A single black raven darted through the trees, it was silent as it went flying like an arrow, the other birds seemed to avoid this new comer as best they could and let it pass. It did not take it long for the bird to pass through the woods and into the more open ground of the mansion, from there it flew onto the mansion itself and around it once before heading through and open window and then into the dining hall, no doubt it would have been noticed as it landed at one end of the hall, the bird gave a single loud croak before it was enveloped in a green mist which seemed to leek out its eyes and cover its whole body. The mist grew until it was the hight of a man and then dissipated, in its place was a black robed man carrying a large elder wood staff, he blinked as his now human eyes adjusted to the light and looked around at the present members of his family, a crooked smile on his face as he spoke with a voice that sounded oddly similar to a ravens. "Well I'm glad to see that the food has already started to be eaten it seems."

"Uncle Conway, how lovely of you to join us. I see you're doing well. Your entrance kind of startled me." Falder says with a chuckle. While Falder didn't really like the aura of death that necromancy brings, he learned to deal with it. Everyone's coming in at an awfully slow pace. I hope it picks up soon. Falder says in his mind.

Conway smiled at Falder and started to move around the table to where a spare seat was. "I am doing well enough as I can be all things considered, and how have you been? I think the last time I saw you was during your own Sceta ceremony was it not?" He managed to ease himself into the seat with his staff resting on one of the arms. "Have I missed the rest of the pleasantries?"

"And what a fun time that was." Falder says, remembering his own ceremony. It had gone like he had expected it to, nothing overly fantastic. But it was still exciting. "I've been great, thanks for asking. Oh, say hi Chrysy." Again, at the mention of her name, Chrysy waves a leaf in Conway's direction. "I just met my cousins, Xori and Nazarite. It's always fun to meet more of the family." Falder responds to Conway's question with his normal beaming expression, giving Chrysy another bit of tofu. She really liked the stuff, for some reason. Probably because it gave her the nutrients she wasn't getting since she wasn't rooted.

Caizer then notices Conway and makes a good little chuckle. "Hello brother! it is nice seeing you here! it is little old Naza's Scete ceremony!" says Caizer with open arms. He then hears knocking on the door. "Another? wow". He then goes up to the door and opens it up. He then sees Charley at the door, she was maybe the eldest of the cousins. "Ahh! Charlotte! it is nice for you to be here! your uncle Conway just 'flew' in a few minutes ago! now come, we are eating dinner in the dining hall!" says Caizer. He then walks back to the dining hall and takes his seat again. He then looks at his brother with a grin inside his hood. "Now brother, how about some food? you must be hungry from flying around as a bird...". Nazarite then makes a little chuckle and smiles at her uncle.

Well at least she wasn't being reprimanded for being late. That was good. She simply smiled at her uncle who always seemed to love using her full name. Sometimes Charley wondered why he did that. Perhaps it was because Charley was more of a boy's name than a girl's? It didn't matter to Charley that the nickname was more like a boy's name. She liked it much better than Charlotte. The name was too pretty, too elegant for someone for the likes of her. Except, instead of voicing her opinions, she kept quiet about the whole "Charlotte" thing and nervously laughed, "Sorry, I'm late . . . I hope I didn't miss anything too important," Charley stated. However, if Uncle Conway had just gotten a while ago she couldn't have missed much. Well, that was a hope, and she was sticking to it.

Looking around, Charley noticed that she hasn't really met any of these people, either that or her memory had begun to fade. When people aged and she hadn't seen them in a while, she had a hard time remembering who was who. Maybe they would just introduce themselves to her. That's all she could hope for after all, besides, she'd rather shove her mouth full of food. Stupidly, she had forgotten to eat before she had left, and now she could feel her stomach growl. As she heard her stomach make high pitched noises, she turned red by embarrassment.

Looking at her uncles she smiled in her more "childish" persona. How long had it been since she'd seen them? She couldn't remember. What really mattered if she was allowed to eat. Trying to hide behind her bangs, Charley turned red once again and asked, "Is it okay if I start eating . . . I kind of forgot to eat before I left the Big Apple . . ."

Conway smiled at his brother and half rose from his seat. "Caizer, its been too long, glad to see you kept the old house in a good state since I last saw it." He then sat back down and looked across the table at Nazarite. "Ah so you must be my niece who has brought us all here. Tell me what path of magic do you study? My brother has hardly been keeping me up to date with the matters here in den huset." He then paused and noticed he had finished that sentence in Danish. "I'm sorry you'll have to forgive me there, its been rather a while since I have spoken in english to someone with a pulse, I meant to say 'here in the house'." He also gave his brother a sideways look and tapped the side of his staff as the ravens eyes glowed faintly before turning away again. He was most surprised by this newcomer, presumably another niece of his, what really interested him was the mention of where she had come from. "The Big Apple? The name rings a bell though I doubt it means a physical apple surely?"

Nazarite then looks at Conway with a bigger smile. "I study the cosmic magic! looking at the stars is so beautiful!" says Naza. She then looks at another cousin. She then makes a wormhole by her seat and another near Charley. She then jumps in the wormhole and lands next to Charley. "Hi there! I am your cousin Nazarite!". She then shakes her hand and jumps back in the wormhole. She then snaps her fingers and the wormholes vanish. Caizer then looks at his brother and makes a quite laugh. "Why yes brother, I sure have kept this house up for some time! now touch the plate and it will serve you". He said that last part with a little giggle. He then turns to Charley and says "And you are allowed to eat of course! just touch the plate and the food will appear!". He then walks to his seat at the dining hall and continues eating.

It was all rather . . . suffocating. Her "normal" self couldn't handle it anymore . . . she needed someone stronger. She needed her "flamboyant" persona to come and deal with her family. Most of these she realizes probably never even met. Quickly looking at her uncle Conway, she scoffed, "It's New York City of course. Obviously you either don't remember me or we haven't met, Charley Aengus. Freelance photographer."

When a girl came out a wormhole, Charley could have sworn someone drugged her, or this was all a dream. The girl shook hands with her then left back into her original seat. Stupidly, Charley continued to stare at her hand her cousin Nazarite was way too crazy for her own good. Did this girl even go out ever? It seemed like she lacked true people skills with how excited she is. Again, Charley scoffed her name, "I'm your cousin Charley."

When she heard about how to eat, she almost retorted at her uncle, except somehow she was able to close her mouth. As she touched the plate food appeared. The food looked seriously fancy. Fancier than she had ever eaten before, she was used to the fast food chains in New York City and she rarely even ate at expensive restaurants, like she even had time to enjoy the expensive tastes of the fabulous city. The only time she could have indulged in the fancy food was if she was ever asked out . . . which never happened.

Before even eating her food, she played with it, she didn't know why, maybe she was just hesitant on eating the food. Maybe she was afraid that they would poison her to get rid of her. However, Charley wasn't sure about the latter since she rarely ever saw her extended family, so it was impossible to even have any enemies in this family. As she ate, she observed how everyone seemed rather too comfortable with everyone else. It was . . . unsettling.
