Being alone in such a big house just killed Ana on the inside. It used to feel like home but, now it was just a painful reminder of her and Jacob's relationship, how excited she was when they finally moved into the home and were able to call it theirs. Most of the day, Ana would be laying in bed either watching Netflix or just staring at the ceiling, thinking. Sure, every once and a while she would call her boss saying how she would be returning in a month but, for now with the miscarriage and a strain in her marriage she needed to time to get back into the right mindset to conduct and do her job properly.

      When the woman heard a car pull up to their house, she sat up with a raised eyebrow. She place her computer on the night stand along with a turned over picture of her and Jacob on their wedding day as she sat the bowl of popcorn next to her on the bed before getting up. She finger combed her hair as she took a deep breath and started to walk to the front of the house. What if it was Jacob? What if he was going to kick her out saying it was his house or worst maybe he was delivering divorce papers with his signature already signed as he finally realizing that she wasn't right for him and that her words rang truth within him. Great now she was freaking out. She stopped a few times ass he headed to the front room, not wanting to face him especially with her looking like a bum. Her bright, almost white locks frizzy and all over the place as she wore a black tank and a pair of his grey sweatpants. She blew into her hand as she smelled her breath, at least her breath was terrible. She made it as far as the front room, right in front of the large window that revealed a taxi, which was strange seeing that she left the car at the airport for him. She peaked through to see a red headed woman with a little boy in her arms started walking towards the front door. "Shit." She said softly as she moved away from the window so it didn't appear like she spying on the two even though she was. "Who is that?" She asked as she saw another peak of the woman. Then it hit her, what if that was Jacob's family?! For all she knew maybe he lied about them dying too just to make her feel worst for him.

      The thought was like a punch in the stomach, the woman was pretty and the little boy did look like Jacob. Part of her hoped the woman would go away before she rung the door bell or knocked but, of course just as she started to pray for her to leave, she heard a knock at the door. Ana took a gulp as she fixed her hair and walked towards the door. It was now or never and if it was Mandy, then Ana was going to give her a piece of her mind about have the balls to come to her house. She flipped her hair before opening the door with a small smile as she looked at the woman and then the small boy sleeping in her arms. "Oh.."
      The red head said as Ana raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" She asked, somewhat defensive just in case it was Mandy or another one of Jacob's little 'friends'. "Are you.. Anastasia?"
      She nodded slowly. "I am, and you are...?"

      "This little guy is Lucas.. and I'm Katelyn. " The blonde took a deep breath and looked at the sky for a moment. Shit, there were more women and kids?! "Hi?" She said as she shifted from one leg to another. "I'm.. uh.. Jacob's sister." She raised an eyebrow and she sighed in relief. "His sister...? Oh, um, come in and you can lay him down on the sofa if you'd like." She said as she smiled in relief as well. She moved out of the way as she allowed the two to walk in and watch her set the small boy down before taking a seat herself. Ana cleared her throat before sighing. "So... Um, Jacob's not here but, you don't have to leave. And, if you don't mind me asking, what bring you here?" She asked with raised eyebrow as she sat down in the leather chair seated next to the couch.

      "I.. um.. I needed a favor from Jacob. I'm sorry to disturb you, honest. I haven't heard from my older brother in years, much less our childhood. Not since that bitch he married. Which I never understood, she faked a pregnancy to be with him, and he didn't even love her, but whatever." Ana cleared her throat as she looked down at her bare hands. He really didn't love her? She wouldn't believe it if he told her, but hearing it from someone else. Someone who he hadn't talked to in years was a different story. Now she didn't know what to think "Sorry." She snapped back as she chuckled and shook her head. "No, it's fine. Don't even worry about it." She reassured the younger looking girl before she started talking again.

      "I need someone to watch Lucas while I handle things with his father. Things grew complicated, which they tend to do when all the man does is lie to me." She scoffed as she raised her eyes. "Tell me about." She said under her breath as she looked to the side before turning back to Kate. "I'm so sorry. I haven't had anyone to talk to besides baby talker here and he still thinks Daddy is a superhero. Superheros don't go to prison." She looked at the woman before looking towards her son. Ana honestly liked talking to someone and it not ending with her in tears, even if she had just met the woman it was nice and knowing what had happened, Ana felt bad and wanted to help out. Even if Jake wasn't there and she wanted to ask her brother, Annie was a great caretaker and maybe if she watched this little boy, it would get her mind off her own god awful life for a while until Jacob returns and kicks her out.

      "If you don't mind me asking.. where is Jacob?" And there it was. Ana took a deep breath as she opened her mouth before closing it, not really knowing what to say. She looked down at her ring finger before sighing and looking back at the woman. "I don't know in all honesty. We're kind of separated... so to speak at the moment and spending sometime apart just to work things out, I guess." She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. "And, I would completely understand if you left with your son right now seeing that Jacob's your family and not me but... If you would like I could watch him for you and then when Jake gets back, he'll more than likely love to watch him for you until everything gets straightened out." She offered.

"It's fine with me.. except he hasn't been a day without me, and.. the hotels are so far away and wicked expensive. Can I crash on the couch tonight? It'd just be for tonight, and I'll probably leave in the early morning, just so he won't make too much of a fuss. He's like Jacob, when he doesn't think you care about him, he'll go haywire." She chuckled, blushing a tad bit.

"I know it's none of my business, and I'm really sorry to intrude on your life like this, but, you aren't mad at Jacob about him telling you his past, are you?" She cleared her throat, sighing. "Let me explain. Jacob.. since we were young had always been the.. more adventurous, curious type. He always got himself in some situation. But, when he met Mandy, she made him get in all sorts of trouble. He partied, drank excess amounts of rum, um.. he even pranked other kids by spray-painting their houses with her. She was a total diva, for lack of a better word. " She sighed, looking at the woman. "So, after this went on for a year or so, our mother decided enough was enough. Jacob had just runaway with her, and..." She paused thinking, closing her eyes then opening them. "Danny. Danny, Mandy, and Jacob went and lived wherever I forget. But, we did DNA testing before they died. Danny wasn't his, and Mandy.. well.. the reason she got herself and her son killed was because she was going to meet.. a rival of Jacob's. " She chuckled. "Shane, I think. Anyway, turned out Danny was Shane's and Mandy was making Jake take the fall for it." Katelyn proudly explained. Her smiled, turned into a frown quickly. "But.. I nor mom ever had the guts to tell him. So.. he still thinks she loved him, and he lost his family. When in reality, he never had one."

"I completely understand if you want me to leave now. I intruded on your life, completely. But, if I may add, and I don't want to upset you, or make you stay married to him or anything, but, when I hear our mother tell me all the things Jacob does for you, or you do for him, it's like.. pure love. Take it from his sister, he loves you. " She finally shut her mouth. "Again, I'm so sorry." Her eyes were a little more dilated now, and she squeezed her hands together, twirling her bracelet on her wrist.

" I feel the need to stand up for him, when I shouldn't. I was never there to help him, and we didn't have a great a childhood. Mom was always waitressing, dropping us off at whoever wanted to keep us for a month or so next, and.. he feels abandoned, since dad left like right after I was born. I never knew him, but Jacob claims he remembers everything about the man." She covered her mouth with her hand, light pink painted across her cheeks. "Honest, just tell me when to stop. I can go all night about family history." She chuckled nervously.

It'd just be for tonight, and I'll probably leave in the early morning, just so he won't make too much of a fuss. He's like Jacob, when he doesn't think you care about him, he'll go haywire." She nodded like it was nothing, maybe it would be good to have someone in the house over night instead of her laying down in this big house all alone, again. "Of course! No problem." The blonde got up as she went to the hall way closet to grab out a blanket and a pillow. When sh returned, she set them on the other sofa before looking over at Kate. "I know it's none of my business, and I'm really sorry to intrude on your life like this, but, you aren't mad at Jacob about him telling you his past, are you?" Ana eyes darted down before she sighed, not having to say a word for the younger woman to know she was pretty much saying yes.

      "Let me explain. Jacob.. since we were young had always been the.. more adventurous, curious type. He always got himself in some situation. "So, after this went on for a year or so, our mother decided enough was enough. Jacob had just runaway with her, and... Danny. Danny, Mandy, and Jacob went and lived wherever I forget. But, we did DNA testing before they died. Danny wasn't his, and Mandy.. well.. the reason she got herself and her son killed was because she was going to meet.. a rival of Jacob's. I nor mom ever had the guts to tell him. So.. he still thinks she loved him, and he lost his family. When in reality, he never had one." she softly chuckled as she thought about it, not because it was funny or anything along those lines but, because now she was really confused on what to do or believe. "I'm such an idiot." she said softly to herself as she looked down at the ground once leaning her elbows on her knees and laying on her hands.

