Overall
Aidan is a fairly average but handsome guy when it comes to his physical appearance. He's slim, but not scrawny. When it comes to his dress code, he doesn't really have one. He's artistic, so he wears whatever he feels like depending on what moods he's in. Sometimes he dresses very casually, sweat pants and t-shirt. Sometimes edgy, leather jacket and dark blue jeans and sometimes he dresses like he's going to meet the president. It all depends on what he's doing and who he's with. He's not into fashion, he just loves change.

Personality
Aidan is what one would call a free spirit. He's very artistic and inventive. He loves to think outside the box and is a fan of anything unique or unusual. He's very honest, but not rude. He doesn't like any sort of drama and avoids conflict at all costs. Since his sister is much like him in this way, they get along flawlessly. But unlike Abigail, he's very talkative and somehow always knows the right thing to say or the right joke. He's also very open, and not usually shy around anyone. He's the type of guy that will start up a conversation out of thin air and turn it into a friendship within a matter of minutes. Because of this he has a good amount of friends, but only a few of them that he truly trusts. He loves any form of art, but mostly the traditional kind. He can often be found in his study with a brush in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. He loves to experiment with paint so it's best to stay away from his work area when he's "inspired". He finds inspiration in the strangest things, and one of his goals is to find his muse; the source of his best inspiration. Most importantly, he is ridiculously protective of his little sister. Though she's an adult, he still sees her as his baby sister and will thoroughly inspect anyone that tries to get close to her. He doesn't like using force, unless it's to scare away any man that gets near Abby.

So begins...

Aidan listened to Cordelia's explanation and his eyes slowly widened. His eyes immediately turned to Abby and it looked like she was thinking the same thing. Somehow Cordelia seemed almost shocked and Aidan wasn't sure how to take that. "So...that makes Castiel the most powerful of them all?" he questioned, the thought of his sister dating the most powerful god on the planet somehow not sitting well with him. "And where do you think he went?. Aidan only asked because Cordelia seemed to know Cas very well. she also seemed to be good at catching onto what was going on. He said he had to take care of something, go find someone" he added, attempting to give her some sort of clue.

Leon couldn't believe what had just happened in front of him. Castiel had just smacked Roman, and by some miracle, Roman didn't attack him. "I never said it was" Cas said with a shrug to Roman's comment. Leon rolled his eyes and semi-glared at the blue eyed god. "Was that necessary? you- his voice suddenly trailed off as he realized what Roman had just said. it worked...he was remembering. Leon slowly turned to face the taller angel, his eyes hopeful yet a little afraid. "You remember?" he asked, almost afraid of what Roman would answer. He didn't know what he remembered. He could be remembering everything [I]but[/ii] him. Castiel watched them curiously. His blue eyes examined the duo, attempting to figure them out. Leon looked at Roman the same way Cas looked at Abby. He'd have to ask them what that meant later. There were a few things he wanted to Leon.

Cordelia nodded when Aidan asked if Casteel was the most powerful. He was technically the head council member now. Which she didn't like. He already took over the angel rebellion, but now she has to take orders from him every other time as well. This was going to ignore her. She saw the panicked look on both Abby and Aidan's faces. "Don't worry. Cas won't do that to Abby. He loves her. Even if he doesn't know what that word means." If there was one thing she for sure knew about Casteel it was his feelings for Abby. Eventually someone would have to sit down and explain that to him. But not now. He was missing at the moment. Aidan was extra curious. She hadn't seen Leon in forever and he wasn't sulking in the nearby corner. Cas went to go grab a person. "He is fetching Leon. Wherever he is." Cordelia knew way more than she should from sitting around in a cell. Abigail took a seat in a near by chair and her face was a bright pink. "L-loves me..." That was pretty much all she heard. Cordelia's eyes grew wide. "Shit. I did not mean to reveal it like that." Now she kind of felt bad.

Image

Casteel chose to smack Roman, which made him want to attack the God even more. Roman might be angry, but he wasn't stupid. Well not yet. If he has to continue to deal with Cas then he might just risk his life to kill the council member. He stopped rubbing his cheek and Leon asked if Roman remembered again. The older male nodded and brought his glare away from Cas. Love filled Roman's eyes as well as a bit of hurt. But he would explain why later. "Yes. I do. I also remember that I didn't like Casteel when he first texted you while we were together." He shifted his gaze to Cas one last time, before keeping his eyes on Leon. "Also I am slightly mad at you."

Leon. if Aidan remembered correctly, that was Cordelia's brother. in understand and listened as she continued to speak. his eyes widened the slightest bit when she mentioned Castiel's feelings towards his sister. he wanted to ask if she was sure, but Cordelia looked one hundred percent positive. Aidan was at a loss foe words. He glanced at his sister, who seemed flustered, then at Cordelia. "So if he doesn't know what love means, then he doesn't know he loves her, which means someone will have to tell him" he n a mental thought that the someone wouldn't be him. He slowly took a seat near his sister, gently placing a hand on hers. "So we should wait until they get back?" he half questioned, half stated, still looking at the angel. It didn't seem like she had any intentions of doing anything else, and Aidan had absolutely no idea where to go from here, so he guessed waiting was the only option.

