She woke with a start, black hair tangling around her face. Her mother had woken her, she scanned her face, she had been crying. "What is it, mom?" She asked, sitting up, flopping her hair to the side. "There are some men here, with the government they said you have to go with them to a school to learn your powers..." She said, sniffling. "What? That's bullshit!" Rayne said sitting up, as a man in a black suit came to stand in the doorway. "What your language, young lady. You have to go, it's mandatory, or else.. they'll send you away." Her mother burst into tears once more and sat on the bed to hug Rayne. "Miss Rayne, you have an hour to say goodbye and to be outside in the SUV." The man stated, and left down the stairs. Rayne sat there a moment is disbelief, this was really happening to her. "It's going to be alright, Mom. It wont be for too long, once they see how well I have mastered my power, they'll send me home quicker than the others!" she reassured her distraught mother. Her mother smiled briefly and left the room to let Rayne get ready and to pack. Rayne sat up and went through her drawers picking a black skirt and a white tank top, which she quickly slipped into, and then headed to the bathroom to brush her hair. She grabbed her blue brush and slowly started working her way through the various knots and tangles, as she finished she looked at herself in the mirror, black hair, light blue eyes, fair skin, she closed her eyes, to keep tears from streaming down her face. She didn't want to go, but she didn't have much choice... She quickly gathered herself and headed out the bathroom grabbing a few pairs of clothes and throwing them in her back pack, she slipped her headphones on, turning the song to her favorite and blasting it. Waiting for her time to be up. It came quickly and she was giving a wet goodbye to her mom before getting into the vehicle.
She watched as her forest terrain she called home, vanish completely and turn to ugly dirt for miles with cacti and the like, they had been driving on a dirt road for quite some time now.. she wondered if they would ever reach their destination. Finally, a dot n the horizon caught her eye, and they soon approached what looked like to be a prison, she grabbed her bags and was escorted inside, where she sighed as the lady droned on and on and on. she look at the time when the lady had dismissed her, it was almost lunch time. She went to her room, 118A and set her bag on the floor and crashed onto the mattress, and closed her eyes as she slipped on her headphones and fell into a relaxed music state.

"Oh goody... What have we here?"

Mihael McManus and his twin brother Caelan were brought to the Academy in a police car, wrists cuffed as they were led to the front door of the building. The only things they had were a bag each and a suitcase. Both of them seemed to be smirking to each other, as if this were all some sort of game or joke to be laughed at. Golden eyes watched as the officer that escorted them reached for his keys and undid their cuffs. "You boys are lucky that getting sent to this place is all you're getting. If it were up to me, you boys would be getting years behind bars."

Mihael would keep his smirk as he rubbed his wrists where the cuffs had once been. "Whatever you say, fuzz. It wasn't your call. You heard the jury." But he was right. For what these two had done, they really should be spending some time behind bars. Mihael watched as the officer undid his brother's cuffs and get back to his car. He seemed rather quick about it, too, like he was in a hurry to get away from those two boys. Mihael's hair flipped a bit as he turned around and picked up his suitcase and bag, making his way in the doors. "I'll see you when I see you, brother. We have different rooms." But before he left his brother, he'd give him a light punch to the shoulder. "Let's raise some hell." He waited for his brother's inevitable retaliation and comment before getting on his way to the dormitories. Settling in would be in his best interest for now.

Making his way through the halls, he eventually found his room. "One-eighteen A." He repeated what was marked on the paper to himself before opening the door. As he opened it, he noticed there was a girl on one of the two beds. Her eyes were closed and her ears were blocked by music. He took a double take to make sure that this was in fact a girl. Then he stepped back to check the room number, which matched up with what he was told was his room. "Co-ed. Dorming." He thought aloud, a large grin coming to his face. "Incredible. If only they gave me a cuter roommate... But I suppose it's a start." He walked in and closed the door, throwing his suitcase and bag next to the free bed, making it a point to do it as loudly as possible to alert his roommate. Keeping that ever-present smirk, the boy sat down on his bed and faced the girl.

