Full Name: Helena Alys Norrevinter

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Mirror Type/Artifact Used: Small stuffed rabbit with black fur and red buttons for eyes, stitches on its head and across one arm's base.

Title (if applicable): The Rabbit

Description: Helena is a young woman who does not appear very dangerous at a glimpse. The opposite in fact. While her family often ended up quite tall and statuesque, Helena turned out an unintimidating 5'2. Her build is slim, with light curves on the hips and chest rather than any defined muscle and her face is heart-shaped and girlish, with a set of wide, blue-grey eyes. She has a mop of untidy, red hair, which falls for her lower back. She has very pale skin that is quite prone to burning.

Description of Mirrored:
Image

The Black Rabbit is a large, swift, shadowy beast, very large and capable of feats of great explosive strength and even greater speed. It is often adorned with large numbers of random objects on chains and chords hanging off its neck, tail and spines. It can leap and move very well and will bite and claw at its targets.

Personality: Unorthodox would be the polite way to describe Hel....weird would be the less polite way. She appears a bit peculiar. Many say that Helena seems to live in a world of her own, and in a way that could be said to be true. Helena does not view the world like others do, and her reactions are often seen as inappropriate by those around her.

Her behaviour is often thought of as weird, though does seem to follow some sort of logic…in Helena’s mind at any rate…it just tends not to be a level of logic that anyone else has ever encountered before. While it might not initially be clear, she is painfully shy and awkward around people, mainly due to an acute awareness of how people view her. This tendency to assume others think the worst of her often makes her seem rather aloof. Getting past the initial strangeness of the young woman, she is a pleasant, highly intelligent individual. She appreciates the friendship of others, even if it’s not always openly visible, and is very dedicated to those that she is close to.

She tends to let her mind wander frequently, and doesn’t often commit to things, her actions and her appearance often making people assume that she is rather weak-minded, or even suffering from mental illness. This is not true. Her outward delicacy hides a fire or great proportions. She pursues things with a dogged determination that can be both impressive and unnerving.

Helena is not too easily moved into fighting. She tends to put up with a great deal before losing her temper. That being said, when pushed too far, Hel’s temper is completely explosive in its short bursts. Her Mirror hints towards a volatile fire hidden under the surface.

Skills:
- Helena is an impressive artist and can recreate things from memory very vividly.

-She is comparatively strong for her size and build.

Weaknesses:
- Due to some injuries received at an early age, Helena has some long-term damage that can hamper her performance. She has restricted movement in her left shoulder, and has several metal pins and plates in her bones in various places. Those that know Helena can take advantage of these weak spots to incapacitate the girl quite easily.

Brief History:

Helena is the eldest child of Kora Norrevinter, one of the organization's well-known Hostile summoners, by the name of Kora, or The Bear. Miss Bear was, and in many ways still is, a terrifying combatant who headed up plenty of missions for the Sinking Dawn. Until, one days she disappeared, and returned six months later, evidently with child. The woman refusing to elaborate anything on her absence, she went on to have a daughter, a girl whom the named Helena, the child of an unknown father, inheritor of her mother's messy red hair and surprising strength.

And, unfortunately, inheritor of the many enemies she had made in her time with the Sinking Dawn.

One day, when Helena was about five years of age, she was out with her mother when they found themselves under attack. Mirror-users with a grudge who sought to break the Bear emotionally where they could not physically, and a Warped in the shape of a massive dog seized the young girl's arm in its jaws and tore off into the woods.

In the time that it took Kora to find the summoner and skillfully snap his neck, the beast had dragged Helena away, tearing into her and smashing her head against a rock, and her mother caught up to the now-dead beast she discovered a scene of terrible carnage.

As a result of the attack, the girl was clinically dead for about fifteen minutes. Her survival, even with the help of a Kind mirror, was by an extremely small margin. She was unconscious for the best part of several months after the event.
When she eventually awoke, it was clear that Helena was…different from before. Her power appeared to have been strengthened to a considerable degree, but it also seemed to have affected her own mentality. She didn’t seem to think or perceive things in the same way as others. Indeed it almost seemed like she was a bit out of sync with everyone else. It meant that she often had a hard time from there while growing up, often being written off as being mentally deficient or insane.

The Adherents suggested to Kora that training might help the girl focus better. Which might have been true, but mostly was probably the fertile ground that the traumatic past of the child present for mirror use.

Initially she came across as something of a hopeless case training-wise. She would daydream, she would lose interest, she seemed to be unaffected by punishment or reward. She was passed around trainers quite frequently. Suddenly however, at age eleven she began to demonstrate a level of skill that no-one anticipated. She rapidly caught up with her peers, and was no longer known as the kid nobody wanted to deal with. Her ability that had caused her to be so inattentive had been harnessed to allow her to accomplish things no normal fighter would be capable of. From that Helena began to carve a niche of sorts in the organization, and started to become known in her own right as The Rabbit.