      "I completely understand if you want me to leave now. I intruded on your life, completely. But, if I may add, and I don't want to upset you, or make you stay married to him or anything, but, when I hear our mother tell me all the things Jacob does for you, or you do for him, it's like.. pure love. I never knew him, but Jacob claims he remembers everything about the man. Honest, just tell me when to stop. I can go all night about family history." Annie smiled as she held her hand up and shook her head again. "Really, you're fine. And as much as you want to stand up for Jake, he shrugged as she got up. "He doesn't need it, he's free to go off and find someone better, someone that actually trust him and as much as I want him back so maybe we can work it out... I messed up too much this time." She cleared her throat as she shrugged once more before shaking her head. "Now, why don't you tell me more about the family while we go through take-out menus, my treat." She offered as she went off into the kitchen.

"Now, why don't you tell me more about the family while we go through take-out menus, my treat." Katelyn smiled warmly at Anastasia, nodding towards her. "Please.. I haven't eaten since.. I don't know when." She remarked, before looking up as she returned.

Needless to say, Katelyn talked herself tired until late that night, when she finally yawned. She filled Anastasia on everything she needed and should have known about the Colinsworth's including all of her stories, about Lucas's father and such. Basically, he was a big-time druggie, and Katelyn didn't know it when they got married. When Lucas came, he started going and cheating on her, so now she had to settle the divorce battle with the lawyers, the whole reason Lucas needed to stay with Jacob. Katelyn then promptly dismissed the tired Ana, and she fell asleep with the still-tired Lucas next to her on the couch.

Just as promised, Katelyn left entirely too early that morning, around 3 A.M. or so. She had to make her way into the big city to meet for the court hearing. She kissed his head softly, shutting the front door quietly, and running off to the city, with intentions to be back by at least 7 tonight. Maybe Jacob would be back by then. Lucas was snug soundly in the couch, nestled in his mother's lingering warmth until he realized that she was no longer there, around 7 A.M. Being so young, he became easily frightened, and let his emotions take over.

He slowly opened his eyes, just looking around him. It was all so new, and such an adventure. Everything was foreign, and it suddenly grew cold in this new place. "M-Mommy?" He asked several times before waking himself completely, and his face turning a bright pink shade. "Mom.. mom.. Mommy!" He slowly got louder and louder, flailing his tiny teddy bear in his chubby hands. "Ahh... Ahhh.. M-mumma!" He cried, and cried, not exactly liking his new home.

      The rest of the night was filled with stories of the Colinsworth, and to some it could have gotten old but, Ana really like hear stories about the family and their childhood and everything in between. And after hearing about why she needed someone to watch her son, there was no way she was going to say no. Around midnight, the two finally said goodnight and headed off to bed. She slid into her side of the bed as she sighed and groaned, now she had no idea what to do or think when Jacob came back. But, she couldn't think about it long because no much later, Ana was asleep with her door open as she knew that Lucas could easily wake up the second he realized his mother wasn't there.

      She tossed and turned in her sleep as she thought about Jacob. Then, just like she assumed, she heard screaming and crying coming from the front room. She silently cursed as she slid on her slippers and hurried to the front room to see a crying little boy. She sighed as she walked over to him slowly, not wanting to scare the little boy anymore. She shushed as she picked him up and rocked him back and forth. Even with the screaming in her ears, she held her composure as she continued to try and calm him down. "Shhh, don't cry, Lucas. Everything's okay, your mommy will be home soon." She assured as she continued to rock him as she walked into the kitchen. She sat down as she looked at the little boy with a comforting smile. "You hungry, cutie?" She asked as she bounced her leg softly to try to stop the crying.

Lucas calmed as he saw the woman approach him, and felt the warmth of her skin touch his. "Mmm.." He cooed, and snuggled into her after the initial effect of his mother's absence disintegrated. He took a liking to the woman the night before which helped now. He took in all the new adventures, and would often giggle throughout the day, taking likings to new little things like the food she'd give him, or the curly ends of her long hair that would twirl in his fingers. "I wish my hair wad long lide that." Lucas would smile a grin full of baby teeth, and then laugh as he'd feel bashful. His favourite part of the day was when Miss Ana took him all around the house, and they even played hide and go seek, which she was impossible to beat it. "You won.." He'd pout, and then smile up at her, his little eyes squinting his smile so big. He was a happy little boy all in all, and he'd mumble against her skin when she held him. Lucas had a habit of buzzing his lips together as he would sit on the couch cushions, next to his new friend, and swing his legs as an attempt to touch the ground. All in all, an A+ day for the little boy.

He was quite sobered up, haven't had a drop since he left the Hawaiian Islands, where he'd originally went with his wife, but then it went to hell, and here we are. His flight had got him to the airport they'd left from around 12:30 P.M. that day, with still half a day. He was leaving the airport, just about to hail a cab, when he saw their car still parked in the parking lot. He sighed, and couldn't even muster a sad face. Jacob was slowly accepting the idea of being alone, and he hated the prospect, but it was the all-too-true life he was obtaining.

After walking over with his cane and luggage, he threw it in the back before starting the engine, his jacket feeling cozy on his shoulders. It was about 3:30 P.M. when he pulled up to the driveway of his.. well, he didn't know whose house it was now. He sighed, shutting the door, and then bracing his cane, his leg sporting a brand new brace of sorts. The fall on the beach had agitated it, and he was in a little more pain, but other then that he was fine. Maybe it was the medicine making him extra mellow, he didn't know. He made sure to straighten himself up, his scarf neatly on his chest, as the collar of jacket was popped out, his hair a little rough, it's usual high spikes, as if he'd just ran a hand through it. His lips parted to let out a small sigh, wondering of his wife's current conditions.

After ringing the doorbell, he waited for someone to come to the door, but to his surprise, he did not expect who he saw.

      The day was going, actually pretty well. Not long after holding him Lucas stopped crying and allowed her to care for him. Most of their day was filled with exploring the house, eating and snacking, playing, and watching child-friendly cartoons on her Netflix account. She loved it and while it made her feel great knowing she was helping someone it just made her think of how it could have been if she had Elizabeth. How she could be playing hide and seek with two kids instead of her nephew. After their third game of hide and seek, she swooped him up as he wrapped his legs around her waist. "You won.." She just chuckled as she nodded. She sat the two of them down on the couch as she sat back with the television playing in the background as she watched him trying to reach the floor. She sighed as she ran her hand through his curls softly before hearing the door.

      "I wonder who that could be." She said, sort of in a baby-like voice as she swooped him up. "Let's go see." She said as she moved him to her side and set her hand on his back to keep him from falling. She smiled as he messed with her hair as she didn't even bother checking to see who it was. She just assumed it was Katelyn or a package that she had order or something. So, she smiled as she opened the door to see her husband. She cleared her throat and took a deep breath. "Jacob, hi." She licked her lips. "What are you doing here?--.. I mean, it's your house but, I just thought you wouldn't... come... back..." She said as she looked down, but not before seeing his wedding ring still on. Which did give her a little hope that maybe he wasn't as mad at her as she thought. "What am I doing making you stay outside? Come in." She moved aside as she set Lucas down. "Oh, and this is Lucus, your sister's son. She needed help and she came looking for you but, you weren't here and--.. I couldn't say no." She admitted as she looked down at the little boy.

      She closed the door behind him as she looked him up and down with a small, but awkward smile. He looked so sexy when he was dressed up. But, why was he dressed up? Was it for her? Or someone else? "My sister?" She nodded as she turned to Lucas. "Um, yea. She had some stuff to deal with in the city and I said I could watch him since you weren't here." She smiled towards Lucas as the little boy walk over towards his uncle. She watched the interaction between the two with a smile as she took a deep breath. This wasn't that awkward, all she had to do was pull him aside and tell him that she wanted to work it out, that she was willing to move past it and continue their life together. But, what if he laughed at him or met someone else once she left the island? And he'd just looked at her like she was crazy before taking Lucas and leaving. "Ah.. I see, matey. Why don't you go clean up your mess, alright? I'll come in there a minute." She returned to reality as she stared towards the two. She watched Lucas scurry off as she cleared her throat and fixed a piece of hair behind her ear. "I see you've had your hands full for a few days then. If you want, I can take him with me. He's.. not your responsibility." She shook her head as she swatted her hand. "No, no. Really, it's no bother. 'Sides, I've only been alone with him for not even a day." She reassured him with a small smile. "You're probably wondering why I'm here." She watched him look down as she started to lose her confidence. "I mean... It's your house too." She raised an eyebrow as she kept her eyes on him.