When she would look up, she would notice a tall boy with tanned skin and messy white hair. His eyes were golden in color and seemed to shine like the precious metal the color reflected. For clothing, he had on a pair of jeans, faded to look dirty and brownish in color. His belt looked like a dusty orange sash with copper pieces all along it. For a shirt he wore a red long-sleeve shirt that seemed to end midway through his forearms. Above that was an open vest that did not look like it was ever designed to be closed. It looked silky and would certainly feel that way if touched. As far as accessories go, he had on a black string necklace that seemed to have some sort of golden broach as the decorative piece, and one silver ring with an insignia on it. "Well... What have we here? I'm to be bunking with a lovely lady, hm?" No time wasted. If there was one thing in this world that Mihael loved, it was girls. "I do hope that we'll get along real nicely. My name is Mihael McManus... Perhaps you've heard of me?" He and his brother were small-time criminals. He would not be surprised either way if she had or hadn't heard of him before. "Could I get the pleasure of such a lovely young lady's name?"

She rocked her head to the beat of the music, listening to the ever so truthful words of the singer. Images of her father flashed through her head the last time she had seen him had been a very... traumatic experience for her.
She remembered the day before the incident-- Rayne jumped and opened her eyes, ripping off her headphones in the process, as a loud thump woke her from her trance. A clap of thunder boomed as she jumped, she silently cursed herself for causing the loud noise.
There was a boy in her room. She scanned him with her blue eyes, she scooted to the edge of the bed, and pulled at the edge of her skirt nervously. He was trying to flatter her, but she wasn't fooled by his words, "I'm Rayne." She replied, "And, no I have never heard of you. Should I have?"
Sure, he was attractive, but she couldn't let some boy get in her way of mastering her powers. She was tired of her emotions getting the better of her powers. It had caused a lot of problems in her past, and even the present. She lifted a hand to move a stray strand of hair behind her ear, having an annoyed look on her face.

"How... No, interesting is an inappropriate choice of words..."

Mihael remained calm as the thunder boomed outside, his gaze relaxing afterwards as he watched the girl reposition herself and begin speaking. "I'm Rayne. And, no I have never heard of you. Should I have?" He smiled softly and lifted his right hand to his face, running his fingers up through his bangs and letting them fall where they would. Somehow this actually made his hair look somewhat more neat.

"No, I suppose not. I'm here looking for a new beginning anyway." He spoke casually, making the lie sound honest. "I guess you could say I was somewhat known a bit ago... But that's not important. What is important is that I am here now, with such a cute girl. And your name, I cannot say I've encountered another woman by that name. How unique." His lips were curled ever so slightly into a smile as he spoke. He lifted one leg up onto the bed and rested his chin upon it as he looked into her eyes. He seemed to be looking through her more than at her, his expression calm. Looking her over, he shrugged inside his head and decided that it could have been worse.

"If we're to be living together, perhaps we should get along and be friends, hm?" He extends his hand and leans forward, leaving his palm up and open for her to place her hand in. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Rayne. I would be elated to hear more about you. What do you do with your time? What music do you like?" His gaze turned a bit more serious with his following question. "And most interestingly... Why are you here? I'm interested to know what you are capable of. Your ability." His voice took on a more serious tone as well as he spoke. The eyes that once seemed to look through her now looked directly at her, stealing away her gaze with his own.

She watched as he ran his fingers through his hair, and listened as he spoke, she ignored his hand. She instead, stood and made her way to her bag and crouched rummaging through it. She pulled out a few Cd's, all were different genres most were various rock bands, a few were Japanese music.
She handed him the Cd's, "Music is my life, if you couldn't tell, there is nothing better than losing yourself in a good tune. That's how I spend my time, plus helping my mother with household chores, my step-dad doesn't like a unclean house." She said.
Why was she here? Well, it was simple. Everyone was here because they had gifts, but she got the just of what he was saying, "I can control the weather and the elements within the weather," she replied, "Electricity and water are the only elements i can manipulate, but I can make any kind of weather, to my knowledge, I've never tried anything drastic like a tornado, or tsunami." She sat again on the edge of her bed, making effort to seem interested with the edge of her shirt, before resting her eyes back on him.

