β€ Theatre β€
An old passion, Jacob has 'performed' since he was in the simple, cheesy Elementary school plays his parents were forced to go to. Now, he's grown to a weekly meeting in downtown, at an older theatre.
β€ Music β€
Hand him any type of string instrument and he can play you anything you wish to hear. He loves listening to music, trying to make his own, and playing instruments, even though he's sure his wife is tired of hearing them.
β€ His Wife β€
There is nothing in this universe, or lifetime that can compare to his love for her. She's the stars on his darkest nights, and the sun on his brightest days. It's his turn to be her shooting star.
β€ Children β€
Jacob wants a family as badly as he wants to be 'found' by a talent agent. With the unexpected loss of their first child, he'll do anything to have another baby.
|Dislikes|
β Dishonesty β
The truth is so much better. Why put yourself through the nerve racking of lies?
β His Past Life β
Things not even Anastasia knows lurk there, and he's not one for opening up with the things he's kept hidden for so long.

Jacob Daniel Colinsworth was born to a Mr. Jacob Colinsworth, and a Ms. Annie Marie Lonish. They were a lovely couple, having dated through the years of highschool and college. They married before having Jacob, and stayed that way until Jacob was about.. 5 or so. From then on, he didn't have a father, just a bold mother who wasn't afraid of anyone. His father, having had a horrible drinking problem, as well as being a smoker, had driven Annie to her roots, and kicked the old bloke out into the streets. Jacob, nevertheless, had never seen him again. To make it easier, he just tells people that he's never met his own flesh and blood, so they won't poke around his family's business.
From then on, it was a normal childhood. His mother eventually gave him a sister, whom he hasn't heard from in years. They weren't the closest of siblings, giving truth to the common brother and sister rivalry rumors, but he loved his Katelyn none the less. It hurts, but if he'd seen her right in front of him today, he wouldn't even recognize her. The last time he saw her was years earlier. He was coming home to visit his mom, after a much regretted accident which he'll get to in a minute, and she was there with her, at the age of 16. She'd apologized for his losses, and then disappeared. He didn't notice until the day he left.
As for the accident, when Jacob was 18 he found out that his then 'fiance', Mandy, had found she was pregnant with his child. Being a man, he stepped up to the plate and married the girl, unofficially, in a courthouse lobby with a preacher that had nothing else better to do. Nine months later, she birthed a little boy, who had her bright green eyes, and his dark features. His name was Danny, and Jacob loved the boy with his heart, as well as his mother. He'd taken on a job down at the shipyard to make ends meet for the little family, and they rented out an apartment in Manhattan, where he'd grown up, and his mother wasn't too far away in Brooklyn. They were living the dream, as close as they could get anyway with Jacob working full-time, and Mandy working full-time as a babysitter so she wouldn't have to leave Danny in a daycare.
Everything was fine, until one day, Jacob was at work, and he got a call from the hospital. Mandy and Danny had been killed in a horrific car accident involving an 18-wheeler, and two cars. He doesn't remember much of it, since his life was then consumed by alcohol just to keep himself from feeling too much, as per his alcoholism in the present. He'd then made a getaway to his mother's, selling the apartment in Manhattan after the funeral.
He likes to say it was a part of the grief, but he doesn't know what it was. Jacob joined the military the day after the funeral, and went overseas as soon as possible. 2 1/2 years later, he was discharged for injury to his left leg. Although, it was just a flesh wound then, now it's barreled into a disability. When he returned to the States, he had no ties besides his mother. He stayed home most of the time, besides doctor appointments for his leg. If it wasn't for his mother's constant encouraging, he would have never went to college to get on with his life. To make something of himself now that he had no ties.
There, he majored in the Arts, and minoring in theatre classes as well as music. He met his Anastasia there, and his life turned around. It had been nearly 3 years when he met Ana since Mandy's death, and he, of course, wasn't the most open, but she brought him out of his plastered shell, and he's never let go of her since. Maybe that's why he's so over-protective now, as he wasn't in the past, and he lost everything. Since the death of his and Ana's daughter, he's been stronger, and had moved on to help his wife overcome this. He's been there before, even though she doesn't know about that part of Jacob Colinsworth's life. He hopes she never does.