      "I just.. I came to get my things. Um, the theater is promoting me to a more.. active actor, so they need me to re-locate closer to the city. That's why I'm all suited up, as you say, since I've got to meet the realtor in just a little bit. Figured I could help with the spring cleaning. Then, to the doctor, for more tests. They said it could be getting better.. or worse." She cleared her throat as she threw out any thought about telling him that she missed him out the window. She held in the heartbreak as she messed with her fingers. "Oh right, spring cleaning... and who knows? Maybe it'll be good news." She smiled a shallow smile before turning back towards her bare fingers. "But, nonetheless, my offer still stands. If I need to come pick up Lucas, just call-"

      "Jakey, Jakey! Mommy said this is yours!" Her eyes turned to Lucas who had entered the room with a small stuffed bear in his hands as he handed it to her husband. "Aye, it was a long, long time ago. When I was a little boy much like yourself, Luke. Say, what do you say, after I get settled in my house, you can come spend the night? How'd you like that, my boy? Momma can come too." She noticed the boy look towards her before looking back towards his uncle. She took a deep breath as she looked down. "But, what about Miss Ana? Where will she sleep?" Both Ana and Jacob shifted on their feet. She excused herself as she went to the kitchen to try and keep herself together as she sat down in one of the seats, still being able to see Jacob and Lucas from where she sat. "She can come too, if she wanted too. You know, this is Miss Ana's house. " Miss Ana. She wasn't even Mrs. anymore. This was his way of hinting that he wanted a divorce wasn't it?! He just didn't know how to tell her. That's why he was so dressed up and moving out, he wasn't getting a better job at the theater--.. or maybe he was but, more than anything he was meeting with a divorce lawyer so he could sign those papers! God, she knew she messed up but, she never realized she messed up so bad to push him into the arms of another woman. "Woow. Don't leave yet, Jakey." Yea, ditto. "Aye, son, I need to. I just came to get a few things of mine. Then, I've got to do adult things. They're boring." She slightly scoffed as she looked at the wooden flooring in the kitchen.

      "Yea, it's 'adult things' alright." She said to herself as Jacob excused himself to start packing. Ana couldn't even look at him so, she moved into the living room with her eyes glued to the floor as she sat on the couch and heard Jacob pacing back and forth from his car to their.. well her bedroom. She sniffled softly to herself as she listened to his footsteps. That was it. Game over. Just like that she had lost the one man she really loved. Yes, he lied and yes, it was wrong but, she wanted to try and move past it but, I guess the roles were reversed now with Ana wanting to move on while Jacob was quitting all together. "I hope you both have a very good rest of the evening. A big thanks to you for helping me, like a good boy." She took a deep breath as she pulled herself together, on the outside as she heard Jacob start talking. She watched the two interact before Jacob walked out. He didn't even say goodbye. As if she didn't even matter anymore or that she wasn't even there. She took two deep breath before a tearing slid down her porcelain skin. She wiped it away as Luke walked towards her. "When is Jakey coming back, Annie?" She cleared her throat as she turned back towards him, her voice a little shaky. I um-- I don't know, Luke. C'mon, let's call your mom and see if she's on her way." She said with a caring smile as she reached for her phone and pushed on Katelyn's number and name. It went to voicemail and she just decided to leave a message. "Hey, Kate. It's um--it's Ana. I just wanted to say that Jake came by and got to see Luke. It was actually really adorable seeing the two of them together but, um, call me when you get this." She hung up her phone as she sighed and shrugged. Looking at Lucas she ran her hand through his curls as she sat up in her seat. "So, what do you wanna do?" She asked as she pulled him to her lap.

Jacob had just driven about 5 miles, when his pockets felt mysteriously empty, and it made him highly uncomfortable. As his hand searched his pants, he cursed silently as his wallet was no where to be found. "Bloody hell.." He muttered, pulling over to the side and making a probable illegal U-turn, to return to his home. Where his Ana was. He pulled back up into the driveway, when another car was pulling up next to his, and he didn't recognize the car. Ana had already had new man in her life? Just because he was taking it udderly slow and not wanting to rush her into anything uncomfortable? Geez.

He got out of the truck, and heard the front door open, and Lucas's tiny voice yell, "Mommyy!" His eyebrows raised as he shut his door, and a female giggle was heard, as she shut her door as well. "Hey little man! Mommy missed you soo much, yes she did!" Jacob swallowed, and his eyes grew big as she then noticed him, Lucas on her hip. "Jake?" She asked, as if she was uncertain, and he managed the same small smile as he had given to Ana earlier. "Aye, love." He answered, and they hugged in front of the vehicles. "What are you doing way out here? You've been under the radar since.. I came back from the Army." Katelyn's facial expression shifted, to a look of remorse. "It's just.. his Dad is going to prison for um.." She swallowed, and shifted her eyes to their feet. "for abuse. I finally turned him in. So.. we're just trying to get back on our feet. Anastasia has been so helpful. You're so blessed to have such a wife." She smiled, and they continued to hug, his face full of guilt, but smiling as she saw his eyes again. "Come on, I'm sure Mrs. Colinsworth wants to see her husband. " She beamed, and walked in first, then followed by Jacob, as Lucas was resting on her hip.

"Oh, Ana, I hope Lucas wasn't too much of a bother." She spoke as she retrieved her phone out of her pocket. "Ah. I didn't listen to your message yet. Everything alright?" She waited for her answer, and then nodded. "Well, I'll get Lucas tidied up. Somebody's had a busy day. Thank you so much, again Ana." Katelyn's smile was warming, and she disappeared with Lucas to bathe him. Jacob was still by the front door, and he closed it behind him, locking it. "I left my wallet here. Any idea where it might be, love?" He smiled softly, waving to a Lucas who was watching him from his mother's shoulder. After he managed to look in the couch cushions and kitchen counters, he thinks Ana covered the open floors and maybe in the bedroom. His ears picked up her voice claiming she found the item, and he sighed in relief. "Aye, love. Thank you so much. I kinda need this." He held the leather wallet in his rough hands, and his lips parted slightly to allow a soft sigh to escape. A low chuckle left his mouth as he looked up at her, managing to stuff it in his back pant pocket. "I.. I want to give you your space, Ana." His breathing quickened, and his eyes were suddenly so soft.

"Now that we're alone.. " He took a step away, and shut the bedroom door that was directly behind him. "I can finally talk to you." He smirked, and kept his distance. "I don't want a divorce. Honest, love. Anything you want to know about me, just ask me, I swear I'll tell you." He briefly entangled his hands in one another, and he looked down at them. His fingers wrestling around. "I love you, I swear on my own life, Anastasia. I don't think I've realized that more than on our wedding day. " He started to mumble, and chuckled, as if she wasn't going to believe him. "I need to give you space. Let you think on your own. But by no means, will you ever belong to another man's heart. " He explained himself somewhat, and ran a hand through his dark hair, it ruffling around his fingers. " I still have that acting job in the city, and I need a month or so just to even everything out, alright?You know how long it takes to get there from out here, and it's going to be hectic in rehearsals, and script changes and the works. But, can we just take this month to remember how much we still love each other?" He asked softly, and he came closer to her, his hands untangling, and slowly touching her arms, the tips tracing her skin as they traveled down to her soft hands.

As his hands entangled in hers slowly, his head was gravitating towards hers ever so slowly, stopping just before their noses touched. "Angel.." His eyes searched hers, taking in all the sadness, happiness, guilt, fear, doubt, denial, fright, everything, and instantly knowing how she might feel. His breath was bouncing off of her skin and back to his, and he slowed his breathing. "Let's start over." He breathily whispered towards her ear.

      A few hours later, Ana heard a car pull up and was a bit to eager to get up to see who's car it was. She saw Kate get out and sighed before seeing Jacob's car pull up. She cleared her throat as she unknowingly started to her hair and straighten out her leggings that she has slid on once Jacob left along with one of her shirts, not even realizing it was his. She smiled towards Luke as she pointed to the window. "Look Luke, your mommy's here." She said as she opened the door for him. She smiled as she looked towards Kate and Luke as they walked to the door. She walked towards the living room to pick up a few of the toys as the Colinsworth siblings walked inside with Luke on Kate's hip. She waved towards the other woman. "Oh, Ana, I hope Lucas wasn't too much of a bother. "Ah. I didn't listen to your message yet. Everything alright?" She swatted her hand before speaking. "He wasn't a bother at all. We had a lot of fun today, right buddy? And, yea everything's fine." She nodded. "Well, I'll get Lucas tidied up. Somebody's had a busy day. Thank you so much, again Ana."

