Mykeisha Bruma
An eighteen year old girl from District Nine.
She's extremely good at throwing knives, and she's a good runner. She is very good at listening for things, and is very observant and has great reflexes. She is also good at judging things like Time, Distance, or Physics.
She's got greyish white hair (genetically, some people had white hair durring this point of the future) that is something like snow, and she's got semi-pale skin, because she doesn't like being in the sun too much. She's quite tall and looks quite mature, and isn't too scawny, nor is she fat, but she isn't a guy magnet either.
She carries a gold pocket watch. It doesn't work, but Mykeisha's always enjoyed moving the hands back and forth, for it calms her down. She found it when she was 12, when she was wandering around one night, and saw a younger girl. She could only make out a silouette of the girl. It was likely shadows playing tricks with her minds, but Mykiesha thought she was a vampire. When the girl noticed her, she dropped the watch and had run toward the forest, and Mykeisha never saw her again. She didn't think it was possible to go outside, but...
She is merciless, and rarely takes pity among others. She's the type that'd sacrifice her own health for somebody else, but considering the Hunger Games are free for all, she's not planning on dying. She isn't one who is too keen on making alliances, considering she doesn't have too many friends, however, somehow managing to get on her better side is quite rewarding. You can imagine she doesn't smile unless she's finished what she's started.
But, she is mute.
Her weapon of choice is any type of knife, especially ones she can throw.
Her family was somewhat high in income compared to most in District, so for some reason, they had collections of knives. Mykeisha's family owned a bakery. Mykeisha loved to run as a young child, and she'd often get spare time to do things she liked, like throwing rocks, running distances, or lifting things. She hasn't made too many friends because she can't talk, and she's rather independant anyway. By the time she reached 9, she started to help out in the bakery, and by the time she reached 13, she started taking interest in knives. Especially daggers. She's realized she'd need to protect herself if she were ever chosen, and thus has been training at using knives to fight. By the time she reached 18, she thought she made it out lucky, untill of course...
