xxxxx|| Description || Having a creamy pale complexion, naturally dark hair (But platinum blond when dyed), which is oftentimes shaved on either side of their head; in an undercut fashion. Sharp features; and an often intimidating demeanor, Emeris has taken on features after both their mother and father. There is an undeniable aspect of masculinity among their features, but Emeris was never bothered by it. In fact, there is something handsomely dark but beautiful about the way they look. People tend to say that their eyes can be hypnotic, a slightly dull mix of moss green and honey. Holding your gaze until you break eye contact. Emeris is by no means unattractive, least by most people's standards. But Emeris sees themself as nothing more than average and carries themselves about to the beat of their own drum, never really caring how they're viewed by others.
Emeris does have countless tattoos that they have garnered over the years. Most of which are covered due to their choice of clothing, but most notably are the ones that are visible half the time being the one behind their ear, and the three on either forearms. As for piercings, Emeris has 8mm gauges in either earlobe, and a small platinum hoop nose ring that they've had since they were sixteen. In terms of scarring or any odd marks, Emeris has far too many to count, whether from combat and the numerous injuries they have sustained over the years. Their body having literally been blown and torn apart more times than someone can count on both hands. Emeris' body has best been described as a maze of scars, one never being prettier than the next. They're a dark and grisly reminder of what Emeris has since become, and of the endless torment they go through due to their powers they were given.

xxxxxCompared to almost everyone in Atlas, Emeris is overtly aware that they are a SuperHero. They often have conversations with what Emeris has referred to as their two internal monologues. Notably, Emeris has said that "Their 'Logical voice' would probably appear in yellow captions with Comic Sans font, and their more 'Psychotic Voice' would probably appear in white captions with the Typewriter Serif font." Whatever the hell that means, is just about anyone's guess. But many have learned to just accept the quirky behavior and move on.
Emeris is known for having an accelerated healing factor, which not only prevents them from being permanently injured through enhanced cell regeneration throughout their body, thusly being able to defy death itself, but it has also caused psychosis and mental instability. As their neurons are also affected by the accelerated regeneration. It is thought that while their psychoses are a handicap, they are also one of their greatest assets as they make Emeris an extremely unpredictable opponent. Aegis have noted that such a case causes Emeris to be not only a spontaneous opponent, but also makes them incredibly dangerous as well. If no one can predict their next move before it's too late, there could be one wrong move and it could all come crashing down.
Emeris has also notably taken on the self given mantle of 'Merc With a Mouth', which others have said sounds rather familiar, but Emeris has always been quick to dismiss those claims.
Contrary to what others may think, Emeris actually has a strong sense of core morality. While their general actions and ways of going about things can be considered violent and pointless or even selfish, as they're usually seen stealing items and money whenever they take care of a heist. While in reality, every time, Emeris has ended up either donating the money to charities or funds at hospitals to help in research for cures to diseases, especially cancer.
For those that do know Emeris though, that know the true Emeris behind the mask and behind the insanity, know that they are incredibly loyal and kind, so much so to a fault; if just not under several layers of walls. Emeris has had to guard themself ever since they were young, having to fight for themselves and others. Having to put their life on the line countless times for others. Because by the end of the day, Emeris knows that no matter what, they'll always come back when others won't. And that's just something they won't allow if they can help it.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

xxxxx|| Enhanced Regeneration || Due to her extraordinary healing powers they had been born with, Emeris can regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of their cellular structure at a rate far greater than that of an ordinary human, and other supers alike. For example, they can regrow severed limbs or vital organs. But at a slower rate, depending on what the injury is, and what it was caused by. A bullet or stab wound can heal itself within a few seconds to a few minutes, but regrowing a limb or organ(s) can take up to a few hours or even days. On top of their ability to regenerate, Emeris also possesses superhuman levels of stamina. Their strength, agility, and reflexes are also beyond the natural limits of the human body. Oftentimes simply caused by intense adrenaline rushes or even emotional distress.
xx
xxxxx|| Demi-Immortality || Also due to the high rate at which Emeris finds themself regenerating, in essence, Emeris is able to come back from the dead when they do die. As to quote Isimir themself, "Death and me just don't stick, ya feel me?". Depending on the severity of their perceived death, it can take anywhere from a few minutes, to even a few hours. But they always come back, and the wounds will have mostly healed by the time Emeris reawakens. They're most notably said that every time Emeris dies, they experience intense headaches, entire body aches and are incredibly hungry afterwards, as their heightened metabolism rate is what also helps drive their powers. Seeing as their cellular structure and rate of which they can heal, relies heavily on their metabolism as a whole. Which usually means Emeris has to constantly be eating to support their body.
xx
xxxxx|| Induced Insanity || The true downside to Emeris' otherwise impressive and often-times terrifying powers, is that the amount of times Emeris has died, and due to their past experiences over the years, Emeris' sanity has almost entirely been demolished. By multiple professionals and even scientists at Aegis; for all intents and purposes, Emeris is clinically insane in every sense of the word. Often seen talking to absolutely no-one, or seen as if they're talking to an invisible audience. Due to their lack of general sanity, Emeris is often the one to take risks that others would never think of, or even be able to do, as well as their powers allowing them to do things others would literally die attempting to do. While their lack of genuine sanity can be seen as an immense detriment, it has also been viewed as their greatest weapon.
xx
xxxxx|| Strengths || Physical Combat; Emeris' primary form of combat is using two katana's, Firearms; Emeris also has two pistols in their arsenal of weapons, Heightened stamina and speed; while Emeris doesn't possess super-speed they are incredibly fast and agile on their feet
xx
xxxxx|| Weaknesses || Physically numb (Emeris often-times doesn't feel pain; meaning half the time Emeris doesn't even realize they're gravely injured before it's too late), Reckless; Emeris often-times makes reckless choices without thinking of the after-affects, Lack of sanity; this is their truly glaring weakness as it leads to more trouble and danger than anything else

But the truth behind the person who dawns the mask, is much much darker than anyone would ever know. Even one of their most trusted friends, Markus, didn't know of their full past. And when he did, it cost him his life. And after everything they've endured, Isimir would prefer to keep it that way. If no one knows who you truly are, or even believe you're a myth, then no one can ever truly harm you again, right?
What even Isimir remembers, is fractured at best. Typically coming in bursts of nightmares and dreams, which usually result in them waking up in the middle of the night, in a cold sweat. Memories come back to Isimir in flashes over time, but with how badly damaged their psyche is, not even Isimir is sure if they can trust what they supposedly know. The torture and pain they had been subjected to, by the very hands of their own parents. But, when Isimir isn't donning the mask of the troublesome, up to no good anti-hero that everyone knows them to be. Isimir actually lives a rather mundane life.
Emeris was able to borrow money from their parents, if one can even call them that, and had built the bar that has become simply known as Envy, from the very ground up. It's a simple business, but it is something that has somehow kept Emeris grounded to reality. When at work, it's almost like another person is in control, the persona of Isimir is nowhere to be seen, or even hinted at. While at Envy, Emeris is known as the slightly awkward, but kind and out-going bartender who is typically always flirting with a pretty face. Or throwing out some drunk asshole who got a little too handsy with another patron. Next to no one knows the double life that Emeris leads, and the only one who did, had been killed nearly ten years ago by Emeris' own parents. They claim it was a terrible accident, but Emeris knows it wasn't. They know something is wrong, they can't explain why. But something is just wrong about just everything. Everyone at Aegis calls Isimir crazy (Including many of the other Heroes), and lately, even Emeris has begun to question if they may actually be truly losing their mind after all...