      She nodded as she saw the two walk off as she set the toys in a corner out of the way as she turned back towards Jake. "Forget something?" She asked a little more hostile than she meant to come off as. "I left my wallet here. Any idea where it might be, love?" She shook her head as she looked towards the kitchen counter. "Nope, but I can help you find it. You look in here and I'll take the back of the house." She said as she rushed off to the back, away from him. Far, far away. She looked in the back of the house, the hall, the other rooms, and of course their bedroom. She checked the bed and under the bed before walking to the closet. She opened the panels to reveal his leather wallet. She smirked as she rolled her eyes and picked it up from the ground. "Found it, Jake!" She said before hearing him walk to the back. She handed it to him with a smirk on her face. "Aye, love. Thank you so much. I kinda need this." She took a deep breath as she nodded. "Yea." She softly as she looked down before walking away from him and the entrance of their room and into the bedroom towards the vanity to grab a hair tie. She assumed her was just going to walk out and leave her alone but, her heart dropped when she heard Jacob start talking. "I.. I want to give you your space, Ana." She looked down as she took a deep breath. "I--I know, lots of space. I get it," She made a pushing motion as she spoke once turning towards him but, staying right where she was. "Now that we're alone. I can finally talk to you." She opened her mouth to say something but could only shake her head at the moment. "There's really nothing to talk about, Jake.--.." She assured him as she had an awkward smile on her face.

      "I don't want a divorce. Honest, love. Anything you want to know about me, just ask me, I swear I'll tell you." She scoffed softly as she let out a genuine smile with her eyes bright. "Y--You don't wanna a divorce? Really?" She looked towards him as she started to walk closer to him. "I love you, I swear on my own life, Anastasia. I don't think I've realized that more than on our wedding day. I need to give you space. Let you think on your own. But by no means, will you ever belong to another man's heart." She softly chuckled with him as walked towards him the whole time he was talking, only stopping when when she was close to him. He did want her to move on either? He loved her, he really loved her? Even after leaving him alone in a romantic hotel with her wedding ring on the table? Why? And how? How could he still love her after something like that? And if this was all true, then why was he really moving to the city without her? " I still have that acting job in the city, and I need a month or so just to even everything out, alright?You know how long it takes to get there from out here, and it's going to be hectic in rehearsals, and script changes and the works. But, can we just take this month to remember how much we still love each other?" She nodded understandably as she looked at him. She knew his career meant a lot and if it was true, she would want him to take it without hesitation. She would always be there for him, waiting for him, cheering for him, but opportunities didn't just come out of nowhere everyday. "Definitely." That was all she could muster as she felt goosebumps and tingles all over her body as he touched her arms slightly and moved close to her.

      She swallowed a lump in her throat as she went from his eyes to his lips. "Angel.." She, at first didn't register that he had something. "What--.. I mean, yea?" She had to make herself look away from his lips and towards his eyes as she moved her hands up and down his arms. "Let's start over." She didn't even say anything as she smiled, nodded, and brought him towards her. She moved one hand up to his shoulder and the other to his side to keep him pulling away too quickly. As they kissed she moved her arms around her neck as she lead the kiss, only pulling away with a chuckle. "Can I please have my ring back though, if you still have it." She asked with big eyes. Once he slid it back on her finger, she pulled him towards her again this time not letting anything get in the way the kiss. She had her ring, she had her man, she didn't want to be the one pull away this time.

Jacob couldn't feel more relieved as he slid that perfect little ring back on her finger. His hands met in the small of her back, and as he pulled away from the second kiss, already feeling that warm sensation she so easily gave him, he rubbed lazy circles on her skin. "I see.. you've already missed me." He lightly teased, chuckling as he took notice of his old shirt hanging on her small frame. He felt himself turning into more of a noble, honorable man, the kind you'd read about in Lucas's bedtime stories, just by the fact that he got his wife back. "It's getting late, love. I hate to break this up, but I still have a doctor's appointment and I'm sure Katelyn and Lucas need you here more than I do there." He smiled, and rested his head on her shoulder, his nose rubbing against the skin on her neck. Jacob wanted to cherish the feeling of her in is embrace forever, but alas, he slowly and hesitantly pulled his arms away from her too warm skin.

He let his hands fall to hers again, and squeezed them lovingly, all the while never breaking his gaze with her. "You're even more amazing than you were on that forsaken island." He smiled a hint of bitterness hidden in his tone, and tucked a stray hair behind her ear, all the while his smile growing with each second his fingertips brushed her soft skin. "Goodnight, love." His eyes had a sadness to them, but it'd only be temporary, as he kissed each one of her hands with his soft lips, lingering over her ring finger, her wedding band in his interest. "Have sweet dreams, mi amor." He whispered in her ear, and pecking her cheek, before letting go of her completely, and starting to step back. He couldn't leave though, without telling his sister and favourite nephew goodnight as well. Then, he started to shut the door behind him, but not without one last glance at his Anastasia.

__*__ One Month's time _*_

Jacob let out a low oof as he set the last and final box of this darn puzzle into the bed of his pick-up. His eyes were tired, and bloodshot, from the mere fact he couldn't sleep at all the night before as his excitement over came him. Today was the day he was going home. Not his childhood, but to where his Anastasia would be waiting with open loving arms, and he could plant kisses on every inch of her skin she'd let him. Without too much haste, he shut the truck door of the car, and started the engine. He'd left the keys to the newer house on the counter as instructed, and he'd done at least a million sweeps just to make sure he got everything. That morning, he'd made sure to dress himself decently. His outfit consisted of jeans, and his nice shoes, with a pull-over sweater type shirt, and his leather jacket topping it all off. It wasn't too much of a drive over, but as he drove he replayed the last month's events like a slideshow in his head. Well, firstly there was that darn movie that kept him away from his lovebird. It was titled, "The Attack of The Bees". Some nonsense movie, similar to Sharknado, but far more corny. People turned into giant bees, which Jacob's character claimed to have control over. It was just another something he could see his future kids laughing about. Secondly, his more frequent doctor visits were somewhat helpful. He'd been able to go down in dosage of the pain medication, and some days he didn't even take them. He'd switched doctors, leaving the one at the hospital for a Dr. Marcus, who had his office near the theatre. He explained Jacob's conditions more thoroughly so he'd better understand them and know what to or not to do. Turns out, it didn't have to be a lifelong disability, but in most cases it was more like a sore muscle type thing that didn't really go away. But, he was still fully functional and fine to do most things without his cane.

Now, he was pulling up into the old driveway he didn't know he'd miss so much, and he opened his truck door, swinging his legs out first, and then standing on his feet. It was 10 A.M. on a Saturday morning. They had to be awake, especially with Lucas running around now.

Katelyn had been up since about 9 A.M. that particular morning, and tending to Lucas's sudden hunger and play needs. He had jumped on the couch, careful not to step on her, and wake her up. "Where's Ana, Luke?" She asked groggily, and he simply shrugged before hopping down and playing with the stuffed bear. She sighed, and was feeding him some cereal she knew she might just regret giving him, when she'd heard the car pull up. "Are you expecting someone?" She looked to Anastasia, who by the looks of it, just woke up from her coma. "Oh, I remember now. How could I have forgotten my big brother?" She chuckled, and ran a hand through her messier hair, standing up as Jacob's tall figure opened the door. "Good morning, ladies, and gentleboy." He smiled widely, and kissed Katelyn's cheek, giving her a swift hug before being attacked by Lucas's fast form to latch around his legs. "Ey, buddy." He smiled proudly, and lifted the boy up into his arms, Lucas taking the advantage and ruffling Jacob's hair with his chubby hands. "Hey! Hey!" Jacob whined playfully, and moved his head, and then peppering the boy with kisses before tickling his sides. "Jakey, ahh!" He playfully giggled, softly screaming, and snorting. "I hope you've learned your lesson here, young man." Jacob set the boy down gently, before slowly looking up, and meeting the gaze of the prettiest girl he'd seen in a month.