"Disappointing."

He looked through the CD collection with feigned interest before stacking them up neatly and returning them to her bed. As he did so, he sat down on her bed beside her and listened to her explanation. At first he felt like it could have been interesting, but that interest quickly dwindled down as she said that she had never tried anything drastic. It felt so... unfun. Like wasted potential. "I see..." He murmured, standing up and returning to his bed. He sat down with a soft grunt before putting a smile back on. "How fascinating!" His face lit up and his voice rose as though he were discovering something fantastic. "I'm sure you've made snowstorms to get out of class before. Or maybe made it sunny when rain would have cancelled something fun, right?" He laughs softly and waves a dismissive hand. Before awaiting an answer, he replies, "Of course you have. I certainly would."

Reaching into his bag, he pulls out an analog alarm clock. The numbers were in Roman Numerals and the whole thing looked like a miniature grandfather clock with an alarm up top. It even had the ticking pendulum and everything. He rests it beside his bed on the nightstand and begins fiddling with it in silence for a few moments. He finally finished after a couple minutes with a content sigh before returning his gaze to his roommate. "Sometime I'd love for you to show me your... gift, in action. I have an interest in these abilities. Especially ones belonging to pretty girls." He grins, standing up and moving over to the door. "For now, I think I am going to go find some food. But you do have a lovely day, Rayne. I will talk to you later tonight when I return."

As he left the room, he walked back over to the entrance. He wanted to ensure that he had the way memorized, and so he did. As he walked on by, his gaze happened to turn to the doors. Outside he happened to find another girl. One that, in his eyes, actually was something to look at. She looked upset and uncomfortable about there in the sand and dust. A smile spread across his lips as he exited the building and made his way towards the girl. He hesitated none to approach her and begin speaking. "Well, hello there. You seem to be a bit lost. New here, maybe? I remember when I first showed up... Lost, scared, confused. I had no idea how to get around this place or even what I was supposed to do." He played it off as if he were a veteran here and not another newbie. His eyes of gold locked onto her snake-like eyes that seemed to interest him. They were different, peculiar. Just her image alone grabbed his curiosity. "My name is Mihael McManus. And I would be honored if you would join me for some lunch. Afterwards I will show you around, help you figure out where things are... What do you say?"

Michael was lead through the front doors of the "School" with two of the three men that had brought him there carrying his ample suitcases. He let out a breath, softly as he looked around the entrance with great displeasure. Bland. The whole place was bland, hardly any decor and with little to show that people would be living there and learning. Michael did see a few others a dark haired girl was lead back to the rooms. Michael smiled warmly in her direction in hopes of at least establishing an aquaintance.

Restlessness took grip over Michael as the woman behind the desk went on about rules that Michael was sure not to follow. His honey gold eyes roamed anywhere but at her hoping to get a grasp on what the other students where to be like. His only experience at a school with others was at highschool. He assumed it would be similar the only major difference being they'd be dorm mates as well. Michael blushed slightly at the thought. Everyone knew the shenanigans that teens and young adults got into when not under strict supervision. He was reminded though of the reason they where all there as he brushed a small white downy feather from his sleeve. They all had powers there. His curiosity increased as he thought of the possibility of meeting others with very different and maybe even similar abilities as his own.

"Did you hear me, young man? Your room is 115A"

Michael blinked and nodded, then he leaned his elbow on the desk. "Am I going to have roomates? I don't do well with people who snore or have bad body odor. So.....if someone comes in and you think they might maybe have one of those..."

"The bedding arrangements are permanent, Mr. Haddock." The woman said, quite unimpressed.

Michael exhaled. "Right.....ooook. To Room 115A"

The two men looked at each other and put Michael's bags on the floor. "We've got other students to pick up."
With that they turned and walked back out the doors, one of them chuckling audibly and shaking his head.