Image
Image

Leon's expression went from relieved to confused. "You didn't?". his tone was curious, just like Cas' expression. Leon tried to remember the last time Cas had texted him. it was when he ran out on Roman. Leon was beginning to see why he wouldn't like the god. "Also I am slightly mad at you.". Leon's face immediately filled with worry. he tried to remember what he could have done to make him angry, but everything he thought of he had already apologized for. Of course, he would apologize a thousand more times if necessary. Still, he couldn't pinpoint why Roman would say that. "I-I'm sorry..." he muttered. Castiel let out a soft "ha" as he leaned against the wall. "Why are you apologizing? he's the one that turned on you" he stated. Cas wasn't really defending Leon, he was simply stating the truth. Leon didn't seem to appreciate it. e shut Castiel a warning look, though the god wasn't phased.

Abby kind of wish she hadn't heard that from Cordelia and Cordelia wished she hadn't said anything. It would have been nicer to hear it from Mr. Perfect, but if he didn't know what it was he wouldn't be able to admit it. Abby didn't know what to do at the moment. He brother sat close to her and she rested her head on his shoulder. Cordelia walked over to the desk nearby and sat on it. They were going to sit there and wait for Casteel and Leon. Then they could continue on with whatever plan Casteel had. But to take her mind off reality she looked at Aidan. "Hey. Let me see your wings." She said to him. She has had been curious to see him as an angel for a while.

Image

Roman wasn't expecting an immediate apology from Leon. He was expecting complaining or something like that, but he didn't get it. The older male just smirked a little and muttered an 'i forgive you'. They weren't exactly back to normal. Leon had just experienced some trauma and Roman had a headache. One from the memories and two from being bothered by the council man. "Why are you apologizing? he's the one that turned on you" Roman grit his teeth and balled his hands into fist. He looked at Casteel. Ready to tear his face off. "I didn't turn on him on purpose. Your people did that to me." Roman was trying to think of things that didn't make him so angry. But the Gods took Roman and made him forget Leon. His precious Leon. That right there was a step too far. He didn't like Cas because he was a God. He was upset with Cas for jealousy reasons. Then he smacked him. And now he was pushing a something that was out of Roman's control. It was going to take more than some deep breaths to calm this angered boxer down.

There was a deep silence in the room, and Aidan could tell Cordelia felt bad for what she had said. Personally, he didn’t find it to be a bad thing. If the god didn’t know what his feelings towards Abby were then there’d be no way he could confess them to her. Cordelia just made things easier. He prepared himself to speak up and explain what he had just thought up in his head, but she spoke first, asking to see his wings. He suddenly felt nervous, but slowly moved wash from Abigail and got to his feet. With a bit of effort he extended his electric blue wings in each direction. They seemed bigger than the first time he stretched them out. He looked at Cordelia, a nervous smile playing on his lips. ”What do you think?”. He found that their color matched him perfectly, so he hoped Cordelia would like them. ”I’m not sure how to use them yet” he admitted.

Castiel cocked an eyebrow and Leon suddenly felt like throwing a rock at his face, but he held it together and reached out, gently taking one of Roman’s hands in his. ”It’s alright, I know” he said quietly, somehow expecting Castiel to interject, but he didn’t. ”And so does Castiel” he added as he looked at the god who merely shrugged it off. ”And I hate to break it to you but I had nothing to do with this” he said as he pushed himself off the wall and walked back towards them. ”I didn’t even know you had been captured, until I got here. I only came for Leon” his voice was soft yet firm. Leon’s face twisted into a mask of confusion. He didn’t remember Castiel caring about him this much before. Cas on the other hand, was discovering a new found affection for the blonde angel. He’d always wanted a brother, after all. There was also the fact that Cas giving Leon affection seemed to bother the hot headed angel, and Cas just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to irritate someone he didn’t like. He slipped an arm around Leon’s shoulders, making the other jump in surprise, and pulled him back against his own body and away from the other angel. ”How do we know you’re not just pretending to remember?”. The evil smirk on his face was back as Leon struggled to break loose from his grip. "Cut it out" he groaned, managing to break free.

Abigail's face was slowly returning to its normal color as the thoughts of Cas and Love left her. She didn't want to freak out about that right now when there were bigger things to worry about. Like this angel rebellion. Or the Council members that were still with the former head council member. Or the fact that she had no ideas how powerful she actually was. That could be dangerous for everyone. Cordelia broke through the silence with the desire to see Aidan's wings. Abby had already seen them, but she wouldn't mind seeing them again. She liked the color on him. Aidan hesitated, but he eventually sprout his wings and Cordelia smiled. For a moment she thought they were going to look out of place and wrong, but she actually liked the wings on him. It was like he needed them. "They look good. And I can teach you how to use them." She reassured, gesturing him to walk closer her. When he did, she ran her fingers through the feathers. Very soft.

