn't get married she will be forced to join the priestesses and be devoted to god. She doesn't feel like she's ready to start a family, but it wouldn't matter since no ones has asked for her hand anyways. Even with her fear of a marriage she is even more scared of having to become a priestess. She keeps these thoughts to herself. Even with that the gates are starting to grow old. The camp is on edge and even more strict now with the growing fear of a breach. Sometimes she has thoughts of leaving camp and risking the old pathways connecting her camp to another... but is she brave enough?

So begins...

The sun was starting to fall behind the trees. For a second Sky imagined them on fire since they were already red and orange from fall. The sisterhood had always talked about the day the undead came. They told us of the noises and how everything was on fire. Sky tried to bring up an image of the forest being on fire but her mind went blank. The only fires she'd ever seen was the ones in the fire places and once when someone's house burnt down. The town was busy with the arrangement's of a new wedding. The connecting of two people which involved words said before a priestess and a string tying to couples' wrists together. It made her stomach turn. Her birthday was next month. Sky ran her fingers along the chain link fence. She wasn't supposed to be this close to the fence, but she couldn't stop thinking about leaving. She heard the moans of the undead in the woods and then saw one step out from the bushes. The skin around its mouth was torn and hanging down its chin. The teeth of the undead monster was black with dried blood. She could almost smell its dying flesh from where she stood by the fence. It let out a growl as it lumbered towards her.
"Sky!" a voice hissed from behind her. One of the older priestesses was scuttling towards her, robe gripped in hand. Sky could see her knobby ankles. She didn't say a word as the older woman gripped her arm and ripped her away from the fence as the undead man threw his body against it. The fence shuddered with his weight but didn't give out. Sky stumbled all the way back to town square. The priestess shoved her in an awaiting crowd that stood around the couple getting married. She hissed in her ear: "If I see you close to those gates one more time you will be punished. Sky winced a bit but kept silent. The woman huffed her way back to the church and Sky rubbed her arm as the ceremony began. She could still hear the faint moans, almost as loud as the crickets that chirped in the woods.

Elliot walked mechanically behind his father and step mother as they made their way to the wedding ceremony of the new couple. Elliot sighed looking out towards the gate, picturing himself on the outside, free. Free a word he thought about many times.
Elliot's eyes traveled along the gate, stopping as he saw a female figure standing oddly close to the gate. She ran a hand through her hair, Elliot starred hard at her as if he was trying to read her mind. He could tell by her posture, a way he stood many times before when he was thinking, that she was probably thinking the same thoughts as himfreedom.
"Keep up boy." The cold and harsh voice of his father broke him from his thoughts. He shuffled to catch up to his parents.

Elliot ran a hand through his red tangled hair only ending him up with his hand stuck in the jungle he called his hair. Elliot let out a bored sigh, he hated weddings. Not only because they were boring, but also because they reminded him of his mother, that he had killed. He shook the thought out of his head and looked over his shoulder a blank expression on his face. He squinted seeing the same girl he had seen at the gate he leaned slightly over his dads shoulder to get a better look at her."Pay attention boy." His father hissed at him elbowing him in the stomach. Elliot clutched his stomach use to the pain of his fathers hands. He casted his father a hateful glare that his father didnt see, then turned his attention back to the wedding.

When the ceremony ended and the couple retreated to their new cabin together Sky let herself relax. Everyone began to depart back to their homes. Her mother was already home. She didn't come to the ceremony. Not that she ever did anyways. Sky was making her way back to the cabin when she bumped into someone.
"Excuse me." she said and looked up. It was the boy with the wild hair she'd seen watching her at the gate and at the ceremony. She looked away and ducked her head.
"Excuse me." she repeated and stepped around him. His eyes seemed so familiar and she couldn't tell why. She'd seen him a lot around the camp. Actually she's seen a lot of people. It was easy to know everyone in a camp this small. Especially since she's grown up with these people. She hadn't talked to him much, actually she hadn't really talked to anyone. Sky sensed he didn't talk to anyone either.

