In the high school of Terrabodisiana

"Wait...... what?"
He shakes his head.
"That doesn't really matter to me..."

Raising an eyebrow, Vitali looked at her for a while. It could be possible, her having a second side to herself. Then again, that wasn't what he was worried about. "Not a problem. It couldn't be helped", Vitali replied. Motioning her in, he raised his hand towards a pillow. "Come in, take a seat. It's disrespect to a lady who made their way to someone else's without even giving them a chance to relax". Having Seren seat herself in front of the small table, Vitali prepared tea and set two cups. Sitting down as the tea started to boil, Vitali commented, "Don't worry about the last time I grabbed you, I had just touched death and was about to grab on without me realizing. You almost killed me". Looking at Seren, she looked a lot calmer now. Glad she stopped shivering intensely, Vitali looked at Seren. "That vampire....(referring to Shade) you like him now?". Looking for an answer through her face, he studied carefully, yet it was so obvious. She really did like him, both sides either way. Saddened by saying this, Vitali gravely announced, "I can't be around you anymore".

Seren's eyes darkened and the girl stood up to face Vitali, an odd smile playing out on her face. "No, Vitali..." She made her advance towards him, grabbing his arm and exposing her fangs.

Lilly looked hurt at what shade said. "Family never mattered to you!"

Realizing what was about to happen, he quickly asked to the grey wolf, "Give me your speed!". The grey wolf, happy to reply, responded with "Acknowledged". In a quick motion, Vitali pulled his arm away, and dodged Seren in ease. "When it comes to speed, you can't beat me. Werewolves are the fastest, and everyone knows that". He quickly started to grow sharp claws. They immediately hardened, and Vitali prepared his fangs too. His eyes started to turn clear, extremely clear in light grey. "I can see it all, I can tell it all, and I can dodge it all. You won't be able to land a single hit on me, even if you had that scythe out". Vitali prepared in a quick werewolf stance as he pulled off his coat. Snarling at her while baring his fangs, his claws started to sharpen every single time he rubbed them together. "A clean blade...enough to slice to shreds. You sure you want to face me now?". Seren still had that dark look on her. It looked like he kept underestimating her, and Vitali immediately regretted that. Now that he knows she's hostile, he didn't know what was going on. "You attacked me, almost killed me, then saved me, and now your trying to kill me again?".

"It matters very much to me..... but in some way I see you more than a sister.... It kind of sickens me that I see you in such a way so you can hate me all you want..."

"I don't want to face you any day." Her tail flicked back and forth angrily. "You see what they all see... the vampire, the neko...but not my wolf..." Turning away from Vitali Seren's tail hit him, hard.

Frowning at this, Vitali had already dodged the tail again (sorry for godmodding but this is a must xP). "What are you saying? Your now with the vampire but....", confused by all this, Vitali angrily exited to the hallway, smashing wall by wall. "Vitali! Don't let that thought run wild!" ushered a dark, deep voice. He just entered battle mode, and all of a sudden, THIS. Groaning and muttering at the same time, he looked back at Seren. He was sure he saw a glint of happiness towards Shade from Seren's eyes, but....what? He didn't notice anything else at all. Looking back at Seren and carefully studying her face, he still didn't see a hint of care towards him. It was too cloudy like before, too unclear. Unsure of what was going on, Vitali turned back his leg stats, his hand, and his claws. Turning back, he said, "I don't want someone else just like that. What I really want is someone that I can actually trust". He stopped. "Then again, I'm always called the lone wolf. I will always be alone, safe from danger, safe from hurting". Vitali started to leave the scene, the walls with broken wood in between them, a room all messed up, and a mad, possibly sad neko.

Lilly tilts her head. "what do you mean?"

"Shade probably loves someone else..." Defeated, Seren's head lowered and she padded off, dragging her blood covered tail on the ground.

Shade shakes his head in confusion by what is going on and suddenly rushes up to the roof. He takes off his hood and the sun starts to burn him as he stands there allowing it to happen. "I'm so confused and if I continue to live, people I care for will keep getting hurt. I don't know what else I should do except for kill myself now. My life changed when I came here, and when I first found people I cared for, more and more people began to like me... I have ended up hurting them and if I must end my life so that all their suffering and fighting over me will cease, then so be it." He stands there as his skin worsens and smoke rises off him with the smell of burning flesh. Shade smiles weakly and lays down exposing all of his skin to the sun as he continues to burn like he is sun bathing in hell.

Lilly saw shade and pushed him out of the sun. "Listen up shade....your my older brother and commiting suicide will not work for me or you"

Snip. Snip - "GAH!!" The blade pierced her skin, went through, cut, severed. Seren's sense of being was blurred by the ghastly amount of blood spilling from her red stained wings, her arms, her neck and trembling the young girl dug the blade in deeper.

Vitali had noticed the scene. Seren...what was she doing to herself? This whole time, Vitali had been on the roof, watching the sun set and still wondering what he should do, along with chatting with the grey wolf. When he noticed Seren, he quickly tched to himself. But when he saw the blade, and noticed the blood, he almost gawked at the sight.

