Lilly's Story

Shade wakes up to find himself in a dark corner on the school roof. He looks up and frowns as his stomach growls.
"Sunset huh? I guess its going to be 7 months straight without feeding by the end of today……. oh I'm so going to die soon."
He looks around to see nobody around. Shade soon walks to the edge of the building looking down relieved to see he isn't the only person left at school.

He stands there quietly after that and walks back to the school not bothering to put his hood on. The sun light burns him as steam rises off him. Shade walks to the school courtyard and looks at all the classes in the windows to see students glaring evilly at him.
Hey isn't that him, why is he here again, I thought we told him he should die again but for good this time.

He looks confused and stands there now in front of the school as the steam turns to smoke. The students whisper things from inside while watching "He really should kill himself… He is really the dark prince huh? After what he did to his parents…" "No way, he actually did that?" "Yeah supposedly he killed his father, the one and only Dracula……" "But his last name is Uzuzmashii…" "That is just his made up last name.."

Shade stands up now wiping the blood off him.
"ugh…… Im probably going to die if i don't feed soon….."

Shade runs through the building accidentally running into the football jocks. They look down at him now furiously and pick him up by his neck. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the murderous, suicidal, and WEAK dark prince…. Shade Dracula!!!" The lead bully's voice echoes through out the school as the word "Dracula" echoes along with it. People stop and look at the fight that is ensuing. "You know, I've always hated you Shade. Despite who you are, you never stand up for yourself or others… That is why I hate you. I hate weak people!!!" His grip tightens around my neck as people watch laughing at Shade. The next few things that follow will terrify every single person watching. Shade's stomach growls and the jocks look up. "Hungry you little weak piece of shit?!?!" Shade looks up and his eyes have changed color as he bares his fangs at them and says "STARVING!!!" Shade then grabs the bully's arm and twists it at such an angle that a loud snap and scream follows echoing through the hall. People look in horror and surprise that he had just stood up for himself showing his true strength. Shade leans down to the bully and looks him in the eye whispering "Do me a favor…………… Feed me!" He then grabs the bully by the neck slamming him against the lockers followed by the shaking of the building. Shade picks the bully up and yells out loud "Itadakimasau!!!" soon bringing his fangs into the bully's neck drinking as people scream and run away.

Shade looks around and suddenly looks at the bully who is still alive, but in his grip and throws him down the hall. Teachers are just now rounding the corner when the bully goes flying into them at full speed sending them along with him.

Vitali was still in panic. He was going to lose it. Not it as an expression, but it as his sanity and cool. The sight of blood....it was a trigger. Other than the full moon up high in the sky, a few memories and dark dreams of his last moments as a werewolf could cause him to lose his human form. Trying to keep himself sane, he fought back against the trigger that was pulling his mind apart. Muttering at first, then almost immediately screaming, Vitali's body shook violently as the trigger gained the upper side. "Not now....just not NOW". He grabbed his head as more pain and memories came to shake him. A few other flashbacks of corpses with huge gashes on their chests appeared, then another with humans looking down at him with fear, and finally something that pulled the trigger to it's final end. Vitali's eyes widened again at the realization of what he was seeing in his mind. The wolves that took him in. All dead. Their corpses littered on the ground. The clan that had kept him safe...taught him...cared for him...his true family. One of his eye started to tear up. "All of you....". All of a sudden, Vitali's eyes had turned bloodshot. As his form started to morph back into the living hell he was, he remembered insults and lies pointed at him. "Pathetic Freak" "Stop acting all cool" "Who'd want to take care of you" "You lied! Get out!" "What? Can't stand the sight of blood?". Trembling and shaking as the form finally started to enter it's final stage, he targeted in his mind all the ones who have regarded Vitali in hate and pity, and continued his sentence with "will DIE".

A few days later, the doctor came back to check up on Vitali. The amount of blood he had lost after he turned back was horrendous. Vitali was an AB blood type, but after what he had done to the school, many students refused to donate blood. The doctor created a formula that could possible save Vitali's life, but he required a mix of AB and O blood in order to complete it. By adding a bit of magic into it, the new mixture could eliminate the toxins and regenerate his destroyed organs and fill up all the blood he lost. He finally brought all the mystic beings that were hidden in the school to the infirmary, and asked them all if they could do it so he could hold up.

"Lilly........ I'm sorry........ I was wrong to have done this to you..... If it would make you feel better, then do what you want to me..... Kill me, hurt me, kiss me, hug me, slap me, yell at me. Do as you please because I've been a horrible person."

"Wait...... what?"
He shakes his head.
"That doesn't really matter to me..."

"It matters very much to me..... but in some way I see you more than a sister.... It kind of sickens me that I see you in such a way so you can hate me all you want..."

Shade shakes his head in confusion by what is going on and suddenly rushes up to the roof. He takes off his hood and the sun starts to burn him as he stands there allowing it to happen. "I'm so confused and if I continue to live, people I care for will keep getting hurt. I don't know what else I should do except for kill myself now. My life changed when I came here, and when I first found people I cared for, more and more people began to like me... I have ended up hurting them and if I must end my life so that all their suffering and fighting over me will cease, then so be it." He stands there as his skin worsens and smoke rises off him with the smell of burning flesh. Shade smiles weakly and lays down exposing all of his skin to the sun as he continues to burn like he is sun bathing in hell.

Turning back, Vitali looked at Seren. She looked pale, and she looked like she needed some company. Her words were desperate, and this time, Vitali could finally see the truth in her eyes. Sighing, he quietly said to himself, "I already recognized who you were talking about, Seren". He gave up, and dropped himself back onto the stool. "Just don't die on me, okay? I hate it when people do". He looked back up, and noticed Lilly, stopping Shade for an unknown reason. Smiling that someone had finally taken action he thought, "It looks like the world finally has an upside to it". Within him, the grey wolf smiled and agreed, "True. I just don't look at it that way because of my past". Vitali sighed. He already knew the past and history of the grey wolf, since it was explained to him during his long dream.

He watched as Seren slowly formed a smile on her face. Vitali, lightly smiled back at her in reassurance. He looked back at where Shade and Lilly were, and this time, he didn't see them. He wondered where they went, also wondering at the same time if they were doing fine. Looking back at Seren, he asked, "....why would you choose me?". With another questioning look, he asked once again, "Why me?". Looking at her again, he said, "I'm a lone wolf, you do realize that, no? I'd prefer to be on my own, and I'm pretty sure everyone knows that". Adding onto his comments, Vitali said, "Plus, everyone knows what happened between you and Shade, except I think they know. Yet if this were true, why me?".

Shade suddenly appears next to Vitali. He looks to him and nods. "This is all my fault…… I've been so confused lately… Please before you say anything about me or do anything to me, I want you to promise me something………… Take care of Seren for me. I have hurt her and many others. I'm leaving today and I need to know you will take better care of her and the others than I could. All I bring is pain due to me being the Child of Dracula. So please….. Take care of her and everyone else."
Shade suddenly turns to serene and smiles weakly before jumping to the edge of the building and throwing himself off.
