”Judy McGee, get your ungreatful butt out of bed” her step mother called.

”How can I possible get up with these chains on?” she hissed at her step mom. Her step mom came in and unlocked the chains threw her two suit cases on the bed, they were already packed, the only thing she hadn’t packed was her dog. Grabbing the dogs bed, she put the collar on her Pitbull mix, Panther, and folded up his cage, taking that to the car first, putting the dog in the back seat, she dropped the dogs bag onto the floor of the van, then went back inside, grabbed her suit cases and hopped in the van. ”Aren’t you glad I’m going away” Judy sneered as she smoothed out her dress, pulled out her make up bag, and applied her pink eye liner, mascara, and lipstick. ”I hope I’m not roomed with a goth” she muttered as her step mother began driving.

”I hope they never send you back” her step mother hissed. ”I only took you in because your mother is still alive, and in rehab” her step mother sneered at Judy in the rearview mirrior. ”Had you been goth, I wouldn’t have to see your sickening smile. Now please shut up for the rest of the ride” she said in an impatient tone.

Judy bit her tongue and giggled as her dog said something to her about the step mother. ”I hope she enjoys the present I left under her sheets” Judy threw her arms around the dogs neck and kissed his nose and ear, glancing up to see the disgusted look on her step mothers face. Judy returned it with a genuine smile.

As they drove in silence, Panther, her dog, was looking at every tree with excitement. ”I know, this is your first car ride since the day we took you to the vet” she said to the dog.

”I can’t believe that thing can understand you, you are a freak” her step mom sneered.

”Better to be a freak than a witch” she said with a grin, and smiled as they got closer to the school, once they reached it, Judy took out her bags, Panther followed by her side, carrying her own leash, the rest of the stuff Judy could carry by herself, just barely. ”Well Panther, we’re here.” she said as her step mother drove off, purposely getting dirt on Judy’s dress. Judy rolled her eyes and let her dog do his business and waited on the steps of the school.

Judy walked into the front doors, carrying all her bags, she looked like she had scoliosis, her dog at her side, walking up to a board, she saw her rooming assignments and went straight to her room, as she got in, she noticed the other side was empty, putting her bags down, she set up Panthers crate, put her bed in it, and her few toys, Panther proceeded to curl up and fall asleep.

Judy tossed her suit case on the bed, and unzipped her bright pink bag, pulling her neatly folded clothes out, and putting them in drawers, her under garmets going in first, even those were folded neatly, as she finished packing those away, she took her bag of potpourri and neatly placed it in the corner, taking out her shirts, she packed those away, doing the same thing with the rest of her clothes, her dresses, over alls, and boots went in a tiny space of the closet, she placed a small bag of toiletries under the bed, and slid the empty suitcase under the bed, taking her bright blue one out and placing that one on the dogs crate, she takes out her horse printed bed sheets out and begins putting them on the bed, starting at the head of the bed, wrestling with it for a few seconds, she smoothed it out, placed her bed sheet over it, tucking in the sides and bottom, finishing off with her two pillows.

On the bedside table she put her pink ihome on the table, putting the iphone on the docking system, pressing play, playing Something Bad, by Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert. As she finished up, she hung up a poster of Luke Bryan, and laid down on the bed, waiting for her room mate to show up.

Panther woke up, and jumped up on the bed with her, bringing her toy rope with her, Judy tugged the other end, swishing it back and forth. "well Panther, I guess we're getting a boy roomate. I just hope I can for once start a romance or something like that." she giggled.

"I don't know why anyone wouldn't like you. You're smart, funny, nice, and you are passionate" Panther said looking at her, then jumped up and licked her face, thumping his tail against the wall.

"Panther! Stop" Judy says laughing hysterically.

Judy and Panther sat in the room, alone, as Judy’s roommate had not shown up yet, she could hear the others flirting and talking in their rooms, Judy got up and closed the door, then turned up her music, blaring Move Your Body she then begun to dance along to the song. Not caring that her moves were the kind you’d see in a club, or music video. Panther laid down on the bed and fell asleep, digging her head under the pillow so she didn’t have to listen to the people in the other room.