Image

When Roman blamed Cas' people he wasn't pinning the whole thing on Cas. He was just saying the council in general. But he hated this God too much to correct him. ”I didn’t even know you had been captured, until I got here. I only came for Leon” Roman didn't like the way that sounded. And he almost tore Casteel's head off when he pulled the younger angel away from him. He knew better than to fight someone who was clearly more powerful than he was. But he was losing his sense of that as he continued to irritate them. ”How do we know you’re not just pretending to remember?” The smirk meant that the God was doing this on purpose. And that alone was just ticking him off. "So the smack was just for fun?" Roman remembered everything. From his earliest childhood memory to the most recent moments of being with this annoying God. "I remember." He reassured, his voice a tad deeper and stern. Reaching out he pulled Leon back over to him. Leon said something about stopping this, but the older angel wasn't really listening.

Cordelia would happily teach Aidan how to fly. She usually just pushes new angels off a cliff. They learn to fly rather quickly in life or death situations. The ones that don't catch on she rescues and hands over to Leon. He can be a bit more patient that her. But with Aidan she would actually attempt to teach him. The door pried open after some loud banging noises. Cordelia immediately thought the council had done something. But the council member had said that angels were attacked. Her eyes grew wide and she looked over to Abigail. She looked confused and worried. Aidan was expecting some leadership from Cordelia, but she honestly didn't know what to do. Pushing herself off the desk she pulled out her phone. As she pulled out her metal baseball bat, she dialed Cas' number. There was no time for text messages. He picked up and she barely gave anytime for hellos. "The council has started attacking angels. Hurry up and get down here." She practically commanded. Then she just hung up. If Cas had a problem then he would have to punish her later. Cordelia gripped the bat with two hands. Abigail looked at the baseball bat and then at Cordelia. "Are you going to go and fight?" She asked concerned. Cordelia looked at her with a slightly confused expression. "Of course. I started this rebellion. I am gonna go bash in some council faces." The only thing that kept her from bolting out of there was that she was technically babysitting. New angels and New Gods didn't know much about their strength of power. So she had to make sure nothing happened to either of them. Especially Abby or Cas would have Cordelia's head.

Leon had enough of the bickering and tension of the two. He managed to push Roman and Casteel away from each other. Taking advantage of the distance and minor silence, the older angel calmed down. Staying angry like this wasn't very helpful. Especially because had no reasonable way to release his anger. Usually he would just attack a punching bag, but the only thing he has is a immortal that was much stronger than him. Roman ran his hand across the back of his neck. Leon had asked about a girl and through context clues figured it was Cordelia. But the news about Abby and Aidan being here confused him. By the look on Leon's face, it confused him as well. Why were they on the island? Were they also angels? There was so much catching up that had to be done. But first they needed to get back down to the Island.

Cordelia was a tiny bit proud of Aidan for finding a weapon to help her out. Abigail was still sitting down contemplating on what to do. There was no way she would be able to fight. Especially because she knows that Aidan and Casteel wouldn't want her to fight. But she doesn't want to be left here waiting for the rebellion to be over. So she stood up and ran her fingers through her brown hair. "Do you have another baseball bat?" Cordelia smiled widely and walked back to her desk. She grabbed another metal bat from underneath and tossed it over to Abigail. "I have a thing for bats." she said with a shrug. Well at least Abby now had a weapon. Cordelia headed back to the door and opened it up. "Well lets go." She encouraged, walking out of the room. She headed towards all the screaming and shouting was. That is most likely where angels are being injured.

Image

Roman didn't have a problem keeping up with Casteel and Leon. His wings were just as big as theirs. But he was having a hard time focusing on his flying as Casteel caught them up on what was happening. Aidan was now and angel, but he still didn't know exactly what Abby was. He wasn't going to ask since that would require communicating with the God he hated. But there was just so much information that he was really focused. He was slowing up a little. But soon the island came into view and Roman stopped thinking about the information and focused on his landing. Leon had just taught him how to land and yet he already knew he was going to mess it up. And it was even more annoying because he was going to mess up in front of Casteel. Roman knows that if he comments, he would have to bash his face in. Roman got his feet to touch the ground and he stumbled a tad, but he didn't fall. Which was a major improvement.

Cordelia led them to the crime scene and just observed for a moment. There were so many injured angels. And the angels that were left seemed to be fighting on their last breath. The council members were so much stronger than the angels. And a group of them almost left the angels out matched. "Emotionless bastards.." It just fueled her anger to see how they were fighting with apathetic faces. They didn't even care that they were killing angels. "I'm bashing faces in." Spreading her wings, she flew right into the fight. Cordelia didn't wait for either Aidan or Abigail. Landing in between, she swung the baseball bat hard in one of their faces. They looked stun, but then she swung again taking it down.

Abigail was absolutely horrified by the sight. Her hands gripped the baseball bat even tighter and her feet were frozen in place. So many hurt angels. So many council members. She took a few steps backwards while shaking her head. Abby didn't fight. There was no way she was going to be able to go in there and start swinging. It wasn't possibly. Cordelia took off without them and Abby started to really freak out. "N-n-no. A-aidan I can't.." She said, taking a couple more steps backwards. In fact she wanted to fly as far away from this place as possible.