"Great. Sure. Thanks....I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" Michael called after them. He huffed, again and took up his backpack, putting it over his shoulders before gathering the two heavy suitcases in both slender arms. He grunted and trembled before heading down the hall muttering about the ridiculousness of it all.

It seemed the rooms where arranged like in a hotel with all the 100 rooms on the first floor of the dorm wing . Michael passed all the rooms that came before 115, struggling with his heavy bags as he went. "This better be good. So far this place seems little more than a glorified....prison..."

Michael stood before his room. He looked either way down the hall at the others just getting situated.

Rayne watched as he got up and left, as she shut the door, she felt static prickle her skin in the air. It was strong electricity it just felt like tingling, all over her skin, and whomever else was in the room of course. Well, that was peculiar she thought to herself, wondering if he was serious or just one of those boys that always acted like that. She had known plenty in her lifetime.. until of course her powers messed it up.
No one wanted a 'freak'. She sat until her stomach grumbled, and decided it was almost lunch time and made her way to the cafeteria, glancing at each 'Do Not Enter' sign. She came to the area marked 'Mess Hall', and opened the door. It was a simple, metal chairs, -bad if she got upset of scared- dim lighting, there were a few 'security agents' lingering along the wall. She rested her eyes on the food line, and stood in line. Once she came to the front the man sloshed some disgusting slop into her bowl, and she grabbed a soda at the edge of the counter. She threw away the bowl before sitting down in the back of the cafeteria to observe everything, and everyone.
She sat with her back against to wall, so no one could come up behind her, and startle her. She sighed and opened the soda taking a small drink, her eyes rested on Miheal, he was sitting with another girl, Figures, she thought. She had a feeling he would have been messing with her, not really into her. It was okay though, it didn't matter. She moved her eyes to see the girl sitting with him, she studied her quickly Her eyes were... pinkish? was she seeing that right? Weird. She took another sip, and slipped on her headphones.

Utrien was deposited inside a room by a burly guard after he tried to escape several times from the car. They would have incapacitated him, were it not for the bird trying to claw out their eyes and fingers, and Utriens disturbing change of personality every time they tried.

He was wriggling like a child around his grip before they brought him in. Saying how "This is unfair." and "Where are the plants."

Finally getting fed up with the mans whining, the guard which he found out was Ramone, told him. " We're in the mess hall. Go out and talk to people. Just stop complaining or i won't have any choice but to get you to the principal. And you don't want that, trust me."

Giving a sigh of frustration, Utrien looked at Ramone with an irritated but pleading face. He looked around for a person to talk to after being threatened, and since Ramone was still looking at him. He saw a girl sitting by herself a good distance away from everyone else. Thinking this was a good start, and that even if he was ignored he could get silence, he walked over to her.

"Hello, may i sit here?" his eyes are steady and hidden under the long strand of hair. His voice carry a polite yet awkward air around it. "Also have you seen any animals or plants here? i was hoping they were being cold and joked that there were none."

It must have been a surprise to see a shaggy haired person suddenly sit down next to you. Specially one that looks ruffled and with a bird on their shoulders.

Rayne slowly took off her headphones as a boy approached her, "Yeah, go ahead and sit!" she replied, giving him a small smile. She noted his shaggy hair, and his shy demeanor, she was going to befriend him. She lifted her bangs out of her eyes, and met hey blue ones with his, "Not that I have seen, except for us people here, we are animals also. I am Rayne, whats your name?" She said and held out her hand.

She hoped he wasn't like Mihael, but he already seemed very sweet. She remembered to press pause on her MP3 as another song came on that was a bit louder than the last and she could clearly make out the lyrics of a fast paces Japanese song. She slipped the Mps under thigh after she pressed pause, and slid her headphone around her neck.

He smiled, she seemed like a great person to meet. Although his face fell as he heard her say there weren't any of his home here. he gave a sigh and sat.