Judy honestly didn't care if her new roommate walked in and saw her dancing like a music video girl, dancing was her favorite thing to do, and she always danced like no one was watching. She also didn't care if anyone else walked in and saw her. When one song stopped, she returned to her iphone and searched for another song, once one was found, she continued dancing like no one was watching.

Panther took off running until he smelt the cat, Panther being friendly with cats began wimpering at the door, wanting to play.

“I’m not opening that door ‘til you answer my question. Why were you following me?”
He continued to hold the door shut, though he was getting a bit agitated by the smell of dog. He wasn’t a fan of dogs, mostly because he didn’t really understand them. But he did know cats, so he did his best to get the information he wanted while trying not to make him feel cornered. He tried to calm his voice. “Look, I just think it’s a little … different that someone like …you would even take notice of me, let alone follow me. I just want to know why, then you can go, okay?”

Ty was starting to get bored just laying on his bed and listening to his music. So he turned off his music and decided to look around his new prison. Maybe he could meet some of his fellow inmates.
Ty opened up his door and stepped outside into the hallway, continuing to smoke his cigarette. Ty looked up and down the hall and saw some girl holding a dog, and knocking on one of the room doors.
Ty walked over to the girl and looked her up and down. "Sup? Big Brother actually let's us keep pets around here?" Ty asked as he looked at the dog. "Cute dog by the way."

Being ignored for the moment, Judy sat down with Panther, as her dog sat in her lap. "No matter what, you are my best friend" she said, looking down at Panther.

I know momma Panther said as he licked her face.

As the new kid approached her, she smiled, and shrugged, "I guess, but I don't go anywhere without Panther." she said with a smile. "Yes he's a pitbull, but he's a friendly pit." she said as Panther smelt the new boy. "So why are you here? What's you power?" she asked, looking up at him, petting Panther.

"Panther huh?" Ty said with a bit of a chuckle. "That's a pretty badass name."
"Name's Tyson. But call me Ty. It's short, sweat, and rolls off the tongue." Ty said as he introduced himself. Ty took his lite cigarette out of his mouth and crushed it in his hand. He opened up his and wiped away the ash and showed her his hand without a burn.
Then in his other hand he created a fireball and shaped it to look like Panther. "Yeah I'm a pyro." Ty said as he closed his hand, dispersing the fire dog.

"Yeah, Panther is a badass" she said with a smile and watched as he crushed a cigarette. When she saw no injury, she smiled and nodded, she blinked, and her eyes went from violet, to pink. "Pyro, nice. I can change my hair, and eyes, and I talk to animals" she said with a smile as Panther looked curiously at his hand. "She wants to know if your hand is fake" she said with a giggle.

Well now, at least now he knew what Marshall's power was. And what a way to show it off. As the door slammed in his face he jumped back quite swiftly, didn't want to be caught in the force of the door closing in his face. But unfortunately Jurou's temper was his down side, he could be a bit of an asshole and it would be unfortunate for his room mate to first witness this side to him. He seemed to be asked why he was really following him, as if he were being interrogated. Jurou wasn't liking the way he spoke to him. And so with a muffled short chuckle between closed lips, he turned to face Marshall. Through narrow eyes a cold glare was shot Marshall's way and a rather cocky grin formed on his face. "My my now wasn't that a little rude hey, Marshall." He casually yet confidently made his way over to the male, then leaned down so his eyes were levelled with Marshall's looking deep into them, those emerald eyes, how beautiful they were. His face was quite close now to his, too close for comfort perhaps, but personal space wasn't a concern of his. Sure this guy could probably kick Jurou's ass with an ability like that, but he didn't really care. He was reckless as always. He cocked his head to the side studying Marshall's facial features now that he could see his face up close, then the male seemed to calm his voice. What he said made Jurou feel quite sorry for him. "Someone like you?" Jurou repeated the male's statement back to him. What did he mean someone like him? What was wrong with Marshall? Perhaps he was a little insecure, maybe no one cared about him outside of the school. "Look this is different now mate, it's not like how it is out there with all the normal people, we're different, we're like a huge bloody family of freaks." He paused for a moment, standing up right then taking a step back to give the guy some space, he needed to keep his cool and not be an asshole just yet. "However they treated you out there is different to how people will treat you in here, trust me you can be sure about that." With that said he let out an irritated sigh.