Image

Casteel walked quickly, further into Eden. Leon and Roman trailed behind him, trying to keep up. Roman was still processing what was going on, but there was no point thinking about it. It had already happened and he needed to see it. After some silence and more fast walking they stepped onto the battle ground. It resembled a tiny war. But most of the causalities were angels. The council was easily taking out the angels. Well they were up until Cordelia started swinging her baseball bat around. Roman quickly spotted the Lancings and ran right over to them. He pulled them into a hug even though they were completely engrossed with whatever is going on. Abby was almost jumped out of her skin when he grabbed her, but then she quickly realized who is was and hugged back. "H-hi Roman." She said. Not really surprised to see him here since Leon was. "Hey sweet heart. I am so happy to see you."

Abigail was freaking out and Aidan didn’t know what to do, mainly because he was just as terrified. The only difference is, he didn’t show it. He was fully prepared to run over and hug his sister, but was caught off guard when someone hugged him. When he realized it was Roman he wasn’t surprised, but a little worried. Roman had been just fine the night before, but then again, so had they. ”Ro-!” he sounded a bit too enthusiastic but he didn’t care. They needed all the help they could get and surely a boxing angel would come in handy. He had never been so happy to see a familiar face.

Leon watched the scene play out in front of him. There were already several angels down. Roman ran over to the siblings, giving Leon an extra reassurance that he did remember everything. Leon’s eyes landed on Cordelia and he immediately rushed over to her side, picking up a fallen piece of pipe and started swinging it left and right. [color=you have no idea how relieved I am to see you-“[/color] he called out but was cut off by a punch in the gut. Luckily it wasn’t hard enough to do any damage. He had an overwhelming urge to hug his best friend, to really make sure she was here, but now wasn’t the time.

Unlike everyone else, Castiel didn’t hesitate to rush over to Abigail. He barely gave Roman a chance to back away before coming in and wrapping her up in his arms, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. ”It’s alright” he muttered. Despite just recently getting his emotions, Castiel could always tell when Abby was frightened or upset. Right now she was terrified beyond belief. His hand made it to her hair and he rocked her softly, as if that were enough to reassure her. He looked past her at the scene playing out and felt the rage and adrenaline begin to pump through his veins. Payback time. Of course, at the center of it all, was his father. He didn’t know how to give up.

Cordelia kept swinging even though some of them hit her. Every time she felt herself get hit, she just swung harder. Council clearly didn't like her baseball bat. She had missed the reunion, but she sighed with relief when she saw Leon jump in. "you have no idea how relieved I am to see you-“ The person that hit her best friend immediately got a bat to the face. "Same here. I feel like its been ages since I have seen you." Which it has. They have been so engrossed with the disease and their significant others that they have been too busy for each other. That plus the fact they were getting captured left and right. But besides that, she was so happy to see him. Whenever given the chance she was going to hug him tight.

Abigail was still freaking out, but it was nice to have someone hear she knew, knew how to fight. Roman pulled away and she was immediately pulled into someone else. Again she almost jumped out of her skin, but it was only Casteel. A sigh of relief escaped her and she hugged him tightly. Afraid that if she let go, he wouldn't be there anymore. Right now he was her only source of comfort. Of course she had her brother, but Aidan needs to be focused on Cordelia. ”It’s alright” She knew that it wasn't alright, but it was nice to hear it. Mr. Perfect's voice was soothing and making her feet a bit better. Pulling back a little, she looked up at him. "Wh-what should we do?" She asked, in desperate need of some guidance.

Roman pulled away from the Lancings and Cas practically engulfed Abigail. The boxer didn't say anything and focused his attention on his other best friend. Who looked alright at the moment. Then he looked around expecting to see Leon close by, but he was in the fight. His eyes grew wide when he saw someone hit him. "We will catch up later." One flap of his wings he was over in the battle. Once he landed, he started swinging. He was using most of the anger he was holding from Casteel to help him.

Cordelia and Leon started drifting from each other. Hurting Council members was something that she did way more often than she should have. But when she heard a snap, she knew that Leon was killing some of them. A small smile came to her face at the thought of getting her hands dirty. She has wanted to do this to them for years. ”Did I mention I love girls who can fight?" Cordelia giggled and then looked at Aidan. "Glad I could be everything you wanted." Aidan was being very helpful in keeping council people away. That gave Cordelia a bit more time to mess around. Dropping the baseball bat, she took hold of one the brainwashed angels wings and snapped it. The screams only encouraged her. The brunette shoved her foot into his knee causing him to drop to the ground and she gripped the back of his head, slamming his face into the nearby wall. Cordelia was having way more fun that she should have. She did a quick jog and picked the bat back up. Cordelia took out another council members legs and watching him fall to the ground, she switched her baseball bat for a sharp pole. Before the council member got up, she shoved the pole into his leg and through the ground. It wasn't to kill him, it was to keep him from going anywhere. Her and Leon were a bit more deadly than they had been leading on. But they weren't the leaders for nothing. And besides this was the reason that council created angels. For war.