By the time she reached the cabin the sun was gone and the air was a little chilly. Once inside her cabin she sat in front of the small, soot covered, fire place. Her mother was sitting on the one of the two wooden chairs. Her eyes were fixed on the fire and Sky new she was deep in thought. Looking down at her hands she fiddled with her locket. Then it hit her where she'd seen Elliot's, as she recalled, eyes before. They were of her own. They had the same distant look. As if our thoughts weren't here but of beyond the gates, Maybe even beyond the forest.

A scream rang out nearby that jostled Sky out of her thoughts. A gunshot followed that sent Sky's mother scurrying towards the door. She looked out and Sky came to stand behind her, peeking around her where people were running towards the noise. Sky's heart began to thump as she realized the sound of the undeads' moans were closer and louder. "The walls have been breached!" a man screamed and more gunshots fired.

"Stay inside Sky." her mother hissed at her and then grabbed a gun and left into the darkness. Sky stood in the doorway looking back and forth into the darkness. She knew the town was ready for this, but she didn't know it would be this soon. Was it her fault? Was it because she'd gone so close to the gate? She shook her head and tried to erase the thought. She watched as men with wood began to run to the gates. The sisterhood planned on trying to contain a breach. They had an idea of filling the gap where the undead were getting in with wood. Sky didn't know how they would do that without getting touched by the dead.

She fished around in her ratty jeans for the knife her dad had given her and found it. She gripped the engraved handle and pulled it out. Wings were engraved in the wooden handle and she held it close to her heart. Ignoring her mothers words she set out into the night. She felt useless hiding out in the cabin and wanted to help. Her heart thudded louder with fear as she grew closer to the commotion.

Elliot got up silently and followed behind his parents he looked around, where had that girl gone? Elliot didnt understand why he was suddenly showing a big interest in this girl, he had seen this girl before walking around the camp, but he didnt know her name.
Elliot was more the kind of guy who kept to himself, only speaking when he saw needed otherwise it was a waist of breath.
Elliot stumbled backwards slightly as someone bumped into him, he glared at the stranger before realizing it was the girl from before.
He let his eyes soften and watched her intently before she excused herself and disappeared. He shrugged and ran to catch up with his parents.

Elliot sat silently at the kitchen table playing with his fingers. His step mother smiled kindly at him, but had the same distant look in her eye she always did...since the incident.
"Are you hungry Elliot?" His step mother Rosely asked turning back around to their small stove.
"Ye--." He was cut off by the sound of gun shots and then his father bursting into the room.

"Rosely, the wall has fallen go hide." His father said, ignoring Elliot and the picking up a gun in the corner of the kitchen and running out the house.
Rosely looked around widely, then straight at Elliot.
Elliot jumped up "Dont worry everything will be fine, hide. I'll go help."
With that Elliot scurried out the house, he looked around frantically hearing the moans. He grabbed an axe that was lying up against the house.

Elliot began to run not knowing what to do or where to go. As he ran he ran into something fear filled his stomach what if he ran into one of those things. He grabbed his axe bringing it over his shoulder and looking down at the thing that had fallen to the groun when they collided.

Elliot sighed with relief starring down at the girl from the gate, the me who bumped into him before. He reached his hand out towards her "sorry." He mumbled then looked around.

Sky ran towards the noises, hands shaking. One moment she was standing the next she was sprawled out on the ground. She winced at a sharp pain in her ankle but shook her head. Looking up at the person who ran into her she could see it was Elliot. Today it seemed she was running into him a lot. She took his hand, but immediately pulled away when she found her footing. The screams were getting louder and she heard men shouting. Her eyes grew wide and she gripped her small knife. One of the undead stumbled out of the shadows and lunged towards them. She ducked and screamed. Pushing it away. It only stumbled a little but then came after them again. She wanted to use her knife but she was afraid the undead would catch her hand and eat into her flesh. She grabbed at Elliot and tugged him after her. Her mind was all over the place as undead swarmed the camp in a matter of minutes.

