Powers: Darkness Manipulation: The user can create, control, manipulate, materialize and summon darkness. By itself, darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but by accessing a dimension of dark energy it can be channeled to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: one can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create a variety of constructs and weapons and, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows.
Weakness:
- Is limited to either creating darkness without ability to control it, or be only able to control existing one.
- Has to be in sync with darkness, whether their own or the source of their power.
- He runs the chance of becoming affected/corrupted through extended exposure.
- Light Manipulation and Light Generation are especially effective against this power. However it should be noted that darkness can overpower light as well.
Strengths:
- His quick tongue
- He's very observant
- He's fast (in speed)
Flaws:
- He's sarcastic
- He's blunt
- His body language tells all
Personality: Charley his bluntly sarcastic. He hates beating around the bush and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Because he's like this, he's not easily embarrassed either. If someone were to be talking about something indecent, he wouldn't mind contributing to the conversation as long as he was involved. He has quite the temper on him. Actually it'd be more accurate to say he's a stick of dynamite lit from both ends.
He doesn't believe that he's the perfect person. Far from it in fact. This is the reason he feels the needed to practice his skills. He wants to get better and he feels he's not good enough unless he's the best. Of course, he can never be the best though. He is only number three after all. This fact pisses him off beyond all belief to the point that he doesn't really like the two in front of him. He wants the gold trophy, not the bronze one.
When Charley isn't fussing over the small details of thinks (like grammatical mistakes) he's usually sitting and people watching. He finds this activity relaxing. He also notices that it helps him learn about how people act and why. He was once able to piece together a stranger's entire story by just watching him.

History: Charley doesn't have a grave history. Only one bad thing has ever happened to him. He had a happy family life up until the age of five when his mother walked out on him and his father because she and his father were always arguing. Charley didn't mind since he always saw her for a week during summer and that was enough for him. He would always visit his aunt (his father's sister) since she lived a few houses away from them. She was where he went if he had a bad day since she was the type of person not to judge and made you feel safe. And once a month, his uncle might happen to pop in and hang out with him for a day.
This was where that one bad memory lays. At the age of 12 Charley was spending the day at his uncle's house because his father had work and his aunt was sick. So he went to his uncles. He didn't have many friends at the time and actually hated most the people in his school. His uncle had happened to be drinking a lot that day. He and his wife had just been in a fight and she walked out on him. So Charley decided to comfort him. His father had always told him to stay away from his uncle if he was drunk, but Charley didn't see the harm in comforting a sad family member. That night, his uncle had raped and beat him right there in his living room. If his uncle's wife hadn't come back to grab some things, Charley could have ended up dead. She took him to the hospital and that was the last time he ever saw his uncle.
Charley doesn't mope about it or use that story to his advantage. In fact he just decides to ignore that ever happened to him. When he was forced into counselling, he had refused to speak about the matter saying nothing happened. Though that was clearly a lie. Since he'd been so stubborn, he'd been released from counselling and that matter was never spoken in front of him again. It was taboo.
Charley was able to make a few friends once he got into high school. Though he rarely hung out with them because he preferred to be alone. It was around this point in time that his father would come how to his son just sleeping on top of the room, hidden under the shade of the big oak tree that was in the yard. He'd never grown out of this habit. So now, any time he needs to think or wants to be alone, he goes on top of the room, puts in music, and lays there for hours.
Other: He used to live in France for quite a bit of his life. No longer has the accent though.