Roman was doing fine on his own. He threw several punches and quick kicks. He was even able to pick up and throw some of them. But he was a bit distracted when he watched Leon carry himself. It was like he was learning a whole different side of his boyfriend. The younger blonde was an animal. He was mercilessly hurting all of these council members and brainwashed angels. Roman was trying to process that his stuttering, red faced Leon could take on a crowd of council members on his own. He was going to mess with Leon about this somehow. ”Duck!” Roman did as he was told and watched Leon practically save his life. Roman had to stop watching Leon. It was putting him in danger. He went back to fighting the people that were coming at him, trying not to watch his monster.

Abigail saw that everyone was fighting and was just getting worried all over again. Her brother, Roman, Cordelia, and Leon were all risking their lives right now. And Abby was too scared to even attempt to go over there. Casteel pulled her away from where the battle was, which she was completely grateful for. But then her stomach twisted into knots when she saw where they were headed. Even though the former head council man was powerless, he still intimidated Abby. She moved a bit closer to her boyfriend and then squeezed his hand. This was still a better alternative to the fighting.

Aidan attempted to stay focused on the battle but it was hard when you’re almost girlfriend was just a few feet away bashing faces in as if she were drinking a cup of tea. At first he was a bit afraid, and then intimidated but all in all, he was impressed. Not too far from then Leon was carrying on the same way. It looked like the badass genes ran in the family. Use admiring Cordelia’s work, Aidan didn’t notice the sour angel coming for him until he had been smacked in the head and stomach. The air was knocked out of him and his vision went blurry from the blow to the head, but he refused to fall. He was not going to be dead weight for Cordelia.

Leon was aware of the way Roman was watching him but it was as if he couldn’t stop. All those decades hiding who he really was, all those years pretending not to be interested in people he was interested in, all those times he had to push people away despite how much he cared for them, all the bitter words he had to say to Roman at one point, all the pain they cause his Roman, as well as himself. All of it was suddenly boiling up to the surface. Everything that had happened up until that point suddenly made him twice as angry. As if that weren’t enough, out of the corner of Leon’s eye he watched one of the council dogs land a hit on Roman, hard enough to make him stumble and fall to the ground in pain. As if they hadn’t tortured him enough. Leon literally felt his rage explode inside of him and within seconds he was on top of the brainwashed angel, landing in hit after hit until the man was on the ground begging for mercy. Leon’s eyes stared down at him like the dagger he had pulled out of his boot and was now pointed at the other’s chest. His eyes were cold and glass like.

Castiel reached his father and the man stared back at him apathetically. ”You don’t know when to give up do you” Cas hissed, but the man offered no response. This annoyed Cas beyond belief. ”I could have killed you before” he almost screamed. This time the man looked. ”Why didn’t you?” he asked, his voice deep and dry as usual. ”It would have saved me the trouble”. Case lifted a brow, "What trouble?", but once again there was no response.

Cordelia was calming down just about from her fun. Lots of the council members were injured, but many more angels were down for the count. Everyone that matter was still around. She witnessed Aidan take a hard blow to the head and stomach. So much for keeping calm. She got up to the person that did it, she round house kicked them in the face. When they dropped to the ground, she grabbed her bat and smashed it against their leg several times until she heard a crack. Then she gave one good blow to the person's chest hearing yet another crack. She was completely satisfied breaking his ribs and leg. Dropping the bat, her attention went to Aidan. Her once vengeful eyes replaced with concern. "Aidan? Aidan are you alright?" She placed her hands on his shoulders gently, trying to get him to look at her.

The count of council members that needed to be defeated was decreasing. And again he let his guard down, watching Leon. Roman would be lying to himself if he didn't say that Leon was bit scary. But then again, Leon was a fighting machine. It was just interesting to watch. Then there was a hard blow to the back of his head that caused the boxer to drop to the ground. He placed his hands on the back of his head and groaned in pain. Roman was seeing black spots in his vision and he knew that wasn't a good thing. Slowly, he moved around trying not to let his head injury keep him from fighting. That is what boxers did. He sat up and blinked a couple of times to get his vision in order. He focused in on Leon to see the smaller angel holding a dagger above a council members chest. Roman's eyes grew wide and he pushed himself off the ground. He stumbled a bit over to his monstrous boyfriend and dragged him off the council member. "You aren't a murderer" Roman also snatched the dagger from Leon.

Abigail was confused to why the former God didn't just give up on this. Why he must have the final word? This war was getting people hurt. She was afraid to look over at what was happening again. If she witnessed anything horrible happen to Aidan or Roman she might just faint. So she kept her attention on what was happening right before her. ”It would have saved me the trouble” Cas tried to have his father elaborate, but the prideful God refused. Abby was letting fear leave her, but rage was filling her. This former head council member has put everyone she loved in danger and refuses to let up. Abby gripped the bat even tighter in her hand and she was glowing just a bit. She couldn't control her energy just yet so experiencing strong emotions showed through her energy. Abby didn't say anything, afraid of whatever was going to come out of her mouth.