"I was following you because I had nothing better to do, I was curious about if you would go to the pools or not, and you didn't which made things more interesting but then the blonde guy might have caught me stalkin- I mean following you, so I shifted into a cat so he wouldn't notice me but that did the opposite and yeah!" Jurou took in a deep breath, then exhaled. That was a lot to let out. He felt quite embarrassed by this point though. That was when he heard a knock at the door then, was that a dog he could smell? Jurou tensed up and turned to face the door, taking a few steps back away from the door. "I can smell a dog." He said with a bit of a quiver in his voice, he gulped nervously, he really didn't like dogs and so he casually stood behind Marshall, acting like he wasn't standing there because he was afraid but because he just wanted to stand there. But it was obvious he was afraid. He then began to wonder what happened to the blonde guy and the others. What did they think of him now? Well technically they didn't know what he truly looked like. So that was a relief. Unless Marshall told them 'hey this is that cat guy' then that would be quite embarrassing for him.

“But I did go to the pool, then I came back and relaxed for a while before I ran into Utrien. Shit, I must’ve gone invisible again at some point like I did in the pool and you just didn’t see me.” He released the door. “Sorry for going all psycho on you, but like I said it’s not a normal thing for anyone to take notice of me. It’s all a little new is all I’ve made more friends today than I have in the past… …well ever.” He sighed a little and his eyes watered a little bit. “It’s kinda overwhelming, ya know? I let the door go you‘re free to go” he said wondering why he had all of a sudden hid behind him, then remembered the dog. “I’m gonna go see if I can salvage what I started. Cool powers by the way, I love cats, but I could never talk my parents into getting me one.” he said with a smile. He opened the door and walked around the people gathered there and closed it quickly so the dog wouldn‘t get in. He made his down the seven doors to Mike’s room. He knocked on the door. “Hey it’s me, Marshall, can I come in?”

Utrien woke up to two people conversing and a dog right in front of Marshall's door. Weird, you would have thought they'd notice a guy sleeping on the floor. He propped himself up on to his elbows. Tilting his head, he felt concern for the cat inside the room. Wouldn't they feel uncomfortable with the dog outside? He scared the poor cat already, they probably won't trust him either.

Utrien watched lazily as Marshall exited the room and went for Mike's room. Utrien stood up and dusted himself. Well the least he could do was make it easier on the guy inside.

Turning to the two outside. He attempts to strike a conversation, maybe he can get them a reasonable distance away from the door so that whoever's inside can feel comfortable.

"Excuse me, but there is currently a distressed cat inside. The dog might not be helping," he said this in a calm voice that sends a message of trying to help, not offend. "I haven't met you guys yet. Hello my name's Utrien, it's great to meet your acquaintances." He has an easygoing voice and outer appearance that gives you sense of comfort and go with flow vibe.

Judy jumped when the door opened. "Oh, Panther here just wanted to say hi, and bring him fish if he wanted it, Panther likes cats." she said and extended her hand, "I'm Judy, and this is Panther" she said with her hand still extended. "If I held Panther, would that make the cat feel better?" she asked as she picked up the 95lb Pitbull and held her like a baby.