Quickly, Vitali jumped down to the scene. "W-what are you doing to yourself?", he said angrily. He smacked the blade away, and noticed all the blood. "God...". Last time, Vitali went crazy when he saw blood. He strangely acted really calm at the sight of blood...but why? Vitali quickly grabbed her bleeding injury, and carefully observed at the gushing blood. "Not good...at this rate, she could possibly die". Identifying it quickly with his smell, he carefully identified the blood type, and how much he'd probably need. "She needs at least 2000-2500 ml of blood...and it's...O....cross AB..?". Suddenly, Vitali remembered the huge bag of blood that Seren had spilled on him, waking him up from his long slumber. Realizing what she actually did, he shouted, "You idiot! You cut yourself like that for me?".

Covering the injury and trying to block the blood, he carried Seren all the way down to the infirmary. The blood was falling out quickly, but what Vitali still didn't know was, why was Seren doing this? He quickly leaned her down onto one of the infirmary beds, grabbed some bandages, and wrapped them around the bleeding spot. Vitali looked out the window, only to notice what Shade was doing. Shade was half-burnt. He revealed himself to the sun, purposely. Gritting his teeth, Vitali noted, "Why is everyone trying so desperately to kill themselves?". He quickly bandaged around the bandage surrounding the injury once again.

He sat on the stool, and sighed. "Why...are you doing this? What is your reason being?". He looked at Seren. His eyes started to tear up. Never has he cared about anyone else but himself...and the only reason why he stopped Grey Wolf's rampage was because he was going to ruin everything, but now...Angry, he turned, and headed for the infirmary door. He knew the reason behind this, at least he thought he did.

"I did it because...I thought you couldn't recognize my wolf, V-Vi-tali..." Seren stammered and attempted to grab his jacket sleeve. "Please - Vitali, d-don't go..."

Turning back, Vitali looked at Seren. She looked pale, and she looked like she needed some company. Her words were desperate, and this time, Vitali could finally see the truth in her eyes. Sighing, he quietly said to himself, "I already recognized who you were talking about, Seren". He gave up, and dropped himself back onto the stool. "Just don't die on me, okay? I hate it when people do". He looked back up, and noticed Lilly, stopping Shade for an unknown reason. Smiling that someone had finally taken action he thought, "It looks like the world finally has an upside to it". Within him, the grey wolf smiled and agreed, "True. I just don't look at it that way because of my past". Vitali sighed. He already knew the past and history of the grey wolf, since it was explained to him during his long dream.

He watched as Seren slowly formed a smile on her face. Vitali, lightly smiled back at her in reassurance. He looked back at where Shade and Lilly were, and this time, he didn't see them. He wondered where they went, also wondering at the same time if they were doing fine. Looking back at Seren, he asked, "....why would you choose me?". With another questioning look, he asked once again, "Why me?". Looking at her again, he said, "I'm a lone wolf, you do realize that, no? I'd prefer to be on my own, and I'm pretty sure everyone knows that". Adding onto his comments, Vitali said, "Plus, everyone knows what happened between you and Shade, except I think they know. Yet if this were true, why me?".

Seren sighed. "W-when I was only seven, my little sister was killed by a vampire and I myself dragged off to a laboratory. When I look at Shade I often see the same glint the boy's eyes had then......I no longer have my wolf which makes it easier for me to be around Shade without actually WANTING to."

Shade suddenly appears next to Vitali. He looks to him and nods. "This is all my fault…… I've been so confused lately… Please before you say anything about me or do anything to me, I want you to promise me something………… Take care of Seren for me. I have hurt her and many others. I'm leaving today and I need to know you will take better care of her and the others than I could. All I bring is pain due to me being the Child of Dracula. So please….. Take care of her and everyone else."
Shade suddenly turns to serene and smiles weakly before jumping to the edge of the building and throwing himself off.

Vitali caught him. He glared at Shade. "Dumbass, you don't get it at all!". He threw Shade back into the infirmary, breaking the window. "Just because your the child of Dracula, doesn't mean you have to kill yourself just because others make fun of you and all". Vitali grabbed onto Shade's collar. He pointed at Seren immediately. "This girl....she actually LIKED you before. I can tell it in her eyes. You just want to avoid it because you think it'll ruin her happiness". He looked at Seren with calm eyes. "Listen, I'm not sure if she still likes you or not, but if you think you'll ruin her happiness, your wrong. All anyone actually wants is someone they can be beside with!". He threw him onto the floor. Vitali's eyes started to tear up, knowing that Shade had everything he could have ever wanted, but he just didn't realize, unlike Vitali who had almost no hope at this. "Stand up punk. If your so desperate to die, at least allow me to fight against it to show you".

