Juliet is the kind of girl that is in the corner at a party or eats by herself at lunch. She doesn’t have friends, mostly because of her step-brother. She doesn’t talk much and she’s never and a real boyfriend, but she’s nowhere near naive. Due to growing up with her step-brother, she’s pretty broken. However, you would never know, because of the way she carries herself, like she’d completely confident.

She’s trapped in her life really and she sees no way out, but she’s always trying to see the brighter side of things no matter how bad things get for her. History
Juliet was born to a wealthy family. Her father a self-made millionaire and her mother was his high school sweetheart. Her life was seemingly perfect. Two years later her little sister was born. The two were best friends. They did everything together and it was safe to say that Jewels was the best big sister. Tragedy struck the Maddon family though when Julie was eight. Her little sister drowned in a swimming pool. She felt the brunt of the responsibility, her mother had left her in charge to take a phone call from their father who was away at the time. Her little sister feel in and she didn’t know how to swim.

Her parents grew bitter towards each other and her, then. Her father turned into a drunk who started spending long hours at his office while their mother was taking heavy pain killers, finally a year after her sister’s death her mother committed suicide. Again, her father blamed her. Her father practically ignored her.

When she was thirteen her father remarried an heiress to a famous hotel chain, who already had a son who was two years older than Julie. Her father’s new family took priority and it was like Juliet didn’t exist. She didn’t mind however, she knew when she was wanted and she knew when to lock herself in her room. However, her step-brother would come and crawl into bed with her in the middle of the night. He’d threaten her that if she told he’d hurt her. She learned to keep her mouth shut, her step-brother becoming violent and abusive towards her, demanding sexual favors and using Juliet.

Now her step-brother is eighteen and he controls practically everything she does from what she eats to what she wears half the time. Their relationship is dangerous and Juliet know her father and step-mother know what her step-brother does, they just don’t care to stop it. All she wants to do is get away from her fucked up life, but she’s pretty sure that will never happen.
