Hector's dragon is known as Behemoth, or just Moth as a sort of nickname. The two are about as similar as day and night, in truth, and this causes a lot of problems between them. Whilst Hector is loud, brash and playful, Behemoth on the other hand is quiet, curious and rather intelligent. With such a contrast in personality, it is hard to believe that Moth bothered to imprint on the young lad. However, they're kind of stuck with each other, much to their discontent. Their differences don't stop at personality, however, as while Hector is colourful and exaggerative, Behemoth's entire body covered in pure white scales, with a pair of pale amber eyes to accompany this.

Brash â Playful â Energetic â Childish â Facetious â Sarcastic
While Hector's own traits are certainly not as extreme as they used to be, it would be false to say that his personality overall is not - at the very least - a little overbearing. One of the main factors, or traits, which influence this common opinion would be his innately brash nature. This basically means that he is very self-assertive, and he will argue his own beliefs and opinions to Hell and back if he feels confident enough in them, but he'll do so in a very aggressive - almost rude - manner, making a lot of fuss and noise about it all - whether necessary or not. It is rare that he'll take no for an answer, mainly because he wants everything to go his way; he tends to act a little childishly otherwise, his frustration often taking the form of an immature temper tantrum. He's not proud enough to hold back.
However, when he's not trying to take control of a situation, you'll find him to be highly playful, and overwhelmingly energetic. Make no mistake, this does not mean he's happy-go-lucky or joyful in any way, but he always seems to be bursting with energy, therefore causing him to seem on edge all of the time, wanting to move and fill his time with reckless activities. He can seem very skittish at times, and almost paranoid. These habits also tie into his childish nature, mainly because he becomes very distressed and quite frankly annoying when he is bored. He'll start to bug others by invading in their personal space, asking intrusive questions, making a lot of noise to catch their attention, threatening to break something, etc. There isn't anything he won't do if he feels he's being ignored, and will rarely take a moment to process the consequences of this; he paints himself in the light of the victim if he is scolded, and can be highly emotional if he thinks he's being targeted by anyone, which causes him to act out.
It is because Hector is so immature that he never accepts responsibility for anything, and he'll often act in a very inappropriate manner if he sees that situation as being too serious for his liking. This means, in essence, that he'll crack a stupid joke, fart or burp just to fill an awkward silence, and then grin devilishly afterwards like nothing even happened, or he can't fend off insulting comments which may or may not upset the other person, simply because he didn't bother to think before speaking. Although, Hector will rarely ever understand why something is wrong, therefore removing him off any sense of social etiquette or morals. This, in turn, can sometimes cause him to seem a little dim-witted, and other times bitter. Unfortunately, it is only enhanced by his sarcastic tendencies and sharp tongue.
Hector does have some redeeming qualities, which appear only rarely and greatly contrast all of the aforementioned traits whilst still being directly linked to his childishness. This is mainly because - and it is important to remember this - the traits which Hector puts forward greatly vary/depend upon the situation at hand, and the company he finds himself in. He tends to be a lot sweeter around his friends, meaning that he is constantly trying to act in an adorable manner just to please them. He cares greatly for others, and while he's not entirely selfless, he finds no issue with helping his friends out whenever he finds the opportunity. In addition to this, he finds himself highly curious about the happenings and people around him; much comparable to a child, he is always finding new ways to create and act, therefore it is not hard to believe that he's constantly trying to better himself for the sake of maintaining bonds.
Despite everything, Hector is big on respect and earning trust. He needs to be able to feel comfortable around others if he is to reveal his better traits. However, this is only possible if he feels he is respected as a human being; he gives respect to those who've earned it... Somewhat.

