Gin is a girl who loves to live life for the moment and has little to no problem getting loud and ignorant with people when she feels that it's needed. Unlike her boss, she doesn't mind stepping on people's toes and telling them exactly what she thinks. There is no such thing as sugarcoating with her. She's not rude or obnoxious, though quite a few people might accuse her of being such. She's simply brutally honest and won't apologize for being herself. She's not the type to label herself a feminist and will often butt heads with the misandric and militant type feminists that she meets. Despite her apparent coarseness, she's actually a pretty sweet woman if you can get past her big mouth. She's not a stranger to lending a helping hand and she can recognize when she's hurt someone unnecessarily – Even if it takes her a while. She always makes up for her wrongs and will, begrudgingly, admit when she is wrong. One thing that she hates more than anything is handouts. The story begins with a model. Michelle was a fabulous woman, though she was well known for being a diva. She produced the scandal of the century when she began cheating on her then husband with her makeup artist. After the press died down she got a divorce and was soon on her way to getting remarried. The main reason that it was such a scandal was because she was seventeen when she'd married her first husband, who was twenty-nine. Her second, and current husband, was twenty-four. She was eighteen when she married him. Not too long after, the happy couple had their first child, Maximilian. A couple of years later, she gave birth to twins Michael and Alexander. Pierre was what they'd thought would be their last child – She was twenty-two and tired of posing pregnant. She wanted to be back on the catwalk. She got her tubes tied and returned to the catwalk soon thereafter. However, through an unknown mishap, it seemed that her tubes had other plans for her and she was soon twenty-seven and pregnant with their first girl and last child. She made her husband get a vasectomy to prevent any other unwanted children.
Like most people would assume, Genevieve didn't get much attention from her mother unless it was for an interview or photo op. She was raised mostly by her brothers and their nanny, not complaining one bit. Her mother always thought that it was inappropriate that she was so rough and tumble and wouldn't allow Genevieve to go out in public for three months until her hair grew back and she reverted to dresses after she gave herself a haircut and began wearing her brothers' old clothes when she was seven just to piss her mother off. The family got a new start after the death of their eldest brother, Max. Much to the dismay of his parents, Max was gay. It had been rumored for some time that sixteen year old was in a relationship with one of his co-workers, a German model, Viktor Vreni. It was confirmed within a month and the press went wild. He was walking home with his boyfriend one night when he was attacked on the streets of Paris by assailants that were caught almost immediately after beating the two to death with statuettes of the Virgin Mary. The funeral scarred Genevieve forever after a couple of naughty and curious cousins opened the casket to reveal her disfigured brother. She's never gone to another funeral since then – It's a wonder that she has such a love for horror flicks.
After the funeral, the family moved to their father's country estate in Surrey and left the limelight. This was Michelle's most frustrating time, unable to convince her daughter to be more ladylike. She was trying to get her daughter into modeling as she had done with her sons, at the very least, acting. But Genevieve wasn't having it. She didn't like people staring at her and she liked the internet. She was always checking out books about computers and had designed her first web page when she was only twelve years old. Her mother eventually gave up. After five years of being in the shadows, the family decided to move again. This time, they moved to California. Their father had been offered a job working for Cover Girl and he took it. Upon their arrival, their mother announced her official retirement so that she could spend more time with her children. By “children”, she meant Genevieve. While the twins and Pierre had traveled to San Francisco with them, they had soon enrolled in San Francisco State University and moved out. Again, Michelle tried to get her daughter into modeling or acting but Gin continued to refuse.