When she introduced herself, Utrien straightened himself and clasped her hand and gently shook it. "My name is Utrien. It's great to meet you, albeit in a rather unfortunate circumstance," he spoke in a relaxed, slow manner that gives you a comforting feeling.

A rather unfortunate circumstance, indeed she thought to herself, thinking of the razor wire, and and cement walls.. another crack of thunder was heard from outside, along with rain on the only window of the cafeteria, one of the only windows she had seen in the whole building besides in their rooms. She bit the edge of her lip, she knew it must be her causing the weather, with a mix of emotions flooding her brain.
"What is your power?" She asked him, she was quite curious because he seemed fairly normal. Except for the shyness, but a lot of people were shy, including her sometimes. He had a comforting effect though, and she felt at ease with him right away. She offered him some soda, she wasn't one to worry about germs.

Utrien leaned back and extended his arm. A gray tentacle emerged from his wrist, it looked like it was tethered to his his skin by soft flexible muscle. The appendage moved to the side then darted to pick up the soda. He laid his arm on the table and the tentacle tipped the soda back so he can take a drink.

After taking a sip, he returned the soda and smiled. "Sorry, it's just i find that it helps when i show a demonstration. I'm a tentacula. A person who could produce extra appendages from their body that can act like an extra arm. Although i'm a bit more advanced as i can control how thick, thin, long, or short the tentacles could be. So far i can only make one as thick as that man's thigh over there," Utrien pointed his chin at a buff body guard. He didn't want to share anymore so he decided to direct a question towards Rayne. "What about you, what your powers?" he asked with a tilt of his head.

Rayne watched in a mix of horror and fascination as he grew a tentacle. "Sorry, it's just i find that it helps when i show a demonstration. I'm a tentacula. Rayne said smiling, she wondered what it would be like if she could do that... she would have probably freaked out the first time she sprouted a tentacle. She laughed inwardly. "I can control and manipulate the elements of the weather, Water electric and air, Hence why it is raining when earlier the sky was clear as day, I can't control it." she sighed.

Desire watched with mild disgust as Mihael ate the putrid food with relative ease. He laughed, "Just like good ol' high school."

She curled her lip in a grimace, "if this is what school food is like then I'm glad I was homeschooled." Desire admitted, sending a solemn look down at her meal. "I'm not sure how I'm going to survive if this is all they'll be serving. This doesn't even look like real food." She picked up the fork and shifted the 'food' around on her plate. It had already gone cold and the consistency reminded Dess of old sponges.

Mihael took his attention away from the food and looked up at her in a way that made Desire feel somewhat vulnerable, as though he was looking through her, and she shifted in her seat to try and rid herself of the feeling. "I'm rather interested in learning a bit about you. Where you're from, maybe? What you like to do in your spare time. Maybe some favorite musicians, small talk, really.. But most of all, I'm fascinated by the people here. What they are capable of... I'd love to know why you're here. In this... place. I've met a girl who can control the weather. How peculiar is that, hm?This place is really quite fascinating. You'll learn more as you stay, I'm sure..."

Mihael's words surprised her, though she didn't quite know why. Desire had known that there would be other people with powers at the school, but she hadn't really dwelt on it that much. A girl who could control the weather? Amazing. She found herself looking at Mihael and the others in the room differently all of a sudden. There was a pair sitting not too far away by the only window in the room, what could they do? She turned her gaze back to Mihael's striking gold eyes, what could he do?

"I'm sure this place is fascinating, what with all of the people with..abilities here. What exactly is it that you do?"

Cindy Mayes
"Let's make some new friends!"

"Hey! Why are you out here?! Get back inside!" A guard yelled out from inside. Cindy sighed, as she got her cardigan from the ground and went back inside.