"Aye, good morning love." He smiled charmingly, just like he had, and slowly closed the distance between them. "I didn't have anyone to tell good morning for the past month." He pouted, his eyes searching hers, and looking her over. "Someone's still got some sleepiness, hmm?" He teased, and brought his arms around her, squeezing her to his form, and kissing her cheek softly. "Aye, whaddaya say we unload all the stuff in my excuse of a pick-up, and then I'll take all of you to go see the movie that will have me as the laughing stock of the house for the rest of my life?" Jacob smiled towards Ana, and heard Katelyn's chime in. "Sounds good to me. Lucas will love to help you move in, Jake." She said warmly, and stood, cleaning up the mess the two year old had no intentions of cleaning. "Jakey, Jakey! We're gonna see a movie?" He looked at the man with big eyes, and then to Ana. "Yaaay!" He smiled, giggling loudly, and squeaked as Jacob put him on his hip. "That's right buddy, once you help me move my boxes." Jacob poked his nose, and kissed Ana's, before setting him down, and unloading his truck, returning everything to their rightful places. Where they belonged.

It only took about two hours to get it all done, and Jacob had changed into something a little more handsome. It was still his jeans, just the ankles rolled up a bit, his same shoes, but he changed shirts to a kinda peachy-pink colored one, and a pastel tie, with a dark grey blazer hanging on his fitting shoulders. "Angel, love, we don't wanna be late for your husband's only movie premiere!" He laughed as he stood in the living room, with a content Lucas sucking on his thumb. Katelyn came out of the guest bathroom, in a simple dress, that consisted of a light flower pattern, which she added a jean jacket to cover her shoulders, her aura giving her title as mom a boost. She padded into the living room with the boys, and checked her watch. "We need to leave soon. Where is she?"

      "I see.. you've already missed me." She chuckled as she noticed the smirk on his face. She moved her hands to his jaw as she looked away from him. "Maybe a little bit. A tiny, tiny bit." She admitted as she pecked his lips once more before pulling away and just looking up at him. "It's getting late, love. I hate to break this up, but I still have a doctor's appointment and I'm sure Katelyn and Lucas need you here more than I do there." She took a deep breath as she nodded in agreement as she leaned her head on his shoulder. Just like him she was slow to move her arms away from him before pleasantly surprised as he wrapped his arms around her once more. "You're even more amazing than you were on that forsaken island." She chuckled a bit as she looked in his eyes, not even acknowledging his brushing a few pieces of hair away from her face. "Goodnight, love." her smirk turned into a pout as he started to kiss her hands, knowing it might be a while until he would be able to do that again. "Goodnight, baby."

      "Have sweet dreams, mi amor." She when he moved away from her ear and gave her a kiss on the cheek, she let one hand fall to his jaw. "I will. I love you." She peck his lips once more before letting him pull away and start to walk towards the door. When he turned around, she smiled softly before following him into the front room, she looked out the window and waved when he saw him look back towards the house before getting into his car and driving off. Her smile still on her face until she walked away from the window and back towards her sister in law and her son.