It is clear from his everyday activities that Hector is a major nerd, although he prefers to refer to himself as a 'gamer'. He spends most, if not all, of is time tapping away at his computer, either playing browser games or writing some type of fanfiction for an anime or TV show he finds himself infatuated himself with at that time. He rarely does anything productive with his time, but his varied knowledge of completely irrelevant topics is something to behold. It is unknown whether he actually researches anything, but it's not entirely impossible to believe that he does. Aside from computers and technology, Hector finds himself enjoying the occasional book, though rarely the 'solid copy' kind. He reads everything online. He's only really interested in fantasy/action/adventure books, by such authors as Derek Landy or Veronica Roth. Another obvious love of Hector's would be food. He eats anything and everything he can get his hands on, within reason, and is always hunting down meals. He could eat more than his own weight's worth of food in one sitting.
D I S L I K E S
One of the main things Hector absolutely hates is being controlled; being told he can't do something or go somewhere, being told he can't have something he wants, or pretty much anything of that degree. It causes him to burst into fits of temper and childish immaturity. If he wants something to go his way, he'll be damned if anything besides that actually happens. Similarly to this, he hates being told off for something, mainly because he lacks the understanding of what he's actually done wrong. He sees it as unfair, and he's the type to hold grudges so he won't forget it easily. On a completely different note, Hector hates being mistaken for a girl. His feminine appearance (long hair, delicate features, etc) give him a somewhat androgynous appearance, accompanied by his childish/girly tendencies, often confuse people, and they are frequently surprised to discover that he's male. Such things cause his temper to act up, and he'll often lash out against them.
F E A R S
Hector fears being unable to act; this has a lot of variations (for want of a better term), and can be fuelled into a lot of other smaller fears. One of which would be physically being unable to move his own body, which in turn takes the form of a fear of being paralysed or even injured. As such, he often finds himself cowering away from dangerous or harmful situations at all costs; this paints him in the light of a coward, plain and simple. In addition, he fears confined spaces which will also prevent movement. Another smaller fear within the inability to act would be more psychological/emotional, because it centres around not being able to find a reasonable solution for a presented problem, or that his fear and cowardice will cause him to freeze up and hesitate.
H A B I T S
âē Hector often spends time brushing his hair, whether this is in the morning, in preparation of something, or simply to pass the time; there is something oddly comforting about the feeling of a brush combing through his hair. It reminds him of his mother, somewhat.
âē It's very obvious, but Hector cannot help himself. When he finds himself bored or wanting someone's attention, he'll often throw things at them, prod them, or even blackmail/bribe them into spending time with him, simply to satisfy his need for companionship and the like.
âē If Hector hears a word, phrase or concept that he does not fully understand, the first thing he'll do is find a device to access the internet (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.) and research it. This both expands his knowledge of vocabulary, and ensures he understands everything going on.
âē Asking a lot of questions is something common for Hector, mainly due to his curious and inquisitive nature. Whether these questions are intrusive or not, it makes no difference. He always wants to find out more about people and their lives; he is not so easily discouraged, either.
S T R E N G T H S
One of Hector's most notable strengths would be his driven nature; he is heavily motivated by goals he sets for himself on a regular basis (as well as the rewards), and will use his determined mind-set to the fullest advantage to achieve them. While some would see his persistent nature as annoying or overbearing in most everyday cases, there are quite a few times in which this benefits Hector. His lack of responsibility has nothing to do with this, and does not affect him. That focuses mainly on the long-term, whilst a lot of the goals Hector sets for himself can be achieved quickly and with minimal fuss; though his determination cannot be denied so easily, it is because of his lack of focus overall that he has difficulty sticking to larger targets for improvement.
F L A W S
As one would have no problem or hesitation in assuming, Hector has an overabundance of flaws which quite easily weight-out all of the good stuff. However, the flaws listed here will be mostly physical, as opposed to psychological/emotional as mentioned previously throughout the sheet. One of his main flaws would be his utter lack of physical strength; being unusually slim, it is not hard to imagine Hector being picked up and snapped clean in half without minimal issue. As well as lacking a decent amount of muscle, Hector's lack of a good diet and exercise means that he is generally unfit and - in a lot of ways - unhealthy. While he may seem energetic, he is not able to partake in many sporting activities due to the fact that he'll become breathless easily, and his muscles will begin to scream and ache after only a short while. He finds himself resting quite a lot to make up for this, or consuming energy/caffeinated drinks in order to give himself a boost. But with this comes the idea that he'll crash hard after a while.

