Many people will doubt it because of the way he talks and his blatant lack of observation for most things, but Satel boasts an impressive IQ of 183. He lives by the idea that you can do whatever you want so long as you apply yourself and try as hard as you can at it. Now, this may sound ridiculous, but if anyone could prove it, it is Satel. He is ranked 27th in the world for rock skipping, knows how to wire just about all common appliances, and could once bench 430 (though he has let himself get a bit flabby of late). And to top it off, he taught himself telekinesis.
He saw a show about it on tv when he was 15, and immediately began studying. After two months, he could push over his tv. Directly after this realization, he tried to move the tv more. It blew a hole in his neighbors wall. The authorities, not believing his statement, thought that he was using explosives. He quite politely explained he got out of that phase when his parents kicked him out for blowing up their kitchen. Even more so that somehow seemed to reaffirm their beliefs and they tried to apprehend him. To their surprise, he won state in track and field and quickly outran them.
From there on, he hid from the authorities for about a year. At this point he was almost cornered. So, he made his final stand and ended up killing 3 army officers, and boarding a strange boat to god only knows where. Well, it seems like fate was looking out for him because the boat was heading towards the Academy. Upon being told of where he was heading on the boat, he became quite skeptical and surprised. He is certain it is all a scam to make people buy real-estate.
Satel stand 6'3" and has quite a deep, dumb-sounding voice. He has scraggily short brown hair, and is a bit overweight at 205. His eyes are a cool grey and he is a bit pale. He has also developed germaphobic tendencies though not an actual fear, it is more of a dislike. Usually he is seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Occasionally he will be in basketball shorts instead. It all depends on the weather. Finally, he is not very good at communicating with other people. This comes from a lack of social interaction caused by all his indoor studying he has been doing lately.
That's him except he is fatter and more stupid looking.