"Um, I'll see you later, possibly!" yelled out to him, waving goodbye. She shut the doors, blinking several times to get used to the dark. She got her luggage and walked up the stairs, to see a corridor lined with cell doors, each with keys and a number. "A113... it should be on the left hand side..." She mumbled to herself quietly, almost inaudible to anyone else. She opened the door, to see a small, cramped room with two beds, two dressers and a small window. To the left of the room was a door to a bathroom. She looked at this place with shock. "It's so tiny! How do I move? How do I walk?! The only good thing about this room is that the walls are soundproof! My bath was bigger then this!" She felt like she could burst into tears, until she had an idea.

She got up and looked at the smaller of the two beds, measuring it with her eyes. She think it will fit through the door. She focuses all of her mind of moving the bed outside the dorm. She focuses all of her power into this one movement, and the bed slowly moves out of the room, taking one step at a time. It was working quite well, until Cindy heard the sound of a bird, and started thinking about the bird species of that bird. She started to lose focus, and the mattress shrank and started flying around the dormitory, mimicking the sounds of the bird! The bed itself turned itself into a different kind of bird, she could tell by the sound it made.

Oh my gosh! That's never happened before... At least I have more space. I'm okay with this. If the mattress shrinks, it shrinks. At least it's out of the way. It will eventually turn back into a bed, so the school won't even know what happened. She thought to herself. She stretched, and went on her way. The mattress and the bed perched on her shoulders, cooing at her like she was her mother, because she kind of is. She decided to go to the mess hall, as lunch was being served.

She looks around the mess hall. She gets her food and starts looking for people to sit with. She decided to sit with two other people.

"Hello, is it okay if I sit here? I'm Cindy Mayes..." She said to both of them, smiling cheerfully.

She sat at her desk, black hair over her shoulders, a phone to her ear,
"Yes. The little bastards are all here. We have the gate locked, of course, and all security measures have been put into place."
She spoke to someone on the other line, brown eyes staring at the records of all the children currently on the phone.
"Yes sir. All have been documented, and more are due to arrive tomorrow and the next. Yes sir. Goodbye sir."
She hung up the phone and stood, walking out the door into the hallway, he pointy black heels making a loud Click...Click...Click...
She wore a black pencil skirt and a white blouse, with a dark blood-red vest. She glared as she walked down, she hated wretched snot-nosed little brats. Their whining and partying, their sneaking out and graffiti... Everything about them was absolutely disgusting. She walked into the cafeteria, glaring at every student that looked her way. She made it to the center, and stood there, observing everyone. Looking through the sea of faces.

"I'll go wherever you want, doll."

She was beautiful, powerful, and he was beginning to figure out how she works. How to properly speak to her, to learn her patterns and what she prefers. At this point, he wasn't sure if he wanted to use that knowledge to make a pawn, though. Maybe a partner, someone to work with him... Oh, and his brother. That, too. That was certainly exactly where his thoughts were. He was looking forward to learning more about this girl. About what she was capable of. She had an ability that was worth respecting, one that was possibly on par with the McManus twins'. He would smile in earnest back at her before leaving his tray and standing up. "Yeah, there are two of us. Though we look the same, trust me, our behaviors are a bit different. I feel like he would find you interesting enough to be civil at the very least..."

Once he rose, he lifted his arms up above his head in a stretch and let out a soft groan as he did so. Making his way over to her suitcase, he would pick it up himself and begin walking with the assumption that she was following. He would turn his head and smile at her as he walked, pointing down the hallway as he would mention to follow him there. Of course though, someone would come through and block his way. She was dressed sharp, like she was in control of the area. The look in her eyes was one of disgust and malice. The look on her face... was a challenge. His expression became smug as he set down the suitcase and approached the woman, holding a hand up to Desire to have her stay.

"Well, well, look who showed up. You seem like a bigwig. In charge here?" His eyes were filled with an emotion that could only be deemed as playful, testing. "Thanks for showing up! My name is Mihael McManus. And I really want to thank you for inviting me to this beautiful establishment of yours." His words dripped painfully with sarcasm. If sarcasm were daggers, there would be half a dozen right in her. "But tell me... What would make you make the mistake of showing your face? Don't you know that many of the students here hate this place? How many of them probably hate you personally?" He made a few "tsk" sounds with his tongue, raising his arms and lowering his head with a smirk, shaking that smirking head of his. "Seems a little unwise... Not that I would do anything. No, I'm not so bold."