Aidan’s vision was blurry, but he refused to show it. He was more than prepared to get his revenge on the individual that dared to hit him, unfortunately for that individual, Cordelia got to him first. She didn’t kill him, but Broome nearly every bone in his body and then she was at his side asking if he was okay. It to him a second to process what had just happened before he nodded vigorously. ”I’m okay, I’m okay” he assured her, standing up straight. He was still dizzy, but dizzy he could work with. He gripped his metal pipe and gave her the smallest of smiles that said he wasn’t ready to give up just yet.

Leon’s fussy blinded him. All he wanted was to plunge the blade into the other’s chest, but he was stopped. His head snapped aside with urgency, expecting to see another council member, but his shoulders eased when he saw the familiar face. ”you’re not a murderer” the soothing voice reminded him, and his fists slowly dropped. The rage was still there, but it hid been momentarily calmed. ”Are you okay?” he asked weakly, twisting around to look at the back of the man’s head.

Despite Castiel’s questions, his father remained silent for much too ling. Finally he spoke. ”I didn’t start this” the msn said meekly. ”This isn’t what I wanted to happen”. Castiel’s hands balled into fists and he could tell Abigail was irritated as well by the soft glow emanating from her. ”Then who did?” Cas all but screamed. His father simply gestured to the council members. The ones that had stayed on his father’s side. ”They wanted revenge for what you did. I told them no, but I no longer hold the power.” as the man spoke, Cas’ eyes narrowed. ”How do I know you’re not just making this up?. Cas’ father stared at him for a second before pulling something out of his pocket. Something round send glowing.

Cordelia looked over Aidan, unable to find anything physically wrong with him. But she was beyond concerned. He claimed to be okay, but she didn't completely believe him. Even with the smile, she was beyond concerned. "You don't have to fight anymore. Most of them are down." She said, not wanting anything else to happen to him. Although the Gods healed quickly, she broke many of them. They would need a few days to recover. Her and her friends could also use that same time to recover. The angel was going to suggest they all find somewhere to recover, but a brainwashed angel about twice her size grabbed her by the wing and flung her. She landed hard against the wall and slid down to the floor. Cordelia groaned and barely moved.

Roman released his boyfriend. Leon turned and examined the boxer. He had blows like this all the time. Of course not from powerful immortals. But it was similar. Leon checked his head and Roman shifted so that he was looking at the younger angel. "I'm fine." He was more reassuring himself than he was reassuring Leon. He smirked slightly. "So you had a dagger the whole time? If I made you mad enough would you have used it one me?" Roman was only teasing, but it was to make Leon feel better.

”I didn’t start this” Abigail was completely confused. All the anger she just had just left her. It was replaced by confusion. How was he not responsible if didn't make any sense. But as the former head council man explained, it made some sense. His people were loyal to the end even if it meant the end of everything. Casteel of course was questioning the validity of the statement. And to prove himself, Cas' father pulled out his orb from his pocket. Abby gasped quietly. That was supposed to be locked away where he couldn't get it. But it was right there in his hand. "H-how..?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She would be surprised if anyone heard her.

Everything hurt and her ears were ringing. The only thing going through her mind was get up and kill whoever threw her like that. But her body refused to cooperate. She stayed on the ground, her wings laid out as well. She muttering curses toward the council members as she laid on the ground. ”Cordelia! Can you hear me?” She immediately covered her ears. Aidan was being so loud and he was right next to her. When he finished yelling she nodded as she uncovered her ears. Her eyes were closed and she stopped trying to get up. Her wings were in serious pain and the rest of her body got seriously heavy. She heard Leon as he closed in close to her. She smiled softly and rolled over so that her head was against him. "I'm fine." She said. Cordelia opened one of her eyes to see the look on Aidan and Leon's face. She closed it when she saw how horrified they seemed. "Don't you two look at me like that? I'm not dead, yet." She said rolling over so that she was back on her stomach. Without warning, she pushed herself up in the sitting position. Hissing at the pain, she rested against the wall.

Roman was glad that he could reassure Leon enough to keep him from worrying. But he caught the immediate horrified look on his face before he took off to take out a beefy looking angel. He saw Cordelia laying on the ground and put together why Leon had looked the way he did. He watched as Leon practically killed the angel and then dashed over to Cordelia. Roman managed to get over there as well, but he was seated and leaning against the wall. He was hoping that she was okay, but he was trying to collect his bearings at the moment.

Abigail thought it was weird that he created another orb for himself. And it seemed suspicious considering what had happened earlier with the angels and the council members. But Cas' father kept saying that he didn't want the civil war. That he wasn't trying to get his power back. But his loyal subjects started it and he was holding the orb in his hands. Whatever his reasoning behind all this was, it had better be good. Casteel doesn't look like someone to give second chances.