"Everyone's a critic." Ty responded to her asking if the hand was fake. The door that they were standing outside of, for whatever reason, opened and some guy walked out and pretty much ignored them.
Then some blonde guy that was sleeping in front of the door woke up and introduced himself. Weird that he didn't notice him. "Sup Utrien?" Ty responded back to his introduction. "I'm Ty. Just passing by."
"Well since I don't have a hamster or any other kind of animal to add to this, I'll be on my way." Ty said as he took a fresh cigarette out. "Well nice to meet ya' Utrien. And it's been a pleasure Judy." Ty said as he winked at Judy. Ty created a small flame out of his index finger and used it to light his cigarette. "Later Panther." Ty said as he patted the dog on the head and walked away.

The guy, Marshall, was pretty weird. Wait he just realised that he had treated him like a criminal, 'alright you're free to go' what the hell was that? He wouldn't listen to that guy, even if he wasn't allowed to go he'd just kick the damn stupid door down, or Marshall, either one would work. He was kind of pretty annoyed now thinking about how he was a bit of a push over just now. Well at least he liked cats, that was good at least. Not that he cared if he did or not, Jurou was still in a foul mood.

Okay now the next problem, opening that door. Slowly and hesitantly he approached the door, grabbed the handle, slowly turned it and opened the door ever so slowly. He saw the male who had chased him when he was a cat standing there, also a blonde male and a female holding... a... dog! Jurou stood there like a frozen idiot, he looked like he just got out of a fight with his shirt all messy, lazily laying on his shoulders, his jeans weren't done up properly which would explain why they felt like they were falling down a bit. His shoes weren't even tied up either, hopefully he'd notice that eventually to avoid the possibility of tripping on his shoelaces, that would be terrible. "Um." Was all he managed to stay as he couldn't look away from the dog, then the animal lover, oh god. Maybe he should just go back into the dorm, perhaps dig his way out with a spoon. Wait he didn't have a spoon, dammit.

After the introduction, Utrien noticed the somewhat distressed look on Jurou's face as he opened the door. Did he perhaps have a bad experience with dogs. He blinked and noticed that Ty is leaving, he waved as he left. It was interesting to meet a Pyromaniac.

Now feeling calmer, he asked as he turned to Jurou with a concerned expression veiled behind calm eyes."Pardon me," he paused to look at the dog with a happy expression."does the dog bother you?" He didn't mean to sound insensitive, he just couldn't help but feel calmer and happier with animals around.

Rayne finished her soda, and threw away the can. Making her way down the hall, and outside in the front where now, It was pouring with her grey mood. She stood under the small overhang and lit up a Pyramid, looking out over the desert. She looked up onto the wall, a camera sat staring back at her, she made a face and flipped off the camera. It was a tad bit weird to have cameras in a school in the middle of no where. She dropped the cigarette, and listened to the sizzle of rain hitting fire. A bright streak of lighting lit up the sky and was followed by a rumble of thunder as she reentered the building.

She made her way down the hall and entered her room, grabbing a writing notebook and a pen. She exited out into the hallway locking the door behind her, and found a good spot in the hall to sit. She brushed the hair out of her face as she slid on headphones, and set it to a loud rock song. It sounded slightly inside the hallway, but she couldn't notice as she began to sketch a map of the school that she had seen so far.

She drew the lobby, adding little notes beside some pictures and put in points of interest, and marked the do not enter hallways as a point of interest, drawing question marks on each. She had seen a lot of detectives do this, and she had always wanted to be a detective, so why not try now?

Judy went back to her room, as she was alone in the hallway now, Panther came behind her, not wanting to get in trouble from Judy, as she entered her room, she threw herself on the bed, and left the door open, taking her socks off, she threw them onto the empty bed. Oh Panther, why must I always be alone?" she asked, with a sigh.

Judy's ears perked when she heard another animal talker was there. Jumping out of bed, Panther followed, her tail wagging extremely fast. "I hope non of ya'll mind a Pitbull in here, she won't bite." she said, entering the room.

"Don't be a stranger, come in and sit down. So, Venom, we're all here because we have special abilities, tell us what's your power?"

