Little Things

What do you like?:
"PB&J, running, and training. I'm obsessed with all three and always have been. Running every morning to keep in shape, training every day, whether it's weapons, fighting, or survival depends on the day, and I ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day until the world ended. Though it never really did, not for me. I love my knife; I got it when I was eight or nine and have never taken it off of me since. It is the length of my forearm and I always keep it strapped to my thigh. I have a backup tucked at my waist as well, for long distances in case I need to throw."

What do you dislike?:
"I hate outsiders. I've been with my clan for almost my whole life and I have learned to never trust anyone on the outside, or inside for that matter. Anyone can betray anyone after all. I hate people that try to hide their true beliefs or lie badly. People that are naive and too trusting also piss me off, as I used to be one of them. I hate fire, deathly afraid of it in fact, and I cannot stand cats."

Do you have any hobbies?:
"Knife throwing is my known hobby, as is running. What not many people know about me is that I sing, and I don't think I'm very bad either. Besides those three, I don't really have any now. Before, I used to read and write well enough, but there's no time for that now. I am good at interrogating people though."

Do you have any phobias or fears?:
"Yes, fire is my worst fear. It used to be losing everyone I love, but that already happened and I have nothing left to lose. So fire is my worse fear now, with a few others like tsunamis and earthquakes."

What are you like as a person?:
"I am not afraid to say that I do not trust easily, or at all really. I am not ashamed of that; I became smarter, learned how to live in this new world. I question everything and anything I can now, and I know I am blunt with my opinions. I've just learned that there is not point in wasting breath on formalities and pleasantries anymore, especially when no one really cared in the first place. I know I'm stubborn and headstrong, more than I should be; I am opinionated and I don't take crap from other people anymore either."

History

Give me a brief history of yourself.:
"I was born and raised in Washington D.C., as was my dad before me. My parents met on the job as Foreign Service officers in Barcelona, Spain. Once I was born, they decided that they should settle down to raise their family. My brother was three years older than me and had lived in Rome, Italy and Latvia before I was born in Georgia (the country). That was when they moved back to D.C. and where we lived in an apartment in the city. My parents perished in the unbecoming of the world. My brother and I were all that was left of them, until he died as well, caught in the crossfire of two armies with no cause. Then I was alone and the wood clan found me. I've been with them ever since I was ten and the only possessions I have left from home are my knife from my father and an old picture of my family all together. They never leave my person. Ever."

Tell me about your family.:
"What's left to tell? My parent's died and so did Grant. I never knew any other family, and as far as I know, none of them are alive anymore."

More info.:
None to tell

Theme Song:
Light 'em Up || Fall Out Boy
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.

B-B-B-Be careful making wishes in the dark, dark
Can't be sure when they've hit their mark
And besides in the mean, mean time
I'm just dreaming of tearing you apart

I'm in the de-details with the devil
So now the world can never get me on my level
I just gotta get you off the cage
I'm a young lover's rage
Gonna need a spark to ignite

My songs know what you did in the dark

So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire

So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire

Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
In the dark, dark
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
In the dark, dark

All the writers keep writing what they write
Somewhere another pretty vein just dies
I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see
That you’re the antidote to everything except for me, me

A constellation of tears on your lashes
Burn everything you love, then burn the ashes
In the end everything collides
My childhood spat back out the monster that you see

My songs know what you did in the dark

So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire

So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire

Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
In the dark, dark
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
In the dark, dark

My songs know what you did in the dark
(My songs know what you did in the dark)

So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire

So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire

Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
In the dark, dark
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.
In the dark, dark

Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa.

So begins...

The walk through the woods, her regular routine, took longer this time. She usually made an effort to hunt quickly, tread lightly, and avoid other people at all costs. She usually never had any trouble, living in the middle of the woods and away from anyone even left on Earth. But occasionally, there were others in the woods, others like her laughing and talking and eating with each other like they were a family, close-knit, happy. Jun hasn't had that in a long time and she knows she never will. She'll never be able to fully trust someone again and she knows it.

Her feet tread lightly through the foliage in the thick woods. Even though she travels this way every day, there isn't a worn path to mark her presence or anyone else's. But as she walked down the path that day, she heard voices. A man and a woman, speaking to each other about going to camp. As she got closer, she could see them: an older brunette and a boy. It seemed like they had just become allies and she couldn't decide whether that was a good idea or not. It certainly hadn't worked out for her a few months back when she had allied with a younger girl named Hope. She was too young, too unsuspecting, too trusting. Now, Jun was alone again and she wanted it to stay that way. Though it was quiet, it was easier to hear and stay hidden. No one knew about her or where she was, which was a comforting thought.