Elliot froze as one of the undead creatures stumbled towards him and the girl.
He had come out here to help, defend his home but all he could think about now was living. Never had he been so sacred in his life.
The girl grabbed onto him pulling him away from the creature probably saving his life. He followed quietly behind her as the undead invaded the camp taking over.
Elliot pulled the girl to a stop in front of him as he saw two of the undead creatures eating something, as he squinted his eyes he could make make out a man with his stomach ripped open.
Elliot held his mouth closed trying not to vomit, luckily the things hadn't noticed them yet to involved in eating.
Elliot quickly placed a hand over the girls mouth so she wouldn't scream. He didnt know if it was the right thing to do, but he didnt know this girl very well, if she was easily frightened or not.
As Elliot heard more screams and deadly moans from the creatures he pulled the girl closer to him not really thinking, he didnt know why, but he suddenly felt the urge to protect her.
As one of the undead creatures limped towards them Elliot quickly searched for an escape, finding an easy way into the woods without being attacked. He pulled the girl after him as they escaped into the woods.

She stumbled to a halt when Elliot tugged on her arm. She saw the man and was about to shriek when he covered her mouth. His hand smelt of earth and soot. She looked up at him and then back at the creatures, thankful he'd covered her mouth. If he hadn't done so she might have killed them both. She didn't know where her mom was and hoped she didn't have the same fate as that man. Tears formed in her eyes, not just from fear and fear for her mothers safety, but also from the smoke caused by someone setting a bunch of dead walkers on fire. The smell was horrid. The smell of rotting and burnt flesh filled her nose and she coughed a little when Elliot released her mouth. She was about to run and search for her mom when Elliot pulled her to him.
She blinked, but didn't move away. Even with fear and dread coursing through her veins a small blush still seemed to find itself burning her cheeks. A figure moved out of the corner of her eye and she saw the dead woman limping towards them. Once again they were racing on as Elliot tugged her towards the woods. Her eyes grew wide as he pulled her past the feces and into the foliage.
"We can't leave the gates!" she whimpered looking back at the town. "They'll come and eat us." Her stomach did a little flip as they ran farther into the woods. She looked back at Elliot as she stumbled over logs. His wild hair collecting leaves and twigs as they ducked under trees. With one last glance behind her she watched the church catch fire. A lump rose in her throat at the thought that she might never see her home again or her mother.

Elliot stopped pulling the girl to a stop next to him. He let the fear and guilt he had been holdimg back flow into his blood.
He couldn't shake the feeling that he had just insured his step mothers death.
He looked over to the girl at his right, but quickly looked away un able to meet her eye's. not Bly had he run away like a coward he had also dragged this girl along with him.
He quickly let go of the girl trying to make as much possible space as he could between them.
He stopped hearing a quiet female sounding voice. "Ready or not,her i come."
Elliot poked his head out of the group of bushes he was in. He watched as a girl beat the living, or should I say unliving crap out of the undead creature.

He quickly stepped back seeing the girl walk over to him as she finished defeating the creature. Elliot's eye's searched widely around he had to hide them. He quickly pushed the girl up into a nearby tree and then climbed up himself.

When the stopped she took this chance to gasp for air. Adrenalin was coursing through her veins and her whole body was trembling. The night sky was red behind them from the burning camp and she could still hear faint screams from the people. She put her hands in her face and shivered. She'd always dreamed of going out beyond the fences but she never had the courage to do so, and now everyone was probably dead back in the village. She sniffed and wiped her nose looking up at Elliot. He looked almost as scared as her right now. She could see pain and she knew he was leaving someone behind too. She heard a sound and then Elliot peaked out from the bush. She tugged on his shirt and whispered softly.
"What is it?" and when he turned and quickly shoved her towards the tree she whispered, "is it the dead?!" She scrabbled up the tree, cutting her hands on the rough bark, and Elliot followed. She scuntched herself as far back as she could on the branch and held on tight. The tree was quite tall but she didn't know if the undead could climb or not. Looking through the brown leaves she saw another person. She made out a woman's figure and bit her lip. She gripped Elliot's shirt. What if she was one of the stronger dead? Or what if she was alive?