Cordelia attempted to act strong, but Leon could tell she was in pain. He knew her too well to fall for it. Aidan could somehow tell as well, though he almost believed her, that is until she sat up and clearly showed that it hurt her. Aidan and Leon both frowned as the eldest angel looked out into the battle field. There were a few angels left standing and coming for them. ”Stay with her” he instructed Aidan before getting to his feet. With a glance toward Roman he picked up speed and met the enemy angels half way, immediately throwing himself back into nettle. Aidan watched him go and settled down next to Cordelia. He was afraid to move her, even touch her, and he didn’t know what to say so he just sat there quietly watching over her.

Cas’ eyes narrowed until they were nothing but slits. The older man seemed unfazed and somehow determined. To do what, Cas didn’t know. ”So you duplicated my DNA to get into the safe and take back your soul for what. Just so you can admire it?” his words were full of venom, more than he meant them to be. His father simply shook his head. ”I trust you’ll do what’s right from now on”. Castiel wanted to demand an explanation, but his father didn’t give him time. Before Cas could register what was going on, the older, former god was squeezing the life out of the orb as well as himself. Castiel stared in horror as his father slowly dropped to the floor in pin, but he didn’t let up. ”What the hell are you doing?”. He sounded more worried and horrified than he would have ever admitted.

Cordelia hated that her body was a dead giveaway to how she was really feeling. She couldn't even say that she was feeling better when she wasn't. Leon had left Cordelia's side to deal with the the rest of the angels. If she could have, she would have gotten up to help. But Aidan and Leon would have just say her right back down. So instead she looked over to Roman. "Get up and help him." Roman nodded and stood up grabbing a baseball bat. He immediately submerged himself in the battle right next to Leon. Even though he was still seeing spots, he was well enough to swing the bat around. And he wasn't going to just let his boyfriend fight by himself. Cordelia's attention went back to Aidan and she smiled at him softly. He looked so worried. She shifted so that she was even closer to Aidan and then she rested her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and sighed, already feeling a bit better than she had.

Abigail finally understood what former head council man meant when he said that he didn't want any of this, as he was squeezing his life orb. The new god's eyes widened and she gasped, throwing a hand over her mouth. She dropped the bat in her hand and took a few steps back when he dropped to the ground. Cas' father was killing himself and they couldn't do anything. They couldn't stop him or take the orb. They just had to watch. His groans and cries forced Abby to cover her ears. She had never seen a person die so painfully and she didn't want to. Cas sounded just as horrified as she felt. And before she knew it, Cas' father just stopped moving. The orb that was once in his hands, completely disappeared. Abby's eyes watered and she wrapped her arms around herself. She took a couple more steps backward until she was stopped by a wall. She wanted to unsee what she had just seen. Abby looked over at Cas, worried about how he was feeling. She pushed herself off the wall and waked towards him. She gently placed a hand on her arm and wiped her teary eyes with the other hand. "Cas?"

Cordelia wanted to sleep. Sleep would heal her. Also some of Cas or Abby's God abilities. But they were preoccupied at the moment. Aidan was holding her hand and she squeezed it back softly. It was just to let him know that she was going to be okay. Roman was dealing with the last set of of angels so that the group could go off and be done with the fight today. Leon was holding his own as usual. Roman was started to lose energy. He definitely need a break. Knocking one of the angels down, he heard a scream. He turned to see Cas near a clearly deceased person. For a moment he thought it was Abby, but he saw her standing near him so he was less worried. Cordelia opened her eyes at the scream and then closed them again. Whatever was going on over, Casteel would explain later.

Abigail was worried for her boyfriend. He wasn't saying anything and whatever he was saying she didn't hear. Then all of a sudden he shouted causing Abby to jump back. She wasn't expecting a reaction like this, but it was a good thing he was reacting. It would have been even more worry some if he didn't do anything. She knelt down so that she was next to her boyfriend and just looked down at the lifeless God. Other Angels that had been fighting had stopped to see what was going on. It was a big deal to kill one of their own. Even though Cas didn't kill his dad, the fact that he was dead was blurring what had actually gone down here. Abigail didn't looked around to see the reactions from everyone else. Slowly she wrapped her arms around Casteel in attempt to hug him and make him feel better.

Leon managed to hold his own until most of the threat was taken care of. Everything seemed to stop and Leon looked over in the direction of the scene. Someone was going on with Castiel and he couldn't tell what. He silently walked up next to Roman and laced their fingers together, looking up at him with a concerned look. It was more than clear that Roman didn't care much for Castiel, but Leon couldn't help but worry about him. Aidan did the same, keeping a firm grip on Cordelia's hand. Something bad was happening, that was for sure.

Castiel's eyes burned as if they were on fire and he gripped onto his father's shirt. He muttered a few curse words under his breath and jumped slightly when Abigail hugged him. "I was going to help him" he muttered, only loud enough for her to hear. "I thought... if he had emotions-" he felt t limp get bigger and he stopped talking. He didn't want a dead father, he wanted a live one. One with emotions, one that could feel regret and remorse for everything he had done wrong, but be able to mend it by doing things right. One that could possibly understand where Cas was coming from, but that was no linger possible. With a shaky breath, Cas slowly got to his feet, his eyes still on the body. He was at a loss for what to do for the first time in his life.