Yet.

There was quite a commotion when the head mistress made an appearance. Rayne looked her over she seemed stern, like someone or something had pissed her off immensely. Static prickled her skin as she listened to his speech,

"We don't need to be prisoners. No, we could become the wardens. We could become the best we can be without false lies of 'school' and mastery. You all know this is a prison. SO rise up! Be the masters of your own fate!"
He spoke with... what was that? Taunting-ness? Was he... doing this on purpose? She shook her head in disbelief and rose to stand behind Mihael,
"You are just trying to show off, knock it off. We are all here because we want to learn to master our abilities." She said, glaring at him. He was being an asshole just to prove a point.
"Besides, it isn't technically her school. It's the governments, be pissed off at them not the ones who are just following orders." She replied, she could feel the electricity course through her, it kinda tickled. Using your powers, just to show off and try to make it seem like your in charge is irresponsible and its people like you, who abuse their powers, why we are sent here in the first place." She ranted on, it really irked her that she was roomed with him now.
She hadn't realized other people were so careless with their powers, maybe he had done something before. He had asked her if she knew about him before.

Cindy Rayne
"This is getting hectic..."

"I am Rayne, Nice to meet you." The girl replied nicely to her. She was very kind, as she had a sincere smile upon her face. The Mattress-bird landed on Cindy's shoulder, rubbing its soft face on her cheek. When she spoke, she had a kind of electrifying kind of way of speaking.
"How old are you, if you don't mind my asking?" She smiled at her.

"Oh yes! I'm 16, I don't mind my child-like appearance though. I'll grow up eventually." She laughed at herself, picking at the food that she was 100% sure it wasn't actually edible for humans. Bed-Bird liked pecking at the sponge-like jelly, though.

She looked at the opening doors of the Mess hall, opened by a woman, formally dressed in a pencil skirt, and a dress shirt. She was beautiful, but she could sense that she wasn't the nicest of people. She had this... Aura around her. A boy was challenging her, which slightly irked Cindy, as the woman had done nothing but walk into the Mess Hall. She continued to watch from a distance. She thought about getting involved, as it was getting out of hand. The Mattress-bird started chirping quietly on her shoulder. Rayne got out of her seat, and started talking to the boy as if she knew him. She probably did, but Cindy isn't going to listen in anymore. She knew that if any more people got involved, the guards would have to get involved with this, so she decided to ignore this, and carry on with talking.

She smiled to the boy with the blonde hair, shrugging off the drama going on in the middle of the room.

She was in the corridor leading to the Mess hall when Maya Heard the commotion inside. She ran towards the door and slipped in to the side of the people. Rather than get involved, she watched the showdown from the side. She saw a tall, intimidating boy challenging a pretty formally dressed woman. From what she got her name was Agatha and she was in charge of them. The boy was making a big deal about becoming masters and rising up. Maya didn’t really understand why anyone would be against the people who were here to help them. Sure their methods weren’t the greatest and the building wasn’t very friendly but the woman didn’t seem at fault for all this.

Other students also watched and some ignored it, except one girl who confronted the boy. It took a lot of self control from Maya not to shout something like “You go!” as the brave girl stood up to him and pointed out his wrongs. Then again she hoped they’d all stop fighting as soon as possible. Having such a tense atmosphere could cause problems. Maya was sure if everyone just got along the experience of being locked up here would be a lot more enjoyable. For now all she could do was wait to see how things played out.

Her stomach grumbled and the girl decided to forget the drama for a second. She got something resembling food from a lady in a very foul mood. At this point she was too hungry to care about its content and looked for a place to sit. She looked for a place to sit and spotted a cute girl and a kind looking blonde boy. “Hi! I hope I’m not disturbing your conversation, could I sit with you two?,” she smiled at them, “Things sure are lively around here ,right?”