Desire’s sudden extended invitation to Venom caught Caelan off guard. It’s not like the room was hers, but he refrained from speaking for the sake of social pleasantness. It would be nice if she’d ask first, at least. Guess the planning is over now. He crossed his arms almost sulkily and sat, watching the two interact. He did note a strange twitch in Desire’s face as she looked back after driving Mihael into the bed. So. I’m not the only one who’s bothered by Venom. What did she do to Mihael? Not to mention that he didn’t openly just flirt with Katherine too. Theories whirled around his mind, but nothing conclusive came to the forefront of his brain. Perhaps the matter could be cleared up more with his usual meditation routine.

Mentally making a note to think on the matter further, Caelan glanced at Katherine. His pupils briefly dilated as her eyes changed colors with the regularity of a spinning kaleidoscope. The entire process was fascinating, haunting, and intriguing. It was the first time he actually connected her powers to her emotions and her eye color as well. Is she even aware of that?, he wondered. He decided to ask about it later, once the current situation had blown over. Which, he hoped, would happen soon. His inner musings were interrupted by Katherine’s now familiar voice breaking through.

”" You have to teach me that zen thing you were doing earlier...I think I could really use it.”

”Hmm? Oh. That. Sure. I’ll teach you sometime soon, I’m going to need it eventually here in a few.

He turned his attention back to Venom, who continued to stand in the doorway. “I… Can talk to animals.” The hesitation in her voice immediately raised Caelan’s suspicions. Shyness or no, saying something about themselves that would be as obvious as their hair color should be something easily told. She was lying, but he couldn’t prove it. He opened his mouth to speak again when another voice cut through the air. ”Excuse me, did I hear you say you can talk to animals? I hope none of y’all mind a Pitbull in here, she won’t bite.” That was it.

”Nope! I’m done! Too many people in this goddamned room, I need to think. Don’t touch anything when you leave, or you’ll be paste when I find you!”, he shouted. Enough was enough, he couldn’t take it anymore. He grabbed Katherine’s wrist and dragged her out of the room with him. After rudely shoving his way past Judy, he slammed the door behind Katherine and headed off vaguely in the direction of the cafeteria, grinding his teeth. After a few moments of furious walking, he stopped and turned to Katherine. ”Sorry. But I need to meditate. So I’ll teach you while I’m practicing it myself. I can’t take that stuff after too long. Y’know?”

”Hmm? Oh. That. Sure. I’ll teach you sometime soon, I’m going to need it eventually here in a few. Caelan had looked back at her with a reply, letting her know that she wasn't the only one on edge with the current events unfolding before them. She was starting to feel a little claustrophobic in the room, as if it were getting hard to breath. Was it really the amount of people walking in or was that her fever getting worse. She ignored it as best she could. The girl with the unsettling pretty looks spoke up with an answer to Desires question. Thankfully she hadn't moved or walked into the room, regardless of Desire welcoming her into a room that wasn't hers. That seemed to be turning into a trend apparently. Kat had a feeling no one really remembered whose room they were currently in. She would have to set some very very VERY solid ground rules the next time people came over. Her future plans were pushed aside as Venom spoke in a hesitant manner. "I...Can talk to animals." Now that was a power that did not match it's owner and that was a voice that did not match her previously confident persona. Her looks didn't say animal lover but then again non of the people in this room had any physical evidence of what they were capable of. She knew for a fact that she didn't look intimidating, to some she might even look delicate like a doll. A doll with a hell of a temper and a big mouth, but a pretty doll nonetheless. Still, something was very off about this girl.