Elliot's eye's widened as he watched the girl walk over to the tree they were in.
Elliot's hand searched widely for the axe he had been carrying his fingers brushed it before it fell from the tree with a clatter.
Elliot winced and looked over at the girl next to him. Great again I've messed up, Elliot thought. He slowly nodded to the girl and put a hand up in a stop like manner. If the girl below them was a threat, at least he could save one person for once.
Elliot jumped down from the tree and put his hands up and turned around to indicate he had no other weapons. He didnt want to startle the girl or make her think he was a threat. Elliots eye's met with the girl's. If this did go wrong at least the other girl would be safe.

She winced as his ax fell and she knew the girl had either heard it or seen it. Her eyes grew even wider and she clenched her fists, digging her nails into her palm. Elliot glanced over at her and she was trying to ask him with her eyes what they were going to do. He seemed conflicted and before she could stop him he jumped from the tree. She tried reaching for him, but had to grip back onto the base of the tree as to not fall out. She watched the scene lay out in front of her from the teeth. Her breathing came out in shallow breaths.

Q's hands clenched around her make shift bat that she'd traded from someone from the dark city ((OOC: :D just finished reading the third book and it was awesome!!)). She eyed this boy and saw the fear in his eyes. She relaxed her grip on the bat, but didn't let go. Looking at his ax a few feet away she pointed to it.
"Don't touch that or I'll kill you." she said with a stern voice. The wound on her head stung but not as much as the one on her arm. She didn't want to think about that wound and shook her head a bit.
"Anyone else with you?" she asked and looked up at the tree, but the darkness of the night and the leaves hid anyone if there was someone. She looked over the trees and saw the light of flames, and then looked back at the boy.
"What's that?"

((OOC: @BraceBlaze: How's that?

Elliot looked at the girl blankly and gave a slight nod as she threaten to kill him. Elliot quickly looked up towards the tree, no way was he gonna give the girl up, he would have to stall her as long as possible. Maybe she could get away.
"No one's with me." Elliot mumbled unable to keep his eyes from quickly darting to the axe.
"What's that?" The girl in front of him asked, looking over her shoulder at the ever growing flames of their village.
Elliot clenched his jaw as not to hurl on the spot thinking of his now probably sweet and caring dead Step-mother.
"It's nothing! Just a little house fire.." Elliot shouted his first words then slowly becoming quiet and trailing his words off at the end of his sentence. He knew he sounded supsious, but he wasent ready to talk about the 'incident' yet. He just couldn't forgive himself for not being able to protect someone again.
"It's nothing..,what are you doing out here anyway? Fighting those creatures like there harmless." Elliot looked at her eyeing her, trying to decide if she was a threat.

Q rested her bat on the tip of her shoe and eyed the boy. His answer had holes in it and she didn't miss the flicker of his eyes towards his weapons. Even with her suspicion she didn't question him further about the fire.
"I've been out here for a while." she answered with a flick of her hand, she wouldn't answer anything more about where she'd been.
"You're coming with me." she finally decided. She wasn't a very caring person, but that didn't mean she would just leave this person out here, who seemed more scared of the dark than what lie ahead. That's when her mind finally picked up all the pieces. She'd seen fires like these. Where gated villages would become overrun and people would try burning the entrance of the hole so they could save the community, but it always ended badly. All the houses were made of dry wood and everyone ended up dead.
She looked back at the boy and could see his eyes dart around. This was his first time out in the forest. She felt slightly sorry for him. He wasn't ready to face this world yet. He would die immediately.

