Likes:

• Peace and Quiet - The feeling of nothing else impacting her life. Just being able to relax in the environment she's in would be a dream.
• Chocolate - Like every other girl, she loves chocolatey things.
• Not Socialising - She's an independent girl with trust issues. Social situations wouldn't be her favourite...
• Warmth - She loves being tucked up, hating the cold.

Weaknesses:

• Her Empathy Trait - although it helps her to be a nosy little minx in which she can find out how others are feeling, what their enduring, it also catches her offguard. When others feel pain, she feels pain. When others feel suicidal, she feels suicidal. When others feel the urge to fight, well so does she. It's a bit of a two way system that she's still trying to control after all this time.
• Loneliness - She's made herself lonely, and is still having trouble trusting others. But, if one were to suddenly capture her trust, it's predictable that she would throw her life away for that one companion she's always seeked.
• Has trouble reading and writing

Fears:

• Coming across as weak/needing to be rescued -Becoming dependant on herself means that she's had to fight her own battles and go with her own strength. To be rescued is showing a lot of weakness, and therefore may be someones entrance to her trust.
• Thunder and Lightening - It's a fairly childish Fear, but it scares the shit out of her. The noises and lights, it reminds her all too much of being tortured in the institute.

Personality:

She’s a hard-going tough girl who tries anything she can to get what she thinks is right. She has real trouble trusting anyone over the age of 17, knowing that those people are close to being sent out of the ‘super-abomination’ category and more the freaks that keep them strapped down or in cages. She rarely smiles and very often just gives suspicious glances to people. She has a terrible soft spot for children, and more often than not has been caught behind, due to wanting to save kids –explaining why she hasn’t broken out yet. She can be very violent, but she can also be very protective and a real strong-hearted fighter, doing what she believes is right. Sure, she seems tough, but however once someone has gained her trust, she’ll more often than not be more kind, caring, playful and a little sarcastic. You'll know she trusts you, when she finally smiles. She’s secretly still a very nice girl, but the outer shell is exactly what everyone has made her to be. An abomination.



Their History:

Velo had always been a very cute bubbly baby. As a baby, she was sweet and always was smiling and laughing as soon as she learnt how to. She would always want to cuddle and play with her parents and was always content when she wasn’t. She loved to be cared for.

However, one day at day-care, she was in the middle of playing the game ‘duck duck goose’ when she was suddenly declared the ‘goose’ she chased the other child until her powers kicked in, and she accidently rammed him into a wall, actually causing him to be thrown straight through. There were many occasions when this happened, and soon it had become too much. On her way out of day-care one day, a black van came along and scooped her up, chloroformed her and took her to the institute for Super-abominations. Even there she acted sweet. She’d always try to hug the other abominations, or even the staff. But they just pushed her away and tortured her.

Soon after, her empathy trait kicked in, and she felt the immense amount of pain from the other people in the institute. She became isolated, cold and alone. Nobody would help her. She knew everyone’s pain, but they didn’t know hers. Through all the pain, she was unwanted, and nothing but a nuisance in everyone else's backside. The day she realised that was the day she changed. The day that she no longer smiled everywhere, and it soon became a rare occasion to see her face lit up into a grin. She became a hell-raiser, and would do anything she could to get out of the hell-hole. She’s really still a caring sweet gal, but go anywhere near her with a hug now, and prepare to get your ass beaten to the ground. Hell, if they wanted her to be an abomination, then an abomination she’ll be.



Other:

Velo has always deeply craved some form of companionship, but has come to learnt that in her current situation, that's hard to come by... Convincing herself she's Asexual, she has tossed away the idea of becoming close to anyone, and therefore only relying on herself in life.