He stared down at Abigail, his eyes burning once again, and his chest felt tight. Cas had never experience anything like this. He wasn't just worried, he was terrified. He held the orb in her hand carefully, making sure not to hurt it in any way. "It hurts. Cas it hurts so much.". He swallowed back tears and took her hand in his. "I know…I know. just try to hang in a little longer" he said, his voice barely a whisper. Aidan, who had rushed over to his sister, took her other hand. He looked the way Cas felt. This was an emotion he never even knew existed. "We'll have to go somewhere to rest" he informed everyone before carefully scooping up Abigail. Aidan took the orb and held it securely in his hand. Cas didn't feel it necessary to tell him to be careful with it. He already knew Aidan would protect Abigail with his life, much like Cas would. He looked at all the people remaining and thought of a good place to recover. "My house. That's our safest bet" he said knowing that as soon as the opposing side recovered they would go directly to the angels headquarters, so that was out of the question. Because of the high position they held, Cas and his father's house was the most protected and secured place on the island. Without another word, he turned and began walking, expecting everyone to follow. His top priority now was Abby.

Everyone was worn out and tired of the fight. But time seemed to stop the moment Abigail had her orb ripped out. When the council member died, Aidan left Cordelia to aide his sister. Roman left Leon to do the same. Those two were like her older brothers and their little sister was in pain. Cordelia had help from Leon to stand up. They were all headed towards the safest place on the entire Island. Everyone moved in silence. Everyone but Abigail. She continued to cry, even though she tried to stop. As Casteel carried towards the house, she curled up closer to him. Thinking that his warmth would just make the pain go away. But that wasn't the case. Not at all. When she moved, she gave a minor cry in pain. When she tried to breathe, she just clutched her chest tighter. Abby would have done anything, gone anywhere, and sold everything to make the pain stop. To be able to feel like she was full of life. But it just felt like she was going to die the most torturous kind of death. Casteel had told her to hang on, but he didn't know how hard it really was. Eventually she just closed her eyes and tried to picture herself dancing with Mr. Perfect. Before she found out he was a God. Before she got sick. Before all the craziness. Back when she was Mrs. Clutz and he was Mr. Perfect. The day they met and it just felt like the stars were aligned. She managed to regulate her breathing with this thought and she stopped crying. But tears still fell down her cheeks. Not from pain. For the desire to have that again. The desire to just be with Mr. Perfect like everything was normal.

The fact that everyone was so silent made the sound of Abby's cries hurt even more. Cas held her tightly, as if he loosened his grip a little she would crumble. He occasionally looked back at Aidan to make sure the orb was still in tact. First priority when they reached his state was to restore Abby's health. He looked back at Abby. She had stopped crying, but the tears were still very viable on her face. Cas' frowned and kean down to kiss her forehead gently.
Aidan trailed closely behind with Cordelia on one side and Abby's orb held closely and safely in the other. He knew Castiel was taking good care of Abby but he couldn't help but check on her every once in a while. He looked over at Cordelia to see how she was doing. She seemed to be walking okay, so he couldn't tell, but he assumed she was still in pain.
Leon walked silently behind the other four, his eyes glued to the ground and his fingers interlocked with Roman's. All of the fighting and emotional strain of the day was finally getting to him. He needed an entire 24 hours of sleep.

They eventually made it to Castiel's house and after getting past all the forms of security, they made it inside. He made sure everyone that needed refuge was inside before closing all doors and putting up every form of security the house had.

Eventually everyone made it pass all the advanced security into what was now a safe haven. Eden was a war ground and this was their bunker. When the house was locked back up there seemed to be some burden off their shoulders. Now they didn't have to worry about people trying to kill them while recovering. But everyone was badly injured and needed to rest. Although no one wanted to rest. Not yet. Not until Abigail looked like she was getting better. But by the flickering light of her orb and they way she was clutching her chest it was like she was getting worse. As a new God she never had the time to fully grow into the orb and now it was just shutting down. It was mature enough to sustain itself, like the head councilman's orb could have. Cordelia took seat on the lazy boy chair, not really taking the time to admire the house that she had never been in. She had folded her wings, but it was the most painful experience she has ever had. Much rather would have left them out, but they were taking up unnecessary space. Roman folded his wings and sat in the other lazy boy chair, immediately pulling Leon onto him lap. It wasn't to be intimate it was to leave Abigail the couch and keep everyone out of the way. Casteel was going to need space to do whatever it was he needed to do. Abby was done crying. It was like her tear ducts had dried up. The pain was still there and she just clutched her chest harder. Her eyes were shut tight. Afraid that to open them and see her dying orb. Abigail wasn't ready to die. She hadn't told Cas how much she loved him. He couldn't hear it if she was floating around in the afterlife. "....Cas...." Her voice barely audible. She just wanted to say the words I love you. But her body wouldn't let her. Even talking hurt.