Q's eyes darted up at the sound of a small voice as a body scrabbled down the tree and landed with a thud.
"Don't kill him!" the voice said. The girl crawled out from under the bushes and stood up, brushing her bloodied hands on her shirt. She looked around the same age as the boy and she also had the same fear in her eyes.
Q grimaced. She now had to look after two people. She wasn't one to baby sit but she wasn't a killer. Q sighed annoyed and rubbed her temples.
"Grab your weapon," she said to the boy, "I'm not going to kill him, but you two will die out here in less than two hours."

Sky bent down and picked up Elliot's ax. She gripped the weapon before handing it to him. Right at this moment she'd wished she had more than just the small knife that she held in her other hand.
She looked at Q's retreating body as she walked deeper into the woods and away from the burning sky. Then Sky looked back at Elliot. He looked conflicted with something and SKy smiled a bit to help reassure him that things would be ok. However even Sky wasn't sure of that herself. She wouldn't let herself think about all the people in her village as she grabbed his hand and tugged him along after the girl.
Moans swam through the trees.

Sky followed behind the woman with Elliot to her side.
"So why are you helping us?" Elliot asked. "And where are we going?"
He pulled her closer to him and she realized he didn't trust this woman yet even though she was helping them. Sky thought about it and also realized too that maybe she should trust this women so soon either.
The women didn't answer first and then turned around to face them.
"My name's Q, and that's all you need to know right now." she said with a stern look. She acted much older for her age. Q looked only maybe a few years older than Sky and Elliot.
Q glared around in the woods and put her finger to her lips. She crept towards a line of trees and Sky could hear the faint sounds of running water.
Fear began to creep up Sky's spine and she gripped her knife close to her. Looking over Q's shoulder she sighed as she realized it was just another man. His head shot up and he pulled out his bow and pointed it towards where they stood.

OOC: It's so hard playing as two character in one reply so I'll do two XD

Q waved her hand at Elliot.
"Shh I'm thinking." she muttered and bit her lip. The man seemed to be very fit, something that was often not seemed in these woods. He could be a recruiter. At that her stomach flipped, but she shook her head. If he was a recruiter then he would be in uniform and he wasn't. The bow in his hand suggested maybe a trade? Or he built it. Her mind twisted and turned as she tried figuring out what to do. If he wanted to kill them he would have. He had eyed her, must having realized she was the most experienced, but hadn't shot at her. With the way he held that bow it also meant he was very skilled and she would bet the clothes on her back that he could have killed her with one shot.
She sighed annoyed as she realized what she had to do.
"We're going to have to trust him." she said to the others. She thought that maybe if she got him to join their little group that maybe if he did she could ditch him and leave the young woman and man with him. They would be out of her hands then, and he looked like someone who wouldn't just ditch them.
She felt a little guilty at these thoughts, but she had to do what she had to do to survive.

Sky blinked at Q confused as she finally decided that they needed to trust him.
"But..." she trailed off. The man had looked so big and buff. He also looked like he could kill them all if he wanted, but then Sky realized Q could too if she wanted. Maybe Sky was just not used to people she hadn't known all her life. This was the first time she met someone she'd hadn't known since she was born. The only reason why she'd trusted so easily was because she was still in shock over having lost her whole village including her mother. What if there were survivors? She shook her head to erase those thoughts. She had to believe they were all dead, or she would go back and try to find them. She didn't know if she was brave enough to do that just yet. She almost laughed at how scared she was about the woods. She'd grown up wishing she could just run away and be free in them. She looked down at her hands and clenched them. She felt so week, and so useless. Q was treating them like children! I'm almost eighteen! I can take care of myself! Part of her screamed that in anger inside, but she knew it was a lie. She couldn't take care of herself. She didn't know how. Her village banned any type of survivalist training. All she knew how to do was be a good farmer and mother. That was all. She looked over at Elliot and he looked over at her. She wondered if he was thinking the same thing...