      ~~~~~~ 1 Month Later~~~~~~
      Ana was still sleeping by the time Jacob was driving, she had her alarm set to give her enough time to get all dressed and nice before he got here but, she had something planned. Something she knew he would like and with the planning, she fell asleep without even realizing how late it was. She didn't even hear her alarm start going off. That is until she had just five minutes before her husband was suppose to get back. She cursed softly to herself as she quickly got up to see the damage that a late night did to her. Looking at herself, she groaned. Well the idea of giving him a nice welcome home went out the window. Perfect. Just perfect. She sighed as she grabbed her brush and can it though her newly shortened locks that now went a little below her shoulders instead of falling to the middle of her back like it used to. She tossed it in a ponytail and rubbed her face to get some color back into her naturally pale skin before still not being pleased. There was no use, she had set her alarm to give her a good two hours to get ready, get dressed, and just be waiting in the front room as she waited for Jacob to be home.
      She hurried to the bathroom to brush her teeth before using her mouthwash and spraying herself with her perfume. Looking at the time, she took a deep breath as she fixed the large white scope neck shirt on her small frame and straightened out her leggings to make sure they looked perfect, or at least as perfect as leggings could be. As she walked into the front room she smiled towards Lucas and Kate as she leaned on the wooden frame that connected the living room and the kitchen. "Are you expecting someone?" She raised an eyebrow, not even saying a word, but letting Katelyn think of who it was. "Oh, I remember now. How could I have forgotten my big brother?" She nodded as she let out a goofy smile as she heard the door open to reveal her husband. She watched Jacob hug and kiss Katelyn and Lucas as she just smiled. When he looked up towards her, she stood up straight. "Aye, good morning love." She smiled as she wrapped her arms around as he walked towards her. "G'morning."
      "I didn't have anyone to tell good morning for the past month." She moved one of her hands to his jaw as she smirked. "Aw, that's exactly what I wanted to hear." She said in sarcasm as he smirk grew. She watched him look her over as she started to worry over nothing. "What?"
      "Someone's still got some sleepiness, hmm?" She bit her lip softly as she nodded slowly before softly pushing him before her pulled himself closer again and kissed her cheek. "Aye, whaddaya say we unload all the stuff in my excuse of a pick-up, and then I'll take all of you to go see the movie that will have me as the laughing stock of the house for the rest of my life?" She rolled her eyes. "Oh, baby. You were already going to be the laughing stock." She said before turned towards Katelyn as she said it was a good idea. "Jakey, Jakey! We're gonna see a movie?" She nodded as he turned towards her. "Yaaay!" She chuckled as she looked up at Lucas. She laid her head on Jacob as her eyes went from Luke to Jacob.
      "That's right buddy, once you help me move my boxes." When he kissed her nose, she squinted her nose before he let go of her and started to get the boxes out of his car. It only took the couple a couple of hours to get all his stuff back in the house and they were now getting ready for the movie. Ana already had her dress and makeup on as she finished curling her hair. "Angel, love, we don't wanna be late for your husband's only movie premiere!" She set the curler down for a second as she shouted to her husband. "Almost done!" She said before picking it up and fixing the last piece of hair before shaking her head softly to relax the curl before turning on the machine and unplugging it. She slid on her heels before looking at herself in the full length mirror. She looked at the white, rosy dress with a smile before fixing her necklace and walking to the front room. "We need to leave soon. Where is she?" She cleared her throat as she posed a little before chuckling and looked towards Jacob and then Kate. "I'm ready."
Jacob's eyes were big as he heard her, before his eyes met hers, and he swears he felt butterflies as if they were cheeky teenagers going to prom. "Ana.." He kind of breathed, and stood to his feet, Katelyn standing with Lucas on her hip, and starting to slowly walk to the front door. "You look ravishing, my dear." He whispered in her ear when he was close enough, and he pecked her cheek lightly, before turning around and seeing Katelyn had went outside. "I've only dreamt of this moment.." He closed the gap between them, their lips connecting with the other's, and closing his eyes as he deepened the kiss, his hand cradling her head, and only pulling back when he was suffocating them. "for a long,... long time." He smiled lovingly at her. "Come, love." He let his arm run down her arm, and took her hand, opening the doors for her, and driving them all to the premiere in the city, in Ana's car. His truck couldn't fit them all.
They arrived, the valet parking the car as they got out. There was no red carpet, but there was paparazzi, which surprised him. "Apparently, the man who made this movie, heavily publicized it." He said to Ana before they were in camera range, Lucas hiding his face in his mother's shoulder, and Jacob's arm protectively around Anastasia's back. They walked into the building, where Jacob's castmates were scattered around with their immediate family as well. It was a long night, full of thank-you speeches, and a big speech from the creator himself, thanking the polite, and patient cast. Jacob groaned as he was on his feet yet again, twirling the champagne in the delicate glass resting his his fingers. "Ready, baby?" He whispered, as it was pitch black outside now, and Katelyn had taken the car far earlier with a sleeping Lucas, leaving the married couple to hail a cab. He threw back his champagne, and deposited the glass on the table they were seated at. The movie itself was horrible, just cheesy in all its form. Jacob chuckled, as he squeezed Ana's hand and held the door open for her after he'd said his goodbyes.
"Let's just go home.. and let me show you how much I've missed you.." He muttered against her skin in her ear, as they sat on the leather seats in the cab, his arm hanging on her shoulders, and he told the driver their address. "Short hair?" The ends of his lips curved up as he kissed her cheek softly, his fingers tracing circles on her shoulder on the other side. "This isn't my long-haired beauty." He continued, having noticed her hair when they kissed before leaving the house, but not saying anything about it. "Nonetheless.. you're still my beauty." He was thankful for the closed window barrier between him and the taxi cab driver, and he stopped himself before he did anything embarrassing. So, he contained himself by leaning back against the seat, his arm still hanging on her shoulders, his index finger tracing lazy circles on her soft skin.
Not soon enough, the cab stopped in front of their petite home, and he was glad to see the porch light on at least. He paid the driver, and then met his wife on the sidewalk in front of the home. "Aye, wait a sec love." He smiled, and let go of her hand, before he managed to pick up the female in his arms. "I told you I was getting better." He kissed her cheek as her head was near his, and took them both inside, opening the door easily, and shutting it with his foot. Silence consumed the home, and he couldn't help the smile on his face, as he managed his way down the hall and into their bedroom, sealing the door shut with his foot, and then easing Ana on the bed, as he was still above her. "I love you, I love you, I love you." He growled into her skin. It was so soft, and his was so needing to feel her warmth. His face was still scruffy, but not enough to hurt, just enough to tickle the skin as he kissed at every place of skin that was open. After achieving that goal, he stopped, his eyes searching hers, as if for some confirmation that this was actually happening, and he wasn't in some odd dream.
His lips were unknowingly slightly parted, and resulted in a low moan as he was only an inch away from her skin. His eyes shot down in surprise, and he had a smug grin plastered on his scruffy face. He found her left hand, and held it with both of his as he sat next to her hips, and kissed it softly, and slowly, never once breaking eye contact with her. "After everything we've been through.." He started, interrupting with small kisses going up her arm, reaching her elbow. "All the pain, and hurt.." He muttered, and made it to her shoulder, growing a little faster. "I have yet to see any of it. All I see is the love spilling out of your beautiful eyes." Traveling up her neck, slowing down, as he went across her cheek, and finally, after much wait, he landed on those sweet, lovely lips of hers.
      "Ana. You look ravishing, my dear." She blushed a bit as he whispered in her ear and kissed her cheek. She looked up at him. "Thank you." She, along with Jacob watched as Katelyn walked out, leaving the couple alone for a minute or so. Her sheepish smile turned to a smirk as she wrapped her arms around his neck with a raised eyebrow. "I've only dreamt of this moment.." She chuckled softly before he pulled her towards him to close the space between the two. She had her eyes close as she could feel her body sway side to side a bit as he deepened the kiss. She moaned softly before he pulled away to look at her. "for a long,... long time. Come, love." She just nodded as she walked out of their house, hand and hand with Jacob before slipping into the passenger's seat before driving off The whole time she had her hand intertwined with his. When they finally arrived, Ana fixed her hair for what felt like the tenth time before shutting the compartment mirror and getting out only to wait for Jacob who handed her keys to the valet.
      "Apparently, the man who made this movie, heavily publicized it." She nodded softly before turning towards him. "Aw, our first picture of you being the actor husband and me being the nobody wife that everyone hates or envies." She smirked before leaning her head on Jacob as they walked though all the cameras and making their way inside. The night was nice, the movie no so much, but it was another stepping stone in her husband's career and that was all that mattered to her. By the end of the night, she was sitting most of the time with her heels secretly next to her seat so no one could see that she had taken them off. "Ready, baby?"
      "Yea, one second." She slid her shoes back on before standing up and wrapping her arm around his waist as they made their way outside the building for a cab. When he opened the car door for her she slid in. "Aren't you quite the gentleman tonight." What was up with her? It was as if just like that he teasing side came back to life around him. She made room for her husband to get in as she pulled her feet to the seat next to her as she cuddled up next to her husband who was giving the driver their address. When the driver started pulling away and the divider closed, Ana kissed her husband cheek before cuddling back towards him. "Let's just go home.. and let me show you how much I've missed you.." She purred a little bit in his ear before kissing his cheek with a smirk. Great minds think alike she supposed. Either way, they both were on the same page. . "Short hair? This isn't my long-haired beauty." She pouted as she shifted a bit in her seat. "Oh, you noticed...?" Well, there went their night.