Vitali couldn't believe what he was doing. The grey wolf wasn't interfering, and he didn't know why Shade was doing all this. Turning back, Vitali glared at Shade in anger. "You don't understand anything...". He slid off his coat, threw off his glasses, and raised his werewolf-transparency level to 6 of 10. Ears have perked out of his head (replacing his human ears), his tail appeared, his leg stats went over, and his fangs and claws started to grow. "I don't know why I want to fight...but if it's to show you all that you have and all that I don't, then so be it!". Vitali looked at Shade in arrogance. "I can't believe I raised my level to 6...but as long as it can actually put some sense into your mind, vampire!". The grey wolf suddenly came in. "I see...dealing with a vampire again". Looking back at the grey wolf in his mind, he said, "Now I understand why you hated vampires so much....so much that you wanted to end". The grey wolf stared at him, then nodded. "This is part of it..".

Vitali knew that fighting Shade could only put some sense back into him. Then again, he could possibly kill Shade if Shade really didn't want to know...but no matters. Vitali lunged, ready to actually beat the sh*t out of the clueless vampire.

Seren stood up and walked out, not saying a word. Up to the roof with an old, beater guitar. She sat, comfortably, beginning to play..."Now all these events have transpired I feel a part of me has died, look at the tears in their eyes. Everything seems crystal clear, when the edge of the glass is stained, I try to hide my pain...don't cry for the weakened ones we're already done, already faded away, and now anything I touch breaks...it's a cataclysmic mistake.."

Shade stands up and looks to Seren with sad eyes. A tear falls down and he suddenly feels a pang of guilt, regret, and hate for himself. "I'm a horrible person Seren…. But if I have to make it up to you in anyway I will gladly do so. Right now, the first way I'm going to make it up to you is let this werewolf beat me to near death. And then…. I'm going to ask for your forgiveness for as long as I have to…. so please after this, please take me back or do as you please with me……" Shade looks to the werewolf and gets in a fighting stance as he is lunging at me. Shade stands there and lets the werewolf attack him.

Seren began to cry, the tears dripping down and running with her mascara. "Shade, stop!!! Don't let him do this to you...."I'll take you back I promise I promise!!"

Shade stops and looks to her with a sad smile. "I said I'm not going to be able to return to you until I prove how sorry I am. If it means I have to be beaten to near death, then so be it. This is how much….. how much you mean to me. I'd be willing to die for you and I want to prove that to you. After I prove this to you, I will happily return to you." He then looks to Vitali and yells "Now come on you flea bag and beat me to near death!!"

Vitali stopped. He stopped. Yes that's right, he stopped. The time stopped. His claw was a few centimeters away from Shade's face. "Your that desperate huh...", Vitali said. Suddenly, something abnormal and strange happened. "Hey, grey wolf", Vitali said in his mind. "Is this what happened to you when you were in high school?". The grey wolf nodded. "It's like a play, staged right into the school". Chuckling, then laughing in his mind, Vitali said, "Well, I'm doing something you did a long time ago before this play ended". Widening his eyes in realization, the grey wolf said, "No....". Smiling back at the grey wolf, Vitali said, "May peace be with you". Suddenly, Vitali faded from the mind. The grey wolf had been released.

Back in the world, what really happened was that, the split second he stopped, he actually redirected his claws into the stomach. Shade looked at Vitali, shocked. "If your dropping the weight on me, I'll drop it back to you or whoever else will take it", Vitali said. "This blood she gave me is a waste...the world is a waste...we're all a waste...God wasted his time on all of us, for simple amusement". Vitali collapsed, and looked up at Shade with his eyes starting to dull. "Either we both die, or one of us lives, and I will make that last one living, you!".

Back in the mind, the grey wolf sunk in realization, alone. "That idiot is going to...". Looking up at the blank mind, the grey wolf said, "You think just like me, Vitali....you really do-".

Vitali pulled his level to something over 10 of 10..."Rebirth of god's incarnation", Vitali mouthed. Suddenly, a magic circle appeared around Vitali. He smiled, and looked at Shade. "This isn't for me. It's for you". Vitali smeared his blood all around the magic circle. A total pool of O cross AB magic blood. Forcing himself out in pain, Vitali grabbed Shade's leg, and tossed him into the pool. "Stage 3: Activate". Suddenly, the circle transmitted power. The magic blood of regeneration started to boil and rumble around Shade. As if it only happened for a split second, Shade was in the middle of the hole, all emptied from the blood. Vitali looked at Shade, and said with all his effort, "What I did...was that...I forced you to absorb 97% of....my werewolf regen blood...and made you...nearly immortal....". Looking back up to the sky he said, "You'll last for at least a hundred centuries...and there's nothing that can stop this...". Coughing blood, Vitali said, "My time's up. Hell to that, forcing me the burden. I gave it back, and your gonna carry it no matter what for life". Vitali collapsed, in a ruined state.

The wolf continued: "-love everyone too".

Seren felt this. She not only felt it, but Vitali had unknowingly and unwittingly subjected her to...something. And it hurt. The pain clawed at her insides, constricting her breathing..."S-Shade..." The girl lost her balance and fell from the roof, landing on the ground - snap went her right wing.