Before more thought could be put into it...yet another person peeked their head out of the corner of the door.
"Excuse me, did I hear you say you can talk to animals?. I hope non of ya'll mind a Pitbull in here, she won't bite." Another girl just walked right into their room followed by a small dog. Seriously? Kat didn't know if sighing and collapsing on he bed or raging at everyone to get the hell out would matter. Somehow both sounded useless in an attempt to make a difference right now. Either way she had enough of it and was about to comment on the rudeness of it all but Caelan beat her to it. Would she ever get to say something without an interruption today? ”Nope! I’m done! Too many people in this goddamned room, I need to think. Don’t touch anything when you leave, or you’ll be paste when I find you!” Surprisingly, she didn't mind this one interruption because he basically said exactly what she was about to say. Then he did something she was not expecting at all. He grabbed her wrist and half dragged half pulled her tiny self out of the room. They bulldozed through the two girls near the door, shoving the newest girl to the side on their way out. Kat was too stunned to say anything, he looked as annoyed as she felt a few seconds ago. He was even grinding his teeth as they walked, somehow she found that kind of cute in a way a kid with a tantrum and pouty face would be cute. He kept dragging her along and her already dehydrated self started feeling a little short of breath at the speed they were going, the fever clearly having an effect on that. After a few more moments of walking he stopped. She sighed in relief, glad for the pause in movement. She wasn't out of shape but her body felt like she just ran a marathon, she tried to not how it as best she could not wanting to seem weak.

Image

”Sorry. But I need to meditate. So I’ll teach you while I’m practicing it myself. I can’t take that stuff after too long. Y’know?” She looked up at him with a slightly pink flush on her face from the fever. Small breathless pants escaping her rosy lips. She swallowed, trying to catch her breath. Once she did she looked to the side and spoke up." It's fine. I wanted to get out of there anyway. Way too crowded. Seriously what is with them...acting like they own the plac-...." She paused for a moment. An alarming thought occurring to her. She opened her eyes wide as if genuinely concerned and spoke in a soft voice. "You...aren't going to make me float like you were right?...." She tugged on the edge of her dress and pulled it down, her face getting even more red at the thought of him peeking at her dress. Her arm trembled in embarrassed rage, about to move to slap him when someone came up behind her from out of nowhere and spoke. "Sup? Name's Ty. I couldn't help but over hear something about meditation and teaching. I might not be extremely skilled with my thing, but if you need some help I do have a few tips and tricks to help. Especially if your powers are affected by anger." Her immediate reaction was to turn around and slap the guy right in the face, half from the motion she had started to slap Caelan out of pure embarrassment and half from the sudden scare that the guy gave her by suddenly showing up out of nowhere. Seriously who sneaks up on people like that. She took a step back as a reflex to get away from the thing that spooked her and ended up bumping into Caelan.

Anger overtook Judy as she was pushed, sensing her anger, Panther started growling and barking. "Come Panther, they obviously are part of some big orgey and want us gone." she said as she left the room, slamming the door behind her. Making her way to her own room, Panther's tail low, his ears back and his eyes narrowed. "It's fine Panther" she said calmly.

But you didn't make a friend today she whimpered.

"Yes I did, remember, the pyro?" she said and collapsed onto her bed as she left the bedroom door open. With a sigh, Judy got under the covers, pulling the sheet up to her chin, she fell asleep. Panther still mad, sat right outside her door, growling at anyone who walks nearby.

Judy got annoyed when she couldn’t sleep, her stomach had been growling, taking Panther, she went to the cafeteria, saw how everyone seemed to congregate there. ”Oh I hope my prenses isn’t too much for ya’ll” she said with a sneer, she was really annoyed with people treating her like a leoper. ”Name’s Judy, in case anyone cares” she added as she walked past, Panther growling at everyone by Ty. Sneaking past them, she grabbed an apple and soda and walked slowly towards the exit, Panther smelling everyone and lightly nibbling on Ty’s hand. Turning around, she went and stood by Ty and the redhead.

The click click click of her heels echoed down the halls as she got to the mess hall. Her glowing green eyes scanning everyone there. "Well hello fellow classmates, My name is Passhia but you can call me Fang, since, well I have a venomous bite" she said with a smile, running her tongue over her pearly white fangs. From around her neck, came a Cobra, it slithered down her legs to her side. "Don't panic, he doesn't bite. Well unless you're a cat, which I happen to smell" she said with a smile as she patted the snakes head.