      "Nonetheless.. you're still my beauty." She rolled her eyes as she scoffed before returning her head to his shoulder. "You are such an ass." She as she turned her eyes to him with a smirk still on her face. The rest of the ride was nice, they talked and kissed her and there but just by looking at the two you could tell they were getting impatient with how long the ride was taking. When they finally pulled up, Annie was quick to get out. "About time." She waited in front of their house and Jacob paid and smiled when he returned to her side. "Aye, wait a sec love." She groaned softly before being taken by surprised when he lifted her up. She laughed before covering her mouth. "What the hell?" She said through her laughter as she received a kiss from Jacob. "I told you I was getting better." As they entered the house, the two kept it quiet as he carried her to their room. Just looking at him it was like a romance movie where everything finally felt like it was falling into place. And it was only going to get better as he laid her down on the made bed and started exploring, so to speak. "I love you, I love you, I love you." She moaned a little. "I love you too, baby. I love you." She could just feel her heart beating faster and louder the more he kissed her and the fact that he was looking at her didn't help. She could feel a knot forming in her stomach. "After everything we've been through. All the pain, and hurt. I have yet to see any of it. All I see is the love spilling out of your beautiful eyes." She smiled softly as he kissed her, before she could let herself get lost in the kiss and in him. She pulled away for a brief moment thinking if she should have done her surprise, but this was much better. Her's could wait for the next time and there was going to be a next time very soon if things kept going well like this. Besides this was spontaneous and out of nowhere, and it was completely and utterly sexy and she was not about to ruin it. "God, I love you." She said as she pulled away only to pull him right back to her.
      The rest of their night was, amazing to say the least. They didn't have sex or anything, but after the night on the island going all the way was the last thing Ana had on her mind, well not the last thing. But, nonetheless they had a night they wouldn't forget, at least Ana did as she woke up in his arms wearing nothing more than her undergarments with her dress tossed somewhere within their room. She shook her head slightly as she yawned and looked up at her husband. The young blonde sighed and let herself smile as she kissed his jaw as she kept her hand on his chest and the other right under her body. She softly shook him to wake up as she smiled completely. "Good morning." She said as she sat up to stretch her arms before returning back to her space on his chest. "Not hungover again, are you?" She teased as she smirked up towards him.
It had been an amazing night, for all the right reasons. He could kiss her where he wanted, she let him hold her to him, and all he remembers is knowing who he was with last night. He knew that woman, not the one she'd pretended to be for the past year almost. He woke up after Anastasia the next morning, with nothing but boxers and a pair of pair of ridiculously comfortable pajama pants that were his favourite. He didn't feel her kisses, but he heard her, and opened his eyes to the picture of her waking up, and stretching her arms. "Mmm.." He moaned, and instinctively turned on his side, as she returned, and nuzzled his head into her neck. "Just 5 more minutes, love." He whispered, and shook his head at her question. "Only if you have a splitting headache." He smiled against her skin, and slowly woke himself up, letting out a long sigh.
"You know I love you, don't you?" He started rubbing his neck, his muscles flexing. "I mean, are we okay?" He hated he had to be the buzzkill so to speak, but he wanted to do this right. "I just.. I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I don't want you to feel like you don't know me.." He paused, as he lifted himself and started attacking at her neck. "Because, oh.. you do." He sighed into her, and was partially kissing her lips when there was a knocking on their bedroom door.
"Aye." He said, and sat up, facing the door now, to see a red-faced Katelyn. "Sorry if I woke you up. Jake.. can we talk?" She seemed distraught, and he looked to Ana. "Of course." He nodded to Katelyn, only after kissing Ana briefly. He followed his sister who was waiting in the kitchen as he threw on a white shirt. "Love, what is it?" Katelyn let out a shaky breath as she began. "It's.. Paul. He's pleading not guilty to the charges, so I have to go back to the courthouse at home, and hire an attorney, and everything there." Jacob's eyes grew, and he hugged his sister. "I am so sorry, Kate. Is there anything Ana and I can do?" Katelyn stood there for a minute, and then nodded slowly. "I know you guys have been helpful with Luke, and he loves it here. If he could just stay here.. for.. a few months..?" Jacob looked back at the sleeping toddler, who'd struggled to stay awake the night before to tell them goodnight, but ended up passing out hours before they'd gotten home. "Why, of course. We love the little guy. Coffee?" Jacob said comfortingly, and Katelyn's eyes twinkled in curiosity as she nodded. "How did you know, Jake?" He looked confused at her, and then she further explained, sitting at the table, as Jacob moved about the kitchen quietly. "How did you know Anastasia was the one you'd be with?" Jacob nearly dropped the mug, and he stood there for a minute, gathering himself. "How I knew?" He seemed hesitant, but he relaxed as the coffee maker kicked on. "Well.." He sat across the table from his sister.
"Anastasia was just.. different. From the moment we met, I always felt like she knew me. You know? Like, she was just the first person I felt like I connected with, and who accepted who I was.." He frowned. "Well, I guess, what she knew about me and my past then. I admit I didn't tell her until recently, but.. " He looked back at her. "Even now, she accepts it and me. She knows what I've done, and I accept hers. " He explained, running his hand through his dark hair. "I still get butterflies when she tells me she loves me, or looks at me just right, even if for just a second. Honestly, she's so much better than I could ever be, and it's as if she's trying to make me that great with her." He sighed, and rose to his feet, as the timer on the machine went off, signaling the coffee was ready. Katelyn cleared her throat, and sighed. "But, how do you know that she's not just gonna dump you for the next guy that comes along and can promise her everything that you can't and more?" Jacob's eyes narrowed at the bluntness of her question, and he placed a mug of steaming coffee in front of her as he held his, sitting down. "You don't know, Katelyn." He began, blowing on his coffee in an attempt to cool it off. "You trust that once you're married that they won't be tempted. Ana's done just that, several times." He smiled. "She has old loves, crushes, people to run to if she had wanted to. But, she didn't. She vowed to live her life with me, and I can't feel more honored than to spend the rest of my days with such a companion." He smiled, as Katelyn simply nodded. "I guess. I just.. I thought Paul was the one. But, then Luke came, and.. he ditched us for the bikini model." She sighed, wiping her eyes carefully, and Jacob reaching over and patting her shoulder, before going to her, and holding her as he sat in the chair next to her. Rubbing her back soothingly as she cried into his shoulder, like she'd kept her emotions bottled up as she'd been staying at their home.
"I promise, I'll pay you rent, and babysitting fees, once I get this divorce settled." She wept, and Jacob shook his head. "Love, we're family. That's the perks, you don't owe me anything for helping you. You don't me, or Anastasia. You only owe Luke his mother, and to be there. That's all you should worry about." He smiled comfortingly. The siblings sat there talking about nonsense for at least an hour or so, before Jacob heard footsteps, and saw his all too attractive wife in her glow. "Good Morning, my beautiful Angel." He smiled widely, and stood from his chair to kiss her cheek, before returning, and then taking the mugs to the sink. "Hungry, loves?" He asked as he fished out a frying pan, and chuckled. "I suppose we haven't had Jacob's omelet's in quite some time, right Ana?" He opened the fridge, and Katelyn gave a questioning look to Anastasia.
"Me! Me! I'm hungry, Jakey!" A small voice was suddenly heard, along with his mother's laugh, and Jacob's grunt. "Alright, little man, breakfast is coming your way!" He laughed.
      When he moved towards her neck, she laughed as she let her hands run through his hair. "Just 5 more minutes, love." She sighed as she kissed his neck before whispering into his ear. "I don't think five minutes will hurt anyone." She purred softly in his ear as she kissed his neck. When he asked if she had a headache, she shook her head as she continued to kiss him. When he pulled away, she turned to her side with a pout forming on her face. "You know I love you, don't you?" She shifted a little as she moved her eyes from his body to his eyes and nodded. "Of course I do." Now she was worried. She looked him in the eyes as she wondered what he was getting at. "I mean, are we okay?" She cleared her throat as her pout got bigger. "Definitely, I mean I think we are. W-Why is something wrong?" She sat up before turning her body to face his. "I just.. I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I don't want you to feel like you don't know me.."
      "Oh." She laid back down as he moved towards her. "Because, oh.. you do." She moaned slightly as she laid back and just let him kiss her neck. She slightly moved his chin to look at her before leaning in. Right as they were about to kiss and probably replay the whole night over again there was a knock at the door. When Jacob got up Ana let out a sharp sigh.  "Sorry if I woke you up. Jake.. can we talk?" When she heard Katelyn, she moved a bit to Jacob side just in case she could see within the room and see her. "Of course." When he came back into the room to grab a shirt and softly kiss her. When he left the room she sighed as she looked up at the ceiling. She knew he was going to go talk to Kate, she was his sister for crying out loud, his blood, and Ana and him had tons of time to make another magical night. So, she got sat up as she moved about, cracking her back before let out a huge groan. She sighed as she got out of the bed and grabbed his button up from the previous night. She left the top two buttons left open as she went to the hallway closet to grab a towel and wash cloth. "How did you know Anastasia was the one you'd be with?" She furrowed her eyes as she stopped looking and started listening, she wanted to hear what Jacob was going to say. She knew he would also say the right thing to her, but it didn't mean he would say to someone else. "Well, Anastasia was just.. different. From the moment we met, I always felt like she knew me. You know? Like, she was just the first person I felt like I connected with, and who accepted who I was. Well, I guess, what she knew about me and my past then. I admit I didn't tell her until recently, but even now, she accepts it and me. She knows what I've done, and I accept hers. " She looked down at the blue towel in front of her as she sighed. She did accept his past, all of it and as much as she wished it didn't happen, it did. As much as she wanted to act it did bug her, it still did pop in her mind about everything Katelyn had told her from the baby not being his to Mandy never being faithful to him and he still felt like he had to be with them because he had no idea.
      There was this weight on her shoulders now that her and Jacob have told each other everything, and now there was this! How was she suppose to keep this from him?! This was huge and she needed to tell him... She just didn't think after an amazing night like that was the right time. "I still get butterflies when she tells me she loves me, or looks at me just right, even if for just a second. Honestly, she's so much better than I could ever be, and it's as if she's trying to make me that great with her." She could feel her face getting red as she continued to listen. "But, how do you know that she's not just gonna dump you for the next guy that comes along and can promise her everything that you can't and more?"