As previously mentioned, Hector has an outwardly androgynous appearance. Androgyny is defined as a combination of both masculine and feminine physical features and behavioural traits (for example: a female could have just as many masculine traits, or a male could have just as many feminine traits). This, as a result, means that it is somewhat difficult to define a person as either one gender or the other at first glance. The main features which actively contribute to other people's confusion would be his long hair, which reaches down to just below his shoulders (to the collar bone when pulled forward). His fringe is thick, and hangs down the right side of his face, covering the eye almost completely most of the time. It is dyed purple in colour, which is stereotypically a rather feminine colour, and his large - almost dazzling - irises are covered with purple contacts, coloured to match his hair identically. These two abnormal colourings only work to enhance his pale complexion, and in turn make his features delicate - very feminine, as far as typically male facial features go. Another contributing factor is his petite figure; he stands at a height of around 5'2" (which is quite short for someone of his age) with a slim body to accompany this. It is quite common for people to assume Hector is merely a flat-chested girl because of this; which is also as a result of his baggy clothes - they work to hide his figure, therefore leaving it a mystery as to whether he has curves or muscles; in reality his body is perfectly straight, and without either. Hector can fall under the category of 'boy-lolita', which is a term used to describe those who are much older than they appear to be, but will purposely make themselves look young - in Hector's case, it is mainly to preserve a look of innocence and sweetness.
C L O T H I N G__S T Y L E
Although it is mentioned in the above paragraph that Hector favours baggy clothing to be able to hide his figure from public judgement, this is only really applicable to his torso, which is the main indicative of his true gender; male. He wears loose-fitting t-shirts, sweaters, cardigans and hoodies with fluent regularity. However, his legs are stick-thin, and so any normal jeans will drown him completely, therefore he wears skinny jeans which are skin-tight on others, merely so that he is able to retain some sense of normality with regards to his weight. Often times, he can be caught in such things as jeggings or tights, because they work just as well as, if not better than, jeans. His style is overall very basic; he's not one for adorning his wrists and such in jewellery, and it is rare that he'll ever bother with scarves or hats. Such is not his way; they feel like clutter, unnecessary and only meant to decorate one's body in order to grab attention. He does not want people to stare at him more than they already do. However, he did have his ears pierced as a child, and keeps the earrings in only as a link to his past life and to show some odd sense of respect to his parents for their efforts. With regards to colour schemes, Hector likes to keep his options open, though - as his hair and eyes would suggest - he loves the colour purple; the majority of his clothes are.
M A N N E R I S M S
With the accompaniment of his clothes and physical features, Hector also acts in a very feminine manner. This is evident mainly in the way he carries himself in his day-to-day life. Despite his loud, outstanding personality, Hector holds himself in a very timid and delicate way, almost as if a slight breeze could knock him on his side without even the slightest hint of trouble. With his hands clasped in front of or behind him, Hector seems to be nervous almost all of the time, like merely being in other people's company is enough to make him break down and cry. This, of course, changes when he's around his close friends or roommates, but not by a whole lot - just enough to be mildly noticeable. Even then, he stands almost in the way you'd expect a young girl to; he often sways from side to side, moves his feet around frequently, plays with the edges of his shirt or his belt loops, etc. He sits in ways you'd expect to really hurt a male (for obvious reasons) but acts like it barely phases him at all. On a completely different note, he can even stay in keeping with the aforementioned qualities when he's in a bad temper; he'll stick his hip out to one side and rest his hand on it or cross his arms, he'll pucker his lips out when he disapproves of something, etc. He'll exaggerate when he talks by using his entire body to accompany his speech, but it can be contained to one area.

Hector was born into the sort of hippy-dippy family you'd expect to be off living their lives in a trailer somewhere; which is, as it stands, completely true information. He grew up in a cramped living space, with his parents and younger brother all sharing one king-sized bed with him in their little caravan-styled home. This was located in the middle of a woodland area, isolated from all kings of society, until he was about 12 years old - upon which point they were made to relocate to a trailer park due to issues which Hector was not informed of at the time. They stared there for a long, long time. It is assumed from this that Hector never lived a privileged life. He never had the things he wanted when he wanted them, which he now blames for his constant desire to grab onto anything he wants before anyone else can.

Hector attended any and all local schools within the area his parents decided to settle in, meaning that he had to swap and change quite a lot, and never really had enough time to develop any meaningful relationships with his peers. Not that he had a chance in hell of that anyway; his poor lifestyle made him a target of other people's bullying, which therefore allowed his negative qualities to flourish and a nasty temper to form. That only proceeded to make him even more unpopular, if that was even possible. He tried, after a while, to stop focusing on other people's views, and instead on his high school classes. He chose to study I.T. and Media, mainly because such concepts as 'technology' were completely foreign to him, and his natural curiosity pushed his decision. He ended up being drawn into that life, where you could discover anything you wanted with a few clicks. It was this newfound discover that pushed him to change his life, possibly for the better.
O C C U P A T I O N
N/A - Upon leaving school, Hector made the attempt to use his Media and I.T. qualifications in order to become an I.T. technician, journalist, web designer, etc. Pretty much anything in that area of work. However, each time, he was refused a job for one reason or another (mainly due to his poor communication skills), and relies on others to pay his rent for him; he fully intends to repay them, but he doesn't quite know how as of right now.