The first one to respond to the series of events had been Caelan, naturally. A flare for the dramatic seemed to be a hereditary trait that ran in his family, Mihael was the same way but in a slightly different set of circumstances. They were twins so it only made since they would have things in common, including the prideful stubbornness she was quickly getting familiar with. That pride was the one that made him speak to his opposite or, as Kat now called him, bleached out version of him without actually turning to look at him. "Well. Well well well. You've certainly got a spine. Don't you? You might be worth something. As for you, Ty..."She tensed as she heard her roommate speak the other boys name, had her attempt to calm the situation failed? By the sound of his voice she couldn't tell that it had not failed. She had heard the shift in his tone, it was no longer coated in that dangerous instability it had been a few seconds ago. He continued talking to the fire user before turning back towards the table. [/color] "Don't cross me, and we will be fine"......"You make a fair point, friend. Burning every bridge immediately isn't worth doing on day one. In the grand scheme of things here, the end is what matters. Freedom is what matters. Making sure this doesn't happen to anyone else, matters." She heard footsteps move towards her and tensed a little as he whispered in her ear. He informed her that he would be in the courtyard meditating, and would meet her there if she chose to go or see her back at the room later tonight. After those short words he walked past Ty in an almost nonchalant manner. To some it would seem rude but she knew better, she knew how badly he was holding back. The silence that had formed as he moved was broken as his voice echoes across the room one more time. "But let me make one thing clear. Don't push me too far. It won't end well." The table nearest to him suddenly shook, crumpling in on itself until it was nothing more than a metal ball. A ball that landed with great force on the floor, cracking the tiles on impact as if it were a meteorite. That was the Caelan she had come to know, she knew he couldn't help himself. She had spoken, or thought, too soon on the matter of control. With that last act he walked out of the cafeteria and disappeared from sight. She would put some thought into meeting up with him after this depending on how things played out.

The pyro had listened intently to her speech, to her relief. She had been half afraid that he might have reacted explosively like Caelan and maybe even used his powers but somehow, contrary to his fiery powers, he had remained rather cool through this whole event. She didn't know how she would have reacted if she saw that fireball again but it would not have ended well. It was refreshing to meet someone who could actually keep their cool. In a way this boy was her polar opposite. He used fire but remained cool and she used ice and water but exploded in fiery rage more often than not. The boy looked at her hand then at her eyes, a look of confusion then wonder on his face as if he wasn't sure about something but was really thinking about it. He then turned, watched Caelan do his power trick and then leave. She watched curiously as he seemed to exhale all his rage before he turned back to her, she straightened up as best she could to look confident but quickly relaxed once she heard him speak. He shook her and with a warm smile on his lips. "It's already forgotten. The pleasures all mine, Katherine." His smile turned into an expression of concern, his voice worried. "Um...are you alright? My powers aren't hurting you are they?" She then remembered that she must look rather ill, her face must be as red as her hair by now and must seem exhausted. With everything that's happened she may as well explain why she was like this. First she let go of his hand and shook her head as an answer to his question, then jumped into an explanation." I will be ok. I just have a pretty bad fever because I used my powers one too many times today. There was a situation back in my room and well...things got out of hand. That's why Caelan was dragging me like that, he was trying to get both of us away from the others before both of us lost our tempers at the same time and someone got hurt. Your powers aren't affecting me in the way you must be thinking. When paused a moment, feeling almost ashamed at admitting this to someone other than herself. Even if she was scared to tell him it was for the best, as to avoid a bad situation later on.