      "You don't know, Katelyn. You trust that once you're married that they won't be tempted. Ana's done just that, several times. She has old loves, crushes, people to run to if she had wanted to. But, she didn't. She vowed to live her life with me, and I can't feel more honored than to spend the rest of my days with such a companion." She smiled as she took the towels and washcloth and returned to their bedroom to take a shower. The whole time, she had the same goofy and dorky grin on her face. He really did love her no matter what. The man she thought she could lose at any given day still loved her after all the crap they been through from losing their daughter to finding things out about each others' past to being apart for a month, it was as if it didn't matter to him and all he wanted was... her, just like how all she wanted was him. she shut off the water and tied one around her chest and the other in her hair as she walked out into their room to feel a chilling breeze and seeing all of their clothes surrounding the bed. Rolling her eyes she started to pick them up and put them in the hamper before heading towards the closet to get dress for the day. She grabbed a tank top and a pair of grey leggings before tossing her towel in the hamper and getting dressed. While she was getting dressed her hair was drying in the towel and by the time she freed her newly shortened blonde locks. She put a little moose in her hair before grabbing a black headband and starting for the kitchen. She smiled as she looked at the two siblings.
      "Morning." She looked towards Jacob as he quickly made his way to kiss her cheek. "Good Morning, my beautiful Angel." She grabbed a mug before filling it and putting it in the microwave to warm it up. She turned towards the others and looked at Jacob as he grabbed out a frying pan. "I suppose we haven't had Jacob's omelets in quite some time, right Ana?" She nodded. "It's felt like forever." She said before walking over to him and wrapping her arms around him, one of her hands crossing around his chest as she laid it on his shoulder. "Best morning after ever." She whispered in his ear with a smirk before kissing her cheek. "Me! Me! I'm hungry, Jakey!" she quickly backed away from her husband, just in case Luke walked in to the kitchen. "Alright, little man, breakfast is coming your way!" When the microwave started to beep she grabbed the steaming cup before placing a hand over her heart. "Wow, I have a personal chef. A woman could get used to this." She smirked before grabbing the cream from the fridge and started to fix her cup of coffee before taking her seat back at the table as she watched her husband make breakfast.
"Hey.." Jacob turned towards his wife, as the pan sizzled with eggs. "I've cooked many a meals for you. " He surely defended himself, and resumed his cooking of omelets. There were soon 6 omelets piled on a white dish, and Jacob set it in the center of the table, next to the neatly organized place mats for the four of them. He swallowed as he had a small, heart-warming smile as he retrieved himself and Luke a glass of milk, as the women seemed set on their coffee. "Alright, loves, the Chef has sat down." He announced, and simply chuckled at Katelyn's annoyed glance, her fork shoving into her eggs.
They all ate in happiness, there were the quiet and loud moments, but they all maintained the same happy glow as each of the individuals had shown this morning. As Jacob followed Anastasia into the kitchen to clean up the dishes, by hand washing, Katelyn sturdied herself in front of her 2 year old, who knew something was up. Jacob was absentmindedly drying the dishes, nudging Ana to look, as he turned around, leaning back against the sink, the water running still.
"Luke.. Mommy's gotta go do grown-up things, alright?" Luke's little eyes softened, and Jacob made a mental note that children always show their true emotions. "B-but.." Luke's lower lip began to tremble, and by the soften in Katelyn's posture, he could tell she wasn't ready for what was about to happen. Katelyn wiped the first tear that escaped his eyes, and Luke suctioned himself to his mother, his little hands caught up in her hair, and his bear falling to the floor. Jacob's jaw tensed, and he looked to Ana, kissing her cheek. "Are you ready for this?" He asked her softly in her ear, and kissed her lobe.
Luke was positioned so he could still see his Aunt and Uncle, but all they could see were his eyes. Luke buried his face, crying into Katelyn's shoulder, and Katelyn turned, to hand the boy off to his new caretakers, as she did, Luke had a death grip on Katelyn. "No! No!" He said frantically, and Jacob secured his hands under the boy's arms, and he hugged him to him. "Luke.. buddy, she's coming right back, okay?" He tried to say, and Luke just started squirming and kicking, desperate to get to his mother. Katelyn, now properly dressed, stood at the door, and waved to Luke, before shutting the door behind her, and in that instant, Luke fought the hardest he could, Jacob struggling, and he set the boy on the ground, where he shot to the door.
"Luke!" Jacob gasped, as he heard the car leaving, and Luke's little nose was pressed into the glass, struggling to reach the knob. "Mommaaa!" He squealed, and Jacob felt despair as he went to the now sitting Luke, the bear in his grasp, and wiped his tears, his jaw clenched. "She'll be back before you know it, lad." He said softly, and looked around for Ana. "You wanna play with Jakey and Annie?" He offered holding the bear out, and Luke's eyes brightened a bit. "Yeah.." He sniffled, and latched himself onto Jacob, instantly wetting his shirt. Jacob just chuckled, and went to the living room, where most of his toys had been stored. "What shall we do today, buddy?" Luke gave a sniffled chuckle, and he walked to a box where he got out a toy train. "Choo Choo!" He smiled, and Jacob ruffled his hair. Just in a matter of hours, train tracks were all over the house, and Jacob stepped on them too many times. "C'mon Annie!" Luke would playfully smile as he made noises with his mouth.
Jacob spent the whole day, not purposely ignoring Ana, but devoting all of his time towards the small boy they now had full possession of until his mother returns. He kissed the boy's head as he finally drifted off, and Jacob slowly rose to his bare feet, where he quietly exited the room and went down the hall to where Ana was in the kitchen, cleaning up after dinner still, and he slid his arms behind her, and under her shirt. "He's out like a light." He smirked devilishly, and nuzzled into her neck for a few seconds before letting go, and helping her with the rest of the clean up. Jacob had reached his hand into the foggy waters of the sink, and quickly withdrew it, his thumb quickly turning red. "Ah!" He spat, and grabbed the paper towel, to conceal his wound before blood dripped. "Don't we have band-aids in the bathroom?" He asked, feeling silly for not remembering where the first aid was in his own home.
"I'm gonna get it checked out, love." He winked towards her, and let her go ahead, and when he was sure she'd made it to the bathroom, he slowly followed, lifting the paper towel to only break the scab that had formed. "Blood is certainly an interesting liquid, isn't it?" He said loud enough for her to hear, only to come into the door, just hearing something about pink bandaids. "Aye love, real men wear pi-" He gasped as she was suddenly on the floor, and he just looked away, letting out a small sigh. "Ana.. are you alright?" He asked, crumpling the towel and paper in his hands to throw away as she brushed her teeth. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to gross you out that much. But thank you, Angel." He spoke softly, and set the box on the sink as he stood behind her, wrapping his hands around her, his fingers teasing the hem of her shirt. "You're bloody irresistible tonight, aren't you, love?" He smiled, looking at her in the mirror, before kissing her cheek slowly, and a single finger touching her stomach.
His emotions were suddenly at the prime, and he hid his face into her neck, turning her around slowly. Hands on her hips, he took her hands putting them on his shoulders, hanging, so he could have access to wherever he pleased. His kisses ranged from on her collarbone, to shoulders and neck, then up to her lips. Occasionally, he'd lean over and tug at her lobe needingly with his teeth. Jacob, having shown much improvement in his twice a month physical therapy sessions, managed to pick up the petite blonde, and set her on the counter easily, and attacked at any open skin. "Ana.." He breathed, his hands hungrily searching her shirt and hair, pulling passion from every inch of his body.
He then scooped her in his arms, and took her to the bedroom, sitting down first, with her straddling him. His hand rested on her hip, his other in her hair, feeling Ana's fingers lift his shirt, and he raised his arms, the shirt disappearing into the abyss. He was soon racing to get hers off, and mumbled I love you's and so beautiful's in her ears until he grew hoarse in his throat. Before he realized that what they were doing could be damaging to the relationship they'd managed to repair several times now, he was breathless, laying on his back, a thin layer of sweat over his and her skin, and he looked over to her, as if she was a rare treasure. "Gods, I love you." He smiled a small smile, before turning on his side, and kissing at her shoulder, then peppering his way to her forehead.
Jacob managed to situate himself on his back, and kept an arm around his wife, with his undying love, and fell asleep with his head somewhat teetering back and forth as he was kind of sitting up then. " You're bloody amazing.." Jacob whispered to her ear. But, he eventually stilled as his head rested lightly on hers, so it wouldn't be bothered if she did get up.
      As Jacob wrapped his arms around her waist, she smiled as her arms slid behind his head to bring him even closer to her. The blonde thought she heard the sound of little, tiny feet walking on the floor but, she brushed it off. She didn't want to let go of him, she didn't want to stop kissing because she knew when she did in the back of her mind the thought of their night would be messing with her, making her think of the worst possible things that could ever happen. So, she just kept kissing him until he pulled away. "C'mon, Auntie. I hear our little nephew waking up." She pouted as she sighed sharply and held her robe closed as she tightened the silk robe around her waist. She smiled as he kissed her again only to pull away when she heard Lucas. "Eww!" She sat up in her bed as she watched the two interact before Jacob set him on the bed. "Well, here pirate! Your first mission! Get your Auntie up." She lost the smile on her face for a moment before noticing the smile on his and rolling her eyes. She tossed one of the small pillows at her husband before he walked out of the room to start breakfast. She sat up on their bed with her feet on the ground as Luke reached for her hand as he got up. She chuckled as he struggled to pick her up. "What ya doing, Luke?"
      "Jakey said get up." When she saw him trying so hard to get her up, she smiled before standing up and starting to walk to their door. She stopped short of the door frame before looking down at the robe she was wearing. She cleared her throat as she squatted down to Lucas' level and smiled towards. "How 'bout you go help Jakey and I'll be out in a sec. Sound good?" Luke just nodded with an innocent and gleeful smile on his face before scurrying off towards the kitchen. As he did, Ana got up as she closed the door behind her and locked it. It was kind of funny who that whole night it didn't occur to them that they might want to lock their door to stop any... interruptions from coming in to their room. At the thought she chuckled and shook her head before grabbing out a pair of her running shorts and a black tank top. She hung her robe back up and walked toward their bedroom door to go to the kitchen. When she entered she saw Luke sitting at the table and her husband cook their breakfast. She sighed as she looked at him, a knot forming in her stomach as she looked at him. Even if she didn't want to worry about their night and what could happen. In the back of her mind that's all she could think about. What of she did get pregnant? And they lost their baby again. Then what? Would they be in the exact same spot they were in before? Or would they actually divorce this time? And all because they were too in their feelings to be safe. After Jacob served them and they finished eating.
      "Hey Luke? Go get dressed, buddy. We're gonna go see a movie." When he ran off towards his clothes, her eyes turned to her husband as he addressed her as well. "You too, Annie." She rolled her eyes before kissing his cheek and whispering in his ear. "No one likes someone bossy, Jake." She smirked as she grabbed her dish and put it in the sink before walking away to their bedroom to get ready. When she entered the bedroom, she went to the closet and set out her out fit for the day before heading to the bathroom to start the shower.
