Token: She has a mini violin that she can where on a bracelet. It doesn’t work, but it reminds her of home.
Personality: Besides being a little nutty and slightly…off, she is overall a fun, quirky person. She used to be known as the “crazy girl” in her district purely because of her excitement for the most random things and also her odd personality and style. Although she really is a nice girl, she likes to have fun with things and be a little…unusual. She is hyper and immature and will probably consider everyone a friend whether they like her or not. She doesn’t really pick up on cues that tell her she’s not welcome or that she really isn’t wanted in places.
History: Nyx and Cataclysm, her sister, are twins. They basically did everything together as kids. Their mother was a seamstress and her father was an engineer. Her family was fairly rich and always had enough money. That didn’t stop Nyx from putting her name in several times this last year. She had always wanted to be picked for the Hunger Games. Her sister would never allow her to volunteer, though. Her and her sister became very, very close. They often performed in the street, he sister singing and her playing violin. They soon, though, had very different styles. N.V. dyed her hair and often created face paint for herself to wear. This made her stand out even more than usual.
As a child, though, Nyx always showed an artistic and quirky side. She would design dresses to make, even though they didn’t have as much materials as the textile district. Showing her designs to the peacekeepers, they always told her how she would be great in the capital. She soon became obsessed with capital fashion and write down notes every year about the way they dressed at the reaping. Her dream had always been to go to the capital.
When she was 18, she knew it was the last year she could be picked for the hunger games. She was upset, but knew there was still hope. To help her out a little, she decided to put on a dress she had been working on and do her hair up so that she looked just like she was from the capital. Besides making her completely stand out from everyone else, it made her look good to the people in the capital when they saw her. She was actually attempting to make fun of the capital. She was happy, though, to be part of the Games.
Anything else?: She has a disease that would kill her in a few years. If she wins, she might be able to find a cure in the capital. If not, she will be glad to die in the Games that she had always hoped to be in.
Your reaction to being chosen for the Hunger Games: Expression. She was a little bit shocked at first, but then couldn’t help but laughing. Everyone stared at the “crazy girl” who actually seemed somewhat happy to be there. She was, too. She wanted something interesting to happen to her and really hated her life at home. He sister was upset, but Agony was all smiles for the girl.