" I'm....I'm really afraid of fire. There was an incident in my past where...I was almost burned alive and I haven't been able to even look at a candles flame since then without going into total shock. Which is bad because, sometimes my powers go all crazy if I'm like that... She had moved a stray lock f hair away while speaking, her voice trembling a little when she spoke, then pointed at the frozen water bottle on the table she had been in as an example of what she was saying to him. During her explanation a girl walked into the cafeteria with a small dog. It was the same girl that Caelan and Kat had almost run over when they left the room. Yet another person she had to apologize to, she had only seen her for a second before being dragged out so she didn't know if the girl would recognize her or not. She made her way towards the food, speaking with a sarcastic and semi hostile tone to no one in particular as she moved. ”Oh I hope my prenses isn’t too much for ya’ll. Name’s Judy, in case anyone cares” The girls attitude was such a harsh contrast to the super happy and friendly voice she had heard outside her door earlier that it almost scared her. The small dog seemed to imitate the girls anger and was growling at everyone that got in range of it's master. The girl, or Judy as she had informed the room, picked up an apple and a soda and made her back towards the exit when she stopped. The dog had jumped out of her arms and moved across the room with great speed, smelling everyone briefly before lingering on Ty's hand. It nibbled almost playfully on the boys hand. This made Judy turn and walk towards them, Kat tensed awkwardly but continued to explain to Ty." I will probably be fine after I get some more water in me and some sleep, I just can't really go back to my room just yet...too crowded. Caelan had brought me over to get some food and water so I could feel better. He...isn't as bad as he appears. Really. I'm sorry again, for what happened.

She smiled almost sheepishly before turning to the girl that now stood beside Ty and the small dog. Kat swallowed and spoke up awkwardly, it was now or never. She had already apologized twice today so she might as well keep going and get through with it all at once."Um..Hi. Judy? I don't know if you remember me from earlier. My roommate kind of dragged me out of my room as you were coming in and kind of ran you over on the way out. I just wanted to say that I am really sorry about what happened. There was too much tension building up in there, it was getting crowded and tempers as well as powers started flaring up. Please don't think that we were treating you bad on purpose, really we weren't. Things just happened in that unfortunate order. I hope you didn't get hurt, or your little friend there." Kat felt her heat racing with nerves as she spoke, she didn't know if the girl would react like Caelan and explode or like Ty and keep his cool. The only thing she could do now was breath knowing she had at least come forward and apologize, even if she hadn't been the one to run the girl over, for what happened. All these emotional loops today were seriously too much, she started feeling like she really did want to meet up with Caelan and do that weird floating zen thing. Hopefully the the rest of the time she will be in this place wont be as hectic, but somehow she highly doubted it would be any more relaxed with the kind of people clashing in it.

Not surprisingly, with the pattern of random people today, yet another person walked in. This time it was a rather attention grabbing girl in heels and a corset dress. Her hair bounced with each step as she cat walked into the room with an almost impossible entrance to miss, it reminded her a little of the twins dramatic personalities but a lot less hostile. Her green eyes scanned the room as she spoke. "Well hello fellow classmates, My name is Passhia but you can call me Fang, since, well I have a venomous bite." A small tongue ran over her teeth in an almost unconsciously animalistic manner to prove her point. The next thing that happened could maybe be the strangest thing that Kat had seen all day. Some real wickedly strange shit had happened today so that was really saying something. A Cobra. Yes, a COBRA had peeked out of her hair and slithered down her legs, coming to a stop on the floor beside her."Don't panic, he doesn't bite. Well unless you're a cat, which I happen to smell" She had spoken while petting the snakes head like a puppy. It was a boy snake? How can you even tell if a snake is female or male. She shuddered at the thought not wanting to really get a mental picture of the process. During this whole thing one thing still poked at her mind."Wait did she just say Cat? Cat's and birds where the two animals that Kat really loved, there was no way she had missed one, even in her dazed and feverish state. She looked around the room excitedly, probably the most animated she had looked since the fever started, her long crimson hair jumping along with her. Her childlike movements quickly turned into disappointing stillness and sad steel gray eyes having found no feline anywhere."Wheres the cat...?" She spoke to no one in particular but wanted an answer to her question.
